Polycrystalline Ho1-xTmxNi (0≤x≤0.8) compounds were successfully prepared by an arc-melting method, and the crystal structure, magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) were investigated in detail. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results indicate that Ho1-xTmxNi (0≤x≤0.8) compounds are pure phases with FeB-type orthorhombic structure (space group Pnma). Magnetic measurements show that HoNi alloy undergoes a spin reorientation (SR) transition and a ferromagnetic (FM) to paramagnetic (PM) transition at 13.5 K and 35.5 K, respectively. Rare earth atoms Tm with small spin were used to substitute Ho atoms in HoNi compound in order to adjust the magnetic phase transitions and to further optimize the magnetocaloric effect (MCE). With increasing Tm content from 0 to 0.8, the refrigerant temperature span decreases from 41.6 K to 17.3 K. When the content of Tm is 0.3, a platform-shaped isothermal magnetic entropy change (-ΔSM) curve is obtained and the value of -ΔSM is relatively stable over 35 K. Our findings are of great importance for HoTmNi compounds in practical applications.

This paper focuses on removal niobium from Nb-bearing hot metal by bottom blown-CO2 gas at flow rate of 1,0×103 Nm3/h, 1,5×10-3 Nm3/h at 1350 °C and 1 450 °C in a medium induction furnace. The results show that Nb and P are oxidized and the ratio of Nb to P in Nb-bearing slag at blowing termination reaches to 46,66 at 1350 °C and CO2 flow rate of 1,5m3/h, which is more than that in the other condition; it improves to remove more Nb from hot metal with bottom-blown CO2 at 1 350 °C than at 1450 °C; Nb starts to oxidize by CO2 to form slag when Si content in molten iron decreases to low 0,1 wt. %.

A novel approach for positron injection and acceleration in the laser driven plasma wakefield is proposed. One ring-shaped beam and one coaxially propagating Gaussian beam drive wakefields in a preformed plasma volume filled with both electrons and positrons. The laser’s ponderomotive force as well as the charge separation force in the front bucket of the first bubble are utilized to provide the transverse momenta of injected positrons and those positrons can be trapped by the focusing field and then accelerated by the wakefield. Theoretical analysis of the process is presented and verified by particle-in-cell simulations. The simulations show that relatively high-charge, quasimonoenergetic positron beams can be obtained.

Physics ,QC1-999 - Abstract
The magnetic behavior and MCE property of NdGa compound were studied in detail. According to the temperature dependence of magnetization (M-T) curve at 0.01 T, two sharp changes were observed at 20 K (TSR) and 42 K (TC), respectively, corresponding to spin reorientation and FM-PM transition. Isothermal magnetization curves up to 5 T at different temperatures were measured and magnetic entropy change (ΔSM) was calculated based on M-H data. Temperature dependences of –ΔSM for a field change of 0-2 T and 0-5 T show that there are two peaks on the curves corresponding to TSR and TC, respectively. The value of the two peaks is 6.4 J/kg K and 15.5 J/kg K for the field change of 0-5 T. Since the two peaks are close, the value of –ΔSM in the temperature range between TSR and TC keeps a large value. The excellent MCE performance of NdGa compound benefits from the existence of two successive magnetic transitions.

Physics ,QC1-999 - Abstract
A sample of HoCo3B2 compound was synthesized, and the magnetic and MCE properties were investigated. Compound shows a change corresponding to R-R (R = rare earth) sublattice magnetic order transition and the transition temperature is determined to be 11.8 K (TC). The characteristic of Arrott plots with positive slope around TC was observed, indicating a second-order phase transition. Based on isothermal magnetization data, together with Maxwell’s relationship, the magnetic entropy change (-ΔSM) was calculated. The maximum -ΔSM reaches 7.8, 12.7 and 14.4 J/kg K for field range of 0-2 T, 0-5 T and 0-7 T, respectively. Accordingly, the value of RC (refrigerant capacity) is 99, 289 and 432 J/kg for above field ranges. The large MCE of HoCo3B2 compound indicates its potential application for magnetic refrigeration in low temperature range.

