1. Low-cycle fatigue mechanical behavior of 30CrMo steel under hydrogen environment and numerical verification of chaboche model

Abstract: In order to investigate the fatigue behavior of the hydrogen storage material, 30CrMo steel, in a hydrogen environment, an electrochemical hydrogen charging method was employed. Low-cycle fatigue experiments were conducted on the material to obtain half-life stress–strain hysteresis curves, cyclic response characteristics, and strain-life relationships under different hydrogen charging durations. The results indicate that the material exhibited an overall cyclic softening behavior, transitioning from ductile fracture to brittle fracture after hydrogen charging, resulting in a significant reduction in fatigue life. The Manson-Coffin formula was fitted based on material cyclic response characteristics and strain-life relationship curves. Additionally, fatigue toughness and Chaboche kinematic hardening models were fitted based on low-cycle fatigue test data. Finite element analysis was used to validate the accuracy and reliability of the Chaboche kinematic hardening model. The Chaboche kinematic hardening model showed minimal error compared to experimental data and accurately described the influence of hydrogen on the low-cycle fatigue mechanical behavior of 30CrMo steel.

Abstract: The objective of the work is to evaluate the feasibility of improving selective stimulation and reducing muscle fatigue in upper extremity rehabilitation with a self-designed multi-site functional electrical stimulation (FES) prototype. The design of the prototype is a distributed architecture concept, and all the modules communicate within a single local area network controlled by the Android application (APP). To improve the efficiency of the prototype, the APP was developed to utilize a simple online algorithm to perform a rapid real-time search for the optimal stimulation site. One healthy subject participated in a multi-site FES trial consisting of a search for the optimal stimulating electrode test and a fatigue stimulation test. Comparing the results of the online automatic search for the optimal stimulation site test with the results of the offline analysis, the average Location Error for the extension and flexion motions were 1.5 cm and 2.8 cm, respectively. For the fatigue stimulation test, all the assessments of the multi-site sequential stimulation group were higher than those of the conventional stimulation, with a significant 193% higher Fatigue Index (P=0.003) and 300% longer Fatigue Time (P=0.005). These results suggest that multi-site FES may exert positive effects on selective stimulation and stimulation fatigue reduction in healthy subjects.

Abstract: Abstract Using a sample of $$1.31\times 10^{9} ~J/\psi $$ 1.31×109J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform a study of $$J/\psi \rightarrow \gamma K{\bar{K}}\eta '$$ J/ψ→γKK¯η′ . X(2370) is observed in the $$K{\bar{K}}\eta '$$ KK¯η′ invariant-mass distribution with a statistical significance of $$8.3\sigma $$ 8.3σ . Its resonance parameters are measured to be $$M=2341.6\pm 6.5 \, \text {(stat.)} \pm 5.7 \, \text {(syst.)}~ \hbox {MeV}/c^{2}$$ M=2341.6±6.5(stat.)±5.7(syst.)MeV/c2 and $$\Gamma = 117\pm 10 \, \text {(stat.)}\pm 8 \, \text {(syst.)}~\hbox {MeV}$$ Γ=117±10(stat.)±8(syst.)MeV . The product branching fractions for $$J/\psi \rightarrow \gamma X(2370),X(2370)\rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}\eta '$$ J/ψ→γX(2370),X(2370)→K+K-η′ and $$J/\psi \rightarrow \gamma X(2370),X(2370)\rightarrow K_{S}^{0}K_{S}^{0}\eta '$$ J/ψ→γX(2370),X(2370)→KS0KS0η′ are determined to be $$(1.79\pm 0.23\, \text {(stat.)}\pm 0.65\,\text {(syst.)})\times 10^{-5}$$ (1.79±0.23(stat.)±0.65(syst.))×10-5 and $$(1.18\pm 0.32\, \text {(stat.)}\pm 0.39\, \text {(syst.)})\times 10^{-5}$$ (1.18±0.32(stat.)±0.39(syst.))×10-5 , respectively. No evident signal for X(2120) is observed in the $$K{\bar{K}}\eta '$$ KK¯η′ invariant-mass distribution. The upper limits for the product branching fractions of $${\mathcal {B}}(J/\psi \rightarrow \gamma X(2120)\rightarrow \gamma K^{+} K^{-} \eta ')$$ B(J/ψ→γX(2120)→γK+K-η′) and $${\mathcal {B}}(J/\psi \rightarrow \gamma X(2120)\rightarrow \gamma K_{S}^{0} K_{S}^{0} \eta ')$$ B(J/ψ→γX(2120)→γKS0KS0η′) are determined to be $$1.49\times 10^{-5}$$ 1.49×10-5 and $$6.38\times 10^{-6}$$ 6.38×10-6 at the 90% confidence level, respectively.

