Objectives: Schizophrenia is an organic disease and a severe mental disorder with a relatively high risk of relapse. The rising rate of schizophrenia relapse has motivated researchers and academics to innovate and develop interventions aimed at relapse prevention. This bibliometric study sought to examine the publication trends in schizophrenia relapse prevention from 1973 to 2023, assess the contribution of international collaborations across various journals, identify the most influential authors and articles, and forecast future developments in this field. Methods: The study included 683 articles obtained from the Scopus database, analyzed using VOSviewer software, and visualized with Tableau. Results: Reports of schizophrenia relapse prevention strategies have increased significantly over the last 3 decades. However, fluctuations persist, as evidenced by the annual number of publications ranging from 25 to 40 within the past 5 years. Nevertheless, this increasing trend underscores the sustained interest in this area of research. Regarding contribution size, the United States produced the largest volume of publications on this subject. John M. Kane authored the most articles, while Stefan Leucht exhibited the highest h-index. Frequently used keywords in this field include “relapse AND schizophrenia” AND “prevention.” Conclusions: These results represent an important reference for determining the current state of research on schizophrenia relapse prevention and future research directions.

This research aims to determine the growth of turi plants on former gold mining land, by applying cow manure. This research was carried out at the BPDAS Palu Poso Permanent Nursery in the Tadulako University area. This research was carried out from April to November 2023. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments including P0= No Treatment, P1= 150 gr Manure P2= 200 gr Cow Manure P3= 250 gr Cow Manure. Each treatment was repeated 10 times so that there were 40 experimental units. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the growth of turi seedlings in ex-gold mining soil with the application of cow manure had a significant effect on the increase in height, diameter and number of leaves. The treatment that gave the best response was treatment P3= (250 gr of cow manure) with an average increase in height of 19.53 cm, an average increase in diameter of 0.72 mm, and an average increase in the number of leaves of 7.4 pieces.

In 2021, an unusual activities of earthquake swarm occurred for the first time in Lake Toba (Indonesia), one of the world's largest calderas. Despite the fact that the earthquakes occurred in a volcanic setting, the swarm activity could be connected to the tectonic activities from the Sumatra fault system. The swarm activity occurred at a very shallow depth and were felt by local peoples with the intensity of II-IV MMI. The aim of this study was to look into the characteristics of the earthquake swarm in the Toba Caldera using waveforms recorded by temporary stations between March and June 2021. In May and June 2021, a total of 26 seismic stations were deployed for two months. Automatic seismic wave detection is essential because it may be utilized in earthquake early warning systems and speeds up analysis of origin time, P-, and S arrival timings, and earthquake sites. We discovered characteristics of a non-swarm earthquake's spectrum waveform from low to high frequency, whereas the swarm earthquake generated high frequency seismograms. Furthermore, we successfully captured the hypocentre, which was spread in the SW - NE direction, and we may be able to identify the unknown geological system responsible for the swarm's activity.

Objective: To determine the prevelance and factors associated with diabetic foot ulcer risk (DFU) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. Methods: This cross-sectionale study was conducted in the rural and urban areas in the South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, from April to December 2022. The study included people diagnosed with T2DM for atleast one year, aged 18-60 years. The outcome of the study was DFU risk among people diagnosed with T2DM, which was measured using the screening for the High-Risk Diabetic Foot 60-Second Tool and Ipswich Touch Test (IpTT). Results: Of total 361 T2DM patients, the mean age was 53.8 ± 5.8 years. There were 118 (32.7%) males and 243 (67.3%) females. Overall risk of DFU was observed in 110 (30.5%) patients. On October 1, 2022, an earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 5.8 occurred in the Tarutung region, Indonesia and was associated with an active fault at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake fault with dextral mechanism is suitable with the pattern of active fault movement in Sumatra in the Northeast - Southwest direction. A total of 170 aftershocks occurred within a week span with magnitude variations of 1.7 – 4.0. In addition, the Tarutung earthquake was felt by the local peoples with an intensity of IV - VI MMI and caused 1 fatality, 25 injuries, and around 900 houses were damaged. Therefore, this study studies the characteristics of seismicity and damage caused by finding an appropriate 1-Dimensional seismic velocity model. The obtained 1-Dimensional speed model has varying values at a depth of 10 km with a speed of ~5.5 km/s and 30 km with a speed of ~7 km/s. The 1-D velocity model obtained has a convergent and unique solution with an RMS value < 1.0. Based on ground motion analysis after relocation, it was found that the high PGA and PGV values were in Tarutung. The PGA results reveal a high percentage value of >10% in Tarutung. This is consistent with the damage data and at the same time confirms that Tarutung is in a seismically active area.

On October 1, 2022, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 shook the Tarutung area which was generated by an active fault at a shallow depth of 10 km. In this study, relocating the hypocenter and determining the mechanism of the earthquake was carried out to understand the active tectonic structure. The distribution of hypocenter relocation figures a pull-apart pattern at shallow depths. The earthquake mechanism shows a dextral pattern in the Southwest – Southeast direction with a strike of 138º – 158º. The aftershocks are more dominantly distributed in the pull-apart system in the southeastern part and show the greater part of the transfer of seismic static stress to the southeastern side of the Toru fault. The pull-apart tectonic system scheme in the Tarutung basin with secondary faults as extensional faults is proposed to be a fault source model that forms a negative-flower structure geological pattern. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the Tarutung tectonic system and applied as a mitigation study.

Objective: This study aims to assess the prevalence and emotional symptoms of psychological distress in pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) sufferers. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at six primary health centers in Makassar City, Indonesia from June to November 2022. TB patients were diagnosed using national TB program guidelines. The study included patients 18-60 years old, did not have psychosis or communication difficulties, had no difficulty understanding the questionnaire's contents and were capable to following the study protocols. Self-designed questionnaires were used to obtain data on sociodemographic characteristics and medical conditions. The outcome of the study was psychological distress among individuals with pulmonary TB, which was measured using the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10). Results: Of total 308 TB patients, the mean age was 40.88 ± 16.09 years. Psychological distress was observed in 239 (77.6%) patients. Due to their large surface area and pore volume, three-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (3D COFs) have emerged as competitive porous materials. However, structural dynamic behavior, often observed in imine-linked 3D COFs, could potentially unlock their potential application in gas storage. Herein, we showed how a pre-locked linker strategy introduces breaking dynamic behavior in 3D COFs. A predesigned planar linker-based 3,8-diamino-6-phenylphenanthridine (DPP) was prepared to produce non-dynamic 3D JUC-595, as the benzylideneamine moiety in DPP locked the linker flexibility and restricted the molecular bond rotation of the imine linkages. Upon solvent inclusion and release, the PXRD profile of JUC-595 remained intake, while JUC-594 with a flexible benzidine linker experienced crystal transformation due to framework contraction–expansion. As a result, the activated JUC-595 achieved higher surface areas (754 m2 g−1) than that of JUC-594 (548 m2 g−1). Furthermore, improved CO2 and CH4 storages were also seen in JUC-595 compared with JUC-594. Impressively, JUC-595 recorded a high normalized H2 storage capacity that surpassed other reported high-surface area 3D COFs. This works shows important insights on manipulating the structural properties of 3D COF to tune gas storage performance.