With the help of metrology, we can identify research hotspots and development trends in dynamic electrocardiography, and thereby provide corresponding reference material to aid further theoretical research. All research data derived from the core collection of Web of Science, and all searches were completed on the same day (February 6, 2022). The obtained data were stored in plain text format and imported into CiteSpace for subsequent analysis. Citation analysis and visualization technology were used to draw a visual map of the research elements, using factors such as annual literature volume, country, journal, author, abstract, keywords, and citation. After screening, 2,937 papers were obtained. Research on ambulatory electrocardiography is increasing worldwide every year. Using research hotspots, keyword-clustering time-zone maps, and high-frequency emerging words, the research in this field was roughly divided into two stages, with 2017 as the divider. The first stage primarily focuses on areas such as atrial fibrillation, stroke, autonomic nerve function, catheter ablation, and T-wave alternation. The second stage saw the focus shift to wearable devices, sudden cardiac death, obstructive sleep apnea, feature extraction, cryptogenic stroke, and similar topics. With the development of various wearable technologies, the daily monitoring of healthy people engaged in sporting activities and the development of innovative analysis algorithms providing more accurate data may represent the hotspots and direction of future research.

Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy (PCV) is now categorized as a subtype of neovascular Age-related Macular Degeneration (nAMD), though the ocular manifestation and prognosis of PCV patients are quite distinct from nAMD. Due to its high prevalence in Asian population, retina specialists have implemented multiple randomized control trials (RCT) in recent years, aiming at providing grade 1 clinical evidence for current therapies and exploring efficient and affordable regimens for long-term management of PCV. Here we summarised current problems existed in available RCTs and prognostic biomarkers, and presented our thoughts based on previous clinical experiences which may be helpful for clinical management of PCV. .

In the surgical treatment of adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG), the scope of lymph node dissection, surgical approach selection, extent of tumor resection and digestive tract reconstruction have always been controversial, with the digestive tract reconstruction in AEG facing many challenges especially. The digestive tract reconstruction is related to the extent of resection. At present, the digestive tract reconstruction after total gastrectomy includes Roux-en-Y anastomosis, jejunum interposition and its derivatives. According to different reconstruction methods, they can be divided into tube anastomosis, linear anastomosis and manual anastomosis. Anti-reflux digestive tract reconstruction after proximal gastrectomy mainly includes esophagogastric anastomosis, interposition jejunum and double channel anastomosis. At present, double channel anastomosis is the most common reconstruction method in China. Based on the concept of interposition tubular stomach and reconstruction of gastric angle for anti-reflux, we propose "Giraffe" anastomosis, which moves artificial fundus and His angle downward to retain more residual stomach, showing good gastric emptying and anti-reflux effect. In this paper, combined with our clinical experience and understanding, we discuss the selection and technical key points of digestive tract reconstruction methods in AEG, and suggest that composite anti-reflux mechanism design may be the development trend of anti-reflux reconstruction in the future. The composite mechanism includes the retention of gastric electrical pacemaker in greater curvature of the middle part of gastric body to increase the emptying capacity of residual stomach, the reconstruction of gastric fundus and His angle anti-reflux barrier, and the establishment of an interposition tubular stomach acting as a buffer zone in Giraffe construction, and so on. .

Collinear laser spectroscopy is performed on the nickel isotopes Ni58-68,70, using a time-resolved photon counting system. From the measured isotope shifts, nuclear charge radii Rc are extracted and compared to theoretical results. Three ab initio approaches all employ, among others, the chiral interaction NNLOsat, which allows an assessment of their accuracy. We find agreement with experiment in differential radii δ⟨rc2⟩ for all employed ab initio methods and interactions, while the absolute radii are consistent with data only for NNLOsat. Within nuclear density functional theory, the Skyrme functional SV-min matches experiment more closely than the Fayans functional Fy(Δr,HFB). Intestinal organoids, also named "mini-guts", reconstitute sophisticated three-dimensional architecture recapitulating diversified intestinal epithelial cell types and physiology, which is driven by the proliferative and self-assembling characteristics of crypt stem cells. The initiation of organoids study relies on the identification of Lgr5+ crypt stem cells from different intestinal segments and the key role of EGF, Wnt, BMP/TGF-β, Notch signal pathways within the microenvironment during the cultivation process. Besides constituting polarized crypt-villus structures, these "mini-guts" exhibit various effective functions of intestinal epithelium. Since 2009 when the culture system of small intestinal organoids was established by Sato et al, intestinal organoids excel conventional intestinal models depending on genetical mutation in multiple aspects and thus have become the hotspot among the research on intestinal diseases. Combined with genomics, material science and engineering, "mini-guts" have been widely applied to the research on intestinal development, intestinal transport physiology, epithelial barrier, pathogen-host interaction and the study on cystic fibrosis, infectious diarrhea, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, intestinal cancer, etc. In this review, we summarize the new insights introduced by organoid into the research on intestinal diseases, and related research advances and applications. .