6. Improvement of FFD parametric approach in the application of a lifting body

Abstract: FFD (free-form deformation method) is one of the most commonly used parameterisation methods at present. It places the parameterised objects inside the control volume through coordinate system transformation, and controls the control volume through control points, thus realising the deformation control of its internal objects. Firstly, this paper systematically analyses and compares the characteristics and technical requirements of Bernstein, B-spline and NURBS (non-uniform rational b-splines) basic functions that can be adopted by FFD, and uses the minimum number of control points required to achieve the specified control effect threshold to express the control capability. Aiming at the problem of discontinuity at the right end in the actual calculation of B-spline basis function, a method of adding a small epsilon is proposed to solve it. Then, three basic functions are applied to the FFD parameterisation method, respectively, and the differences are compared from two aspects of the accurate expression of the model and the ability of deformation control. It is found that the BFFD (b-spline free-form deformation) approach owns better comprehensive performance when the control points are distributed correctly. In this paper, the BFFD method is improved, and a p-BFFD (reverse solution points based BFFD) method based on inverse solution is proposed to realise the free distribution of control points under the specified topology. Further, for the lifting body configuration, the control points of the p-BFFD method are brought closer to the airframe forming the EDGE-p-BFFD (edge constraints based p-BFFD) method. For the case in this paper, the proposed EDGE-p-BFFD method not only has fairly high parameterisation accuracy, but also reduces the expression error from 1.01E-3 to 1.25E-4, which is nearly ten times. It can also achieve effective lifting body guideline constraints, and has the ability of local deformation adapting to the configuration characteristics. In terms of the proportion of effective control points, the EDGE-p-BFFD method increases the proportion of effective control points from 36.7% to 50%, and the more control points, the more obvious the proportion increase effect. The new method also has better effect on the continuity of geometric deformation. At the same time, this paper introduces the independent deformation method of the upper and lower surfaces based on the double control body frames, which effectively avoids the deformation coupling problem of the simultaneous change of the upper and lower surfaces caused by the movement of control points in the traditional single control framework.

11. Study on the monitoring and classification of winter wheat freezing injury in spring based on 3S technology

Abstract: Frequent freezing injury greatly influences winter wheat production; thus, effective prevention and a command of agricultural production are vital. The freezing injury monitoring method integrated with ‘3S’ (geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning system (GPS) and remote sensing (RS)) technology has an unparalleled advantage. Using HuanJing (HJ)-1A/1B satellite images of a winter wheat field in Shanxi Province, China plus a field survey, crop types and winter wheat planting area were identified through repeated visual interpretations of image information and spatial analyses conducted in GIS. Six vegetation indices were extracted from processed HJ-1A/1B satellite images to determine whether the winter wheat suffered from freezing injury and its degree of severity and recovery, using change vector analysis (CVA), the freeze injury representative vegetation index and the combination of the two methods, respectively. Accuracy of the freezing damage classification results was verified by determining the impact of freezing damage on yield and quantitative analysis. The CVA and the change of normalized difference vegetation index (ΔNDVI) monitoring results were different so a comprehensive analysis of the combination of CVA and ΔNDVI was performed. The area with serious freezing injury covered 0.9% of the total study area, followed by the area of no freezing injury (3.5%), moderate freezing injury (10.2%) and light freezing injury (85.4%). Of the moderate and serious freezing injury areas, 0.2% did not recover; 1.2% of the no freezing injury and light freezing injury areas showed optimal recovery, 15.6% of the light freezing injury and moderate freezing injury areas showed poor recovery, and the remaining areas exhibited general recovery.

