Background: A lack of research on the association of trefoil factors (TFF) with gastric cancer and premalignant lesions (PML) in the general population is an important obstacle to the application of TFFs for gastric cancer screening. We aimed to analyze the association of TFFs with gastric cancer and PMLs in a general population. Methods: We evaluated 3,986 adults residing in Wuwei, China. We collected baseline characteristics and gastric cancer risk factors, including TFFs, endoscopic diagnosis, and pathologic information. Three logistic regression models were generated to analyze the association between TFFs and gastric cancer, as well as PMLs. Adjusted odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) were calculated to determine the strength of association. Results: Compared with pepsinogen (PG) and anti–Helicobacter pylori immunoglobulin G antibody (Hp-IgG), TFFs had significant association with gastric cancer and PMLs after adjusting for biomarkers and risk factors (P < 0.05). The ORs (95% CI) for TFF1 (1.67; 1.27–2.20), TFF2 (2.66; 2.01–3.51), and TFF3 (1.32; 1.00–1.74) were larger than the ORs for PGI (0.79; 0.61–1.03), PGI/II (1.00; 0.76–1.31), and Hp-IgG (0.99; 0.73–1.35) in the gastric cancer group. In the intestinal metaplasia (IM) group, not only the TFF3 serum level was the highest, but also the OR (1.92; 1.64–2.25) was the highest. Conclusions: TFFs were associated with risk of gastric cancer and PMLs. Impact: Serum TFFs can improve the screening of high-risk populations for gastric cancer.

In this work, Co–Cu metals were used as binder phase of cemented carbides. The influence of Cu content (0.8, 1.2, 1.6, and 2.0 wt%) on microstructure and properties of WC-Co-Cu-Mo alloys was discussed compared with WC-Co and WC-Co-Mo alloys. The results showed that the relative density, hardness, and transverse rupture strength of WC-Co alloys were significantly improved, and the WC average size, wear rate and corrosion resistance were greatly decreased by adding 1.2 wt% Cu. Among them, the hardness and density of WC-Co alloy increased from 1713 HV30 and 98.83% to 1908 HV30 and 99.31%, respectively. The average WC grain size and the corrosion rate of WC-Co alloy under HCl solution decreased from 0.68 μm and 303.23 μA cm−2 to 0.53 μm and 27.32 μA cm−2, respectively. These phenomena indicated that the doping of proper Cu into WC-Co-Mo alloys could enhance the comprehensive performance of WC-Co alloy.

Functionalized carbon dots (CDs) obtained from citric acid derivative were selected as intercalator to modify graphene and then dispersed into epoxy matrix to prepare CDs modified graphene/epoxy (CDs-G/EP) coatings. Meanwhile, their microstructure, self-healing and corrosion resistance behaviors were analyzed deeply. Structural characterizations indicated the formation of “π-π” interaction between functionalized carbon dots and graphene. By observation, the dispersion and interface compatibility of graphene were greatly enhanced by CDs. The change rules of electrochemistry results implied that the addition of 0.5 wt.% CDs-G in EP coating (CDs-G0.5 %/EP) demonstrated a superior protective property on steel, which was attributed to the physical barrier of highly dispersed graphene and the self-healing ability of CDs. After 50 days immersion, the oxygen permeability coefficient and water absorption of CDs-G0.5 %/EP coating were only 4.27 × 10−13 cm3 cm cm−2 s−1 Pa−1 and 4.4 %, respectively.

This article investigates whether supervisors can significantly enhance their subordinates' performance using a five‐waves panel dataset from a medium‐sized Japanese firm comprising around 400 employees. The dataset includes all regular non‐managerial employees working in one manufacturing company. About 40 supervisors were matched to their subordinates, and the evaluation outcomes were used to evaluate the worker performance. The results showed that supervisor effects were heterogeneous, displayed a one‐year lag, and lasted for two years. We proved the existence of the supervisor effect on current performance, by using current supervisor dummies or past supervisor dummies. Irrespective of the supervisor being switched, the effect of the past supervisor on workers’ current performance continues to exist. It was also found that these effects remained significant, even when workers were assigned new/different supervisors.