In the present work, Co0.5Mg0.5Fe2O4/Ba0.85Sr0.15TiO3 (CMFO/BST) composite ceramics with different molar ratios (1:1, 1:2, 1:4, 1:6 and 1:8) were prepared by sol-gel method and sintered at 1150°C. The effects of molar ratio on the structure, dielectric and multiferroic properties were comparatively studied. The results indicate that all the synthesized composites mainly show bi-phase structure except slight presence of impurity phases. The surface of the specimens is relatively dense and the mean grain size is about 2 μm. It decreases at first and then increases with the increased molar ratio. The dielectric constant shows decreased trend with increasing the molar ratio, while the dielectric loss presents the opposite behaviour. With the increase of molar ratio, the height of the relaxation peak decreases while the peak position shifts to higher temperature range. The relaxation peak evolves gradually from one to two peaks. The residual polarization increases with voltage but decreases with frequency. The maximal polarization of 1.28 μC/cm2 is obtained in the specimen with the molar ratio of 1:8, due to the largest concentration of ferroelectric phase BST. The magnetization shows abnormal behaviour with the change in molar ratio. The largest saturation and remnant magnetization are 20.89 and 12.66 emu/g, respectively when the molar ratio is 1:2 due to the stronger interface interaction effect between the two phases.

Magnetoelectric composites have attracted extensive attentions due to the possibility of room temperature coupling effect between the ferroelectric and magnetic phases. We report the comparative study of structure, dielectric, ferroelectric, magnetic properties as well as coupling effect for (1-x)Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4-xBa0.85Sr0.15Ti0.9Hf0.1O3 ((1-x)MZFO- xBSTHO) (x = 0.2, 0.35, 0.5, 0.65, 0.8) composite ceramics prepared by combining coprecipitation process with sol-gel method. The X-ray diffraction result confirm bi-phase structure of the composites, without apparent chemical reaction generated between MZFO and BSTHO. The samples present relative density surface, the mean grain size is in the range of 1–2 μm, which increases slightly with the decrease of molar ratio. The dielectric constant and loss show non-monotonic variation with molar ratio. Temperature and frequency dependence of relaxation peaks are due to the relaxation polarization induced by interface, space charges and weakly bound ions. The peak of the dielectric constant disappears when x is larger than 0.5, while the loss peaks were still observed for all the samples. The remnant polarization increases with x decreasing while the leakage current decreases because the concentration of high-resistance BSTHO is increased. The sample with x = 0.20 shows the largest saturated magnetization of 54 emu/g while the maximal effective saturated magnetization for MZFO is larger than 80 emu/g, obtained at x = 0.65. The coupling coefficient decreases first and then increases, finally it decreases again with the increase of x. The maximal magnetoelectric coupling coefficient is 1420 μV/(cm.Oe), which is obtained for the sample at x = 0.65. The anomalous magnetic and coupling behaviors can be attributed to the strong interface interaction between MZFO and BSTHO.

We report an anomalous magnetoelectric coupling effect of CoFe2O4–BaTiO3 binary mixed fluids, which were prepared by distributing surfactant treated (oleic acid) magnetic CoFe2O4 and ferroelectric BaTiO3 nanoparticles into highly insulating base fluid (silicone oil). A strong coupling effect in this mixed fluid has been observed, in which both the remnant polarization/magnetization and coercive electric/magnetic field are found to be enhanced visibly in the presence of an external magnetic/electric field. Colossal converse and direct magnetoelectric coupling coefficients are estimated to be αH = 1.22 × 10–4Oe·cm/V and αE = 2.52 × 104 V/(cm·Oe), respectively. Moreover, this coefficient clearly depends on the volume fraction of the two kinds of particles and the applied external magnetic/electric field. Even more amazing, CoFe2O4 also shows a strong magnetoelectric coupling effect with a coefficient as high as 4.2 × 10–5 Oe·cm/V. Further analysis indicates that the aggregated, chain-like structure of the pa...