Abstract: The protected forest of Mount Mekongga is the upstream of three major rivers that empties into Kolaka Regency and North Kolaka Regency, which play an important role in the lives of the surrounding community. The conditions that have occurred so far have been threatened in the form of encroachment, illegal logging, and animal hunting. This is a threat that will lead to forest area degradation in the future. The purpose of this study was to identify and assess the potential of tourism resources in the protected forest of Mount Mekongga. Data collection was carried out in March-July 2022, data collection methods tended towards field observations and visual observations, in-depth interviews were conducted with the community and managers, and literature studies. Tourism potential analysis refers to the assessment criteria of Avenzora (2008) which include 7 associative criteria, namely uniqueness, rarity, beauty, seasonality, accessibility, sensitivity, social function. The tourism potential assessed is the potential for natural tourism, consisting of flora, fauna, natural phenomena. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode Analisis Hirarki Proses (AHP) yang diimplementasikan dalam sistem pendukung keputusan untuk penentuan Guru Berpestasi Pada SDN 01 Abai Siat Kabupaten Dharmasraya Provinsi Suamatera Barat. Selama ini proses pengambilan keputusan untuk memutuskan guru berpestasi masih menggunakan cara manual, yaitu dengan cara menerima masukan dari guru PNS dan guru non PNS lainnya, sehingga masih bersifat subjektif. Dengan cara ini juga dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya gratifikasi, kolusi, dan tidak transparan yang berdampak kepada pemilihan guru yang tidak sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi lapangan/wawancara dan studi pustaka yang kemudian dirancang menjadi bentuk kuisioner. Selanjutnya data dianalisis untuk mempelajari pola dari metode AHP. Dengan menggunakan metode AHP, penentuan guru berprestasi pada SDN 01 Abai Siat dalam kasus pemilihan guru berprestasi yang terdiri dari empat kriteria dan tiga alternatif menjadi lebih mudah diselesaikan. Sistem pendukung keputusan dengan megunakan metode ini diharapkan menghasilkan keputusan yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan akuntabilitasnya. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan secara manual didapatkan perangkingan pemilihan guru berprestasi adalah IF (Iing Febira, S.Pd), kedua DI (Derita Indraini, S.Pd) dan ketiga SS (Sri Susanti, S.Pd.I).

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of competence, independence and individual characteristics on audit quality at the Kendari City Inspectorate. This type of research is explanatory research using a questionnaire. The sampling technique in this study used a census technique, namely all government internal supervisors at the Kendari City Inspectorate, namely 49 people. The analytical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) inferential statistical analysis using SmartPLS 3. The results of this study indicate that: 1) competence has a positive and significant effect on audit quality, 2) independence has a positive and significant effect on audit quality, 3) individual characteristics positive effect, but not significant on audit quality. The total determination coefficient shows that the contribution of competence, independence and individual characteristics is only 64.2%, while the remaining 35.8% is obtained from the contribution of other factors.

Tujuan kegiatan ini agar relawan dapat menerapkan aplikasi KREKI tanggap darurat di area pesisir pantai Bengkulu. Metode kegiatan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Peserta dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok. Pemberian materi selain anggota pengabmas juga melibatkan mahasiswa D3 Keperawatan UNIB tingkat 3. Khalayak sasaran adalah relawan tanggap darurat kelompok latun di Bengkulu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bulan Juni, September, November 2022. Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini adalah evaluasi minimal 75% dari 10 orang relawan tanggap darurat di area wisata pesisir pantai Bengkulu dapat mengikuti pelatihan ini, minimal 80% Hasil : kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 27 Juni 2022 di lokasi wisata Jenggalu dan 6 September dan 4 November 2022 (zoom). Peserta sebanyak 10 orang yang merupakan relawan KREKI dari kelompok Latun Bengkulu. Antusias peserta mengenai aplikasi KREKI dan aktif nya bertanya saat simulasi. Perubahan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah sangat signifikan setelah peserta mendengarkan aplikasi KREKI, rata rata mengalami perubahan sebanyak 90% dari nilai 45%. Perlunya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai aplikasi KREKI menjadi solusi bagi mitra.

Earthquake is the vibrations on the earth's surface due to the sudden release of energy from the earthquake center in the earth. The released energy propagates through the ground in the form of vibrations. It is a natural ground movement caused by a variety of phenomena, including tectonic processes, volcanism, and explosions, as well as collapse. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 on the Richter Scale that rocked the Central Sulawesi region caused the tsunami that hit the Talise Beach and the liquefaction in Petobo and Balaroa of Palu City, as well as the liquefaction in Sibalaya of Sigi Regency. After the disaster, the Sigi area, especially Bulubete Village, was the subject of flash floods due to the changes in waterways which should pass into the residential area instead through the river. This study aimed to determine the Development of Beef Cattle Breeding Business at the Public Animal Husbandry School (SPR) in Sigi Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction. This research was conducted from March to May 2022. The location of this research was determined based on purposively. This research was conducted in Bulubete Village of Sigi Regency. Population method was used in determining the number of samples which was also used as the sample of 36 breeders. The result obtained in this study was that natural disasters and the spread of covid-19 greatly affected the development of the cattle business at Anutapura SPR of Bulubete Village of South Dolo District of Sigi Regency. The population and demand at Anutapura SPR experienced a sales trend after the disaster and the covid-19 pandemic. In this case, the cattle population increased before the natural disaster and decreased after the natural disaster coupled with the covid-19 pandemic which affected the demand for beef.

Studies on the use of biomass focus on its effectiveness in producing efficient and clean energy production. Using two treatments, this research tested the joint combustion of coal and biomass in a circulating fluidized type boiler (CFBB). The parameters tested are divided into technical evaluations, namely the performance of the generator and the emissions produced. In contrast, the cost evaluation is an economic study of the co-firing method. The application of co-firing at both plants produces a good efficiency level, as indicated by the generator performance and emissions, as shown by a reduction in SO2 emissions by -33.8% in plant A. The co-firing method in plant A produces a higher heating value. In contrast, plant B produces a higher level of energy consumption. In the environmental aspect, co-firing in the two plants under review produces better emissions using the co-firing method. Plant B’s emission efficiency level is better than that of plant A. With a decrease in CO of 77% in plant A. In terms of economy, adding biomass in the co-firing method shows a reduction in costs in plant A by 0.35% and an increase in the expenses in plant B.