To evaluate the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection and risk factors and to serotype the strains in Wuwei, located in north-western China, which has a high incidence of gastric cancer.Helicobacter pylori infection was analysed in 21 291 adults byThe infection rate of H. pylori was 53.0%, and 90.1% of strains were type I strains. The H. pylori infection rate was higher among farmers (OR = 1.34, 95% CI: 1.19-1.50) and individuals who had a junior high school or higher education level (OR = 1.10, 95% CI: 1.06-1.15), and was lower in older individuals (OR = 0.86, 95% CI: 0.83-0.90), individuals with high income (OR = 0.93, 95% CI: 0.90-0.95), individuals with a habit of eating quickly (OR = 0.93, 95% CI: 0.87-0.99) and individuals who consumed more fruit and vegetables (OR = 0.90, 95% CI: 0.85-0.95). Individuals with history of cholecystitis/cholecystolithiasis, hypertension and asthma were negatively correlated with H. pylori infection (P 0.05).The prevalence of H. pylori infection is high in Wuwei. The major prevalent strain is type I strain. Age, education, occupation, household income, consumption of fruit and vegetables, and habit of eating quickly are independent risk factors for H. pylori infection, which is also associated with individuals with a history of extragastric diseases.Evaluer la prévalence de l'infection à Helicobacter pylori et les facteurs de risque et déterminer le sérotype des souches à Wuwei, situé dans le nord-ouest de la Chine, où l'incidence du cancer gastrique est élevée. As customized accelerator design has become increasingly popular to keep up with the demand for high performance computing, it poses challenges for modern simulator design to adapt to such a large variety of accelerators. Existing simulators tend to two extremes: low-level and general approaches, such as RTL simulation, that can model any hardware but require substantial effort and long execution times; and higher-level application-specific models that can be much faster and easier to use but require one-off engineering effort. This work proposes a compiler-driven simulation workflow that can model configurable hardware accelerator. The key idea is to separate structure representation from simulation by developing an intermediate language that can flexibly represent a wide variety of hardware constructs. We design the Event Queue (EQueue) dialect of MLIR, a dialect that can model arbitrary hardware accelerators with explicit data movement and distributed event-based control; we also implement a generic simulation engine to model EQueue programs with hybrid MLIR dialects representing different abstraction levels. We demonstrate two case studies of EQueue-implemented accelerators: the systolic array of convolution and SIMD processors in a modern FPGA. In the former we show EQueue simulation is as accurate as a state-of-the-art simulator, while offering higher extensibility and lower iteration cost via compiler passes. In the latter we demonstrate our simulation flow can guide designer efficiently improve their design using visualizable simulation outputs.

WC-6Co cemented carbide with super mechanical properties and excellent corrosion resistance was successfully prepared by optimizing Mo2C content. The structure, mechanical and anti-corrosion behaviors of cemented carbide were evaluated via a series of professional tests and measurements. The results revealed that the alloy phase of cemented carbide with various Mo2C contents was identical. Nevertheless, the content of Mo element in Co binder phase was higher than that in WC phase owing to the Mo2C dissolution in Co binder phase. The average grain size of WC displayed a downtrend after adding Mo2C additive. Differently, the Vickers hardness was increased after adding Mo2C additive and reached the maximum when the Mo2C content was 1.0%. In addition, the corrosion resistance of cemented carbide in 0.1 M HCl and NaOH solutions was improved by adding proper Mo2C additive. This was due to the synergistic effect of the optimized relative density, the modification of Co binder phase and the formation of passive film.