Magnetoelectric composite ceramics Fe3O4/PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 with different molar ratios (Fe3O4/PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 = 1:1, 1:2 and 1:8) were prepared by combining hydrothermal method and sol–gel method, effects of molar ratio on the structure, dielectric and multiferroic properties were investigated. The results indicate that the synthesized composites show bi-phase structure, ruling out the presence of any obvious impurity phases. The grains can be divided into two types, the larger grain is attributed to PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 while the smaller one can be considered to be Fe3O4. With the molar ratio increasing, the grain shape of PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 changes from stripe to bulk-like while the shape and size of Fe3O4 is near the same. Both the dielectric constant and loss decrease with frequency, the specimen with the molar ratio of 1:8 shows the largest dielectric constant, while the sample has the lowest dielectric loss when the molar ratio is 1:2. With the increase of molar ratio, the height of the relaxation peak decreases and the peak position shifts to higher temperature. When the molar ratio is 1:8, the relaxation peak disappears due to less interface polarization. The remnant polarization increases with increasing the molar ratio, the maximum value is 1.12 μC/cm2, obtained at 1 kHz when the molar ratio is 1:8. Anomalous magnetic properties are observed, in which the magnetization increases first and then decreases with molar ratio, the largest saturation magnetization is ~ 30 emu/g when the ratio is 1:2 due to the strong interface interaction. The sample with the ratio of 1:1 shows the largest magnetic loss because of the highest content of magnetic phase. The magnetization shows a monotonic variation behavior with the molar ratio, indicating the strong interface interaction between the two phases. The maximal ME coupling coefficient is about 5.12 mV/(cm.Oe) for the sample 1:2 due to the stronger magnetic and ferroelectric properties.

High performance multiferroic composites have attracted great attentions because they are more beneficial to increasing magnetoelectric coupling effect. We report the effects of molar ratio (4:1, 2:1, 1:1, 1:2 and 1:4) on the structural, dielectric and multiferroic properties of Co0.6Cu0.3Zn0.1Fe2O4/Ba0.9Sr0.1Zr0.1Ti0.9O3 (CCZFO/BSZTO) composite ceramics prepared by sol-gel method. The XRD results confirm successful formation of the CCZFO/BSZTO composites without presence of any impurity phase. The mean grain size is about 1.5 mm and it shows double dispersing behavior, the larger grains belong to CCZFO while the smaller ones are ascribed to BSZTO. The maximum dielectric constant and loss appear with the molar ratio is 1:1 due to its more grain boundaries. Two peaks appear in the e∼T curves, the peak corresponding to the lower temperature corresponds to the Curie temperature of BSZTO, while the other one is resulted by the relaxation polarization. The height of the relaxation peak decreases and the position shifts to higher temperature range with the increase of molar ratio. The maximal remanent polarization is 3.76 μC/cm2, obtained at 1 kHz when the molar ratio is 1:1. An enhanced magnetic properties are observed when the molar ratio is 1:1 due to the stronger interface interaction effect between the two phases. Strong direct magnetoelectric coupling coefficient of 1.53 V/(cm.Oe) is obtained at the field of 8000 Oe for the sample 1:4. These results may provide valuable information for improving the multiferroic properties of composite multiferroic materials.

Mn0.5Mg0.5Fe2O4/Ba0.8Sr0.2Ti0.9Zr0.1O3 composite ceramics were prepared by sol-gel method and the effects of molar ratio (3:1, 2:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3) between the magnetic and ferroelectric phases on the microstructure, dielectric, ferroelectric and magnetic properties have been comparatively investigated. The results indicate that the obtained composite ceramics show bi-phase structure, without other apparent impurities. The surface is relatively uniform except for some pores, and the grain size of all the samples is near 1 μm. The dielectric constant shows decreasing trend with the molar ratio while the loss presents the opposite behavior. Only one relaxation peak can be observed when the molar ratio is less than 1:1, but two peaks are found when the molar ratio exceeds 1:1. The height of the peak decreases with the frequency and molar ratio while the position shifts to higher temperature range with the molar ratio. The dielectric loss increases sharply with the temperature and it is amounts to several thousand when the temperature is lager than 300 °C in the lower molar ratios. Both the resident polarization and coercive electric field increase with the measured voltage while they decrease with the frequency. The leakage current decreases with the molar ratio due to the lower conductivity of Mn0.5Mg0.5Fe2O4. The magnetization shows a monotonic variation behavior with the molar ratio, indicating the strong interface interaction between the two phases. The maximal ME coupling coefficient is about 800 mV/(cm.Oe) for the sample 3:1 due to the stronger magnetic properties.