Abstract: The purpose was to discuss the infection status of human parainfluenza virus type 3 (HPIV-3) in children with acute respiratory tract infection(ARTI) in Qingdao, Shandong province, and to analyze the gene characteristics of HPIV-3 hemagglutinin-neuraminidase protein (HN). This study was a cross-sectional study. A total of 1 674 throat swab samples were collected randomly from children with ARTI, in the three hospitals (Qingdao Women and Children's Hospital, West Coast Branch of Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, Laoshan Branch of Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University) from January 2018 to December 2019. Multiplex real-time fluorescence RT-PCR was performed to screen HPIV-3 positive specimens. For HPIV-3 positive specimens, nested PCR was used to amplify the full-length HN gene of HPIV-3. The HN gene was sequenced and compared with the representative strains of HPIV-3 in GenBank, and the phylogenetic tree was established. As results, this study collected 1 674 samples, in which there were 90 HPIV-3 positive samples showed and the detection rate was 5.37%. Among positive specimens, the number of samples from children under 6 years old was 88, accounting for 97.78%. HPIV-3 positive cases were mainly distributed in spring and summer. The full-length sequences of 44 HPIV-3 HN genes were obtained by nested PCR method. Sequence alignment and evolutionary analysis showed that the HPIV-3HN gene belonged to the C3a and C3b branches of C3 genotype, with 30 strains of subtype C3a and 14 strains of subtype C3b. The nucleotide and amino acid homology of the amplified 44 strains of the HPIV-3 HN gene in Qingdao were 97.0%-100.0% and 98.5%-100.0%, respectively. In conclusion, from 2018 to 2019, the C3a and C3b branches of HPIV-3 C3 genotype were circulating prevalent in Qingdao, Shandong province. HN gene variation rate was low, but showed certain regional characteristics in evolution.探讨山东省青岛市地区急性呼吸道感染患儿人副流感病毒3型（HPIV-3）的感染情况，并分析HPIV-3血凝素-神经氨酸酶蛋白（HN）基因特征。本研究为横断面研究，青岛市妇女儿童医院、青岛大学附属医院西海岸院区及崂山院区在2018年1月至2019 年12月期间，每月随机采集急性呼吸道感染（ARTI）儿科患者的咽拭子样本，总共1 674份，采用多重实时荧光逆转录-聚合酶链反应（RT-PCR）方法，筛查HPIV-3阳性样本。采用巢式PCR方法扩增HPIV-3阳性样本HN全长基因并进行序列测定，序列结果与GenBank中HPIV-3的代表株进行对比分析，建立系统进化树。结果显示，1 674份咽拭子样本中，HPIV-3阳性有90份，检出率为5.37%，其中，6岁以下儿童占97.78%（88份）。HPIV-3阳性病例主要分布在春季和夏季。通过巢式PCR方法扩增得到44株HPIV-3 HN基因全长序列，序列比对及进化分析表明，HPIV-3 HN基因属于C3基因亚型的C3a和C3b分支，其中，C3a亚型有30株，C3b亚型有14株。44株青岛分离株之间的核苷酸和氨基酸同源性分别为97.0%~100.0%和98.5%~100.0%。综上，2018至2019年间，HPIV-3 C3基因型的C3a和C3b分支在山东省青岛市地区循环流行，其HN基因型变异较小，进化上具有一定的地域特征。.

Abstract: The objective of the work is to evaluate the feasibility of improving selective stimulation and reducing muscle fatigue in upper extremity rehabilitation with a self-designed multi-site functional electrical stimulation (FES) prototype. The design of the prototype is a distributed architecture concept, and all the modules communicate within a single local area network controlled by the Android application (APP). To improve the efficiency of the prototype, the APP was developed to utilize a simple online algorithm to perform a rapid real-time search for the optimal stimulation site. One healthy subject participated in a multi-site FES trial consisting of a search for the optimal stimulating electrode test and a fatigue stimulation test. Comparing the results of the online automatic search for the optimal stimulation site test with the results of the offline analysis, the average Location Error for the extension and flexion motions were 1.5 cm and 2.8 cm, respectively. For the fatigue stimulation test, all the assessments of the multi-site sequential stimulation group were higher than those of the conventional stimulation, with a significant 193% higher Fatigue Index (P=0.003) and 300% longer Fatigue Time (P=0.005). These results suggest that multi-site FES may exert positive effects on selective stimulation and stimulation fatigue reduction in healthy subjects.

16. Spin polarization of 87Rb atoms with ultranarrow linewidth diode laser: Numerical simulation

Abstract: In order to polarize 87Rb vapor effectively with ultranarrow linewidth diode laser, we studied the polarization as a function of some parameters including buffer gas pressure and laser power. Moreover, we also discussed the methods which split or modulate the diode laser frequency so as to pump the two ground hyperfine levels efficiently. We obtained some useful results through numerical simulation. If the buffer gas pressure is so high that the hyperfine structure is unresolved, the polarization is insensitive to laser frequency at peak absorption point so frequency splitting and frequency modulation methods do not show improvement. At low pressure and laser power large enough, where the hyperfine structure is clearly resolved, frequency splitting and frequency modulation methods can increase polarization effectively. For laser diodes, frequency modulation is easily realized with current modulation, so this method is attractive since it does not add any other components in the pumping laser system.

