The interplay among various order parameters in quantum materials frequently results in exotic ground states and may facilitate revolutionary functional control. In the A-site-ordered manganite double perovskite SmBaMn2O6, it was demonstrated that an anisotropic strain of less than 0.1% can modulate electrical transport by over 6% near the Neel temperature. It is hypothesized that this phenomenon is due to the high sensitivity of spin fluctuation near the antiferromagnetic ordering to lattice distortion, resulting in significant changes in transport properties. Endothelial pyroptosis promotes cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury (CIRI). Sodium Danshensu (SDSS) has been shown to attenuate CIRI and have anti‐inflammatory properties in endothelial cells. However, the mechanism and effect of SDSS on alleviating endothelial pyroptosis after CIRI remains poorly understood. Thus, we aimed to investigate the efficacy and mechanism of SDSS in reducing endothelial pyroptosis. It has been shown that SDSS administration inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome‐mediated pyroptosis. As demonstrated by protein microarrays, molecular docking, CETSA and ITDRFCETSA, SDSS bound strongly to CLIC4. Furthermore, SDSS can decrease its expression and inhibit its translocation. Its effectiveness was lowered by CLIC4 overexpression but not by knockdown. Overall The beneficial effect of SDSS against CIRI in this study can be ascribed to blocking endothelial pyroptosis by binding to CLIC4 and then inhibiting chloride efflux‐dependent NLRP3 inflammasome activation. Objective To explore the consistency between identification diagnosis and pre-identification clinical diagnosis of patients with mental disorder undergoing forensic psychiatry identification. Methods The identification data of 1 369 appraised individuals who underwent criminal responsibility identification carried out by the Forensic Institute of Second Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University from 2014 to 2017 were collected retrospectively using self-designed investigation data sorting table. A comparative analysis of the mental disorder diagnosis results of expert opinion and past clinical diagnosis results was made. Results Among 1 369 appraised individuals, 964 cases （70.4%） were identified and diagnosed with mental disorder and 405 cases （29.6%） without mental disorder. In this study, an obese mouse model was developed by administering a high sugar and fat diet for 60 days, followed by administration of a special dietary supplement of Ganoderma lucidum extract for another 35 days. Then, the changes in histopathology of the liver, adipose, colon, intestines, spleen, renal and brain tissues; metabolism and transcription; and gut microbiota were monitored. The results showed that alcohol extracts of the G. lucidum fruit body could reduce body weight; change the serum levels of lipid; ameliorate the damage to the gut microbiota, colon, liver, brain and other organs induced by the high sugar and fat diet; and activate the leptin regulatory pathways in the hypothalamus to improve metabolism. These findings indicate that administration of the alcohol extracts of the G. lucidum fruit body has beneficial effects on the microbiome-gut-liver and microbiome-gut-brain axes, and activates leptin-mediated signaling to improve metabolic regulation.

For the process of photovoltaic conversion in organic solar cells (OSCs) and quantum‐dot solar cells (QDSCs), three of four steps are determined by exciton behavior, namely, exciton generation, exciton diffusion, and exciton dissociation. Therefore, it is of great importance to regulate exciton behavior in OSCs and QDSCs for achieving high power conversion efficiency. Due to the rapid development in materials and device fabrication, great progress has been made to manage the exciton behavior to achieve prolonged exciton diffusion length and improved exciton dissociation in recent years. In this review, we first introduce the parameters that affect exciton behavior, followed by the methods to measure exciton diffusion length. Then, we provide an overview of the recent advances with regard to exciton behavior investigation in OSCs and QDSCs, including exciton lifetime, exciton diffusion coefficient, and exciton dissociation. Finally, we propose future directions in deepening the understanding of exciton behavior and boosting the performance of OSCs and QDSCs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