BTO/CMZFO composite ceramics with different molar ratios (the molar of BTO to that of CMZFO) (3:1, 2:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3) were prepared by conventional solid state reaction method. Effects of molar ratio on the dielectric, magnetic properties and coupling effect were investigated. The results indicate that the ceramics show bi-phase composite structure, without any obvious impurities can be found. The grain size can be categorized into two types, one is BTO with the grain size of 2–3 μm while the other one is CMZFO with the size less than 0.5 μm. The dielectric constant of all the composites is less than 500 in the frequency range from 20 to 2 MHz, and it decreases with decreasing the molar ratio while the dielectric loss shows the opposite behavior. The frequency stability of dielectric constant decreases with the addition of CMZFO due to the increased relaxation polarization. The dielectric constant and loss present non-monotonic dependence on the molar ratio, one or more relaxation peaks can be found. With the reduction of molar ratio, the height of the relaxation peak decreases and the position of the relaxation peak shifts to lower temperature. The remnant polarization (Pr) range is from 2 to 7.5 μC/cm2, it decreases first and then increases with the molar ratio, this non-monotonic transition can be attributed to the combined action of ferroelectric phase and leakage current. The magnetization decreases and then increases with the diminution of molar ratio, the largest remnant magnetization (Mr) of the composites is 31.52 emu/g when the ratio is 1:3. The largest effective magnetization of CMZFO component in the composite is 84.855 emu/g for the specimen with the molar ratio 2:1, which is due to the strongest interface interaction between the two phases compared with other samples. The coupling coefficient increases rapidly and then decreases slowly with the applied magnetic field, and the maximum coupling coefficient is near 1.2 mV/cmOe, which is obtained at about 2 kOe in the sample with the molar ratio 1:3.

Co0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4(CNFO) were prepared by chemical coprecipitation method and the particles were tuned by varying annealing temperature (400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 °C), and on this basis, CNFO/Ba0.85Sr0.15TiO3 (BST) composites were prepared by sol–gel method. Effects of CNFO particle size on the microstructure, dielectric and multiferroic properties were systematically investigated and discussed. The results confirm pure CNFO and BST phases, without any obvious impurity phases. The particle size of CNFO is in the range of 20–50 nm, and all the composites show relatively uniform grain size except some pores presented on the surface. The dielectric constant and loss decrease with the particle size as a whole, while the permittivity shows strong dependence of the measuring frequency due to the relaxation polarization mechanism, of which the relaxation peak decreases and shifts to high temperature range with the frequency. The polarization increases with the testing voltage but decreases with the test frequency increasing, the remnant polarization decreases with the increase of particles size, the highest value is 2.2 μC/cm2, obtained at 100 Hz for the sample with the smallest particle size. The maximal remnant magnetization is 11.2 emu/g, which is also obtained when the particle size is the smallest due to its strongest interface interaction. The ME coefficient decreases with increasing the particles size and the maximum ME coefficient is about 13.2 mV/(cm Oe). These results provide valuable information for improving the magnetoelectric properties of composites by tuning the particles size.

