In order to clarify the relationship among nutritional quality of highland barley flour, processing quality and edible quality of noodles, the flour of 21 highland barley varieties in Qinghai Province was used as raw the materials. The key indexes for evaluating the suitability of highland barley noodle processing were screened out through correlation analysis and cluster analysis to construct an evaluation system for the suitability of highland barley noodle processing. The results showed that the contents of starch, fat, the fiber and the protein of highland barley flour were 69.95%~83.36%, 0.87%~2.38%, 1.13%~3.69%, and 6.88%~11.64%, respectively. Beiqing No. 8 (gate) had the highest peak viscosity (2 378.50 mPa·s), and Kunlun No. 15 (Dulan) had the highest regeneration value (756.00 mPa·s). Kunlun No. 16 (Guinan) had the best water holding capacity (4.32 g/g), and Chai Qing No. 1 (Dulan) had the highest oil holding capacity (0.94 g/g). Kunlun No. 14 (Guide) had the largest solubility (27.46%), and Kunlun No. 15 (Dulan) had the largest expansion (9.15%). Kunlun No. 18 (gate) had the greatest transparency (28.40%), and freeze-thaw stability was the largest (77.16%). The nutritional quality and processing characteristics of highland barley noodles were significantly related to the cooking quality and texture characteristics of noodles, flour water content, total starch content, resistant starch content, flour L* value and peak viscosity were the key indicators to evaluate the suitability of highland barley noodle processing. Through the construction of processing suitability evaluation system, the evaluation level of highland barley noodle processing suitability was determined. Beiqing No. 9 (Xining), Kunlun No. 14 (Xining), Kunlun No. 17 (Menyuan), Chai Qing No. 1 (Guinan) were screened out, while Kunlun No. 14 (Guinan), Kunlun No. 15 (Guinan) and other 6 highland barley flours were suitable for processing into highland barley noodles. The results of this study could provide a theoretical basis for the selection of raw materials for processing highland barley noodles.

Objective To explore the status and factors influencing the intrinsic capacity of hospitalized elderly patients, in order to provide a reference for further activity to maintain the function of the elderly and improve the outcome. Methods Using a convenience sampling method, 264 elderly patients admitted to the geriatric ward from March 2020 to April 2022 were selected as the study population, and the WHO-recommended intrinsic capacity assessment tool, the Geriatric Index of Comorbidity (GIC) and the General Information Questionnaire were applied to analyze the status and factors influencing the intrinsic capacity of hospitalized elderly patients. Results The intrinsic capacity score of 264 elderly patients was 2. 0 (2. 0, 3. 0), and 94. 32%(249/263) of elderly inpatients had a decrease in at least one dimension of intrinsic capacity. There were differences in age, marital status, residence status, and number of GIC diseases and GIC-disease burden among elderly inpatients with different status of intrinsic capacity in univariate analysis (P < 0. 05). Logistic regression analysis suggested that age (OR=0. 904, 95% CI: 0. 869 to 0. 941) and residence status (OR=0. 254, 95% CI: 0. 092 to 0. 700) were independent influences on the intrinsic capacity of hospitalized elderly patients. Conclusion Intrinsic capacity impairment in hospitalized elderly patients is common. Age and residential status are influential factors in the intrinsic capacity of hospitalized elderly patients. Although multi-morbidity in older adults is correlated to intrinsic capacity to some extent, but it is not an independent influence of intrinsic capacity. (目的 探讨住院老年患者内在能力现状及影响因素, 为进一步采取积极措施维持老年人功能和改善预后提供参考依据。方法 采用便利抽样的方法, 选取2020年3月—2022年4月入住医院老年医学病房的264例老年患者作为研究对象, 应用WHO推荐的内在能力评估工具、老年人共病指数(GIC)及一般资料问卷进行调查, 分析住院老年患者的内在能力现状及影响因素。结果 264例老年患者的内在能力得分为2. 0(2. 0, 3. 0), 有94. 32%(249/263)的老年住院患者存在至少1个维度的内在能力下降。单因素分析中内在能力不同状态的老年住院患者之间年龄、婚姻状况、居住情况及GIC疾病数目与GIC疾病负担存在差异(P＜0. 05)。Logistics回归分析提示年龄(OR=0. 904, 95%CI: 0. 869～0. 941)及居住情况(OR=0. 254, 95%CI: 0. 092～0. 700)是住院老年患者内在能力的独立影响因素。结论 住院老年患者内在能力下降的情况普遍存在。年龄和居住情况是住院老年患者内在能力的影响因素。虽然老年人多病共存在一定程度上与内在能力具有相关性, 但并非内在能力的独立影响因素。)

BACKGROUND Black shale series is an important carrier of many useful elements. Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Mo, V, U, Au, Ag, rare and REE elements were abnormally enriched in the black rock series. The noble metal elements (PGE, Au, Ag) in some black shale series are also anomalously enriched, even partially exceeding the basic and ultrabasic rocks. However, the occurrence of PGE in such black shale series is still an unsolved problem. OBJECTIVES In order to clarify the occurrence of noble metal elements, Mo-Ni deposits in the black shale of the Niutitang Formation of the Cambrian system in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, were collected as research samples. METHODS The heavy placer classification, chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy and energy disperse spectroscopy were used to study the occurrence of noble metal elements. RESULTS Chemical analysis showed that:Pt 531×10-9, Pd 514×10-9, Os 185×10-9, PGEs 1259.43×10-9, Au 332×10-9, Ag 12.2×10-6. These precious metals were concentration in ore-formation. CONCLUSIONS 1) Silver exists mainly as independent minerals, a small amount exist as isomorphism in other minerals. Independent minerals include:novakite, polybasite, andorite, dyscrasite, canfieldite, marrite, hocartite, argentite, Ag-Sn-Sb intergrowth compounds. The isomorphism is mainly freibergite-Ag-tennantite, silver-bearing galena and silver-bearing domeykite. 2) Native gold doesn't exist as independent mineral and is also not adsorbed by carbon. Meanwhile, pyrite was an important gold-bearing mineral. 3) PGEs do not exist as independent minerals and are no longer enrichment in different classification sample. It is speculated that PGE minerals are likely to exist in nanometer form. It is suggested that the application of nanomaterials can be considered in the future study of mineral processing.

The Huili Pt-Pd deposit in Sichuan Province is an independent platinum element ore deposit. In some ore sections, the contents of Pt and Pd have reached industrial grade. It is necessary to understand the occurrence of platinum group elements and characteristics of platinum group minerals. However, due to the low-grade platinum group elements (PGEs) in raw ore, chemical analysis is an indirect research method for the occurrence of platinum group elements, and the conclusion is thus not complete. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) were used to observe the inbuilt state, particle size, morphology characteristics, and the occurrence of the platinum group minerals. Results show that the PGEs in the deposit are mainly composed of pure Pt and Pd. The contents of Rh, Ir, Ru, and Os are very low, and the independent minerals composed of these four elements are undetected. Pt and Pd can exist in the form of simple substance elements and compounds with As, Te, Sb, Bi. There were 17 kinds of platinum group minerals, including Pt, As-Pt, As-Pd-Pt/As-Pt-Pd, and Pd-Pt-Cu/Pt-Pd-Cu. The pure Pt and the remaining Pt group minerals are found locally. The platinum group minerals have two kinds of inbuilt states, wrapped (52.39%) and intergranular (47.62%). Crystals of platinum group minerals are mainly xenomorphic granular, 1.36-32.7 μm, with a large range of particle sizes. The micropore structure, grapy structure and girdle zone can be found in some mineral crystals. The contact mode is mainly curve contact, followed by linear contact. These results provide a scientific basis for the platinum group minerals in beneficiation-metallurgy and resource evaluation.

In this study, we established a new methodology for preparing 5-nucleotidase (5-NT) with the aim of enhancing our understanding of its enzyme activity and laying a basis for regulating the content of umami-enhancing nucleotides in pork. 5-NT was prepared with Sephadex gel filtration and reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography, and its enzymatic properties and catalytic activity were evaluated. The results show that the molecular weight of the prepared 5-NT was 57 kDa, the optimal catalytic temperature was 40 °C, and the optimal pH was 8. Zn2+, and sucrose showed inhibitory effects on the activity of 5-NT, while K+, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, glucose, fructose, and trehalose promoted the activity of the studied compound. The prepared 5-NT exhibited higher catalytic activity and selectivity against IMP compared with its commercial counterpart, while its catalytic activity against XMP was not significant (p > 0.05). In brief, we established a new methodology for preparing 5-NT, enhancing our understanding of its enzyme activity and providing a solid basis for regulating the content of umami-enhancing nucleotides in pork through the control of endogenous 5-NT activity.

The Tangjiaping molybdenum deposit, discovered in 2006, is a large-scale porphyry molybdenum deposit. The studies of its basic geological work and metallogenic regularity have been completed by previous researchers with conventional geological methods. The results showed that the Tangjiaping molybdenum deposit belongs to the plutonic hypabyssal porphyry molybdenum deposit and the Tangjiaping granodiorite porphyry molybdenum mineralization acts as a mother rock mining area. However, there is no proof that the metallogenic regularity is from the perspective of mineralogy. From the mineralogy angle four kinds of typomorphic characteristics (chemical composition, trace elements, crystal structure, lattice parameters, structure etc.) of molybdenite, pyrite, quartz, and feldspar from the Tangjiaping molybdenum mine were studied using the separation of single mineral to chemical analysis, X-ray Diffraction and rock mineral identification technology. The results are: ① the mining area of molybdenite is 2H type, and the content of Re component is very low; the δ34S of molybdenite values is 3.0‰; sulfur isotopic changes in a small range close to the meteorite sulfur with the characteristics of deep source sulfur, indicating that the sulphur is derived from the granite porphyry. ② pyrite is rich in trace elements Mo, Co, Cu, poor Ni, Pb, Zn, in addition, low content of Ag and Au, S/Se is greater than 250000, which is consistent with the 'S/Se more than 250000-500000 area could not find gold' conclusion. ③ quartz is rich in Mo. δ18O in mineralization quartz veins are lower, showing a small amount of precipitation appeared in the hydrothermal alteration during the later mineralization. ④ feldspar is rich in Mo. Light rare earth (La-Nd) content is higher than that of rare earth (Sm-Ho) content and heavy rare earth (Er-Y) content. Potassium feldspar degree of ordering, triclinic and structure parameter values were higher. Potassium feldspar structure at low temperature, shows that the potassium feldspar in this area is triclinic symmetry microcline at low temperature conditions, and it is the product of hydrothermal activity; rock potash feldspathization characteristics of molybdenum mineralization is the most favorable. The Tangjiaping molybdenum deposit therefore belongs to the plutonic hypabyssal porphyry molybdenum deposit, and this paper has important significance for the summarization of porphyry type molybdenum ore metallogenic regularity and prospecting marks.

Abstract The aim of this study was to elucidate the regulatory role of androgen in the follicular development of wild female ground squirrels. Immunohistochemical staining of FSHR, LHR, P450c17, P450arom, androgen receptor (AR), estrogen receptors (ERa and ERb) were executed in ovaries of female ground squirrels from both breeding and nonbreeding seasons. In addition, total ovarian proteins were extracted from the ovaries of squirrels from breeding and nonbreeding seasons, and Western blot analysis were performed in order to probe for FSHR, LHR, P450c17, P450arom, AR, ERa and ERb. The results of immunohistochemical staining and Western blotting of P450c17 showed that there was no significant difference between the breeding and nonbreeding seasons. It was found that granulosa cells expressed P450arom during the breeding season. In contrast, there was no positive staining of P450arom in the nonbreeding season. There was no significant difference in immunoreactivity of AR between the breeding and nonbreeding seasons. However, the immunoreactivities of ERa and ERb were both significantly reduced in the nonbreeding season compared to the breeding season. The positive stains of FSHR and LHR were found in the granulosa cells and theca cells of the ovaries of the breeding and nonbreeding seasons. In addition, the Western blotting results of FSHR and LHR showed a significant reduction in the nonbreeding season compared with the breeding season. These findings suggested that androgen might be predominantly converted into estrogen in order to regulate the follicular development via binding of estrogen receptors during the breeding season, whereas androgen might predominantly directly bind androgen receptor to regulate the follicular development during the nonbreeding season in the ovaries of wild female ground squirrels.

Abstract Background Laparoscopy-assisted surgery, fast-track perioperative treatment are both increasingly used in colorectal cancer treatment, for their short-time benefits of enhanced recovery and short hospital stays. However, the benefits of the integration of the Laparoscopy-assisted surgery, fast-track perioperative treatment, and even with the Xelox chemotherapy, are still unknown. In this study, the three treatments integration is defined as "Fast Track Multi-Discipline Treatment Model" for colorectal cancer and this model extends the benefits to the whole treatment process of colorectal cancer. The main purpose of the study is to explore the feasibility of "Fast Track Multi-Discipline Treatment" model in treatment of colorectal cancer. Methods The trial is a prospective randomized controlled study with 2 × 2 balanced factorial design. Patients eligible for the study will be randomized to 4 groups: (I) Laparoscopic surgery with fast track perioperative treatment and Xelox chemotherapy; (II) Open surgery with fast track perioperative treatment and Xelox chemotherapy; (III) Laparoscopic surgery with conventional perioperative treatment and mFolfox6 chemotherapy; (IV) Open surgery with conventional perioperative treatment and mFolfox6 chemotherapy. The primary endpoint of this study is the hospital stays. The secondary endpoints are the quality of life, chemotherapy related adverse events, surgical complications and hospitalization costs. Totally, 340 patients will be enrolled with 85 patients in each group. Conclusions The study initiates a new treatment model "Fast Track Multi-Discipline Treatment" for colorectal cancer, and will provide feasibility evidence on the new model "Fast Track Multi-Discipline Treatment" for patients with colorectal cancer.