Abstract: ExPEC is an important pathogen that causes diverse infection in the human extraintestinal sites. Although avian-source phylogroup F Escherichia coli isolates hold a high level of virulence traits, few studies have systematically assessed the pathogenicity and zoonotic potential of E. coli isolates within phylogroup F. A total of 1,332 E. coli strains were recovered from chicken colibacillosis in China from 2012 to 2017. About 21.7% of chicken-source E. coli isolates were presented in phylogroup F. We characterized phylogroup F E. coli isolates both genotypically and phenotypically. There was a widespread prevalence of ExPEC virulence-related genes among chicken-source E. coli isolates within phylogroup F. ColV/BM plasmid-related genes (i.e. hlyF, mig-14p, ompTp, iutA and tsh) occurred in the nearly 65% of phylogroup F E. coli isolates. Population structure of chicken-source E. coli isolates within phylogroup F was revealed and contained several dominant STs (such as ST59, ST354, ST362, ST405, ST457 and ST648). Most chicken-source phylogroup F E. coli held the property to produce biofilm and exhibited strongly swimming and swarming motilities. Our result showed that the complement resistance of phylogroup F E. coli isolates was closely associated with its virulence genotype. Our research further demonstrated the zoonotic potential of chicken-source phylogroup F E. coli isolates. The phylogroup F E. coli isolates were able to cause multiple diseases in animal models of avian colibacillosis and human infections (sepsis, meningitis and UTI). The chicken-source phylogroup F isolates, especially dominant ST types, might be recognized as a high-risk food-borne pathogen. This was the first study to identify that chicken-source E. coli isolates within phylogroup F were associated with human ExPEC pathotypes and exhibited zoonotic potential.

Abstract: The halophyte Kalidium foliatum (Pall.) Moq. exhibits strong tolerance to salinity. Salt stress leads to reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, and high contents of ROS are harmful to plants. The phospholipid hydroperoxide glutathione peroxidase (PHGPx) responds positively to damage induced by ROS. To understand the mechanism of tolerance to salt stress in halophytes, a PHGPx gene of K. foliatum was cloned, and its expression pattern was analysed under salt treatment. Treatments of whole plants were carried out with 0, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 or 400 mM sodium chloride for 72 h. The extraction of total RNA from 4‑month-old seedlings was conducted using the leaves of both treated and untreated plants. The full-length cDNA of KfPHGPx was cloned with reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR), the KfPHGPx expression patterns were analysed using semi-quantitative RT-PCR and real-time PCR, and the activities of phospholipid hydroperoxide glutathione peroxidase enzyme in K. foliatum were examined. The full-length cDNA clone encoding the full-length sequence consisted of 714 bp of nucleotides and included an open reading frame (ORF) that encoded a polypeptide of 237 amino acids. The deduced amino acid sequence of the KfPHGPx gene has significant similarity with Spinacia oleracea (XP_021837527.1) and Sesuvium portulacastrum (ADE07246.1). The semi-quantitative RT-PCR and real-time PCR analyse showed that KfPHGPx expression can be markedly induced by moderate salt treatment.

Abstract: As a member of a subclass of immunophilins, it is controversial that FKBP38 acts an upstream regulator of mTOR signaling pathway, which control the process of cell-growth, proliferation and differentiation. In order to explore the relationship between FKBP38 and mTOR in the Cashmere goat (Capra hircus) cells, a full-length cDNA was cloned (GenBank accession number JF714970) and expression pattern was analyzed. The cloned FKBP38 gene is 1,248 bp in length, containing an open reading frame (ORF) from nucleotide 13 to 1,248 which encodes 411 amino acids, and 12 nucleotides in front of the initiation codon. The full cDNA sequence shares 98% identity with cattle, 94% with horse and 90% with human. The putative amino acid sequence shows the higher homology which is 98%, 97% and 94%, correspondingly. The bioinformatics analysis showed that FKBP38 contained a FKBP_C domain, two TPR domains and a TM domain. Psite analysis suggested that the ORF encoding protein contained a leucine-zipper pattern and a Prenyl group binding site (CAAX box). Tissue-specific expression analysis was performed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and showed that the FKBP38 expression was detected in all the tested tissues and the highest level of mRNA accumulation was detected in testis, suggesting that FKBP38 plays an important role in goat cells.

Abstract: Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein-5 (IGFBP-5) is one of the six members of IGFBP family, important for cell growth, apoptosis and other IGF-stimulated signaling pathways. In order to explore the significance of IGFBP-5 in cells of the Inner Mongolian Cashmere goat (Capra hircus), IGFBP-5 gene complementary DNA (cDNA) was amplified by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) from the animal’s fetal fibroblasts and tissue-specific expression analysis was performed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. The gene is 816 base pairs (bp) in length and includes the complete open reading frame, encoding 271 amino acids (GenBank accession number JF720883). The full cDNA nucleotide sequence has a 99% identity with sheep, 98% with cattle and 95% with human. The amino acids sequence shares identity with 99%, 99% and 99%, respectively. The bioinformatics analysis showed that IGFBP-5 has an insulin growth factor-binding protein homologues (IB) domain and a thyroglobulin type-1 (TY) domain, four protein kinase C phosphorylation sites, five casein kinase II phosphorylation sites, three prenyl group binding sites (CaaX box). The IGFBP-5 gene was expressed in all the tested tissues including testis, brain, liver, lung, mammary gland, spleen, and kidney, suggesting that IGFBP-5 plays an important role in goat cells.

Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effects of two different femoral cortical suspension devices (fixation loop and adjustable loop) on tunnel widening and knee function in patients following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction for 12 months. METHODS: A total of 60 patients who had undergone anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were included in this study. According to the length of the loop(n)[n= total length of loop-(total length of femoral tunnel-total length of coarse tunnel)] in the rough bone tunnel, the patients were divided into A (adjustable loop was 0 mm in the coarse bone tunnel), B (fixation loop was greater than 0 mm and less than or equal to 10 mm in the coarse bone tunnel) and C (fixation loop was greater than 10 mm in the coarse bone tunnel) groups, of which 11 cases were in group A, 27 cases in group B and 22 cases in group C. In the three-dimensional reconstruction of the knee joint with multi-slice spiral CT, the widening of the bone tunnel in the three groups was compared. At the same time, IKDC, Lysholm and Tegner scores of the patients in the three groups were compared. RESULTS: There were differences in the widening degree of the femoral canal among groups A, B and C, and the median difference of the widening degree of the femoral tunnel 12 months and immediately after the surgery was A < B < C. The difference of femoral canal widening in group A was significantly different from that in groups B and C (P < 0.05).According to the linear regression the relationship between the difference of the width of the femoral canal and the change of the length (n) of the loop in the coarse canal, it was found that there was a linear relationship between the value of n and the difference of the width of the bone canal. With the increase of the value of n, the difference of the width of the bone canal gradually became larger. The median difference of the width of the middle and superior tunnel was negative, while the median difference of the width of the middle and inferior tunnel was positive. During the follow-up, we found that there were no statistical differences in IKDC, Lysholm and Tegner scores among the three groups one year after surgery (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Twelve months after surgery, compared with group B (fixed loop group) and group C (fixed loop group), group A (adjustable loop group) had less bone tunnel widening.In groups A, B and C, as the length of the loop in coarse bone tunnel gradually increased, the width of bone tunnel became more significant. At the end of 12 months follow-up after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, the medial and inferior femoral tunnel was significantly wider than immediately after surgery, and the medial and superior femoral tunnel had gradually begun to undergo tendon-bone healing. There was no significant difference in knee function scores among groups A, B, and C in the follow-up 12 months after surgery.

Abstract: LFEW is a low frequency electromagnetic wave detector mounted on TC-2, which can measure the magnetic fluctuation of low frequency electromagnetic waves. The frequency range is 8 Hz to 10 kHz. LFEW comprises a boom-mounted, three-axis search coil magnetometer, a preamplifier and an electronics box that houses a Digital Spectrum Analyzer. LFEW was calibrated at Chambon-la-Forêt in France. The ground calibration results show that the performance of LFEW is similar to that of STAFF on TC-1. The first results of LFEW show that it works normally on board, and that the AC magnetic interference of the satellite platform is very small. In the plasmasphere, LFEW observed the ion cyclotron waves. During the geomagnetic storm on 8 November 2004, LFEW observed a wave burst associated with the oxygen ion cyclotron waves. This observation shows that during geomagnetic storms, the oxygen ions are very active in the inner magnetosphere. Outside the plasmasphere, LFEW observed the chorus on 3 November 2004. LFEW also observed the plasmaspheric hiss and mid-latitude hiss both in the Southern Hemisphere and Northern Hemisphere on 8 November 2004. The hiss in the Southern Hemisphere may be the reflected waves of the hiss in the Northern Hemisphere.

Abstract: Pairing symmetry which characterizes the superconducting pairing mechanism is normally determined by measuring the superconducting gap structure ($|{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}}_{k}|$). Here, we report the measurement of a strain-induced gap modulation ($\ensuremath{\partial}|{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}}_{k}|$) in uniaxially strained ${\mathrm{Ba}}_{0.6}{\mathrm{K}}_{0.4}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{2}{\mathrm{As}}_{2}$ utilizing angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy and in situ strain tuning. We found that the uniaxial strain drives ${\mathrm{Ba}}_{0.6}{\mathrm{K}}_{0.4}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{2}{\mathrm{As}}_{2}$ into a nematic superconducting state which breaks the fourfold rotational symmetry of the superconducting pairing. The superconducting gap increases on the ${d}_{yz}$ electron and hole pockets while it decreases on the ${d}_{xz}$ counterparts. Such orbital selectivity indicates that orbital-selective pairing exists intrinsically in non-nematic iron-based superconductors. The ${d}_{xz}$ and ${d}_{yz}$ pairing channels are balanced originally in the pristine superconducting state, but become imbalanced under uniaxial strain. Our results highlight the important role of intraorbital scattering in mediating the superconducting pairing in iron-based superconductors. It also highlights the measurement of $\ensuremath{\partial}|{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}}_{k}|$ as an effective way to characterize the superconducting pairing from a perturbation perspective.

Abstract: The extended-spectrum cephalosporin resistant E. coli from food animals transferring to community settings of humans causes a serious threat to public health. Unlike phylogroup B2 E. coli strains, the clinical significance of isolates in phylogroup F is not well revealed. Here, we report on a collection (n = 563) of phylogroup F E. coli isolates recovered from chicken colibacillosis tissues and retail raw chicken meat samples in Eastern China. There was an overlapped distribution of MLST types between chicken colibacillosis-origin and meat-source phylogroup F E. coli, including dominant STs (ST648, ST405, ST457, ST393, ST1158, etc). This study further investigated the presence of extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL/pAmpC) producers in these chicken-source phylogroup F E. coli strains. The prevalence of extended-spectrum cephalosporin resistant strains in phylogroup F E. coli from chicken colibacillosis and raw meat separately accounted for 66.1 and 71.2%. The resistance genotypes and plasmid replicon types of chicken-source phylogroup F E. coli isolates were characterized by multiplex PCR. Our results revealed β-lactamase CTX-M, OXA, CMY and TEM genes were widespread in chicken-source phylogroup F E. coli, and blaCTX-M was the most predominant ESBL gene. Moreover, there was a high prevalence of non-lactamase resistance genes in these β-lactam-resistant isolates. The replicons IncB/O/K/Z, IncI1, IncN, IncFIC, IncQ1, IncX4, IncY, and p0111, associated with antibiotic-resistant large plasmids, were widespread in chicken-source phylogroup F E. coli. There was no obvious difference for the populations, resistance spectrums, and resistance genotypes between phylogroup F E. coli from chicken colibacillosis tissues and retail meats. This detail assessment of the population and resistance genotype showed chicken-source phylogroup F E. coli might hold zoonotic risk and contribute the spread of multidrug-resistant E. coli to humans.

Abstract: Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) is considered to be a crucial gene in the animal development of bone and body size. In this study, a unique synonymous mutation (c.258 A > G) of the IGF-1 gene was modified with an adenine base editor to observe the growth and developmental situation of mutant mice. Significant expression differences and molecular mechanisms among vectors with different alanine synonymous codons were explored. Although modification of a single synonymous codon rarely interferes with animal phenotypes, we observed that the expression and secretion of IGF-1 were different between 8-week-old homozygous (Ho) and wild-type (WT) mice. In addition, the IGF-1 with optimal codon combinations showed a higher expression content than other codon combination modes at both transcription and translation levels and performed proliferation promotion. The gene stability and translation initiation efficiency also changed significantly. Our findings illustrated that the synonymous mutation altered the IGF-1 gene expression in individual mice and suggested that the synonymous mutation affected the IGF-1 expression and biological function through the transcription and translation processes., Graphical abstract, This research reveals the effect of a1 synonymous mutation in IGF-1 on the gene-expression process and its potential mechanism at both animal and cellular levels and suggests that codon collocation is of great significance in influencing gene function.

Abstract: Artificially created two-dimensional (2D) interfaces or structures are ideal for seeking exotic phase transitions due to their highly tunable carrier density and interfacially enhanced many-body interactions. Here, we report the discovery of a metal-insulator transition (MIT) and an emergent gapped phase in the metal-semiconductor interface that is created in $2\mathrm{H}\text{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$ via alkali-metal deposition. Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, we found that the electron-phonon coupling is strong at the interface as characterized by a clear observation of replica shake-off bands. Such strong electron-phonon coupling interplays with disorder scattering, leading to an Anderson localization of polarons which could explain the MIT. The domelike emergent gapped phase could then be attributed to a polaron extended state or phonon-mediated superconductivity. Our results demonstrate the capability of alkali-metal deposition as an effective method to enhance the many-body interactions in 2D semiconductors. The surface-doped $2\mathrm{H}\text{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$ is a promising candidate for realizing polaronic insulator and high-${T}_{c}$ superconductivity.

Abstract: Using data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider, we search for the process $e^+e^-\rightarrow \eta_c\eta \pi^+\pi^-$. The search is performed using five large data sets recorded at center-of-mass energies of 4.23, 4.26, 4.36, 4.42, and 4.60 GeV. The $\eta_c$ meson is reconstructed in 16 exclusive decay modes. No signal is observed in the $\eta_c$ mass region at any center-of-mass energy. The upper limits on the reaction cross sections are determined to be 6.2, 10.8, 27.6, 22.6 and 23.7 pb at the 90% confidence level at the center-of-mass energies listed above.