- Abstract
12 pags., 6 figs., 3 tabs., Background: The evolution of shell structure around doubly magic exotic nuclei is of great interest in nuclear physics and astrophysics. In the 'southwest' region of Ni78, the development of deformation might trigger a major shift in our understanding of explosive nucleosynthesis. To this end, new spectroscopic information on key close-lying nuclei is very valuable. Purpose: We intend to measure the isomeric and β decay of Co75, with one-proton and two-neutron holes relative to Ni78, to access new nuclear structure information in Co75 and its β-decay daughters Ni75 and Ni74. Methods: The nucleus Co75 is produced in relativistic in-flight fission reactions of U238 at the Radioactive Ion Beam Factory in the RIKEN Nishina Center. Its isomeric and β decay are studied exploiting the BigRIPS and EURICA setups. Results: We obtain partial β-decay spectra for Ni75 and Ni74, and report a new isomeric transition in Co75. The energy [Eγ=1914(2)keV] and half-life [t1/2=13(6)μs] of the delayed γ ray lend support for the existence of a Jπ=(1/2-) isomeric state at 1914(2) keV. A comparison with PFSDG-U shell-model calculations provides a good account for the observed states in Ni75, but the first calculated 1/2- level in Co75, a prolate K=1/2 state, is predicted about 1 MeV below the observed (1/2-) level. Conclusions: The spherical-like structure of the lowest-lying excited states in Ni75 is proved. In the case of Co75, the results suggest that the dominance of the spherical configurations over the deformed ones might be stronger than expected below Ni78. Further experimental efforts to discern the nature of the Jπ=(1/2-) isomer are necessary., The excellent work of the RIKEN accelerator staff for providing a stable and high-intensity beam of 238U is acknowledged. The influence of Ho substitution for Tm atoms on the magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) of TmGa compound was systematically investigated according to magnetic measurements and neutron powder diffraction (NPD) experiments. The magnetic transitions of ${\mathrm{Tm}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Ho}}_{x}\mathrm{Ga}$ compounds show different types by Ho substitution due to the variation of spin and orbital angular momentum quantum number and the complete magnetic diagram of ${\mathrm{Tm}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Ho}}_{x}\mathrm{Ga}$ compounds was obtained. The spin reorientation (SR) transition of ${\mathrm{Tm}}_{0.1}{\mathrm{Ho}}_{0.9}\mathrm{Ga}$ compound was directly confirmed by variable-temperature NPD experiments. Results show that the magnetic moment orders along the $c$ axis at the temperatures between ${T}_{\mathrm{SR}}$ and ${T}_{\mathrm{C}}$ and it cants away from the $c$ axis towards the $ab$ plane upon cooling below ${T}_{\mathrm{SR}}$. Furthermore, Ho substitution plays a dominant role in MCE of ${\mathrm{Tm}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Ho}}_{x}\mathrm{Ga}$ compounds. When $x=0.15$, the peak value of magnetic entropy change reaches the maximum value of 18.0 J/kg K under field change of 0--2 T. The refrigerant temperature span ($\ensuremath{\delta}{T}_{\mathrm{FWHM}}$) and refrigeration capacity of ${\mathrm{Tm}}_{0.85}{\mathrm{Ho}}_{0.15}\mathrm{Ga}$ compound show enhancement of 23.0 and 21.6%, correspondingly, compared with TmGa compound. The giant MCE of ${\mathrm{Tm}}_{0.85}{\mathrm{Ho}}_{0.15}\mathrm{Ga}$ compound results from the optimization of spin and total angular momentum quantum number by Ho substitution.

Increasing evidence indicated that N6-methyl-adenosine (M6A) played a key role in a variety of pathophysiological processes. Methylases could promote the processing of mature mi-RNA in a M6A-dependent manner, thereby participating in the pathological cells' occurrence and development. However, the regulatory mechanism of M6A in atherosclerosis (AS) was still unclear.Quantificational Real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to detect the relative expression levels of M6A, methyltransferase, demethylase transferase, miR-19a and other mi-RNA in atherosclerotic vascular endothelial cells (ASVEC). Cell Counting Kit (CCK8) was used to detect cell proliferation, the expression of PCNA was measured by Western Blot (WB) and qRT-PCR. Transwell assays were used to detect the invasion ability of ASVEC. Co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) was used to detect the binding of METTL14 to DGCR8. RNA Immunoprecipitation (RIP) was used to detect the binding of METTL14 to miR-19a.M6A modification levels and METTL14 methylation transferase were significantly overexpressed in ASVEC. Silencing METTL14 inhibited the proliferation and invasion of ASVEC. Low expression of METTL14 suppressed the binding of methylated RNA and RNA splicing related protein DGCR8. Moreover, silencing METTL14 significantly inhibited the expression of miR-19a while promoted the expression of primary pre-miR-19a. However, high expression of METTL14 obviously increased the expression of DGCR8 and methylated m6A. Furthermore, silencing miR-19a inhibited the proliferation and invasion of ASVEC.METTL14 increased the M6A modification of pri-miR-19a and promoted the processing of mature miR-19a, thus promoting the proliferation and invasion of ASVEC. These results suggested that METTL14/ M6A/ miR-19a signaling pathway may be a new target for atherosclerosis treatment.

