The article describes a clinical case of heart disease and kidney disease in a captive churuco monkey at the Los Ocarros biopark in Colombia. The monkey presented symptoms such as lack of appetite and weakness, and was administered treatments such as Oxytetracycline and Belamyl R. Clinical and diagnostic tests were performed, revealing cardiomegaly, heart failure, and kidney disease. Despite the treatment, the monkey died due to systemic multiorgan failure. The necropsy revealed congestive heart failure and chronic renal failure as possible causes of death. [Extracted from the article]
