Nowadays air pollution is serious. A humidifier can effectively improve the ambient humidity, and the negative oxygen ions released by its atomization are beneficial to people’s health. However, the function of the humidifier is relatively simple at present. An STM32 is used as the core processing unit, a speech recognition module based on LD3320 and a speech synthesis module based on SYN6288 are chosen as the control mode, a more practical and convenient smart humidifier is designed in this paper. ADHT11 temperature and humidity sensor are used to collect ambient humidity, and the collected information is displayed in OLED after MCU processing. If the current air humidity is less than the set value and the water level reaches the standard, the humidifier will begin to humidify. Voice warning is issued when the water level of the humidifier is too low. Besides, the opening and stopping of humidification can be controlled by voice. The testing results show that the humidifier designed is stable with a high-speech recognition rate.

In this paper, we propose the FeatherWave, yet another variant of WaveRNN vocoder combining the multi-band signal processing and the linear predictive coding. The LPCNet, a recently proposed neural vocoder which utilized the linear predictive characteristic of speech signal in the WaveRNN architecture, can generate high quality speech with a speed faster than real-time on a single CPU core. However, LPCNet is still not efficient enough for online speech generation tasks. To address this issue, we adopt the multi-band linear predictive coding for WaveRNN vocoder. The multi-band method enables the model to generate several speech samples in parallel at one step. Therefore, it can significantly improve the efficiency of speech synthesis. The proposed model with 4 sub-bands needs less than 1.6 GFLOPS for speech generation. In our experiments, it can generate 24 kHz high-fidelity audio 9x faster than real-time on a single CPU, which is much faster than the LPCNet vocoder. Furthermore, our subjective listening test shows that the FeatherWave can generate speech with better quality than LPCNet., Accepted by INTERSPEECH 2020

Machine learning (ML) architectures such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have garnered considerable recent attention in the study of quantum many-body systems. However, advanced ML approaches such as transfer learning have seldom been applied to such contexts. Here we demonstrate that a simple recurrent unit (SRU) based efficient and transferable sequence learning framework is capable of learning and accurately predicting the time evolution of one-dimensional (1D) Ising model with simultaneous transverse and parallel magnetic fields, as quantitatively corroborated by relative entropy measurements and magnetization between the predicted and exact state distributions. At a cost of constant computational complexity, a larger many-body state evolution was predicted in an autoregressive way from just one initial state, without any guidance or knowledge of any Hamiltonian. Creating aesthetically pleasing pieces of art, including music, has been a long-term goal for artificial intelligence research. Despite recent successes of long-short term memory (LSTM) recurrent neural networks (RNNs) in sequential learning, LSTM neural networks have not, by themselves, been able to generate natural-sounding music conforming to music theory. To transcend this inadequacy, we put forward a novel method for music composition that combines the LSTM with Grammars motivated by music theory. The main tenets of music theory are encoded as grammar argumented (GA) filters on the training data, such that the machine can be trained to generate music inheriting the naturalness of human-composed pieces from the original dataset while adhering to the rules of music theory. Unlike previous approaches, pitches and durations are encoded as one semantic entity, which we refer to as note-level encoding. This allows easy implementation of music theory grammars, as well as closer emulation of the thinking pattern of a musician. Although the GA rules are applied to the training data and never directly to the LSTM music generation, our machine still composes music that possess high incidences of diatonic scale notes, small pitch intervals and chords, in deference to music theory., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures
