1, 4, 5, 8‐naphthalene diimide (NDI)‐based MOFs, due to their tunable structures and properties, have shown promising applications in photochromism, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, photothermal therapy, etc. Herein, using an L‐alanine modified NDI ligand, i.e. N, N′‐bis(L‐alanine)naphthalenediimide (AlaNDI), a novel Cd‐NDI Cd (AlaNDI)(H2O)]·DMF·H2O (complex 1) was constructed under solvothermal conditions, which has an obvious different structure with the previously reported ones. Structural analysis shows that the packing structure of complex 1 consists of two adjacent Cd atoms sharing two AlaNDI ligands, forming a dimetallic building block [Cd2O8]. Each building block connects a total of four AlaNDI ligands, where two Cd atoms are bridged by two ligands. The building blocks are interconnected by ligands to form a two‐dimensional layered structure. Based on the features of the NDI skeleton, it was found that complex 1 possesses multiple stimulus responses involving sensitivity to light: a reversible photochromism property and good photocatalytic degradation activity against various dyes, especially against cationic dyes crystal violet (CV), methyl violet (MV), and Janus green B (JGB). Under consideration is a new discrete coupled Ablowitz–Ladik equation with a time-dependent coefficient. Firstly, the continuum limit technique is used to correspond this discrete equation to two continuous variable coefficient equations. Secondly, the modulation instability on plane wave solutions is used to study the formation mechanism of diverse localized waves. Thirdly, the discrete generalized (m , N - m) -fold Darboux transformation is established and extended to solve this discrete equation. Finally, as an application of the resulting generalized Darboux transformation, abundant localized wave solutions including rogue wave, period wave and mixed interaction solutions are analyzed and presented graphically. Compared with its corresponding constant coefficient discrete equation, this variable coefficient equation has more abundant rogue wave structures, and it is found that a fundamental rogue wave can be split into two fundamental rogue waves through choosing time-dependent function and different control parameters. Background and aims: Ridge and furrow technology is widely used to increase yields in Northwest China, where the focus is primarily on ridge cropping or furrow planting. However, the effects of ridge and furrow configuration (planting both on ridges and in furrows) on soil water and temperature, maize canopy structure and grain yield are still not clear. Methods: A 2-year (2015–2016) field experiment was conducted to investigate the regulatory effects of different planting systems [conventional flat planting (CK), ridge and furrow configuration with two rows of plants in both ridges and furrows (R2F2), and with three rows in ridges and two rows in furrows (R3F2)] on soil water and temperature, canopy traits, grain yield and resource use efficiency. Results: Soil hydrothermal environment and canopy structure were improved under ridge and furrow configuration, but did not cause excessive water consumption. Compared with CK, ridge and furrow configuration showed a greater advantage in water and temperature allocation, which increased leaf area index (LAI), photosynthetic capacity per plant and dry matter accumulation in furrows. Additionally, ridge and furrow systems represented a higher canopy light transmission rate to bottom layers, which contributed to more light interception capacity for plants. In comparison with CK, grain yield of R2F2 and R3F2 significantly improved by 20.5% and 12.4%, water use efficiency improved by 26.2% and 20.1%, and radiation use efficiency improved by 28.2% and 17.8%, respectively. Objective: To systematically review and meta-analyze the efficacy and safety of salvage endoscopy for residual or recurrence of colorectal tumors after endoscopic resection. Methods: Multiple databases including PubMed, EMBASE and the Cochrane Library were searched to screen for eligible studies and perform data extraction and pooled analysis. Results: Sixteen studies on salvage endoscopy for residual or recurrent colorectal cancer after endoscopic resection were included, covering approximately 994 patients. The results of the meta-analysis demonstrated that salvage endoscopic therapy for residual or recurrent colorectal tumors following endoscopic resection achieved an en bloc resection rate of 92% (95% CI 0.85–0.97; I2 = 91%) and an R0 resection rate of 82% (95% CI 0.75–0.87; I2 = 78%). The rates of intraoperative or postoperative bleeding and perforation were 10%/1% and 5%/2%, and the recurrence rate was 2%. This study aims to optimize the performance of silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic bearings in high-temperature and heavy-duty environments and to address the issues of insufficient lubrication and heat generation in vacuum environments. To this end, we prepared diamond and MoS2-TiN composite films on silicon nitride ceramic substrates using a hot-wire chemical vapor deposition system and a physical vapor deposition system. The experimental results show that increasing the deposition time of the diamond films can significantly improve their hardness and elastic modulus, enhance the bonding of the films with the substrate, reduce the friction coefficient, and increase the thermal conductivity. Furthermore, by appropriately reducing the sputtering power of the MoS2 film, we can effectively minimize damage to the diamond film and further enhance the overall performance of the composite film. Circadian rhythm (24-hour period of physiological and behavioral changes) is the basis of the overall health, including mood and health. This study aimed to explore the influence of circadian rhythm and sleep schedules on depressive symptoms in Chinese adolescents. In this cross-sectional study, 841 middle school students were recruited and divided into two groups (depressive group, DG, n = 210, and control group, n = 631) depending on the total score of The Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale for Children (CES-DC). The circadian rhythm and sleep quality among adolescents were evaluated by using the Biological Rhythms Interview of Assessment in Neuropsychiatry (BRIAN) and Self-rating scale of Sleep (SRSS) scales. Furthermore, correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis were used to determine the effects of demographic factors, sleeping arrangement, sleep quality, and circadian rhythm on depressive symptoms. The DG group’s CES-DC, BRIAN and SRSS scores were significantly higher than the control group’s. Higher scores of BRIAN and SRSS were risk factors for depressive symptoms in Chinese adolescents. Attending a day school and waking up later on weekends may be weak protective factors. Our results suggest that circadian rhythm disturbance, sleep quality, and sleeping arrangement have a significant influence on depressive symptoms among adolescents in China. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Rainfall nowcasting is the basis of extreme rainfall monitoring, flood prevention, and water resource scheduling. Based on the structural features of the U-Net model, we proposed the Double Recurrent Residual Attention Gates U-Net (DR2A-UNet) deep-learning model to carry out radar echo extrapolation. The model was trained with mean square error (MSE) and balanced mean square error (BMSE) as loss functions, respectively. The dynamic Z-R relationship was applied for quantitative rainfall estimation. The reference U-Net model, U-Net++, and the ConvLSTM were used as control experiments to carry out radar echo extrapolation. The results showed that the model trained by BMSE had better extrapolation. For 1 h lead time, the rainfall nowcasted by each model could reflect the actual rainfall process. DR2A-UNet performed significantly better than other models for intense rainfall, with a higher extrapolation accuracy for echo intensity and variability processes. At the 2 h lead time, the nowcast accuracy of each model was significantly reduced, but the echo extrapolation and rainfall nowcasting of DR2A-UNet were better. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: One of the most prevalent illnesses of the shoulder is rotator cuff tendinosis, which is also a major contributor to shoulder discomfort and shoulder joint dysfunction. According to statistics, rotator cuff tendinosis occurs in 0.3–5.5% of cases and affects 0.5–7.4% of people annually. It will be necessary to conduct a meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy of hypertonic glucose proliferation therapy in the treatment of rotator cuff problems. Methods: The databases Cochrane PubMed, Library, Web of Science and EMbase, are retrieved by the computer. Individuals with rotator cuff lesions in the intervention group were treated with hypertonic dextrose proliferation therapy, whereas individuals in the control condition were treated with a placebo. Outcome markers for rotator cuff lesions patients; Pursuant to studies, the visual analogue scale (VAS) score, the shoulder pain & disability index (SPADI), & other metrics are used to evaluate the effects of hypertonic dextrose proliferation treatment on individuals with rotator cuff diseases. After carefully evaluating the calibre of the literature, data analysis was performed utilising the RevMan 5.3 programme. Results: Meta-analysis finally contained 6 papers. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that individuals with rotator cuff injuries may benefit from hypertonic dextrose proliferation treatment based on the visual analogue scale (VAS) score, the Shoulder Pain and Disability Index (SPADI) score, Flexion, & Abduction. Based on numerical weather prediction model Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) and Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS), a coupling model is constructed in Taihang Piedmont basin. The WRF model parameter scheme combinations composed of microphysics, planetary boundary layers, and cumulus parameterizations suitable for the study area are optimized. In both time and space, we tested the effects of the WRF model by a multi-index evaluation system composed of relative error, root meantime square error, probability of detection, false alarm ratio, and critical success index and established this system in two stages. A multi-attribute decision-making model based on Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution and grey correlation degree is proposed to optimize each parameter scheme. Among 18 parameter scheme combinations, Mellor-Yamada-Janjic, Grell-Devinji, Purdue-Lin, Betts-Miller-Janjić, and Single-Moment6 are ideal choices according to the simulation performance in both time and space. Using the unidirectional coupling method, the rolling rainfall forecast results of the WRF model in the 24 h and 48 h forecast periods are input to HEC-HMS hydrological model to simulate three typical floods. Prenylated hydroquinones are the main meroterpenoids found in fungal species of the genus Ganoderma. A new prenylated hydroquinone ganocalidin G (1) was isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma calidophilum. The structure of compound 1 was identified based on 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy as well as MS. Its absolute structure was elucidated from optical rotation calculation. N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most abundant mRNA modification within mammalian cells, holding pivotal significance in the regulation of mRNA stability, translation and splicing. Furthermore, it plays a critical role in the regulation of RNA degradation by primarily recruiting the YTHDF2 reader protein. However, the selective regulation of mRNA decay of the m6A-methylated mRNA through YTHDF2 binding is poorly understood. To improve our understanding, we developed m6A-BERT-Deg, a BERT model adapted for predicting YTHDF2-mediated degradation of m6A-methylated mRNAs. We meticulously assembled a high-quality training dataset by integrating multiple data sources for the HeLa cell line. To overcome the limitation of small training samples, we employed a pre-training-fine-tuning strategy by first performing a self-supervised pre-training of the model on 427 760 unlabeled m6A site sequences. The test results demonstrated the importance of this pre-training strategy in enabling m6A-BERT-Deg to outperform other benchmark models. We further conducted a comprehensive model interpretation and revealed a surprising finding that the presence of co-factors in proximity to m6A sites may disrupt YTHDF2-mediated mRNA degradation, subsequently enhancing mRNA stability. Introduction: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a preferred treatment option for superficial esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (SESCC). However, only few studies compared long-term survival outcomes of ESD with surgery, especially for T1b SESCC. This study compared the overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DSS), recurrence-free survival (RFS), and complication rates of both, to evaluate the value of ESD in patients with T1b SESCC. Methods: We reviewed patients who underwent ESD (n = 47) or surgery (n = 73) for T1b SESCC at Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from 2009 to 2021. To increase the precision of our results interpretation, subgroups were analyzed according to the depth of tumor invasion and elderly people. Results: In the ESD and surgery groups, the overall mortality rates were 0/100 and 12.3/100 person years, incidence rates of recurrence were 2.13/100 and 11/100 person years, respectively. Kaplan–Meier survival analysis revealed no significant different in OS, DSS and RFS. Charlson comorbidity index (CCI) and depth of submucosal invasion were identified as risk factors for cancer recurrence in multivariate analysis. For elderly people, no significant differences were found in OS, DSS and RFS between different treatments. Conclusion: ESD are related to lower complication rates and shorter hospital stay than surgery in long-term outcomes for patients with pT1b SESCC. Non‐fullerene acceptors (NFAs) have recently emerged as pivotal materials for enhancing the efficiency of organic solar cells (OSCs). To further advance OSC efficiency, precise control over the energy levels of NFAs is imperative, necessitating the development of a robust computational method for accurate energy level predictions. Unfortunately, conventional computational techniques often yield relatively large errors, typically ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 electronvolts (eV), when predicting energy levels. In this study, the authors present a novel method that not only expedites energy level predictions but also significantly improves accuracy , reducing the error margin to 0.06 eV. The method comprises two essential components. The first component involves data cleansing, which systematically eliminates problematic experimental data and thereby minimizes input data errors. The second component introduces a molecular description method based on the electronic properties of the sub‐units comprising NFAs. The approach simplifies the intricacies of molecular computation and demonstrates markedly enhanced prediction performance compared to the conventional density functional theory (DFT) method. Our methodology will expedite research in the field of NFAs, serving as a catalyst for the development of similar computational approaches to address challenges in other areas of material science and molecular research. Drought stress is one of the main environmental factors limiting plant growth and development. Plants adapt to changing soil moisture by modifying root architecture, inducing stomatal closure, and inhibiting shoot growth. The AP2/ERF transcription factor DREB2A plays a key role in maintaining plant growth in response to drought stress, but the molecular mechanism underlying this process remains to be elucidated. Here, it was found that overexpression of MdDREB2A positively regulated nitrogen utilisation by interacting with DRE cis‐elements of the MdNIR1 promoter. Meanwhile, MdDREB2A could also directly bind to the promoter of MdSWEET12, which may enhance root development and nitrogen assimilation, ultimately promoting plant growth. Overall, this regulatory mechanism provides an idea for plants in coordinating with drought tolerance and nitrogen assimilation to maintain optimal plant growth and development under drought stress. Summary statement: In this