Abstract: When passing through a phase transition, electronic system saves energy by opening energy gaps at the Fermi level. Delineating the energy gap anisotropy provides insights into the origin of the interactions that drive the phase transition. Here, we report the angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) study on the detailed gap anisotropies in both the tetragonal magnetic and superconducting phases in Sr$_{1-x}$Na$_x$Fe$_2$As$_2$. First, we found that the spin-density-wave (SDW) gap is strongly anisotropic in the tetragonal magnetic phase. The gap magnitude correlates with the orbital character of Fermi surface closely. Second, we found that the SDW gap anisotropy is isostructural to the superconducting gap anisotropy regarding to the angular dependence, gap minima locations, and relative gap magnitudes. Our results indicate that the superconducting pairing interaction and magnetic interaction share the same origin. 35. Knockdown of FOXM1 suppresses cell growth and metastasis in human laryngeal cancer via the AKT signaling pathway

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the potential regulatory effect of forkhead box M1 (FOXM1) on laryngeal carcinoma (LC) and the underlying mechanisms.Tumor tissues were obtained from 80 patients diagnosed with LC in our hospital. Quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) and Western blot analysis were used to detect the expression levels of FOXM1 in LC tissues and cell lines. Transfection of small interfering RNA (si-RNA) was conducted to knockdown the expression level of FOXM1. MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) assay and cell colony assay were conducted to measure the changes in cell proliferation capacity influenced by FOXM1. Finally, invasion and migration ability was evaluated by the transwell assay.FOXM1 was found upregulated in LC tissues and cells. Transfection of FOXM1 siRNA in LC cells successfully inhibited the expression of FOXM1. The knockdown of FOXM1 resulted in reduced proliferation, invasion, and migration of LC cells. Further studies indicated that the knockdown of FOXM1 suppressed the ratio of p-AKT/AKT. Besides, the impaired proliferation, invasion, and migration of LC cells induced by FOXM1 knockdown could be counteracted by application of the AKT activator Sc79.The present work demonstrated that the knockdown of FOXM1 suppressed the proliferation, invasion, and migration of LC cells by the AKT signaling pathway.

Abstract: To elucidate the role of microRNA-34c-5p (miRNA-34c-5p) in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and the indicated mechanism.Relative levels of miRNA-34c-5p and FAM83A in HCC tissues and cell lines were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Their influences on clinical features in HCC patients were analyzed. Kaplan-Meier method was introduced for assessing the relationship between miRNA-34c-5p and overall survival in HCC. After overexpression of miRNA-34c-5p in HepG2 and HB611 cells, we detected proliferative, migratory and invasive abilities by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) and transwell assay. The interaction between miRNA-34c-5p and FAM83A was explored by Dual-Luciferase reporter assay. Finally, their co-regulation on HCC cell phenotypes was examined.MiRNA-34c-5p was downregulated in HCC tissues, especially stage III+IV cases. Its level was correlated to tumor size, tumor number and TNM staging in HCC. Overexpression of miRNA-34c-5p inhibited proliferative, migratory and invasive abilities in HepG2 and HB611 cells. In addition, miRNA-34c-5p targeted on FAM83A and negatively regulated its level. Overexpression of FAM83A could reverse the inhibitory effects of miRNA-34c-5p on malignant phenotypes of HCC cells.By negatively regulating FAM83A level, miRNA-34c-5p alleviates the progression of HCC.

Abstract: We report the most precise measurements to date of the strong-phase parameters between D^{0} and D[over ¯]^{0} decays to K_{S,L}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} using a sample of 2.93 fb^{-1} of e^{+}e^{-} annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. Our results provide the key inputs for a binned model-independent determination of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle γ/ϕ_{3} with B decays. Using our results, the decay model sensitivity to the γ/ϕ_{3} measurement is expected to be between 0.7° and 1.2°, approximately a factor of three smaller than that achievable with previous measurements, based on the studies of the simulated data. The improved precision of this work ensures that measurements of γ/ϕ_{3} will not be limited by knowledge of strong phases for the next decade. Furthermore, our results provide critical input for other flavor-physics investigations, including charm mixing, other measurements of CP violation, and the measurement of strong-phase parameters for other D-decay modes.

Abstract: To explore the expression and biological functions of linc00337 in colorectal cancer (CRC), as well as its underlying mechanism.The relative expression of linc00337 in 47 cases of CRC tissues and cells was detected via quantitative Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR). The si-linc00337 interference sequences were designed and transiently transfected into CRC cells. The interference efficiency was detected via qRT-PCR. Regulatory effect of linc00337 on proliferation of CRC cells was detected via colony formation assay. Cell cycle distribution and apoptosis rate after interference in linc00337 expression were determined using flow cytometry. Moreover, the effects of linc00337 knockdown on cell migration and invasion were detected using transwell assay. At last, the effect of si-linc00337 on the MEK/ERK signaling pathway was detected using Western blotting.The results of qRT-PCR showed that among the 47 cases of CRC tissues, the expression of linc00337 was up-regulated in 40 cases. Similarly, it was highly expressed in CRC cell lines. The results of colony formation assay manifested that cell proliferation declined after interference in linc00337 expression. The results of flow cytometry and transwell assay showed that interference in linc00337 expression arrested the cell cycle in G1/G0 phase, increased the apoptosis rate, and inhibited the invasion and migration of CRC cells. According to the results of Western blotting, expressions of molecular markers in the MEK/ERK pathway after interference in linc00337 expression were significantly changed.Linc00337 is up-regulated in CRC tissues and cells. Interference in linc00337 expression can inhibit cell proliferation, migration, and invasion and promote apoptosis through the MEK/ERK pathway.