The purpose of this study was to examine the Professional Development of Teachers, Competencies, Educational Facilities and Infrastructure on Teacher Performance and Learning Achievement of High School Students. The population in this study were all teachers from 5 public high schools and 5 private high schools in the education unit of the Makassar City Education and Culture Office, sample of 183 teachers. The analytical model used in this research is descriptive quantitative and Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the AMOS program. The results showed that teacher professional development had a positive and insignificant effect on teacher performance. Competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Educational facilities and infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on performance. Teacher professional development has a positive and insignificant effect on student achievement. Competence has a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance. Educational facilities and infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement. Teacher performance has a positive and significant effect on student achievement. Teacher professional development has a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement through teacher performance. Competence has a positive and significant effect on student achievement through teacher performance. Educational facilities and infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement of high school students in Makassar City through teacher performance.

Background: The complexity of services that nurses must provide nowadays encourages nurses to develop their moral courage. A review of the literature reveals that no studies have been conducted to evaluate the association between clinical nurse tenure and their level of moral courage. Objectives: this study is to assess correlation between the tenure of nurses and the level of moral courage. Methods: analytic survey research at 5 hospitals in Makassar, including private and government hospitals with a total sample of 405 nurses. The sampling technique used multistage random sampling. The variables measured were tenure of nurses and the level of moral courage of nurses. The Professional Moral Courage Questionnaire is used for the variable moral courage (Cronbach 'alpha: 0.756). Data analysis using Mann Whitney test. Results: The majority of nurses with long and new tenure had moderate moral courage (new tenure 79 nurses; length tenure 238 nurses), and there was no significant difference in the moral courage level of nurses with long and new tenure (p=0.294). Conclusion: Considering the findings that nurse tenure has no effect on moral courage, nursing managers can consistently boost nurses' moral courage through external stimuli. A nurse who cannot face various ethical dilemmas in providing daily nursing care can result in moral distress.

Background & Aim: Nurses worldwide face serious challenges to deal with infectious diseases. A transmission prevention model is expected to be a strategy to overcome these challenges. To date, most of the available models are in the form of disease prevention models primarily implemented to detect infections. In contrast, only a few models are implemented to improve disease transmission prevention behavior, especially in nurses. This study aims to find a model of infection transmission prevention adopted from the aids risk reduction model. Methods & Materials: This study was an analytic observational study and employed a cross-sectional approach. This study was conducted in two hospitals in Makassar City and involved 123 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. Results: This study finds that there is a correlation between organizational factors and nurses' commitment (b=.268) (p=.003); there is a correlation between self-justification and nurses’ self-labelling as at-risk individuals of contracting the disease (b=-.180 )(p=.049); there is a correlation between labeling and actions to reduce the risk of disease transmission (Enactment) (b=.255)(p=.001); there is a correlation between nurses' commitment and enactment (b=.651)(p=.001). Conclusion: The risk reduction model could represent the nurses' disease transmission prevention behavior.

The copper-based metal-organic framework (HKUST-1) exhibits interesting properties, such as high porosity and large specific surface area, which are useful as electrode materials for supercapattery. Herein, the HKUST-1 was synthesized through a facile hydrothermal method and exhibited a typical octahedral structure with a specific surface area of 1015.02 m2 g−1, which was calculated using the Barrett–Joyner–Halenda (BJH) method. From the three-electrode analysis, the HKUST-1 demonstrated a specific capacity of 126.2 C g−1 in 1 M LiOH. The structural fingerprint of the HKUST-1 was confirmed with Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy. A supercapattery device, i.e., the HKUST-1//N-doped graphene, revealed a maximum specific power of 300 W kg−1 and a specific energy of 2.61 W h kg−1 at 1 A g−1 with 57% capacitance retention during continuous charging–discharging, even after 10,000 cycles. The HKUST-1 also demonstrated a low charge transfer resistance and a low equivalent series resistance of 7.86 Ω and 0.87 Ω, respectively, verifying its good conductivity. The prominent supercapattery performance of the HKUST-1//N-doped graphene suggested that the HKUST-1 is a promising positive electrode for supercapattery.

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/manganese oxide coated on porous carbon nanofibers (P-CNFs/PEDOT/MnO2) is developed as an advanced anode material via the innovative combination of multiple routes, such as electrospinning, carbonization and electrodeposition. The structural and morphological characterization of the P-CNFs/PEDOT/MnO2 electrode indicates that crosslinked and rough surface provides, as a strategic point, enough active sites for Li+storage. PEDOT nanoparticles and irregular block shape of MnO2 are randomly oriented on the P-CNFs surface, thus allowing a possible electron-conducting pathway, increment in catalytic activity as well as a buffer of the volumetric changes upon cycling. Consequently, the obtained P-CNFs/PEDOT/MnO2 electrode exhibits a truly promising electrochemical performance, which displays discharge capacity of 1477 mAh/g, better than that of P-CNFs/PEDOT (1191 mAh/g), P-CNFs/MnO2 (763 mAh/g) and P-CNFs (433 mAh/g), at a current density of 2 mA/g. In addition, satisfactory electrochemical performances of the as-prepared P-CNFs/PEDOT/MnO2 electrode after 20 cycles of charge/discharge are detected, with a Coulombic efficiency higher than 90% and a charge-transfer resistance being relatively smaller (131.91 Ω) than that of P-CNFs/PEDOT (232.66 Ω) and P-CNFs/MnO2(169.17 Ω) electrodes. Thus, these results indicate that the P-CNFs/PEDOT/MnO2 electrode could offer a great potential to replace commercial graphite for lithium-ion batteries.

Stunting has been a considerable problem that indicates the poor level of public health in Indonesia. There are various efforts made to reduce stunting rates. The North Bengkulu regency has significantly successfully reduced the stunting rate over three years. This study aims to determine the measures to accelerate stunting reduction in the North Bengkulu regency. This is a qualitative descriptive study with data collected through focus group discussions and in-depth interviews. The study was implemented at the North Bengkulu regency in October 2021. There were five participants in the focus group discussion, and two participants were in-depth interviewed. The data were then transcribed verbatim and analyzed using the narrative analysis technique. The result of this study shows that the Head of the North Bengkulu Regency has been an outstanding leader with a strong commitment and vision to prevent stunting. The head of villages in North Bengkulu regency collaborates with public health centers in using village funds and determining the priority scale for stunting prevention. The involvement of cadres to empower the community is essential. The implementation of cross-program cooperation has been implemented. However, the cross-sectoral collaboration was not optimal. There is a difference in determining to stunt between cadres and nutrition workers. The training for stunting cadres and nutrition officers was carried out in stages. The cross-sectoral collaboration needs to increase to improve the program's effectiveness. The cadres and nutritionists need to train to determine stunting rates.

Neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) is a neurodegenerative disorder that is caused by the abnormal expansion of non-coding trinucleotide GGC repeats in NOTCH2NLC. NIID is clinically characterized by a broad spectrum of clinical presentations. To date, the relationship between expanded repeat lengths and clinical phenotype in patients with NIID remains unclear. Thus, we aimed to clarify the genetic and clinical spectrum and their association in patients with NIID. For this purpose, we genetically analyzed Japanese patients with adult-onset NIID with characteristic clinical and neuroimaging findings. Trinucleotide repeat expansions of NOTCH2NLC were examined by repeat-primed and amplicon-length PCR. In addition, long-read sequencing was performed to determine repeat size and sequence. The expanded GGC repeats ranging from 94 to 361 in NOTCH2NLC were found in all 15 patients. Two patients carried biallelic repeat expansions. There were marked heterogenous clinical and imaging features in NIID patients. Patients presenting with cerebellar ataxia or urinary dysfunction had a significantly larger GGC repeat size than those without. This significant association disappeared when these parameters were compared with the total trinucleotide repeat number. ARWMC score was significantly higher in patients who had a non-glycine-type trinucleotide interruption within expanded poly-glycine motifs than in those with a pure poly-glycine expansion. These results suggested that the repeat length and sequence in NOTCH2NLC may partly modify some clinical and imaging features of NIID.

Abstract: The condition of stress and recent seismicity in the seismic-prone area can be statistically analyzed with the Gutenberg-Richter relation (Log N = a-bM). We apply this relation to the hypocenter distribution for the period 1970-2020 with M ≥ 4 and depth ≤ 100 km in the northern part of Sumatra. Spatially, The results obtained a-values and b-values that figure a lateral heterogeneity and stress accumulation at the interface zone in the subduction system and the northern segmentation of the Seulimeum fault. In time, both zones illustrate a slow time-to-failure cycle and the seismic gap with high-stress accumulation in the specific clusters with high parameter values. The results of the spatial-temporal analysis illustrate that a low statistical parameter value usually precedes each major earthquake event. Abstrak: Kondisi stress dan seismisitas terkini di daerah rawan gempa dapat dianalisis secara statistik dengan hubungan Gutenberg-Richter (Log N = a-bM). Kami memakai hubungan ini pada distribusi hiposenter pada periode 1970 - 2020 dengan M ≥ 4 dan kedalaman ≤ 100 km di bagian utara Sumatera. Secara spasial, hasil yang diperoleh yaitu nilai-a dan nilai-b yang menggambarkan heterogenitas lateral dan akumulasi stress pada zona pertemuan di sistem subduksi dan segmentasi utara dari sesar Seulimeum. Secara waktu, kedua wilayah menggambarkan siklus time-to-failure yang lambat dan zona seismic-gap dengan akumulasi stress yang tinggi pada kluster tertentu dengan nilai parameter yang tinggi. Hasil analisis spasial temporal menggambarkan bahwa setiap kejadian gempa besar biasanya didahului dengan nilai parameter statistik yang rendah.

Abstract A novel poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-reduced graphene oxide/copper-based metal–organic framework (PrGO/HKUST-1) has been successfully fabricated by incorporating electrochemically synthesized poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-reduced graphene oxide (PrGO) and hydrothermally synthesized copper-based metal–organic framework (HKUST-1). The field emission scanning microscopy (FESEM) and elemental mapping analysis revealed an even distribution of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and HKUST-1. The crystalline structure and vibration modes of PrGO/HKUST-1 were validated utilizing X-ray diffraction (XRD) as well as Raman spectroscopy, respectively. A remarkable specific capacitance (360.5 F/g) was obtained for PrGO/HKUST-1 compared to HKUST-1 (103.1 F/g), PrGO (98.5 F/g) and PEDOT (50.8 F/g) using KCl/PVA as a gel electrolyte. Moreover, PrGO/HKUST-1 composite with the longest charge/discharge time displayed excellent specific energy (21.0 Wh/kg), specific power (479.7 W/kg) and an outstanding cycle life (95.5%) over 4000 cycles. Thus, the PrGO/HKUST-1 can be recognized as a promising energy storage material.

Mata pelajaran sejarah berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 hanya sedikit yang membahas tentang sejarah lokal di Kalimantan. Sumber belajar sejarah lokal khususnya buku sangat minim, sehingga diperlukan alternatif sumber belajar lainnya seperti alam lingkungan peninggalan sejarah., yaitu situs-situs sejarah lokal di Kalimantan Timur yang dapat dijadikan sumber pendukung pada metode diskusi dan lawatan sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi terkait situs di Samarinda dan Balikpapan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa situs di Samarinda dan Balikpapan dapat dijadikan sumber belajar sejarah dari masa kerajaan Islam sampai perjuangan revolusi fisik yang mencakup materi dari kelas X sampai kelas XII.

Intervensi perilaku sangat penting dilakukan dalam pencegahan HIV sebagai intervensi dalam upaya meningkatkan status kesehatan. Tujuan: Mengetahui bentuk intervensi perilaku untuk mengukur outcome dari pencegahan terjadinya HIV terutama pada kelompok berisiko. Metode: Electronic database dari jurnal yang telah dipublikasikan melalui ProQuest, PubMed., dan ScienceDirect. Hasil: Review dari delapan jurnal yang telah dipilih menyatakan bahwa intervensi perilaku memberi pengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan tentang HIV/AIDS, konseling bagi kelompok dengan rIsiko tinggi seperti pada Lelaki Seks dengan Lelaki (LSL) dan juga pelaksanaan tes HIV atau yang dikenal dengan Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VST). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur behavioral intervention pada penelitian kuantitaif yakni kuesioner, instrumen berbasis komputer dan internet seperti sosial media, sedangkan pada penelitian kualitatif menggali informasi dengann indepth interview dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan intervensi perilaku dalam pencegahan HIV memberi manfaat dalam peningkatan pengetahuan, persepsi dan perilaku pencegahan HIV positif, serta penurunan stigma bagi ODHA. Simpulan: Penguatan intervensi perilaku dapat mencegah terjadinya HIV pada kelompok berisiko sehingga dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan. Kata kunci: intervensi perilaku, pencegahan HIV, LSL

Studies of the commons grew out of responses to Hardin's bleak prediction of “tragedy of the commons,” that without state intervention or privatization, any commons will eventually be destroyed by allegedly self-interested users. As such, the commons studies traditionally tend to demonstrate cases where common pool resources (CPR) can be sustainably managed by groups of people beyond the state and market interventions. This paper shows a case from Sulawesi, Indonesia, where a state social forestry program can create a space for the program beneficiaries to build a commons. Through fieldwork that involves participant observation and in-depth interviews with program extension workers and beneficiaries in two social forestry farmer groups, this study found that the program can stimulate beneficiary groups to build collective action in managing the state forest plots admitted to them and that the two groups are the only successful ones among 14 neighboring groups that are involved in the same program. The study also shows that the management of the state-sponsored commons requires extension workers with deep knowledge about local people and landscape, economic incentives, and the flexibility of the local state agency in bending the rules based on bottom-up demands. Therefore, the case study shows that, on the one hand, the state program can actually stimulate the creation of the commons. On the other hand, commoning seems to be the only way to ensure a successful social forestry program.

Abstract: Banda Aceh can be categorized as an earthquake-prone city because of the existence of two active segments namely Seulimeum and Aceh. Both segments are considered to provide great potential damage in the future. In this article, we conduct a microtremor survey in the Peukan Bada, sub-part of Banda Aceh city, to learn the vulnerability level and support disaster mitigation plan. A total of 20 sites were measured with a seismometer to record the seismic waveform. The waveform was recorded in 45 minutes with a sampling rate of 100 sps and has analyzed using the horizontal-vertical spectrum ratio (HVSR). The results obtained are the dominant parameters, such as the period with a range of 0 – 0.5s, frequency with a range of 0 – 6 Hz, seismicity vulnerability index with a range of 0.1 – 0.5. The result was relevant to the geological conditions of Peukan Bada that dominated by alluvial rocks and mud sediments. The level of vulnerability (Kg > 1.0) obtained is quite high and proportional to the soil type that can amplify the seismic waveform. The results obtained are expected to be a supporting study of disaster mitigation and understand the geological conditions of Banda Aceh in terms of seismic vulnerability. Abstrak: Banda Aceh dapat dikategorikan sebagai kota rawan gempa karena adanya dua segmen aktif yaitu Seulimeum dan Aceh. Kedua segmen tersebut bisa memberikan potensi kerusakan yang besar di masa mendatang. Pada tulisan ini, kami melakukan survei mikrotremor di Kecamatan Peukan Bada, salah satu sub-wilayah kota Banda Aceh, untuk mempelajari tingkat kerentanan dan mendukung rencana mitigasi bencana. Sebanyak 20 lokasi diukur dengan seismometer untuk merekam bentuk gelombang seismik. Gelombang direkam selama 45 menit dengan jumlah sampel 100 sps dan dianalisis menggunakan horizontal-vertical spectrum ratio (HVSR). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah parameter yang dominan yaitu periode dengan rentang 0 – 0,5s, frekuensi dengan range 0 - 6 Hz, indeks kerentanan kegempaan dengan rentang 0,1 – 0,5. Hasil tersebut relevan dengan kondisi geologi Peukan Bada yang didominasi oleh batuan aluvial dan endapan lumpur. Tingkat kerentanan (Kg > 1,0) yang diperoleh cukup tinggi dan sebanding dengan jenis tanah yang dapat memperbesar gelombang seismik. Hasil yang diperoleh diharapkan dapat menjadi pendukung kajian mitigasi bencana dan memahami kondisi geologi Banda Aceh dari segi kerentanan seismik.

This study aims to (1) describe the urgence of developing local wisdom based Chemistry learning and Lombok community tourism in the UNDIKMA Chemistry education study program and (2) describe the learning potential of growing student scientific literacy. This research was conducted in the form of a survey involving 65 students in the UNDIKMA Chemistry education study program. The data were collected using two Likert scale questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the category percentage technique. The results of the study showed that the application of local wisdom based Chemistry learning and tourism in the Lombok community in the UNDIKMA Chemistry education study program still lacked. Student responses to the idea of local wisdom based Chemistry learning and the tourism of the people of Lombok were categorized very well. Students had a high level of confidence that this learning method would increase motivation and attitudes towards learning and provided provisions that were in accordance with the needs of graduates as problem solvers and agents of change in a society that had the uniqueness of local wisdom and tourism potential.

Behavioral intervention sangat penting dilakukan dalam manajemen diri penderita Diabetes Melitus tipe 2 sebagai intervensi dalam upaya meningkatkan status kesehatan. Manajemen diri merupakan hal penting untuk mempertahankan kontrol gula darah sehingga komplikasi pada penderita DM tipe 2 dapat dicegah. Tujuan: Mengetahui bentuk intervensi perilaku untuk mengukur outcome dari manejemen diri penderita DM tipe 2. Metode: Electronic database dari jurnal yang telah dipublikasi melalui Google Schoolar, ProQuest, PubMed., dan ScienceDirect. Hasil review dari 8 jurnal yang telah dipilih menyatakan bahwa behavioral intervention memberi pengaruh terhadap manajemen diri penderita DM tipe 2 dalam kontrol glikemik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur behavioral intervention pada penelitian kuantitaif yakni kuesioner, melakukan observasi perubahan perilaku, sedangkan pada penelitian kualitatif menggali informasi dengan indepth interview. Hasil: Efek behavioral intervention yang meliputi pemberian edukasi dan self efficacy dapat memfasilitasi peningkatan pengetahuan, pencegahan komplikasi dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien DM tipe 2. Simpulan: efek behavioral intervention sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan manajemen diri penderita DM tipe 2, namun pelaksanaan intervensi perlu dimodifikasi agar didapatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal, salah satunya dengan pemanfaatan terknologi berbasis komunitas. This research aimed to investigate the students' understanding level and the occurrence of student's misconceptions about the periodic system of elements subject. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach is a research method used in this study, that is by explaining the data obtained from the result regarding the misconceptions that occur. The technique used in data collection was a test equipped with a choice of the confidence level of answer (TKJ), questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the level of understanding experienced by students was still very low, that is 20.2% of students identified as students who misconception about the subject and 8.5% understood the concept and 71.3% of students who did not understand the concept. The factors that caused the misconceptions were the lack of students' initial concepts and the basic abilities of students.

[Title: Students' Understanding of the Nature of Science in Learning using the Mobile-NOS Learning Model]. This research aimed to evaluate the influence of the Mobile-NOS model of learning application towards Students' Understanding of the Nature of Science. In the form of pre-experimental research, this study has been carried out by pretest-posttest non-control group design. The research subjects consisted of 27 students participating in the Basic Chemistry II course in the chemical education program of IKIP Mataram Academic Year 2018/2019 collected by saturated sampling. The Nature of Science data was obtained using the Understanding of Nature of Science questionnaire that consists of 39 valid items with very high reliability (r = 0.802) proved by test result to 84 subjects. A paired sample t-test used to analyze the data obtained. The results showed significant enhancement on students' understanding of the nature of science after the Mobile-NOS model of the learning implementation. The value of t count (5.353) is higher than the t table (1.706) in the one-way hypothesis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Mobile-NOS learning model influences students' understanding of the nature of science.