study, it was found that MdDREB2A positively regulated nitrogen utilisation by interacting with the promoter of the nitrite reductase gene MdNIR1. In this work, a novel Orthosilicate-Orthophosphate structure phosphor K 1- x (BaSr) (1+ x)/2 (Si x P 1 -x)O 4 : Eu2+ (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) with superior quantum efficiency and excellent thermal stability was designed for the application of next-generation high-power white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs). The Rietveld refinement shows the isotopic co-substitution of P5+ and K+ for Si4+ and Ba2+/Sr2+, generating a continuous change of centroid shift and crystal field splitting, further contributing to tuneable light from blue to green emission. Moreover, the excellent quantum efficiency stems from the widened bandgap and the defect-associated electron traps. Using experimental and density functional theory calculation, we confirm the potential mechanism of enhanced thermal stability, in which the co-substitution-induced crystal size mismatch brings the trapped electrons to move from defect levels to a higher energy state (conduction band) and then continue radiative transition. Background: Currently, it is still largely unknown whether the proportion of calcium intake at breakfast and dinner is associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the general population. Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the association of dietary calcium intake at dinner versus breakfast with CVD in a nationally representative sample of US adults. Methods: The study population consisted of 36,164 US adults (including 4,040 CVD cases) from the NHANES 2003 to 2018. According to the ratio of dietary calcium intake at dinner and breakfast (Δ = dinner/breakfast), 36,164 participants were divided into five groups. After adjustment for a series of confounder factors, logistic regression analyses were performed to examine the association between Δ and CVD. Dietary substitution models were used to explore the changes in CVD risk when a 5% dietary calcium intake at dinner was substituted with dietary calcium intake at breakfast. Results: Compared with participants in the lowest quintile, participants in the highest quintile were more likely to have CVD, with an adjusted OR of CVD of 1.16 (95% CI, 1.03 to 1.31). When the total calcium intake remained constant, replacing a 5% dietary calcium intake at dinner with dietary calcium intake at breakfast was associated with a 6% lower risk of CVD. Conclusions: Compared to the lowest quintile of Δ, participants in the highest quintile of Δ were likely to experience CVD in the general population. Cu is doped to La 4 Ni 3 O 10±δ to improve its electrochemical performance as a potential intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cell (IT-SOFC) cathode material. A new higher-order Ruddlesden-Popper (R-P) phase composition La 4 Ni 3-x Cu x O 10±δ , (L 4 N 3-x C x , 0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.7) is synthesized using an EDTA-citrate process. The L 4 N 3-x C x cathode has a good chemical compatibility with the La 0.9 Sr 0.1 Ga 0.8 Mg 0.2 O 3-δ (LSGM) electrolyte. A thermodynamic stability test shows that L 4 N 3-x C x is stable after 72 h exposure to 600, 700, and 800 °C in air. The L 4 N 3-x C x cathode shows chemical stability against CO 2 , and a stable structure over 12 h in CO 2 has been demonstrated. The thermal expansion coefficients (TECs) have been determined to be in the range of 14.1–14.6 × 10−6 K−1, close to that of the LSGM electrolyte. The Cu content (x) significantly affects the electrical conductivity and sinter density of L 4 N 3-x C x. La 4 Ni 2.7 Cu 0.3 O 10 (L 4 N 2.7 C 0.3) displays the highest electrical conductivity value of which reaches about 383 to 319 S cm−1 at 600–800 °C. In addition, Cu doping improves the electrochemical performance of L 4 N 3-x C x. The area specific resistance (ASR) of the La 4 Ni 2.5 Cu 0.5 O 10 (L 4 N 2.5 C 0.5) cathode was found to be 0.045 Ω cm2 at 800 °C, which is significantly better than that of L 4 N 3. The peak power density of a single cell using the L 4 N 2.5 C 0.5 cathode is 526 mW cm−2 at 800 °C, and a 200 h long-term test demonstrates good stability. These results indicate that La 4 Ni 3-x Cu x O 10±δ cathode is a promising cathode material for IT-SOFCs. • A novel higher-order Ruddlesden-Popper L 4 N 3-x C x is prepared. • The substitution of Cu for Ni greatly improved the electrical conductivity of the L 4 N 3-x C x. • L 4 N 3-x C x exhibits good CO 2 -tolerant and phase stability. • Cu-doped L 4 N 3-x C x exhibits higher catalytic activity. The study of topological phases with unconventional bulk‐boundary correspondences and nontrivial real Chern number has garnered significant attention in the topological states of matter. Using the first‐principle calculations and theoretical analysis, a high‐throughput material screening of the 3D obstructed atomic insulators (OAIs) and 3D real Chern insulators (RCIs) based on the Samara Carbon Allotrope Database (SACADA) are performed. Results show that 422 out of 703 3D carbon allotropes are 3D OAIs with multiple bulk‐boundary correspondences, including 2D obstructed surface states (OSSs) and 1D hinge states, which are in 1D and 2Ds lower than the 3D bulk, respectively. The 2D OSSs in these OAIs can be modified when subjected to appropriate boundaries, which benefits the investigation of surface engineering and the development of efficient topological catalysts. These 422 OAIs, which have 2D and 1D boundary states, are excellent platforms for multi‐dimensional topological boundaries research. Remarkably, 138 of 422 OAIs are also 3D RCIs, which show a nontrivial real topology in the protection of spacetime inversion symmetry. This work not only provides a comprehensive list of 3D carbon‐based OAIs and RCIs, but also guides their application in various aspects based on multiple bulk‐boundary correspondences and real topological phases. • The pain-related network exhibits abnormalities in GAD with pain symptoms. • Pain symptoms in GAD are linked to an increase in regional homogeneity within the left anterior insula. • The thalamus exhibits a decrease in gray matter volume, correlating with somatic symptoms in GAD. Pain symptoms significantly impact the well-being and work capacity of individuals with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and hinder treatment and recovery. Despite existing literature focusing on the neural substrate of pain and anxiety separately, further exploration is needed to understand the possible neuroimaging mechanisms of the pain symptoms in GAD patients. We recruited 73 GAD patients and 75 matched healthy controls (HC) for clinical assessments, as well as resting-state functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging scans. We defined a pain-related network through a published meta-analysis, including the insula, thalamus, periaqueductal gray, prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, amygdala, and hippocampus. Subsequently, we conducted the regional homogeneity (ReHo) and the gray matter volume (GMV) within the pain-related network. Correlation analysis was then employed to explore associations between abnormal regions and self-reported outcomes, assessed using the Patient Health Questionnaire-15 (PHQ-15) and pain scores. We observed significantly increased ReHo in the bilateral insula but decreased GMV in the bilateral thalamus of GAD compared to HC. Further correlation analysis revealed a positive correlation between ReHo of the left anterior insula and pain scores in GAD patients, while a respective negative correlation between GMV of the bilateral thalamus and PHQ-15 scores. In summary, GAD patients exhibit structural and functional abnormalities in pain-related networks. Light-induced de-etiolation is an important aspect of seedling photomorphogenesis. GOLDEN2 LIKE (GLK) transcriptional regulators are involved in chloroplast development, but to what extent they participate in photomorphogenesis is not clear. Here, we show that ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL5 (HY5) binds to GLK promoters to activate their expression, and also interacts with GLK proteins in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana). The chlorophyll