The study was conducted in Department of Horticulture and Landscape, College of Agriculture - Kirkuk University during the spring season of 2022 to study the influence of foliar spray with Brassinolide and salt stress on some vegetative growth characters and yield of active substance of marjoram., the experiment which included two factors, the first is Brassinolide growth regulator at four concentration (0.1, 0.2, 0.3) g.L -1 while the second is adding NaCl (0,10, 5, 15) gm. L-1 . The experiment was designed according to the randomized complete block design (R.C.B.D), with three replications and three plants for experimental unite. The results showed that the superior Brassinolide with a concentration of 0.3 mg. L-1 in number of branches, total chlorophyll, fresh weight, and dry matter (15.96) 18.28 mg. 1gm-1, (71.19%) respectively, while NaCl did not show any significance for all traits compared to control treatment. As for the interaction, the treatment (0.3gm.l-1 Brassinolide + 0gm.l- 1 Nacl) gave a high significant in the number of branches, dry matter 15.96 and 71.19, respectively, while the treatment (0.2 g.l-1 Brassinolide + 5 g.l-1 ) excelled in total chlorophyll fresh weight. A trial was conducted to investigate the possibility to grow tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa L.) from cormels and to improve the quality characteristics of the produced corms and their lycorine alkaloid content under environmental conditions of Salah El-Din governorate, Iraq. In addition, this trial addressed the problem of neglecting cormels and aimed to grow, develop and take advantage of them to produce appropriate sizes for flowering by applying different fertilization treatments. This open field experiment was carried out as a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replicates in a private garden in the district of Sharqat, Salah El-Din governorate, Iraq during the agricultural season of 2020/2021. Two factors were applied in this experiment, the first one included fertilizing with humic acid at different levels (0, 1.5, 3 g l-1), while the second one was allocated for fertilizing with phosphorus at different levels (0, 1, 2, 4 g l-1) and their interaction. The results showed that humic acid at 3 g l-1 produced the highest values in terms of leaf length (51.11 cm), leaf area (703.23 cm² plant-1), total chlorophyll contents in leaves (41.05 SPAD), corms diameter (27.87 mm), weight (18.41 g) and volume (16.89 cm³), number of cormels (10.88 corm-1), lycorine content (119.23 µg g-1). Regarding phosphorus fertilization, phosphorus at 4 g l-1 resulted in the highest values in case of leaf length (50.32 cm), leaf area (609.51 cm² plant-1), corms diameter (28.07 mm), weight (17.87 g) and volume (18.83 cm³), number of cormels (10.88 corm-1), lycorine content (117.96 µg g-1). Control plants (without fertilization) on the other hand, resulted in the lowest values for all studied traits. Combined treatment including humic acid at 3 g-1 + phosphorus at 4 g-1 resulted in the highest values for all studied traits. These results indicate the importance of applying the combined fertilization with humic acid and phosphorus for farmers and growers regarding the process of producing tuberose lily corms from cormels.