Abstract Enrekang District was declared passed the Transmission Assessment Survey (TAS) - 3 in 2016 and received a certificate of free elephant foot area by the Ministry of Health in 2017. The study aims to thoroughly identify various aspects related to the success of Enrekang District in implementing TAS third stage to lead to the elimination of filariasis. Qualitative studies are carried out by conducting in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders in supporting the filariasis elimination program. The research has been carried out in two locations which are sentinel areas namely Potokullin Village, Buntu Batu District, and Parombean Village, Curio District, Enrekang Regency. The results of the study show that there are important concerns from relevant stakeholder both from the health sector and across sectors towards the implementation of filariasis elimination in Enrekang District. Most stakeholders' perceptions already know what filariasis is, what the dangers are and how to prevent them. But it needs more intensive advocacy from health promotion personnel to get support from stakeholder involved in the success of the filariasis elimination program in Enrekang District. Abstrak Kabupaten Enrekang telah dinyatakan lulus Transmission Assesment Survey (TAS)-3 pada tahun 2016, bahkan telah menerima sertifikat daerah bebas kaki gajah oleh Kementerian Kesehatan pada tahun 2017. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara menyeluruh berbagai aspek yang terkait dengan keberhasilan Kabupaten Enrekang dalam melaksanakan TAS tahap ketiga dalam rangka menuju eliminasi filariasis. Studi kualitatif dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) kepada stakeholder yang berkaitan dalam mendukung program eliminasi filariasis. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di dua lokasi yang merupakan daerah sentinel yaitu Desa Potokullin, Kecamatan buntu Batu dan Desa Parombean, Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perhatian penting dari para stakeholder yang berkaitan baik itu dari sektor kesehatan maupun lintas sektor terhadap pelaksanaan eliminasi filariasis di Kabupaten Enrekang. Sebagian besar persepsi stakeholder sudah mengetahui apa itu filariasis, apa bahayanya dan bagaimana cara pencegahannya. Namun perlu advokasi lebih gencar dari tenaga promosi kesehatan agar mendapat dukungan dari para stakeholder yang terlibat dalam menyukseskan program eliminasi filariasis di Kabupaten Enrekang.

Early diagnosis is highly crucial for life-saving and transmission management of tuberculosis (TB). Despite the low sensitivity and time-consuming issues, TB antigen detection still relies on conventional smear microscopy and culture techniques. To address this limitation, we report the development of the first amperometric dual aptasensor for the simultaneous detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis secreted antigens CFP10 and MPT64 for better diagnosis and control of TB. The developed sensor was based on the aptamers–antibodies sandwich assay and detected by chronoamperometry through the electrocatalytic reaction between peroxidase-conjugated antibodies, H2O2, and hydroquinone. The CFP10 and MPT64 aptamers were immobilized via carbodiimide covalent chemistry over the disposable dual screen-printed carbon electrodes modified with a 4-carboxyphenyl diazonium salt. Under optimized conditions, the aptasensor achieved a detection limit of 1.68 ng mL−1 and 1.82 ng mL−1 for CFP10 and MPT64 antigens, respectively. The developed assay requires a small sample amount (5 µL) and can be easily performed within 2.5 h. Finally, the dual aptasensor was successfully applied to clinical sputum samples with the obtained diagnostic sensitivity (n = 24) and specificity (n = 13) of 100%, respectively, suggesting the readiness of the developed assay to be used for TB clinical application.

Pada mata pelajaran Animasi 2D di kelas XI Multimedia SMKN 1 Mesjid Raya masih menggunakan aplikasi Macromedia Flash 8 . Padahal masih banyak aplikasi lainnya. Pada penelitian ini, penulis memperkenalkan aplikasi Scratch pada siswa-siswi dengan tujuan agar peneliti dapat membandingkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Animasi 2D menggunakan aplikasi Scratch dan Macromedia Flash 8. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu menggambarkan dan menginterpretasikan sesuai data yang diperoleh. Sedangkan untuk pengumpulan datanya dengan menyebarkan angket/kuisioner kepada responden. Kemudian dari hasil angket dilakukan pengolah data dengan menggunakanediting, scoring, dan tabulating. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, minat belajar siswa menggunakan aplikasi Scratch lebih meningkat dibandingkan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Macromedia Flash 8. Rata-rata presentase respon siswa terhadap minat belajar pada mata pelajaran Animasi 2D adalah termasuk kriteria sangat tertarik, dengan perolehan rata-rata skor 97,48 dan persentase 81,2%. Sedangkan hasil frekuensi nilai rata-rata minat belajar Animasi 2D adalah siswa mencapai kriteria minat belajar yang tinggi terhadap mata pelajaran Animasi 2D, dengan perolehan skor 81,2.

As the priority forestry development programs in Indonesia in recent years, Social Forestry policies (SF) and Forest Management Units (FMU or KPH) still indicate low performance. The SF program in particular, is dependent on the role of the KPH as an institution in realizing its expected goals. Using the theory of bureaucratic politics, this article presents the implementation of the SF program under the KPH system and how both programs can mutually support or inhibit the development of the other. The research was conducted using policy content analysis in the implementation of SF and KPH programs by applying interview methods, questionnaires and field observations that are presented both qualitatively and descriptively. We find that the development of SF cannot be separated from the role of the KPH bureaucracy due to the absence of bureaucratic institutions at the site level. SF sites are located in KPH working areas and perform a central role in all aspects of SF management. However, SF programs are not clearly stated as one of the main tasks and functions of KPHs and the existence of KPH interests in realizing independence without special budget allocations for the development of SF are obstacles to its implementation. KPH also still face regulatory issues that have not fully supported KPH operations resulting in weak institutions and independence to governing hierarchies due to the strong influence of the bureaucracy at the central and provincial levels. On the other hand, the SF program is still perceived as a rival of KPHs in forest management areas and further suffer from rigid regulations that are difficult to apply, making it challenging for SF to support the objectives of KPH programming. Under these conditions, KPH tend to limit SF schemes, thus privileging specific different forestry partnership schemes that are anticipated to support the independence of the KPH.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadap modul praktikum komputer dan jaringan dasar berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research And Development (R&D). Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa SMKN 1 Kota Jantho maka dilakukan tes, dengan bentuk Pre-Test dan Post-Test.Untuk melihat ketertarikan siswa terhadap modul praktikum maka dilakukan pembagian angket respon. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada hasil Pre-Test adalah lebih rendah yaitu 39,79 dibandingkan Post-Test sebanyak 53,33. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan modul praktikum komputer dan jaringan dasar berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Adapun respon siswa SMKN 1 Kota Jantho Aceh Besar terhadap modul praktikum komputer dan jaringan dasar berbasis multimedia interaktif adalah baik. Dibuktikan dengan hasil presentase data angket menunjukan bahwa setiap butir soal, siswa dominan merespon pembelajaran dengan respon positif, nilai rata-rata presentase respon positif pada lembaran koesioner adalah 77,9%, sedangkan siswa dengan respon negatif sebanyak 22,1% maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa tertarik belajar menggunakan modul praktikum ini.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are a new class of porous crystalline polymers, which are considered to be excellent supports for metal nanoparticles (MNPs) due to their highly ordered structure, chemical tunability, and porosity. In this work, two novel ultra-microporous COFs, JUC−624 and JUC−625, with narrow pore size distribution have been synthesized and used for the confined growth of ultrafine Co nanoparticles (CoNPs) with high loading. In an alkaline environment, the produced materials were investigated as electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Electrochemical test results show that CoNPs@COFs have a Tafel slope of 84 mV·dec−1, an onset overpotential of 105 mV, and ideal stability. Remarkably, CoNPs@JUC−625 required only 146 mV of overpotential to afford a current density of 10 mA cm−2. This research will open up new avenues for making COF-supported ultrafine MNPs with good dispersity and stability for extensive applications.