Nuclear Theory ,Nuclear Experiment - Abstract
Background: Detailed spectroscopy of neutron-rich odd-A Cu isotopes is of great importance for studying the shell evolution in the region of 78Ni. While there is experimental information on excited states in 69−73,77,79Cu isotopes, the information concerning 75Cu is very limited. Purpose: Experimentally observed single-particle, core-coupling, and proton-hole intruder states in 75Cu, will complete the systematics of these states in the chain of isotopes. Method: Excited states in 75Cu were populated in the β decay of 75Ni isotopes. The Ni nuclei were produced by the in-flight fission of 238U projectiles, and were separated, identified, and implanted in a highly segmented Si detector array for the detection of the β-decay electrons. The β-delayed γ rays were detected in a HPGe cluster array. Monte Carlo shell model calculations were performed using the A3DA interaction built on the pfg9/2d5/2 model space for both neutrons and protons. Results: A level scheme of 75Cu was built up to ≈4 MeV by performing a γ−γ coincidence analysis. The excited states below 2 MeV were interpreted based on the systematics of neutron-rich odd-A Cu isotopes and the results of the shell model calculations. Conclusions: The evolution of the single-particle, core-coupling, and proton-hole intruder states in the chain of neutron-rich odd-A Cu isotopes is discussed in the present work, in connection with the newly observed level structure of 75Cu.

Interlayered rock mass composed of green schist and marble is widely observed in China, such as the Jinping II hydropower project site in Sichuan Province. Its mechanical behaviors are of importance for the overall project stability. Unfortunately, for most cases, field or laboratory tests seeking to truly represent the mechanical behaviors of interlayered rock mass under dynamic loading condition is very difficult. In order to understand its mechanical performances under loading and unloading conditions, a numerical modeling was conducted to analyze its mechanical characteristics using soft package PFC2D. The numerical results show that (a) the inclined angle of interlayered rock mass has a major effect on the strength of rock specimen under triaxial compression loading, and the minimal compressive strength was generally observed at an orientation angle of 30°–45°. However, the influence of marble component on the strength of interlayered rock mass is not clear when the inclined angle is in the range of 30°–45°. (b) When neither the confining pressure nor the marble composition is varied, few cracks were generated at inclined angle of 45° than that at other angles under triaxial compression loading condition, and the micro-crack is basically characterized by shearing failure. (c) When the inclined angle increases from 0° to 90°, the minimum principal stress increases first and then decreases under unloading confining pressure, and the minimum principal stress reaches peak at an inclined angle of 45°. (d) Crack development and failure mode of interlayered rock mass are mainly influenced by the rock material properties, particles arrangement and rock layer distribution, whilst the stress path has no effect on crack development and failure mode of interlayered rock mass.

Magnetoelectric multiferroic fluids composed of BaTiO3@CoFe2O4 composite nanoparticles dispersed in a highly insulating nonpolar oleic acid/silicone oil mixture have been developed. The effects of the particle volume fraction and a magnetic field, as well as an electric field, on the ferroelectric and magnetic properties, as well as the magnetoelectric coupling effect, have been systematically studied and discussed in this paper. Magnetic characterization shows an approximation to superparamagnetism, and both the remanent magnetization (Mr) and the coercive field (Hc) increase with increases in the volume fraction and applied electric field. Similarly, a superparaelectric state has been observed in the multiferroic fluids, in which both the remanent polarization (Pr) and the coercive field (Ec) are near zero, whereas they increase with increases in the applied magnetic field and volume fraction. High converse and direct magnetoelectric coupling coefficients are estimated to be αH = 8.16 × 10−4 (Oe cm) V−1 and αE = 1.58 × 104 V (cm Oe)−1, respectively. Further analysis indicates that the composite particles can be aligned under an external magnetic/electric field so that their magnetic/electric moments can be parallel to the external field, which in turn results in changes in the magnetization/polarization directions. These results imply that besides magnetoelectric fluids that consist of core/shell-structured nanoparticles, conventional multiferroic fluids based on composite particles may provide an opportunity to gain electrical control of magnetization and vice versa, which implies potential applications.

Orthorhombic polycrystalline RCu 2 (R=Tb, Dy, Ho and Er) compounds were synthesized and the magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) were investigated in detail. All of the RCu 2 compounds are antiferromagnetic (AFM) ordered. As temperature increases, RCu 2 compounds undergo an AFM to AFM transition at T t and an AFM to paramagnetic (PM) transition at T N . Besides of the normal MCE around T N , large inverse MCE around T t was found in TbCu 2 compound. Under a field change of 0–7 T, the maximal value of inverse MCE is even larger than the value of normal MCE around T N for TbCu 2 compound. Considering of the normal and inverse MCE, TbCu 2 shows the largest refrigerant capacity among the RCu 2 (R=Tb, Dy, Ho and Er) compounds indicating its potential applications in low temperature multistage refrigeration.