Developing low-cost electrode materials with high performance for supercapacitor still faces great challenges. In this work, CoTe2 nanoflowers (NFs) were successfully developed by employing a facile solvothermal route. The transmission electron microscopy image reveals that the thickness of the CoTe2 is approximately 20 nm, which will improve the contact area with electrolyte as well as boost the ions/chargers transport rate. Results from the electrochemical measurement disclose that the CoTe2 NFs electrode has an outstanding electrochemical capacitance of 460 F g−1 under 1.5 A g−1. Specifically, the 91% of electrochemical capacitance is retained after 5000 cycles, demonstrating its good cycle durability. Our results reveal that the CoTe2 NFs is kind of promising electrode material for use in the advanced energy storage system.

Through multi-arc ion plating technology, the VCN coatings were successfully prepared under various bias voltages. The microstructure, mechanical property, anti-corrosion capability and tribological performance of these VCN coatings were comparatively studied. With the bias voltage increased from −25 to −100 V, the adhesion force and hardness of VCN coatings increased by 73.33% (22.5 to 39 N) and 14.83% (31.7 to 36.4 GPa). Besides, the toughness, corrosion resistance and anti-wear ability of VCN coatings were enhanced to varying degrees by changing the bias voltage. By contrast, the VCN coating at −100 V presented the smallest friction coefficient (COF) of 0.113 and wear rate of 5.25 × 10−7 mm3/Nm, implying an attractive protective effect for key friction parts in marine environment.

An eco-friendly and effective corrosion inhibitor (N-CDs) was acquired by hydrothermal method in methacrylic acid and ethyl(methyl)amine precursors. Afterwards, the weight loss and electrochemistry measurement were chosen to appraise the corrosion inhibition behavior of as-prepared N-CDs for Q235 steel in Cl− contained solutions. The change rules of EIS and Tafel data displayed that the as-prepared N-CDs revealed a high-efficiency protection for steel in all test environments. Meanwhile, the inhibition efficiency of steel reached up to 93.93 % (1 M HCl) and 88.96 % (3.5 wt% NaCl) at 200 mg/L of N-CDs. Furthermore, the N-CDs could form the adsorption film on steel surface to avoid the strong attack of Cl−. By analysis, the adsorption mechanism of as-prepared N-CDs on steel surface was physicochemical interaction, which strictly complied with the Langmuir adsorption model in both solutions.

The V–C–N coatings with various carbon contents were prepared by multi-arc ion plating method on 304 stainless steel and Si (100) substrates. The effects of carbon content on microstructure, mechanical behavior, tribological behavior and corrosion behavior of V–C–N coating were systematically evaluated. Results showed that the VC phase and amorphous phase were formed after the addition of carbon into VN coating. In the meantime, the critical load and hardness of V–C–N coating increased to 40 N and 36.5 GPa when the carbon content increased to 14.73 at%, respectively. Moreover, the incorporation of carbon could enhance the toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of VN coating. By comparison, the V–C–N coating with 14.73 at.% C showed the lowest friction coefficient (COF = 0.12) and wear rate (7.2 × 10−7 mm3/Nm), implying a great potential for the protection of mechanical component in marine environment.

Four sets of WC-10Co cemented carbides with different carbon content were prepared by adding the ultrafine WC powders as seeds during the in-situ sintering reaction among W, Co and C. The effect of carbon content on microstructure and mechanical properties were studied. The results show that the microstructure, phase composition and mechanical properties of WC-10Co cemented carbides with plate-like WC grains were seriously affected by the carbon content. The fast growth of WC grains with high carbon content could proceed the prismatic plane preferentially along the 1 ( − ) 0> directions, resulting in the high content of plate-like WC grains. The density increased with the increment of the carbon content and reached the maximum value, then, followed by a decline. The hardness and the transverse rupture strength of the alloy in the two-phase zone with carbon content of 5.91 wt% reached the maximum value. The existence of plate-like WC grains could impede the propagation of the cracks due to the decrease of the weakest carbide regions and the increase of the basal facets of broken WC crystals. In this case, more fracture energy was required to crack propagation and further improved the transverse rupture strength. Additionally, the plate-like WC was benefit to reduce the wear volume and bring about a better wear resistance. Thus, the alloy with the appropriate proportion of carbon content can obtain higher mechanical properties and wear resistance.

