The hemispherical shell resonator (HSR) is the core element of the hemispherical resonator gyroscope (HRG), and its frequency mismatch is a key property influencing gyroscope accuracy. Investigating the mechanism of frequency mismatch is vital for improving the quality of HSRs and performance of HRGs. Midsurface radius imperfections and thickness imperfections are two principal causes of frequency mismatch, but their combined effects have rarely been discussed. This paper develops a model to comprehensively analyze the frequency mismatch of HSRs with both radius and thickness imperfections. The model derives a quantitative relation between the frequency mismatch and the two imperfections, and provides principles for evaluating dominant imperfections. To validate the model, we conduct experiments on a batch of 12 HSRs with random geometric imperfections. We apply the model in calculating the theoretical frequency mismatches of these HSRs, and the results agree well with the experimental data. The experiment also confirms that for macro-HSRs, thickness imperfections have a larger impact than radius imperfections, and the frequency mismatch is approximately linear to the fourth thickness harmonic. The contracted family doctor services (CFDSs) is a key action selected to be implemented to deepen the reform of the pharmaceutical and healthcare system, enrich primary care services, and achieve the strategic goals of health China. Moreover, the implementation of CFDSs is a main approach to better safeguarding people's health. To effectively promote the development of CFDSs, China has successively launched various relevant supportive policies, and the local governments have been actively exploring practicing approaches. So far, remarkable results have been achieved nationwide, yet there are still many challenges, among which implementation difficulty is a major factor influencing further promotion of CFDSs. We analyzed the implementation process of CFDSs using Smith's policy implementation process model, and identified many barriers to the implementation of CFDSs, such as lack of rule of law, low level of policy executors, insufficient incentives, and impact of policy environment. In view of this, we put forward the following recommendations on exploring innovative policies for sustainable development of CFDSs: designing top-level policy objectives for CFDSs development from perspectives of law and system, improving qualities and professional identity of providers of CFDSs, establishing mutual trust between doctors and patients, and optimizing the policy implementation environment.

NiFe‐based hydroxides are well‐established as efficient electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in alkaline purified water. However, they usually degrade rapidly in seawater electrolysis because of concentrated Cl− anions in seawater. In this work, a facile approach utilizing an ultrafast dipping method is presented to fabricate durable and scalable NiFe hydroxides, enhanced by interfacial akaganéite FeOOH for seawater splitting. This study reveals significantly improved electrocatalytic stability of NiFe hydroxides at an ampere‐level current density of 1000 mA cm−2 for 100 h in alkaline seawater. It is realized by the formed FeOOH in a specific akaganéite phase whose lattice tunnels are well filled by intrinsic Cl− anions, that serve to electrostatically repel corrosive chlorides in electrolyte. This anionic design also provides superior corrosion protection for other active metal‐based OER electrocatalysts when deployed in alkaline purified water and allows for facile scaling up of the anode, facilitating the practical utilization for seawater electrolysis. Transition metal‐coordinated nitrogen sites on carbon catalysts (M‐N‐C) hold potential for CO2 electroreduction (CO2ER), but optimal morphology and active sites are unclear. We introduce a novel approach, developing zeolitic imidazolate framework‐8 (ZIF‐8)‐derived carbon catalysts with Fe‐N and graphitic‐N sites (Fe2‐NC) via molecular confinement and thermal activation. Fine‐tuning ZIF‐8 size and activation temperature yielded 44.98% active N sites. The 300 nm Fe2‐NC catalyst displayed outstanding CO2‐to‐CO conversion, with a 170 mV overpotential and 94.3% Faradaic efficiency at −0.5 V, outperforming state‐of‐the‐art materials. Enhanced CO2ER kinetics and conductivity contributed to this superiority. Results highlight the correlation between maximum CO Faradaic efficiency and cumulative Fe‐N/graphitic‐N sites, dependent on size and activation. The 300 nm Fe2‐NC in a gas diffusion electrode‐loaded flow cell achieved a 15.3‐fold CO partial current density increase. In a Zn‐CO2 battery, the 300 nm Fe2‐NC demonstrated a peak power density of 0.618 mW cm−2, showcasing energy storage potential. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As an emerging 2D ultrawide bandgap semiconductor, hexagonal boron nitride (h‐BN) is gaining significant attention for its superior properties and wide applications. Although optical properties of h‐BN have been partially revealed by using h‐BN bulk single crystal, luminescence properties of the h‐BN few‐layer are rare due to its poor crystallinity. In this work, the h‐BN epilayers have been synthesized on sapphire substrates by the submicron‐spacing vapor deposition method. The crystalline quality of the h‐BN epilayer is improved with the increase of the growth temperature, and the full width at half‐maximum of the Raman peak is only ≈13 cm−1. The low temperature cathodoluminescence spectra of h‐BN epilayers exhibit two strong deep ultraviolet (DUV) luminescence peaks at 5.49 and 5.35 eV, as well as a weaker and broader defect‐related emission band at ≈4.0 eV. The DUV emission band is ascribed to the recombination of bound excitons and its phonon replica. Based on the theoretically predicted energy levels, the 4.0 eV emission band is tentatively attributed to the radiative transition from C impurities occupying the B sites to the B vacancies. Moreover, the h‐BN‐based DUV photodetectors exhibit an outstanding performance, making it a promising prospect for optoelectronic applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Electrochemical C–N coupling reactions based on abundant small molecules (such as CO2 and N2) have attracted increasing attention as a new "green synthetic strategy" for the synthesis of organonitrogen compounds, which have been widely used in organic synthesis, materials chemistry, and biochemistry. The traditional technology employed for the synthesis of organonitrogen compounds containing C–N bonds often requires the addition of metal reagents or oxidants under harsh conditions with high energy consumption and environmental concerns. By contrast, electrosynthesis avoids the use of other reducing agents or oxidants by utilizing "electrons", which are the cleanest "reagent" and can reduce the generation of by-products, consistent with the atomic economy and green chemistry. In this study, we present a comprehensive review on the electrosynthesis of high value-added organonitrogens from the abundant CO2 and nitrogenous small molecules (N2, NO, NO2−, NO3−, NH3, etc.) via the C–N coupling reaction. The associated fundamental concepts, theoretical models, emerging electrocatalysts, and value-added target products, together with the current challenges and future opportunities are discussed. This critical review will greatly increase the understanding of electrochemical C–N coupling reactions, and thus attract research interest in the fixation of carbon and nitrogen.