In the past few decades, forest policies have caused changes in forest landscape and community lifescape in the study area of Walanae Forest Management Unit (KPH Walanae), South Sulawesi Province. This research aims to analyze forest policy dynamics and their impacts on landscape and lifescape dynamics. We quantify landscape dynamics using land use and land cover change and landscape metrics in interpreting remote sensing results of four data sets obtained in 1990, 2000, 2009, and 2016. Furthermore, we investigate lifescape dynamics using qualitative/quantitative description. We found a rapid land use change in forest landscapes within the past 26 years. A significant change showed that, in 1990–2000, the primary forest that changed into the secondary forest and shrubs has changed into dry land agriculture mix shrubs. The decreased area of the forest brought an increase in economic income for people on one side and large disturbances and forest fragmentation on the other. Various forest policies influenced the forest composition and cover but were insufficiently successful in protecting the natural forest. Results showed that several forest policies that considerably impact the landscape and lifescape conditions include forest land designation, industrial forest plantation, and restoration activities. The policies on establishing KPH and social forest program have not shown the maximum result on the landscape and lifescape improvements and, therefore, must be supported.

Applications of ultra-low-pressure filtration systems are increasing as they offer enhanced sustainability due to lower energy input, almost no use of chemicals, and minimum operational expenditure. In many cases, they operate as a decentralized system using a gravity-driven membrane (GDM) filtration process. These applications are relatively new; hence, the fundamental knowledge of the process is still limited. In this study, we investigated the phenomenon of polymeric membrane compaction under an ultra-low-pressure system. The compaction phenomenon is well-recognized in the traditional pressure-driven system operating at high transmembrane pressures (ΔPs > 200 kPa), but it is less documented in ultra-low-pressure systems (ΔP < 10 kPa). A simple GDM filtration setup operated under a constant-pressure system was employed to investigate the compaction phenomena in a polymeric hollow fiber membrane for clean water filtration. Firstly, a short-term pressure stepping test was performed to investigate the occurrence of instantaneous compaction in the ΔP range of 1–10 kPa. The slow compaction was later investigated. Finally, the compaction dynamic was assessed under alternating high and low ΔP and relaxation in between the filtrations. The findings demonstrated the prominence of membrane compaction, as shown by the decreasing trend in clean water permeability at higher ΔPs (i.e., 3240 and 2401 L m−2 h−1 bar−1 at ΔPs of 1 and 10 kPa, respectively). We also found that the intrinsic permeability of the applied polymeric membrane was significantly higher than the apparent one (4351 vs. 2401 L m−2 h−1 bar−1), demonstrating >50% loss due to compaction. The compaction was mainly instantaneous, which occurred when the ΔP was changed, whereas only minor changes in permeability occurred over time when operating at a constant ΔP. The compaction was highly reversible and could be restored (i.e., decompaction) through relaxation by temporarily stopping the filtration. A small fraction of irreversible compaction could be detected by operating alternating filtrations under ΔPs of 1 and 10 kPa. The overall findings are essential to support emerging GDM filtration applications, in which membrane compaction has been ignored and confounded with membrane fouling. The role of compaction is more prominent for high-flux GDM filtration systems treating less-fouling-prone feed (i.e., rainwater, river water) and involving membrane cleaning (i.e., relaxation) in which both reversible and irreversible compaction occurred simultaneously.

Tingginya prevalensi penderita diabetes melitus di Indonesia mengharuskan adanya upaya pengendalian diabetes melitus yang dilakukan agar dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi upaya pelaksanaan pengendalian diabetes melitus yang dilakukan penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 berdasarkan background factor (personality traits, pendidikan, pengalaman, pengetahuan dan status ekonomi) terkait locus of control yang dimiliki. Jenis penelitian explanatory research dengan desain cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel sebesar 143 responden. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda dengan metode backward. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa personality traits berpengaruh signifikan terhadap locus of control penderita diabetes melitus (α = 0.06, ρ = 0.004), pendidikan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap locus of control penderita diabetes melitus (α = 0.06, ρ = 0.919), pengalaman berpengaruh signifikan terhadap locus of control penderita diabetes melitus (α = 0.06, ρ = 0.043), pengetahuan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap locus of control penderita diabetes melitus (α = 0.06, ρ = 0.640) dan status ekonomi berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap locus of control penderita diabetes melitus (α = 0.06, ρ = 0.119). Berdasarkan background factor yang dilihat, determinan yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap locus of control penderita diabetes melitus dalam upaya mengendalikan diabetes melitus adalah personality traits dan pengalaman. Locus of control yang lebih dominan adalah internal locus of control.

Geothermal is associated with volcanic that still has heat energy below the surface. Indonesia is a country with geothermal energy reserves of around 40%. There are 256 potential geothermal areas and only 7 locations have been utilized. Gorontalo has several geothermal manifestations, such as Lombongo, Pangi, Libungo, and Hungayono. The purpose of this study was to study the geology of the geothermal manifestations of Pangi, East Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. The research method is divided into field observations, laboratory analysis, and studio analysis. The results of this research show that the geomorphology in the study area is divided into 3 units, namely the Fluvial Plain, the Volcanic Hills, and the Structural Use Landscape. Alluvial Deposition Unit, Volcanic Breccia Unit, Tuff Lapili Unit, Andesite Unit, Granodiorite Unit, and Porphyry Diorite Unit.