The WC/C nanocomposite films were deposited by unbalanced magnetron sputtering on the surface of 316 stainless steel, 2A14, H62 and Ti–6Al–4V substrates. The load-bearing capacity of WC/C film was characterized by indentation, scratch and friction tests. The failure mechanism of WC/C film was analyzed through the expansion of interface crack in different failure modes. Result showed that the stress relaxation at the interface was caused by crack, warp and deformation. Meanwhile, the substrate might fail earlier than the WC/C film under the effect of multi-strain. When the film and the substrate were in elastic deformation state, the load-bearing capacity of WC/C film was proportional to the mismatch strain energy of interface during sliding. In addition, the magnitude of mismatch strain energy under ideal condition could be quantified by the mismatch value. By comparison, the WC/C film deposited on 316 stainless steel displayed the highest load-bearing capacity during all specimens.

A simple and low-cost bottom-up method for the preparation of water-soluble Carbon dots (CDs) by tuning the carbonization degree of ammonium citrate. The structure and morphology of CDs were characterized by Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). And the investigation on the lubricating property and inhibition effect of CDs as nanoadditives of water-based lubricants is discussed in this work. The results show that the CDs as eco-friendly nanoadditives exhibit low friction coefficient, outstanding wear-resistance and excellent inhibition effect.

The monolayer TiSiN and multilayer TiSiN/Ni coatings were deposited on the surface of Ti6Al4V alloy and Si wafer through cathodic arc method. By analysis, the TiSiN layer presented an amorphous/nanocrystalline structure. The adhesion force and toughness of multilayer TiSiN/Ni coatings could be significantly improved by the insertion of Ni layer. Meanwhile, the modulation ratio of Ni and TiSiN layers greatly affected the tribology behavior of multilayer TiSiN/Ni coatings in seawater. With the increase of modulation ratio, the anti-wear ability of multilayer TiSiN/Ni coating increased firstly and then decreased. When the modulation ratio was 1:5, the multilayer TiSiN/Ni coatings displayed the lowest friction coefficient (COF) of 0.14 and wear rate of 1.06 × 10−6 mm3/Nm in seawater, which was about 53.33% and 62.81% lower than that of monolayer TiSiN coating, respectively. This was mainly due to the complexity of penetration path caused by the multilayer structure and the inhibition of crack extension caused by the improvement of toughness.

5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) is a chemotherapeutic drug with a good anti-cancer effect on various types of cancers, such as colorectal cancer and breast cancer. However, previous studies have found that 5-FU could induce cognitive deficit in clinics. As ganoderic acid, isolated from Ganoderma lucidum, has a protective effect on neurons, this study investigated the effects of ganoderic acid (GA) against 5-FU-induced cognitive dysfunction with a series of behavioral tests and related indicators. Experimental results showed that GA significantly prevented the reduction of spatial and non-spatial memory in 5-FU-treated mice. In addition, GA not only ameliorated the damage to hippocampal neurons and mitochondrial structure, but also significantly improved abnormal protein expression of mitochondrial biogenesis related marker PGC-1α, and mitochondrial dynamics related markers MFN2, DRP1 and FIS1 in the hippocampi of 5-FU-treated mice. Moreover, GA could up-regulate the expression of neuronal survival and growth-related proteins, such as BDNF, p-ERK, p-CREB, p-Akt, p-GSK3β, Nrf2, p-mTOR, and p-S6, in the hippocampi of 5-FU-treated mice. These results suggest that GA could prevent cognitive dysfunction in mice treated with 5-FU via preventing mitochondrial impairment and enhancing neuronal survival and growth, which provide evidence for GA as a promising adjunctive therapy for chemotherapy related cognitive impairment in clinics.