content in the de-etiolating Arabidopsis seedlings of the hy5 glk2 double mutants was lower than that in the hy5 single mutant. GLKs inhibited hypocotyl elongation, and the phenotype could superimpose on the hy5 phenotype. Correspondingly, GLK2 regulated the expression of photosynthesis and cell elongation genes partially independent of HY5. Before exposure to light, DE-ETIOLATED 1 (DET1) affected accumulation of GLK proteins. The enhanced etioplast development and photosystem gene expression observed in the det1 mutant were attenuated in the det1 glk2 double mutant. Our study reveals that GLKs act downstream of HY5, or additive to HY5, and are likely quantitatively adjusted by DET1, to orchestrate multiple developmental traits during the light-induced skotomorphogenesis-to-photomorphogenesis transition in Arabidopsis. Purpose: Weight cycling is a phenomenon characterized by fluctuating body weight that is commonly observed in individuals employing intentional weight loss methods. Despite its prevalence, the impact of weight cycling on health remains equivocal. The current investigation aimed to examine the effects of weight cycling on liver health. Methods: The weight cycling model was established by switching the feeding method of mice between ad libitum (AL) and restricted intake (DR or 60% of AL) of the breeding diet to cause weight gain and weight loss, respectively. The weight cycling model comprised two and a half cycles, with one group terminating the experience during the weight-gain period (S-AL) and the other during the weight-loss period (S-DR). Liver tissue was collected to investigate morphology alterations, apoptosis, lipid metabolism, and mitochondrial homeostasis. Results: The results demonstrated that the termination point of weight cycling affected body weight and hepatic steatosis. All parameters examined in the S-DR mice exhibited a comparable trend to those observed in the DR mice. Notably, S-AL mice showed a significant increase in lipid metabolism-related proteins in the liver compared to AL-fed mice, along with reduced lipid droplets. Moreover, hepatic apoptosis and fibrosis were exacerbated in the S-AL mice compared to AL mice, whereas mitochondrial fusion, biogenesis, and mitophagy were decreased in the S-AL mice. Conclusion: Weight cycling ending in weight gain exacerbated hepatic fibrosis, potentially by inducing apoptosis or disrupting mitochondrial homeostasis. Electromagnetic radiation pollution has become increasingly serious in the electronic, industrial, civil, and military fields. Lightweight, flexible, and high-performance electromagnetic shielding films have recently become popular research topics. Herein, regenerated cellulose (RC) was used as the matrix, multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs) and Fe3O4 nanoparticles were used as fillers, the sandwich-structured composite films (SCFs) containing MWCNTs/RC film as the surface layer and Fe3O4/RC film as the interlayer were successfully prepared via immersion phase conversion and mechanical pressing methods. SCFs exhibited a conductivity of 2.0 S m−1 and an excellent electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of 25.6 dB, which were 147% and 32% higher than those of the monolayer composite films at the same filler contents, respectively. The shielding mechanism was mainly attributed to electromagnetic dual energy dissipation and a "reflection–absorption–reflection" effect of the sandwich structure on electromagnetic waves. Porous media reconstruction is quite significant in the fields of environmental supervision, oil and natural gas engineering, biomedicine and material engineering. The traditional numerical reconstruction methods such as multi-point statistics (MPS) are based on the statistical characteristics of training images (TIs), but the reconstruction quality may be unsatisfactory and the process is time-consuming. Recently, with the rapid development of deep learning, its powerful ability in predicting features has been used to reconstruct porous media. Generative adversarial network (GAN) is one of the generative methods of deep learning, which is derived from the two-person zero-sum game through the confrontation between the generator and discriminator. However, the traditional GAN cannot pay special attention to the effective features in learning, and the degradation problem easily occurs with the increase of layer numbers. Besides, high-resolution (HR) and large FOV (field of view) are usually contradictory for physical imaging equipment. Therefore, in practical experiments, due to the limitations of the resolution of imaging equipment and the sample size, it is difficult to obtain large-scale HR images of porous media physically. At this point, numerical super-resolution (SR) reconstruction seems to be a cost-efficient way. In this paper, residual networks and attention mechanisms are combined with single-image GAN (SinGAN), which can learn the structural characteristics of porous media from a low-resolution (LR) 3D image, and then reconstruct 3D HR or large-scale images of porous media. In this paper, a temperature-controlled angle selection device based on a photonic bandgap is proposed, consisting of MLC-6608 liquid crystal (MLC) and common electrolytes stacked in layers. This device has an angular transmission stability for electromagnetic waves over a wide frequency band (600–660 THz). A high transmissivity (T > 0.85) area, also called an angle window, is formed at 25 ° and 75 ° , and an area of zero transmissivity is formed beyond the angle window. The MLC is temperature-responsive, and the range of angle selection can be expanded or narrowed by temperature adjustment. When the MLC is replaced by the biological sample, it shows good sensing performance. Objective To understand the current status of knowledge and willingness of influenza vaccination among the unvaccinated elderly people in a southwestern city, and to analyze the factors affecting the willingness of influenza vaccination, so as to provide a basis for promoting the popularization of influenza vaccine. Methods A total of 600 elderly people aged 60 and above who were not vaccinated with influenza vaccine from October to December 2023 were surveyed on their knowledge and willingness to be vaccinated with influenza vaccine. Finally, 538 valid questionnaires were collected. Univariate analysis was carried out using t -test and %2 test, and logistic regression model was used to analyze influenza vaccination intention. Results In total 57.8% of the 538 elderly people were willing to be vaccinated against influenza. Specifically, 55.6% of the elderly "did not know or have not heard of the influenza vaccine", 53.2% of the elderly believed that "the influenza vaccine may not be effective", 67.5% of the elderly believed that "influenza vaccination would have side effects", and the estimated proportion of side effects was at 17.53% . The results of multivariate analysis of influenza vaccination willingness showed that people who had "general knowledge" (OR =2.464, 95% CI: 1.209-5.019, P=0.013) and who were "very knowledgeable" (OR=2.885, 95% CI: 1.112-7.485, P=0.029) were more likely to be vaccinated than those who had not heard of influenza vaccine. Compared with the "estimated proportion of influenza vaccination in people aged 60 and over < 20%" group, the "estimated vaccination ratio of 60% to 80%" group (OR=3.478, 95% CI=1.555-7.779, P=0.002), and the "estimated vaccination ratio =3 80%" group (OR=4.591, 95% CI =1.058-19.915, P=0.042) had higher willingness to vaccinate influenza vaccine. The higher the score of satisfaction with personal health, the lower the willingness to be vaccinated against influenza (OR=0.804, 95% CI =0.670-0.964, P=0.018). Conclusion The elderly people who have not been vaccinated with influenza vaccine in this area do not know enough about influenza and its vaccine, and the willingness of influenza vaccination is low, which needs to be improved urgently. In the event of a large-scale radiological accident, rapid and high-throughput biodosimetry is the most vital basis in medical resource allocation for the prompt treatment of victims. However, the current biodosimeter is yet to be rapid and high-throughput. Studies have shown that ionizing radiation modulates