Abstract: A partial-wave analysis is performed for the process e^{+}e^{-}→K^{+}K^{-}π^{0}π^{0} at the center-of-mass energies ranging from 2.000 to 2.644 GeV. The data samples of e^{+}e^{-} collisions, collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider with a total integrated luminosity of 300 pb^{-1}, are analyzed. The total Born cross sections for the process e^{+}e^{-}→K^{+}K^{-}π^{0}π^{0}, as well as the Born cross sections for the subprocesses e^{+}e^{-}→ϕπ^{0}π^{0}, K^{+}(1460)K^{-}, K_{1}^{+}(1400)K^{-}, K_{1}^{+}(1270)K^{-}, and K^{*+}(892)K^{*-}(892), are measured versus the center-of-mass energy. The corresponding results for e^{+}e^{-}→K^{+}K^{-}π^{0}π^{0} and ϕπ^{0}π^{0} are consistent with those of BABAR with better precision. By analyzing the cross sections for the four subprocesses, K^{+}(1460)K^{-}, K_{1}^{+}(1400)K^{-}, K_{1}^{+}(1270)K^{-}, and K^{*+}(892)K^{*-}(892), a structure with mass M=(2126.5±16.8±12.4) MeV/c^{2} and width Γ=(106.9±32.1±28.1) MeV is observed with an overall statistical significance of 6.3σ, although with very limited significance in the subprocesses e^{+}e^{-}→K_{1}^{+}(1270)K^{-} and K^{*+}(892)K^{*-}(892). The resonant parameters of the observed structure suggest it can be identified with the ϕ(2170), thus the results provide valuable input to the internal nature of the ϕ(2170).

Abstract: Using a sample of (448.1±2.9)×106 ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform the first partial wave analysis of ψ(3686)→K+K-η. In addition to the well established states, ϕ(1020), ϕ(1680), and K3*(1780), contributions from X(1750), ρ(2150), ρ3(2250), and K2*(1980) are also observed. The X(1750) state is determined to be a 1-- resonance. The simultaneous observation of the ϕ(1680) and X(1750) indicates that the X(1750), with previous observations in photoproduction, is distinct from the ϕ(1680). The masses, widths, branching fractions of ψ(3686)→K+K-η, and the intermediate resonances are also measured.

48. CircPSMC3 inhibits cell proliferation and induces cell apoptosis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by downregulating ROCK1

Abstract: Currently, the importance of circular RNAs in malignant tumors has attracted much attention. However, the role of circPSMC3 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) remains unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate the function of circPSMC3 in the proliferation and apoptosis of NPC and to explore its possible underlying mechanism.Real Time-quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-qPCR) was utilized to determine the level of circPSMC3 in NPC tissues and cell lines. The association between circPSMC3 expression and patients' prognosis was analyzed. CircPSMC3 lentivirus was constructed and transfected into NPC cells. Cell growth ability and apoptosis were detected through Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay, colony formation assay, and flow cytometry, respectively. Western blot was performed to analyze the target protein of circPSMC3. Furthermore, the function of circPSMC3 was explored in nude mice.CircPSMC3 was lowly expressed in NPC tissues compared with adjacent normal tissues. Low circPSMC3 expression was associated with poor prognosis of NPC patients. Meanwhile, the expression of circPSMC3 was significantly down-regulated in NPC cell lines as well. The growth ability of NPC cells was markedly inhibited after circPSMC3 was overexpressed. Overexpression of circPSMC3 significantly promoted the apoptosis of NPC cells in vitro. ROCK1 expression decreased markedly via overexpression of circPSMC3. Furthermore, tumor formation was inhibited after the up-regulation of circPSMC3 in vivo.CircPSMC3 could suppress cell growth and promote cell apoptosis in NPC by downregulating ROCK1.

Abstract: The cross section of the process e+e-→η′J/ψ is measured at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies from s=4.178 to 4.600 GeV using data samples corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 11 fb-1 collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. The dependence of the cross section on s shows an enhancement around 4.2 GeV. While the shape of the cross section cannot be fully explained with a single ψ(4160) or ψ(4260) state, a coherent sum of the two states does provide a reasonable description of the data.