Background: The lack of effective biomarkers for screening gastric cancer (GC) and premalignant lesions (PMLs) is a significant roadblock in the prevention and early intervention of GC. We aimed to identify noninvasive biomarkers to improve the screening of high-risk populations. Methods: We evaluated 25,000 adults residing in Wuwei. We collected baseline characteristics, GC risk indicators, including trefoil factors (TFF1–3), endoscopy diagnosis, and pathological information. We analyzed the data to determine the association of risk biomarkers with the progression of GC and the prediction capacities of these biomarkers using odds ratio (OR)-adjusted models and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses. Results: TFF1 and TFF2 serum levels showed incremental changes from the PMLs to the GC group, with the highest serum TFF3 levels reported in the intestinal metaplasia group. TFF1 and TFF2 had significant predictive values in the PMLs and GC in the three OR-adjusted models but not in the non-atrophic gastritis group. Similar results were obtained after adjusting for all biomarkers and risk factors wherein the ORs (95 % confidence intervals) of TFF1 and TFF2 in the GC group were 2.71 (1.57–4.67) and 2.87 (1.75–4.71), respectively (P

In order to address the environment pollution problem in the cleaning process of metal, a green corrosion inhibitor with the size of 3–5.5 nm was synthesized from imidazole ionic liquids and citric acid-based carbon dots. The inhibition behaviors of this inhibitor for Q235 steel in 1 M HCl and 3.5 wt% NaCl solutions were studied by electrochemical measurement, surface analysis and weight loss. The dependence of corrosion current density and impedance modulus of Q235 steel on the different concentrations of corrosion inhibitor solutions showed that the as-prepared inhibitor presented a valid protective effect on steel in both corrosive solutions. In the meantime, the inhibition efficiency of steel in 1 M HCl solution was higher than that in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. The mechanism of corrosion inhibitor was discussed with isothermal adsorption model. The result revealed that the Langmuir adsorption was followed and the mechanism was physicochemical adsorption in these two solutions.

In this study, a self-healing epoxy coating containing tetraaniline modified α-Fe2O3 (TAFe) was prepared for corrosion protection of Q235 steel. The TAFe particles were synthesized using bio-inspired catechol chemistry and the evaluation of the corrosion resistant benefits of TAFe as additive in the epoxy coating were conducted. The time-dependent corrosion protective ability of the epoxy composite coating containing TAFe applied on Q235 carbon steel were characterized by electrochemical techniques such as EIS and LEIM. Characterization of corrosion layer was done by SEM and XRD after removing coatings after 70 days of immersion in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. Findings of corrosion measurements confirmed the existence of a small amount TAFe (0.7 wt%) resulted in improvement of corrosion protective properties of steel during corrosion process compared with neat epoxy coating and the coating with 0.7 wt% non-modified Fe2O3. Moreover, surface techniques showed compact passivated iron oxide layer beneath the coatings and presence of different metallic oxide phases for coatings. The corrosion protective enhancement of composite coating could be ascribed to electroactive function of tetraaniline layer on α-Fe2O3.

This work discusses the addition of tetraaniline based conducting nanofiber (TANF) on the anticorrosive properties of waterborne epoxy coatings on Q235 mild steel. TANF was synthesized by self-assembly of tetraaniline in 1 M HCl solution. The structure of TANF was characterized by the Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR), Raman, X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, UV–vis spectra and photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and the morphology of TANF was used to investigate by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and scanning probe microscope (SPM). The self-assembled TANF possesses excellent solubility, tiny nanofibrous structure and reversible redox behavior, making it appropriate as a novel anticorrosive pigment for the waterborne coatings. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopic (EIS), polarizing curves and scanning vibrating electrode technique (SVET) were used to investigated the effect of TANF on the anticorrosion performance of epoxy coating. The results revealed that the waterborne epoxy coating containing 0.5 wt% TANF exhibited improved corrosion resistance properties compared to pure waterborne epoxy coating. The addition of electroactive TANI could facilitate to form a passive metal oxide layer beneath the coating as proved by characterization of rust layers by X-ray diffraction (XRD).

