A research study was conducted during March–April, 2023 at Imphal East, Manipur, India to gain insights into the preferences and constraints of farmers concerning their utilization of mass media. Two blocks were select randomly and from each block two villages were selected randomly; a total 120 respondents were interviewed through structured scheduled. Mean, frequency, percentage and garret ranking method were used to analysis the data and to find out the appropriate result. The outcomes illuminated that, among the farmers, mobile phones emerged as the most favored mass media, trailed by television, radio, newspapers, and agricultural magazines. The major constraints faced by farmers in the case of television were a lack of market availability of suggested inputs (59.16%), a lack of use of a complex technical word (44.16%) in radio, a lack of use of a complex technical word (46.66%) in newspapers, no one subscribe to any farm magazine (94.16%) in farm magazines, and a lack of awareness of mobile applications related to agriculture (56.66%) on mobile phones. This study underscores the pivotal role of mass media in rural areas and highlights the challenges tied to specific mass media.

Multilevel inverters have gained significant attention in renewable energy systems due to their ability to generate high-quality output voltages with reduced harmonic distortion and lower switching losses. These inverters are widely used in photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy applications to interface renewable energy sources with the grid or load. This paper explores the design and optimization of multilevel inverters to enhance power quality and overall efficiency in renewable energy systems. By employing advanced control techniques and optimal switching strategies, the proposed inverter design minimizes harmonic content and improves energy conversion efficiency. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the multilevel inverter in renewable energy applications, contributing to more stable and reliable power delivery.

The global energy landscape is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by the dual imperatives of innovation and regulation. This paper reviews the work in the areas of sustainable energy transitions, focusing on the intricate balance between demand-side innovations and governance, as seen in Germany’s energy transition journey. The study further delves into the European context, highlighting the emergence of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) and the challenges and opportunities they present in achieving a just and democratic energy transition. The paper also introduces the World Economic Forum’s Energy Transitions Index (ETI), a comprehensive tool that tracks the performance of energy systems at the country level, offering insights into the macroeconomic, institutional, social, and geopolitical considerations that shape energy transitions globally. Collectively, these areas of study underscore the importance of a holistic approach to energy transition, one that harmonizes technological advancements with policy frameworks and societal needs.

Advances in renewable energy technologies are pivotal in addressing the challenges posed by the depletion of traditional energy sources and their associated environmental impacts. Among these, wind energy stands out as a promising avenue, with wind turbine farms proliferating globally. However, the unpredictable nature of wind and intricate interplay between turbines necessitate innovative solutions for efficient operation and maintenance. This paper reviews advancements in intelligent control systems, notably those proposed by Smart Wind technologies. These systems leverage a network of sensors and IoT devices to gather real-time data, such as wind speed, temperature, and humidity, to optimize turbine performance. A significant focus is on turbines employing doubly-fed induction generators, which offer benefits like adjustable speed and consistent frequency operation. Their integration into smart grids introduces challenges concerning power system dynamics’ security and reliability. This review delves into the dynamics, characteristics, and potential instabilities of such integrations, emphasizing the uncertainties in wind and nonlinear load predictions. A noteworthy finding is the rising prominence of artificial intelligence, particularly machine and deep learning, in predictive diagnostics. These methodologies offer costeffective, accurate, and efficient solutions, holding potential for enhancing power system stability and accuracy in the smart grid context.

Abstract Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Systems play a vital role in energizing microelectronic devices with the low‐frequency operation. Here, a novel piezoelectric energy harvesting device has been developed for low power electronic devices. The developed Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Systems consists of a cantilever with poles projecting outwards and the cantilevers one end is connected to the wind‐catcher, and another end is connected to the torsional spring. The developed Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Systems signifies its application in energizing microelectronic devices. The cantilever is placed inwards to the piezoelectric crystal stack. When the wind strikes, a vortex is created in the windcatcher, which oscillates the cantilever and generates stress in the piezoelectric crystal stack to develop electric energy. The output voltage obtained from the Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Systems does not affect any input frequency of the piezoelectric crystal. The result obtained shows that the developed Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Systems generates 120–200 eV with 2.9 × 1016–4.84 × 1016 Hz frequency considering an elementary charge unit as 40 for a variable wind flow of 4–9 m/s. This research aims to develop an efficient wind‐based Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Systems for low powered microelectronic devices.

All electronic systems must function quickly in the current environment, and 80 percent of electronic chips have memory components. SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) has thus become a major key component in many VLSI Chips in order to reduce the size of the memory chips, to increase the speed, to reduce leakage current, and to increase the power efficiency. Due to its high storage density and quick access time, it has also become a popular data storage device. SRAM has been given priority in the research community due to the recent sharp development in low power and low voltage memory devices. In this study, the design and performance of SRAM and DRAM cells were analyzed. This paper outlines the development and application of modified 6T SRAM cell with increased power efficiency.

In recent decades, modeling of soft fingertips has fascinated a superior momentum in research initiatives concerned with development of an anthropomorphic soft finger tip. In design and development of soft fingertips, analysis of contact a characteristic plays a vital role on dexterous manipulation. This research work presents the results of the experimental investigation in relation to the formulations of contact area for soft fingertips pressed against assorted target profiles. A dimensionless parameter, curve factor Y (r/R) is introduced to derive a parametric relationship among the key parameters. It also addresses the growth of contact area of fingertips for five different combinations. From experimental observations, a modified power law equation with conversion factor (X) is proposed to interpolate the magnitude of contact area for different profiles.