expressions of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in healthy human cell lines and tumor tissue. circRNA expressions can be quantified rapidly and high-throughput. However, whether circRNAs are suitable for early radiation dose classification remains unclear. We employed transcriptome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis to screen for radiation-differentially expressed circRNAs in the human lymphoblastoid cell line AHH-1 at 4 h following exposure to 0, 2, and 5 Gy 60Co γ-rays. The dose–response relationships between differentially expressed circRNA expressions and absorbed doses were investigated using real-time polymerase chain reaction and linear regression analysis at 4 h, 24 h, and 48 h post-exposure to 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 Gy. Six distinct dose classification models of circRNA panels were established and validated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. A total of 11 radiation-differentially expressed circRNAs were identified and validated. Based on dose–response effects, those circRNAs changed in a dose-responsive or dose-dependent manner were combined into panels A through F at 4 h, 24 h, and 48 h post-irradiation. ROC curve analysis showed that panels A through C had the potential to effectively classify exposed and non-exposed conditions, which area under the curve (AUC) of these three panels were all 1.000, and the associate p values were.009. Panels D through F excellently distinguished between different dose groups (AUC = 0.963–1.000, p <.05). Imines are vital intermediate chemicals applied in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, and materials science. It is desirable but challenging to explore a green photocatalytic system, especially solvent-free photocatalysis, for the synthesis of imines from amines with molecular oxygen as an oxidant under mild reaction conditions. In the present study, a ternary CdS/Ag/BiVO4 Z-heterojunction photocatalyst was designed and prepared for the photocatalytic oxidative coupling of benzylamine to N-benzylidenebenzylamine. Under solvent-free conditions, a yield of 92% of N-benzylidenebenzylamine with a selectivity of 99% was achieved over CdS/Ag/BiVO4 in neat benzylamine with dioxygen as an oxidant at room temperature and ambient pressure. In the Z-scheme electronic transmission system, CdS worked as a reductive photocatalyst, while BiVO4 acted as an oxidative photocatalyst. The oxygen vacancies in the catalyst and Ag nanoparticles in the catalyst with their plasmonic effect boosted light absorption, enhancing charge migration and photogenerated electron–hole separation on the contact interface. A photocatalytic mechanism was proposed based on controlled experiments. The catalyst exhibited good stability for five cycles, and the catalyst can be applied for the oxidative coupling of various amines to imines. The demand for green and non-toxic hair dyes has continued to grow in recent years as the majority of consumers prefer natural and healthy products. There are a series of pigments in nature that are used for color pigmentation and dyeing, such as melanin in animals and curcumin in plants. Accordingly, these nature-inspired novel hair dyes are recognized as having the potential to replace conventional hair dyes for their bio-friendly and less irritating properties. Although several nature-inspired hair dye products and their potential properties, including antistatic, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties, have been proposed, their complex pigmentation mechanisms are not fully understood. The present feature article covers several nature-inspired pigments and strives to summarize the possible pigmentation mechanisms for hair dyeing. A special focus was given to the color-tuning techniques of these novel hair dyes, such as optimization of polymerization, pigment compounding, and tuning of the energy level structure. Reticular chemistry has been a cornerstone in the design of novel 2D materials. Despite numerous possibilities for topological arrangements, only a few with high symmetry can form stable networks. Here, starting from 2D carbons, four types of highly stable tessellations are discovered, which consist of chains of non‐hexagonal rings separated by hexagonal ribbons. A modified Read–Shockley model is established to perfectly describe the stability of these highly stable frameworks, which is based on the interaction between non‐hexagonal rings. Moreover, these four types of tessellations and the modified Read–Shockley model are found to be of general validity in designing highly stable 2D materials, which is verified by the calculations on polymorphs of boron nitride and molybdenum disulfide. Besides, among the studied 2D carbon allotropes, two semi‐metallic structures with highly anisotropic Dirac cones and one semimetal with a Dirac nodal line at the Fermi level are discovered, as protected by their D2h symmetry. Spin‐orbital coupling is further found to open small bandgaps for these three Dirac structures, making them nontrivial topological insulators. Background: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of N‐carbamylglutamate (NCG) on piglets' growth performance and immune response, and to unravel the mechanisms of such effects. In a 2 × 2 factorial design including diet (with or without NCG) and immunological challenge (saline or lipopolysaccharide (LPS)), 24 piglets were randomly distributed into four groups. After being fed a basic diet or a NCG‐supplemented diet for 21 days, piglets were administered LPS or saline intraperitoneally. Results: The results showed that NCG increased the average daily gain and average daily feed intake, and the feed conversion ratio of piglets, and alleviated the adverse effects of LPS stimulation on intestinal morphology. At the phylum level, NCG reversed the increase in the abundance of Firmicutes and the reduction in that of Actinomycete caused by LPS stimulation. At the genus level, NCG increased the abundance of Lactobacillus, Blautia, norank_Butyricicoccaceae, Subdoligranulum, and Ruminococcus_gauvreauii_group, and LPS decreased the abundance of Escherichia‐Shigella and Ruminococcus_gauvreauii_group. The short‐chain fatty acid content was increased by NCG, but LPS reduced its content. N‐Carbamylglutamate also inhibited significantly the LPS‐induced increase in the relative expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) 3, related orphan receptor (RAR) c, and pro‐inflammatory cytokines, and the decrease in the relative expression of STAT5, forkhead box P3, IL‐10 and transforming growth factor beta 1 mRNA. A significant correlation was found between intestinal microbiota and inflammatory cytokines and short‐chain fatty acids. Conclusion: N‐Carbamylglutamate can improve piglets' growth performance. Background: Laparoscopic radical cystectomy (LRC) with ileal orthotopic neobladder (IONB) reconstruction is one of the most promising methods for bladder cancer treatment; its advantages include a small incision size, less blood loss, improved perioperative outcome and tumor prognosis, and a positive self-image postoperatively. The short-term benefits of various IONB reconstruction procedures reported thus far include a simple process, short operative time, less intraoperative bleeding, few postoperative complications, and good postoperative neobladder function; in the long term, these benefits engender good quality of life of the patients. Here, we explored and summarized the more novel and available IONB reconstruction procedures to identify the safest, most efficient, and simplest IONB reconstruction techniques for patients with bladder cancer. Summary: LRC with IONB reconstruction is technically feasible; however, most of the relevant studies have been short, employing a small sample size and a retrospective design. However, long-term, large-scale, prospective studies identifying the most appropriate bowel segments for IONB reconstruction, comparing intracorporeal and extracorporeal IONB reconstruction, assessing currently available IONBs, and resolving relevant postoperative complications further, with a focus on patients with bladder cancer, are warranted. SUMMARY: Elaborate cell‐cycle control must be adopted to ensure the continuity of the meiotic second division