VN and VCN coatings were prepared using multi-arc ion plating technique on 316L stainless steel and single silicon substrates. Microstructures, mechanical performances, corrosion behaviors and tribology properties of VN and VCN coatings in the atmosphere, distilled water and seawater were contrastively tested. It was confirmed that the VCN coating had a typical nanocystallite/amorphous structure. Moreover, the hardness increased from 30.5 to 36.5 GPa and the corrosion current density decreased from 2.16 × 10−6 to 0.82 × 10−6 A cm−2 after carbon was doped into the VN coating. Compared with the VN coating, the VCN coating had the lowest friction coefficient of 0.26 and wear rate of 0.68 × 10−6 mm3 Nm−1 in seawater, which could be ascribed to the lubrication of graphitization transfer film and improvement of the comprehensive performance.

CrSiN coatings with various Si contents were prepared on 304L substrate through medium frequency magnetron sputtering. Toughness, corrosion resistance and tribology property of as-prepared coatings in 0.1 M HCl solution were studied. The result showed that the toughness of CrN coating was effectively enhanced by the incorporation of proper silicon. Compared with other coatings, the CrSiN coating with high silicon proportion presented lower icorr and higher |Z|0.01 Hz. When the silicon proportion exceeded 16.0 at.%, the inhibition efficiency was up to 99.10%. During tribology test, the COF and wear rate descended at the early stage and then ascended as the silicon proportion increased as a whole, which was ascribed to the combined action between toughness, anti-corrosion and lubrication behaviors.

Super-hydrophobic polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane functionalized graphene oxide (GP) was synthesized by one-step condensation reaction. Addition of 0.5 wt% GP into epoxy matrix (0.5 wt% GP/EP) could enhance the impedance by 2 orders of magnitude after 150 days immersion compared with pure epoxy (EP) coating. Moreover, the 0.5 wt% GP/EP specimen displayed better lubrication properties than EP, 0.5 wt% GO/EP, and 1 wt% GP/EP composites. Such outstanding anti-corrosion and wear-resistant abilities were ascribed to the comprehensive action of repellent GP with excellent shielding effect, the self-lubrication of GP with well dispersibility and the great improvement of mechanical property.

In this study, novel aniline trimer (AT) functionalized graphene sheets (SAT-G) was prepared by intercalation and silanization of trianiline precursor. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman and UV-vis spectra indicated that the π-π interaction was formed between the silanized aniline trimer (SAT) and graphene (G). Meanwhile, scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and scanning probe microscope (SPM) confirmed the successful decoration of graphene surface by AT. As a result, the silanized aniline trimer could effectively increase the dispersion of graphene in epoxy matrix. The long-term anti-corrosion ability of epoxy matrix was greatly enhanced via adding proper SAT-G (0.5 wt%). Local electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (LEIS) studies manifested that the local impedance of artificial defect was greatly improved. The excellent anti-corrosion performance was attributed to two parts: (1) the well-dispersion graphene could fully exhibit its barrier property; (2) the silanized aniline trimer with intact electroactivity could induce the formation of passive film, which was composed by Fe3O4 and Fe2O3. The combine action between the barrier property of graphene and the self-healing capacity of silanized aniline trimer contributed to the superior corrosion resistance of SAT-G based epoxy coating.

Novel super-hydrophobic aniline trimer-containing siliceous coatings were carefully acquired through electrodeposition in a mixed solution of tetraethoxysilane and triethoxysilylpropyl isocyanate modified aniline trimer (M-AT). Chemical constitution, morphology, hydrophobicity and anticorrosion ability of as-prepared hybrid coatings were investigated by corresponding equipment. Compared to pure silica coating, the AT-containing silica coatings presented excellent super-hydrophobicity and enhanced anticorrosion performance. The impedance was the highest and the corrosion current density was the lowest for modified silica coating with proper M-AT (5 wt%). The super-hydrophobic of AT-containing silica coating was conductive to avoid the direct contact between corrosion medium and metal substrate. The peculiar oxidation-reduction feature of AT was help to promote the generation of passivation films (ferric oxide and ferroferric oxide). The combined action of above-mentioned two functions facilitated the perfection of corrosion performance for AT-containing silica coating.