Aims: Nurses are one of the health workers who face a high risk of contracting a disease at their workplace. The officers who are inconsistent in maintaining standard precautions when treating patients render nurses to be exposed to infectious disease. Settings and Design: This was an analytic observational study with a longitudinal design. Materials and Methods: This study was carried out in two Provincial B Type Government Hospitals, namely, Labuang Baji Provincial Regional Hospital and Makassar Haji Regional General Hospital, in Makassar City, with a sample size of 104 respondents. The data were subjected to ANOVA test to determine the effect of organizational factors on reducing the risk of AIDS risk reduction model-based disease transmission. Results: The results of this study indicate that the organizational factors do not affect the labeling of nurses related to the reduction of the risk of disease transmission (b = 0.086, ρ = 0.379). Curbing tuberculosis (TB) requires a combination of good strategies, including a proper prevention measure, diagnosis, and treatment. This study proposes an improvised tuberculosis diagnosis based on an amperometry approach for the sensitive detection of MPT64 antigen in clinical samples. An MPT64 aptamer specific to the target antigen was covalently attached to the carboxyphenyl diazonium-functionalized carbon electrode via carbodiimide chemistry. The electrochemical detection assay was adapted from a sandwich assay format to trap the antigen between the immobilized aptamer and horseradish peroxidase (HRP) tagged polyclonal anti-MPT64 antibody. The amperometric current was measured from the catalytic reaction response between HRP, hydrogen peroxide, and hydroquinone, which is used as an electron mediator. From the analysis, the detection limit in the measurement buffer was 1.11 ng mL−1. Additionally, the developed aptasensor exhibited a linear relationship between the current signal and the MPT64 antigen-spiked serum concentration ranging from 10 to 150 ng mL−1 with a 1.38 ng mL−1 detection limit. Finally, an evaluation using the clinical sputum samples from both TB (+) and TB (−) individuals revealed a sensitivity and specificity of 88% and 100%, respectively. Based on the analysis, the developed aptasensor was found to be simple in its fabrication, sensitive, and allowed for the efficient detection and diagnosis of TB in sputum samples.

Reusing water and excess detergent from the laundry industry has become an attractive method to combat water shortages. Membrane filtration is considered an advanced technique and highly attractive due to its excellent advantages. However, the conventional membrane filtration method suffers from membrane fouling, which restricts its performance and diminishes its economic viability. This study assesses the preliminary performance of submerged, gravity-driven membrane filtration—under ultra-low trans-membrane pressure (△P) of P of 6 and 10 kPa, with corresponding permeabilities of 2085 ± 259 and 1791 ± 42 L/(m2 h bar). Filtration of a detergent solution also led to up to 8% permeability loss due to membrane fouling. During the filtration of laundry wastewater, 80–91% permeability loss was observed, leading to the lowest flux of 15.6 L/(m2·h) at △P of 10 kPa, 38% lower than △P of 6 kPa (of 25.2 L/(m2·h)). High △P led to both the membrane and the foulant compaction inflating the filtration resistance. The system could recover 83.6% of excess residual detergent, while most micelles were rejected (ascribed from 71% of COD removal). The TDS content could not be retained, disallowing maximum resource recovery. A gravity-driven filtration system can be self-sustained with minimum supervision in residential and industrial laundries. Nevertheless, a detailed study on long-term filtration performance and multiple cleaning cycles is still required in the future.

The exceptional characteristics and uniqueness of two-dimensional nickel-cobalt layered double hydroxides (Ni-Co LDHs) make them highly desirable material for supercapacitors. A combination of Ni-Co LDHs with carbon-based materials has given stupendous improvement to the performance of supercapacitors in terms of specific energy, specific capacitance, and specific power. Herein, a comprehensive insight into the recent progress of Ni-Co LDHs/carbon composites for supercapacitors is provided to the readers. Beginning with the description on the classification of supercapacitors and the detailed explanation on LDHs and carbon materials. The morphology, properties and electrochemical performances of the Ni-Co LDHs/carbon composites are well-elaborated in this review. The review also discusses the structural identification and important factors that influence the synthesis of LDHs.

There is a growing interest in the application of supercapacitors in energy storage systems due to their high specific power, fast charge/discharge rates and long cycle stability. Researchers have focused recently on developing nanomaterials to enhance their capacitive performance of supercapacitors. Particularly, the utilisation of fibres as templates has led to theoretical and practical advantages owing to their enlarged specific surface area, which allows fast electrolyte-ion diffusion. In addition, the inclusion of redox-active components, such as transition metal oxides (TMOs) and conducting polymers (CPs), into the fibres is believed to play an important role in improving the electrochemical behaviour of the fibre-based materials. Nevertheless, supercapacitors containing TMO- and CP-based fibres commonly suffer from inferior ion-transport kinetics and poor electronic conductivity, which can affect the rate capability and cycling stability of the electrodes. Therefore, the development of TMO/CP-based fibres has gained widespread attention because they synergistically combine the advantages of both materials, enabling revolutionary applications in the electrochemical field. This review describes and highlights recent progress in the development of TMO-, CP- and TMO/CP-based fibres regarding their design approach, configurations and electrochemical properties for supercapacitor applications, at the same time providing new opportunities for future energy storage technologies. This study focused on the optimization of polyvinyl-alcohol/titanium dioxide (PVA/TiO2) nanofibers as a light scattering layer in the dye-sensitized solar cell. The experiment was designed by response surface methodology with central composite design (RSM/CCD). Two parameters were studied i.e. electrospinning time and concentration of titanium tetraisopropoxide (TTIP). A quadratic model was used to determine the significance of each parameter studied towards the surface response which is power conversion efficiency (PCE). The statistical analysis showed that the electrospinning time and concentration of TTIP were significantly affected the PCE with the coefficient of variance (R2) of 0.9756. The RSM was able to predict the optimum condition of each parameter with less than 5% residual standard error. The growth of Information Technology (IT) has changed the order of conventional learning process toward the learning model without geographical boundaries, which is known as E-learning. This study aims to explore the readiness of Dayah Jeumala Amal Lueng Putu to implement the E-learning method by using ELR Aydin & Tasci data analysis model. The results of this study has shown that Dayah Jeumala Amal is ready to implement learning system based on E-learning except on Human Resources factor (2.99) and Innovation factor (3.11). The highest score is on Technology factor (4.02), followed by self-development factor (3.57). This study contributes to educational institutions to improve the quality of human resources and innovation in the implementation of learning methods based on E-learning.

ABSTRACT This study was aimed to evaluate the growth performance and gonadal development of diploid and triploid striped catfish Pangasianodon hypophthalmus. Triploids were produced through a heat shock method at 42 °C for two minutes, at two minutes after fertilization. Before treatment performed, group of triploid and diploid were separated through nucleolus counting confirmed cromoseme counting. Five individual of each group at the age of nine months were tagged and reared for two months. Parameter of growth performance, feed conversion ratio, and survival rate were analysed using independent-samples t-test at confidence interval 95%, while gonadosomatic index (GSI) and gonad histology were analysed descriptively. No significant differences were observed between diploid and triploid fish in terms of growth performance, feed conversion ratio, and survival rate (P>0.05) during the two months rearing period, while GSI was higher in diploid (PP. hypophthalmus growth performance did not differ up to the age of 11 months, although some sterility symptoms were observed in both male and female. Parameter pertumbuhan, rasio konversi pakan, dan kelangsungan hidup dianalisis menggunakan independent-samples t-test pada selang kepercayaan 95% sedangkan gonadosomatik indeks (GSI) dan histologi gonad dianalisis secara deskriptif.