and termination after that. Despite its importance, however, the genetic controls underlying the meiotic cell cycle have not been reported in maize. Here, we characterized a meiotic cell‐cycle controller ZmTDM1, which is a homolog of Arabidopsis TDM1 and encodes a canonical tetratricopeptide repeat domain protein in maize. The Zmtdm1 homozygous plants exhibited complete male sterility and severe female abortion. In Zmtdm1 mutants, cell‐cycle progression was almost identical to that of wild type from leptotene to anaphase II. However, chromosomes in the tetrad failed meiotic termination at the end of the second division and underwent additional divisions in succession without DNA replication, reducing the ploidy to less than haploid in the product. In addition, two ZmTDM1‐like homologs (ZmTDML1 and ZmTDML2) were not functional in meiotic cell‐cycle control. Moreover, ZmTDM1 interacted with RING‐type E3 ubiquitin ligase, revealing that it acts as a subunit of the APC/C E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. Overall, our results identified a regulator of meiotic cell cycle in maize and demonstrated that ZmTDM1 is essential for meiotic exit after meiosis II. Purpose: Marital status has been reported to influence the survival outcomes of various cancers, but its impact on patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) remains unclear. This study aimed to assess the influence of marital status at diagnosis on overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) in patients with MCL. Methods: The study utilized data from the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER)-18 databases, including 6437 eligible individuals diagnosed with MCL from 2000 to 2018. A 1:1 propensity matching method (PSM) minimized confounding factor. Univariate and multivariate analyses determined hazard ratios (HR). Stratified hazard models were developed for married and unmarried statuses across time intervals. Results: Married patients exhibited better 5-year OS and CSS rates compared to unmarried patients (54.2% vs. 39.7%, log-rank p < 0.001; 62.6% vs. 49.3%, log-rank p < 0.001). Multivariate analysis indicated that being unmarried was an independent risk factor for OS (adjusted HR 1.420, 95% CI 1.329–1.517) and CSS (adjusted HR 1.388, 95% CI 1.286–1.498). After PSM, being unmarried remained an independent risk factor for both OS and CSS. Among unmarried patients, widowed individuals exhibited the poorest survival outcomes compared to patients with other marital statuses, with 5-year OS and CSS rates of 28.5% and 41.0%, respectively. Furthermore, in the 10-year OS and CSS hazard model for widowed individuals had a significantly higher risk of mortality, with the probability of overall and cancer-specific mortality increased by 1.7-fold and 1.6-fold, respectively. Conclusion: Marital status at diagnosis is an independent prognostic factor for MCL patients, with widowed individuals showing worse OS and CSS than those who are married, single, or divorced/separated. Ultra-long-distance and high-precision lightning location technology is an important means to realize low-cost and wide-area lightning detection. This paper carried out research on the high-precision location technology of very-low-frequency (VLF) lightning electromagnetic pulse based on the Asia-Pacific Lightning Location Network (APLLN) deployed in 2018. Two key technologies are proposed in this paper: one is the calculation method of signal arrival time using very-low-frequency lightning electromagnetic pulse waveform, and the other is the compression transmission technology of lightning electromagnetic pulse waveform based on a signal principal component analysis. The results of a comparison and evaluation of the improved APLLN with the ADTD system show that the APLLN has a relative location efficiency of 69.1% and an average location error within the network of 4.5 km. Building on advancements in attention mechanisms and sequence modeling, our model integrates the core strengths of LSTM and Transformer architectures, offering a superior alternative to traditional predictive models. Further enriched with online learning, our architecture dynamically adapts to variable operational conditions and continuously incorporates new field data. Utilizing knowledge distillation techniques, we efficiently transfer insights from larger, pretrained networks, thereby achieving high predictive accuracy without sacrificing computational resources. The discrete Ablowitz–Ladik (AL) equation is the discrete version of nonlinear Schrödinger equation, which may have potential physical applications in nonlinear optics, polaron motion and anharmonic lattice dynamics. In this paper, a discrete reverse-time nonlocal coupled AL equation is first proposed and studied. First of all, we correspond this new discrete reverse-time nonlocal equation to continuous nonlocal coupled equation by use of the continuous limit technique. Second, we build the generalized (k , N − k) -fold Darboux transformation for this new discrete equation. As an application, we obtain some novel position controllable nonlocal singular rogue wave (RW) and period wave solutions on constant seed backgrounds, whose structures and positions are controlled by some special parameters. Moreover, we also study dynamical behaviors of some RW solutions via numerical simulations and large asymptotic analysis. The catastrophic forgetting problem is one of the hotspots in the field of deep learning. At present, there is no doubt that storing samples of previous tasks in fixed-size memory is the best way to solve this problem. However, the number of samples stored in fixed-size memory is limited. With the increase in tasks, the number of samples stored in memory for a single task will decrease sharply. It is also difficult to balance the memory capacity and number of samples. To solve this problem, some methods use a fixed size of memory to store dimensionality reduction images. However, this will create new problems. 1) The quality of dimensionality reduction images is poor, and they are significantly different from original images. 2) How to choose the dimensionality reduction method of images. To address these problem, we put forward a new method. Firstly, we employ a simple and reliable scheme to solve the domain difference between dimensionality reduction images and original images. And we theoretically analyzed which image dimensionality reduction method is better. Secondly, to increase the generalization ability of our method and further mitigate the catastrophic forgetting phenomenon, we utilize a self-supervised image augmentation method and the output features similarity loss. Thirdly, we make use of the neural kernel mapping support vector machine theory to improve the interpretability of our method. Herein, the preparation process, morphology, structure, and magnetic properties of La1.85Sr0.15CuO4 (LSCO) cobweb-like nanofibers are reported. LSCO nanofibers with a regular grain size distribution are successfully prepared via electrospinning, followed by calcination. We conducted morphology analysis and elemental distribution using electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), respectively. Additionally, magnetic property testing was performed using a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) to confirm the superconducting properties of the samples. Interestingly, our samples exhibited a superconducting transition temperature, Tc, of 25.21 K, which showed some disparity compared to similar works. Furthermore, we observed a ferromagnetic response at low temperatures in the superconducting nanofibers. Comprehensive Summary: The development of host‐guest MOF luminescent composites has attracted considerable attention. However, it is still a challenge to reasonably design large scale conjugated polycarboxylic acids metal‐organic framework (MOF) and modulate donor‐acceptor interaction. Herein, a series of isostructural 3D porous lanthanide MOF [Ln2(BINDI)0.5(NO3)(DMA)(H2O)]∙DMA∙2.5H2O (Ln = La (1), Ce (2), Pr (3) and Nd (4); H4BINDI (N,N'‐bis(5‐isophthalic acid)‐1,4,5,8‐naphthalenediimide) were synthesized. Considering the electron‐deficient performances of Ln‐BINDI MOFs, D‐A type composites Ln‐MOFs (1—4@H4TBAPy) were prepared via the incorporation of