Objective This study aimed to determine the prevalence and risk factors of Helicobacter pylori infection across all age groups in Wuwei City, a high-risk area for gastric cancer in Northwest China. Methods We conducted this study from 2016 to 2017 in an urban and a rural community in Wuwei City. Stool antigen tests targeted individuals aged 0 to 3 years old, and 13 C-urea breath tests targeted individuals aged above 3 years. We selected participants based on hierarchical cluster sampling. We assessed the association between variables and H. pylori infection based on logistic regression models. Results Ultimately, the results of 2,163 participants (age: 0 to 77 years old) were included (1,238 minors and 925 adults) in the analysis. The overall prevalence of H. pylori infection was 35.6%. It increased with age, reaching the peak in the 30 to 39 age group, and then began to decline. In multivariate analysis, age was positively associated with prevalence of H. pylori infection, and factors negatively associated with the prevalence were drinking running water, the frequency of yoghurt consumption, and an annual household income of Renminbi (¥) 30,000-100,000 or 100,000 above. In the subgroup analyses, however, the same variables associated differently in different age groups. Additionally, we interestingly noticed that boarding, eating at school cafeterias over six times per week, and frequently drinking untreated water were independent predictors of H. pylori infection in junior and senior high school students. Conclusion The prevalence of H. pylori infection is moderate and closely associated with the socioeconomic conditions of Wuwei City, as well as the sanitary situations and dietary habits of the participants in the city. Boarding, eating at school, and drinking untreated water are the main factors explaining the rising infection rate in junior-senior high school students.

Field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) provide an opportunity to co-design applications with hardware accelerators, yet they remain difficult to program. High-level synthesis (HLS) tools promise to raise the level of abstraction by compiling C or C++ to accelerator designs. Repurposing legacy software languages, however, requires complex heuristics to map imperative code onto hardware structures. We find that the black-box heuristics in HLS can be unpredictable: changing parameters in the program that should improve performance can counterintuitively yield slower and larger designs. This paper proposes a type system that restricts HLS to programs that can predictably compile to hardware accelerators. The key idea is to model consumable hardware resources with a time-sensitive affine type system that prevents simultaneous uses of the same hardware structure. This paper provided a novel coating system for Q235 steel using electrodeposited oligoaniline modified silica coating (E-M-SiO2) as a pre-process coating, which was prepared by one step coelectrodeposition of a mixture of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) and N,N′-Bis(4′-(3-triethoxysilylpropylureido)-phenyl)-1,4-quinonenediimine (TSUPQD). Microstructure, contact angle, electroactivity and anticorrosion performance were investigated by FTIR, UV–vis, AFM, SEM, OCA20 contact angle analyzer, CV and CHI-660E electrochemical workstation. The CA test indicated, in comparison with pure silica and sol–gel modified silica hybrid coatings, the electrodeposited modified silica coating exhibited a super hydrophobic performance. The CV test illustrated that the special redox property of aniline trimer was maintained in these modified silica hybrid coatings. More importantly, the anticorrosion effectiveness for Q235 steel in 3.5% NaCl solution was improved by the addition of oligoaniline modified silica as the pre-process coating. By comparison, it turned out that the epoxy/E-M-SiO2 coating system presented the lowest icorr value and the highest |Z|0.01Hz value. The corrosion protection mechanism was the synergistic effect of super hydrophobic nature of E-M-SiO2 pre-process coating and special catalytic capability of aniline trimer unit, which effectively restrained the permeation of corrosion medium and induced the formation of passive films consisted of α-Fe2O3 and Fe3O4 on the Q235 surface.

The CrAlSiN films were fabricated by multi-arc ion plating technique under varying deposition bias voltages. The results showed that an amorphous/nanocrystalline structure containing CrN, AlN and Si3N4 phases was observed for CrAlSiN film. The adhesion and toughness of film played the key role in improving the wear situation in seawater, which could effectively inhibit the generation and propagation of crack. Meanwhile, the protection function of film could be improved by proper bias voltage, which could enhance the densification of film and inhibit the permeation of corrosion medium. In addition, the CrAlSiN film under bias voltage of −60 V presented the lowest COF of 0.18 and wear rate of 3.44 × 10−7 mm3/Nm in seawater, indicating the best anti-friction and anti-wear abilities.

Decreased expression of miR-551b-3p has been identified in gastric cancer tissues but its biological role and underlying mechanism in this malignancy is poorly understood. In this study, we show that the expression of miR-551b-3p negatively correlates with the depth of tumour invasion and lymphatic metastasis, but it positively correlates with tumour differentiation and the patient survival. MiR-551b-3p negatively affects the proliferation, mobility and invasiveness of gastric cancer cells. LncRNA SMARCC2 inhibits the expression of miR-551b-3p through binding to its mRNA response elements in gastric cancer cells. Overexpression of LncRNA SMARCC2 enhances the proliferation and migration of gastric cancer cells, while inhibition of LncRNA SMARCC2 does the opposite. TMPRSS4 is a direct target gene of miR-551b-3p. We conclude that miR-551b-3p functions as a tumour suppressor gene in gastric cancer, and its function is regulated by LncRNA SMARCC2/miR-551b-3p/TMPRSS4 axis.

Novel electroactive silica-based hybrid coatings were synthesized on the surface of Q235 low carbon steel via one-step electrodeposition and were analyzed by FTIR, UV-vis, SEM, OCA20 contact angle (CA) analyzer and CHI-660E electrochemical workstation, respectively. The CA test indicated, in comparison with bare Q235 substrate, the silica hybrid material modified by N, N'-Bis(4′-(3-triethoxysilylpropylureido)-phenyl)-1,4- quinonenediimine (TSUPQD) exhibited an excellent hydrophobic properties. More importantly, the deposition potential significantly affected the corrosion resistance of TSUPQD modified silica hybrid material. By comparing with various deposition potentials (−1.1, −1.3, −1.5, −1.7 V) under the deposition time of 500 s, the coating prepared under the potential of −1.5 V presented the best anti-corrosion performance for Q235 steel in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution. The XRD and SEM analysis of corrosion product beneath the hybrid coatings showed that the redox catalytic capability of aniline trimer unit induced the Q235 substrate to form the passive films which mainly consisted of α-Fe2O3 and Fe3O4.

In this paper, CrAlSiN coatings with different interlayer designs (without interlayer, Cr interlayer, CrN interlayer and Cr/CrN interlayer) were successfully obtained on 316L stainless steel and single crystal silicon by multi-arc ion plating technique. Coating microstructure, mechanical, anticorrosion and tribological behaviors in artificial seawater were systematically investigated by XRD, SEM, XPS, TEM, nanoindentation, electrochemical workstation and frictional tester system. Results showed that the CrAlSiN layer presented a typical nanocrystalline/amorphous structure, which consisted of CrN, AlN and Si3N4 phases. The Cr/CrN interlayer could obviously improve the adhesion, hardness and toughness of CrAlSiN coating. Compared with single CrAlSiN coating, the corrosion current density of Cr/CrN/CrAlSiN coating system was improved by 2 orders of magnitude and its inhibition efficiency was up to 98.82%. Under high applied load (15 N) condition, the CrAlSiN coating with Cr/CrN interlayer revealed the lowest COF (0.107 ± 0.009) and wear rate (7.3 × 10−8 ± 8.4 × 10−9 mm3 N−1 m−1) in seawater, which primarily attributed to the synergistic effect of ideal adhesion force, outstanding toughness and effectively barrier ability.