electron‐rich H4TBAPy (1,3,6,8‐tetrakis(p‐benzoic acid) pyrene), which more improved the luminescence performance of complexes 1—4 and can be used as fluorescence sensors for the detection of nitro compounds and aldehydes. High sensitivity of 1@H4TBAPy towards pNBA, pNA PNP, DNP, and TNP could be achieved through hydrogen bond interactions between MOF and analytes, as well as the π‐π interaction between H4TBAPy and the naphthalene ring of BINDI, thus the fluorescence quenching efficiency of 1@H4TBAPy was better than that of the complex 1. In addition, it is found that 1@H4TBAPy has high selectivity and sensitivity to aromatic aldehyde SA, 5‐Mesal and HMBA. Herein, a novel self-oxidation strategy is proposed to convert FeNi hydrogels with core-shell structures into amorphous FeNi–O aerogels with double-shell (FeO x @NiO y) hollow nanoarchitecture by the Kirkendall effect. Attributed to the unique double-shell hollow nanoarchitecture, the FeNi–O aerogels own large specific surface area and porosity, which provides many more active sites for OER and facilitates ion diffusion and O 2 release. Furthermore, the strong electron interactions occurring at the non-homogeneous interface of the double-shelled structure, can effectively accelerate the electron transfer thus boosting OER. In addition, the amorphous FeO x @NiO y double shell structure is benefit to maintain structural stability and prevent its corrosion by electrolyte. As a result, the FeNi–O aerogels deliver excellent OER activity with a low overpotential of only 280 mV at a high current density of 50 mA cm−2, a low Tafel slope of 32.5 mV dec−1, and good long-term catalytic stability. The fungal genus Nigrospora is known to be a plant pathogen, endophyte, and saprobe, and it is usually isolated from various substrates like soil and air. During the surveys of soil fungi in Hebei Province of China, two isolates of Nigrospora were obtained. A multi-locus phylogeny of combined loci of the 5.8S nuclear ribosomal gene with the two flanking transcribed spacers (ITS), part of the translation elongation factor 1-alpha (tef1), and the beta-tubulin (tub2) loci, in conjunction with morphological characters were used to identify the newly collected isolates. Nigrospora humicola sp. Nov. is described and proposed herein, which differs from its phylogenetically close species N. chinensis and N. globosa by the sequences of ITS, tef1, and tub2. Egg white proteins pose notable limitations in emulsion applications due to their inadequate wettability and interfacial instability. Polyphenol-driven alterations in proteins serve as an effective strategy for optimizing their properties. Herein, covalent and non-covalent complexes of egg white proteins-proanthocyanins were synthesized. The analysis of structural alterations, amino acid side chains and wettability was performed. The superior wettability (80.00° ± 2.23°) and rigid structure (2.95 GPa) of covalent complexes established favorable conditions for their utilization in emulsions. Furthermore, stability evaluation, digestion kinetics, free fatty acid (FFA) release kinetics, and correlation analysis were explored to unravel the impact of covalent and non-covalent modification on emulsion stability, dynamic digestion process, and interlinkages. Emulsion stabilized by covalent complex exhibited exceptional stabilization properties, and FFA release kinetics followed both first-order and Korsmeyer–Peppas models. This study offers valuable insights into the application of complexes of proteins-polyphenols in emulsion systems and introduces an innovative approach for analyzing the dynamics of the emulsion digestion process. Thiophene sulfide is difficult to be removed by hydrodesulfurization. In this study, ZnCl2-waste paper fiber activated carbon was used as adsorbent to remove thiophene sulfide from simulated oil by hydrothermal modification. Under the optimum condition of ammonia modification, the adsorption capacity of modified adsorbent to BT is 14.8 mg S/g, 2.98 times that of unmodified. BET, FTIR and Boehm analysis showed that the mesopore volume of ammonia modified adsorbent increased by 96.62% and the mesopore ratio increased from 12.58% to 43.40%, which was conducive to improving the adsorption rate. After modification, the basic groups on the surface of the adsorbent increased by 44.3 times, and –NH3+, –OH and –NH2 enhanced the electron attraction and hydrogen bonding force between the adsorbent and BT molecule. Adsorption isotherms, adsorption kinetics and adsorption thermodynamics show that the adsorption process is spontaneous, entropic and exothermic. The pseudo-second-order kinetic rate constant increases with the increase of adsorption temperature, indicating that the increase of temperature is beneficial to accelerate the adsorption rate. The adsorption desulfurization process follows the mechanism of single and multilayer adsorption mixing. The results of this study can help to reveal more clearly that biobased activated carbon can be modified to adsorb thiophene sulfide. Objective: To investigate the effects of miR-150 on expression of PD-1 in peripheral T cells and lung tumor growth in mice. Methods: miR-150 gene knockout (miR-150KO) and wild-type normal control (WT) mice were selected, number changes of peripheral T cells,expression of activated phenotype molecule CD69, and immune checkpoint molecule PD-1 were detected by flow cytometry. Lewis lung cancer cell line (LLC) was used to prepare transplanted tumor models in miR-150KO and WT mice by subcutaneous injection, and effect of miR-150 on growth of lung tumor was observed. Anti-PD-1 antibody was used to intraperitoneally inject miR-150KO and WT tumor-bearing mice, and its effect on tumor growth inhibition was observed. Results: Compared with WT mice, proportion and number of CD4+T cells in lymph nodes and spleen of miR-150KO mice were significantly increased, while proportion and number of CD4+T and CD8+T cells in peripheral blood were significantly decreased. miR-150 knockout resulted in a significant increase in proportion of CD69+ cells in CD4 T and CD8 T cells of lymph nodes and peripheral blood, as well as a significant increase in proportion of PD-1+ cells in CD4 T and CD8 T cells of peripheral blood. Compared with WT tumor-bearing mice, tumor growth was significantly accelerated in miR-150KO tumor-bearing mice, and proportion of PD-1+ cells in CD4 T and CD8 T cells in peripheral blood and lymph nodes of miR-150KO tumor-bearing mice was also significantly increased. Anti-PD-1 antibody treatment significantly inhibited tumor growth of miR-150KO tumor-bearing mice. Conclusion: miR-150 knockout promotes the growth of transplanted lung tumor in mice by increasing expression of PD-1 in T cells, but also enhances the immunosuppressive effect of anti-PD-1 antibody on tumor. Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is an unique metabolic disorder that occurs during pregnancy. Both GDM and advanced age increase the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. This study used a GDM cohort study to investigate the role of age in the adverse pregnancy outcomes for pregnant women with GDM. From 2015 to 2021, 308,175 pregnant women were selected, and the data received from 22 hospitals by the Hebei Province Maternal Near Miss Surveillance System. There were 24,551 pregnant women with GDM that were divided into five groups by age (20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44 years old). Because the prevalence of adverse pregnancy outcomes was lower in pregnant women with GDM aged 25–29, they were used as a reference group (P < 0.05). Compared with GDM women aged 25–29 years, GDM women aged 35–44 years had a significant higher risk of cesarean delivery (aOR: 2.86, 95% CI 2.52–3.25) (P < 0.001), abnormal fetal position (aOR: 1.78, 95% CI 1.31–2.37) (P < 0.001), pre-eclampsia (aOR: 1.28, 95% CI 1.01–1.61) (P < 0.05), macrosomia (aOR: 1.25, 95% CI 1.08–1.45) (P < 0.05), and large for gestational age (LGA) (aOR: 1.16, 95% CI 1.02–1.31) (P < 0.05), GDM women aged 40–44 years had a higher risk of placenta previa (aOR: 2.53, 95% CI 1.01–6.35) (P < 0.05), anemia (aOR: 3.45, 95% CI 1.23–9.68) (P < 0.05) and small for gestational age (aOR: 1.32, 95% CI 1.01–1.60) (P < 0.05). Introduction: Young and middle-aged people are important participants in the fight against health insurance fraud. The study aims to investigate the differences in their willingness to report health insurance fraud and the factors influencing it when it occurs in familiar or unfamiliar healthcare settings. Methods: Data were obtained from a validated questionnaire from 828 young and middle-aged people. McNemar's test was used to compare the public's willingness to report under the two scenarios. Chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the determinants of individuals' willingness to report health insurance fraud in different scenarios. Results: Young and middle-aged people were more likely to report health insurance fraud in a familiar healthcare setting than in an unfamiliar one (McNemar's χ²=26.51, P < 0.05). Their sense of responsibility for maintaining the security of the health insurance fund, the government's openness about fraud cases, and the perception of their ability to report had significant positive effects on the public's willingness to report in both settings (P < 0.05). In a familiar healthcare setting, the more satisfied the public is with government measures to protect whistleblowers, the more likely they are to report (OR = 1.44, P = 0.025). Those who perceive the consequences of health insurance fraud to be serious are more likely to report than those who perceive the consequences to be less serious (OR = 1.61, P = 0.042). Conclusion: Individuals are more likely to report health insurance fraud in familiar healthcare settings than in unfamiliar ones, in which their awareness of the severity of the consequences of health insurance fraud and their perceived risk after reporting it play an important role. The government's publicizing of fraud cases and enhancing the public's sense of responsibility and ability to maintain the safety of the health insurance fund may be a way to increase their willingness to report, regardless of whether they are familiar with the healthcare setting or not. Purpose: Lack of adequate physical exercise is the main reason for the frequent occurrence of health problems among Chinese college students. The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of control beliefs on cardiovascular fitness among college students and the mediating role of subjective exercise experience and exercise adherence in it. Methods: The Control Belief Scale, the Subjective Exercise Experience Scale (SEES), and the Exercise Adherence Scale were used to investigate 1854 freshmen and sophomores in Nantong and Suzhou, China. Cardiovascular fitness data for college students from the National Student Physical Health Standard and SPSS 23.0 statistical analysis software were used to carry out statistics and analyses on the questionnaires. Correlation analysis, regression analysis, and mediation models were used to assess control beliefs, subjective exercise experiences, exercise adherence, and cardiovascular fitness. Results: The control belief of college students was directly related to cardiovascular fitness (effect value: 0.121), the mediating effect through subjective exercise experience was not significant, indirectly related through the mediating effect of exercise adherence (effect value: 0.101), and indirectly related through the mediating effect of subjective exercise experience and exercise adherence (effect value: 0. 019). The positive prediction effect of control belief on cardiovascular fitness of college students was significant (β = 0.267, P < 0.001), and the positive prediction effect of control belief on cardiovascular fitness of college students was still significant (β = 0.121, P < 0.01) after adding the intermediary variables (subjective exercise experience and exercise adherence). Conclusions: The cardiovascular fitness of college students was not only directly affected by control beliefs but also affected by the chain mediating effect of subjective exercise experience and exercise adherence. Enterococcus faecium is responsible for a highly contagious, drug-resistant nosocomial infection that often causes serious illness. In this study, a rapid and sensitive RPA-LFS (recombinase polymerase amplification-lateral flow strip) method for the detection of E. faecium was established based on specific primers and probes designed using the ddl gene. To verify the specificity and sensitivity of the method, 26 specific strains and 100–106 CFU/μL E. faecium were selected for detection. The results show that the proposed method can specifically detect E. faecium, and the minimum detection limit is 100 CFU/μL. To compare the clinical application of the method with qPCR, 181 clinical samples were collected for testing. RPA-LFS and qPCR had the same practical applicability, and 61 parts of E. faecium were detected in 183 clinical samples. HBsAg loss is only observed in a small proportion of patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) who undergo interferon treatment. Investigating the host factors crucial for functional cure of CHB can aid in identifying individuals who would benefit from peginterferon-α (Peg-IFNα) therapy. We conducted a genome-wide association study (GWAS) by enrolling 48 patients with CHB who achieved HBsAg loss after Peg-IFNα treatment and 47 patients who didn't. In the validation stage, we included 224 patients, of whom 90 had achieved HBsAg loss, to validate the identified significant single nucleotide polymorphisms. To verify the functional involvement of the candidate genes identified, we performed a series of in vitro and in vivo experiments. GWAS results indicated a significant association between the rs7519753 C allele and serum HBsAg loss in patients with CHB after Peg-IFNα treatment (p = 4.85 × 10-8, odds ratio = 14.47). This association was also observed in two independent validation cohorts. Expression quantitative trait locus analysis revealed higher hepatic TP53BP2 expression in individuals carrying the rs7519753 C allele (p = 2.90 × 10-6). RNA-sequencing of liver biopsies from patients with CHB after Peg-IFNα treatment revealed that hepatic TP53BP2 levels were significantly higher in the HBsAg loss group compared to the HBsAg persistence group (p = 0.035). In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated that loss of TP53BP2 decreased interferon-stimulated gene levels and the anti-HBV effect of IFN-α. Mechanistically, TP53BP2 was found to downregulate SOCS2, thereby facilitating JAK/STAT signaling. The rs7519753 C allele is associated with elevated hepatic TP53BP2 expression and an increased probability of serum HBsAg loss post-Peg-IFNα treatment in patients with CHB. TP53BP2 enhances the response of the hepatocyte to IFN-α by suppressing SOCS2 expression. Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) remains a global public health issue. Although current antiviral therapies are more effective in halting disease progression, only a few patients achieve functional cure for hepatitis B with HBsAg loss, highlighting the urgent need for a cure for CHB. This study revealed that the rs7519753 C allele, which is associated with high expression of hepatic TP53BP2, significantly increases the likelihood of serum HBsAg loss in patients with CHB undergoing Peg-IFNα treatment. This finding not only provides a promising predictor for HBsAg loss but identifies a potential therapeutic target for Peg-IFNα treatment. Background: Although significant progress has been made in treatment techniques for renal and ureteral calculi, residual fragments (RF) persisting long after treatment pose a serious threat to patients' health. A variety of novel physical techniques and extraction devices are currently being developed to promote the removal of RF from the urinary system, and a series of in vivo experiments have demonstrated their safety and efficacy. Summary: External physical vibration lithecbole, magnetic extraction, biocompatible stone adhesive-based methods, and ultrasonic propulsion technologies are examples of innovative therapies that can promote the clearance of RF and improve the stone-free rate. In conclusion, the physical treatment of these RF needs to be optimized and improved. They are a promising technique for improving the efficiency of endovascular urology, and further in vivo studies are needed to confirm their safety and efficacy.
