This study aimed to identify microRNAs (miRs), the deregulated expression of which leads to the activation of oncogenic pathways in human breast cancer (BC). miRs are classes of endogenous, small, noncoding RNAs that regulate gene expression aberrantly in human tumor tissues. A total of 39 out of 123 tumoral and matched uninvolved peritumoral breast specimens from 3 independent subsets of patients were analyzed for the expression of 851 human miRs using an Agilent platform. The remaining 84 samples were used to validate miRs differentially expressed between tumoral and matched peritumoral specimens by quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Animal assay was further used to test the role of miR-9 and Her-2 in the pathogenesis of BC. All 39 matched samples were analyzed by unsupervised cluster analysis. This analytical approach identified a signature of miRs (miR-9, miR-148a, miR-31, miR-375, miR-21, miR-135b, miR-196a and miR-196b) that were significantly modulated between tumoral and peritumoral tissues in both subsets of patients. Her-2 protein staining increased in tumoral specimens when miR-9 downregulation correlated with the prognostic value. The ectopic expression of miR-9 inhibited the colony-forming ability, migration and tumor engraftment of BC cells. miR-9 targeted the Her-2 messenger RNA and increased responsiveness of BC cells to docetaxel (DOC) or cyclophosphamide treatment. The ectopic expression of Her-2 protein counteracted the miR-9 proapoptotic activity in response to DOC. These findings suggested that the modulation of aberrant expression of miR-9, which in turn induces oncogenic Her-2 protein activity, might hold promise for preventive and therapeutic management of BC.

High-spin states of $^{113}\mathrm{In}$ have been populated using the $^{110}\mathrm{Pd}(^{7}\mathrm{Li},4n)^{113}\mathrm{In}$ reaction at beam energies of 38 and 50 MeV. More than 50 new $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ transitions are observed in $^{113}\mathrm{In}$. Three previously observed magnetic dipole bands are extended to higher spin states, and several new $E2$ crossover transitions within the bands are observed in two of the dipole bands. A new positive-parity $▵I=2$ band built on the $\ensuremath{\pi}{d}_{5/2}$ configuration is established. The known $▵I=2$ band is extended to $51/{2}^{+}$ state, and a gentle up-bend associated to the alignment of neutrons in the normal-parity $\ensuremath{\nu}{g}_{7/2}/{d}_{5/2}$ orbitals is found. The properties of this band are discussed based on the self-consistent tilted axis cranking relativistic mean-field model calculations. The predicted $B(E2)$, deformation parameters ${\ensuremath{\beta}}_{2}$ and $\ensuremath{\gamma}$, and ${J}^{(2)}/B(E2)$ ratios indicate that the $▵I=2$ band based on the $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{9/2}^{\ensuremath{-}2}{g}_{7/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{({h}_{11/2})}^{2}$ and $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{9/2}^{\ensuremath{-}2}{g}_{7/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{({h}_{11/2})}^{2}{({g}_{7/2}/{d}_{5/2})}^{2}$ configurations, has the characteristics of antimagnetic rotation. Furthermore, the two-shears-like mechanism for the possible antimagnetic rotational bands is examined by investigating the orientation of the angular momenta.

Excited states of odd-odd nucleus 92Nb and odd-A nucleus 93Nb were populated in the 6Li+ 89Y reaction with an incident energy of 34 MeV. The processes that produce 92,93Nb and can be measured by a combination of light charged particle and gamma ray measurements are discussed. Twenty new transitions are observed and eight new levels are constructed in 92Nb, and in addition two new transitions are added to the level scheme of 93Nb. Using shell model calculations, the low-lying structure of 92Nb is investigated and compared with the experimental results.

High-spin states of $^{138}\mathrm{Pm}$ have been populated using the $^{124}\mathrm{Te}(^{19}\mathrm{F},\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}5\mathrm{n})^{138}\mathrm{Pm}$ reaction at a beam energy of 105 MeV. A new positive-parity side band with the same $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ configuration as that of the yrast band is observed in $^{138}\mathrm{Pm}$. The properties of the two positive-parity bands show general agreement with the fingerprints of chiral rotation and thus these two bands are suggested to be candidates for near degenerate chiral doublet bands. Besides, odd-even spin staggering of the $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ bands is studied systematically in odd-odd Cs, La, Pr, and Pm isotopes. As a result of this study we suggest that the spin value of lowest observed state of the yrast band be reassigned as 9 in $^{138}\mathrm{Pm}$. This new spin assignment is also supported by the argument of alignment additivity.

Background and aims To investigate the survival rate and prognostic factors of neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus (NPSLE) in a cohort. Methods A total of 101 NPSLE inpatients diagnosed in a single centre from 2005 to 2016 were included. Information on survival status, date and causes of death was acquired by follow-up. Data were analysed using Kaplan–Meier curves, log-rank tests and Cox proportional hazards modelling. Results The overall survival rates of the NPSLE cohort were 89%, 85% and 84% at 1, 3 and 5 years respectively. The standardised mortality ratio (SMR) of NPSLE patients was 11.14. The most common cause of death was NPSLE (7, 47%), including intracranial hypertension syndrome (4, 27%), cerebrovascular disease (2, 13%) and motor neuron disease (1, 7%). The remaining causes included other SLE complications (3, 20%) and infection (2, 13%). Crude analysis showed that the following variables at diagnosis were associated with a shorter survival period: cardiac involvement, renal involvement, diffuse NPSLE, acute confusional state, number of NPSLE manifestations >1, lymphocyte 9 /L, elevated C-reactive protein(CRP), abnormal cerebrospinal fluid and high systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index (SLEDAI). On multivariate analysis, acute confusional state (p=0.004), high SLEDAI (p=0.020) and elevated CRP (p=0.023) were independently prognostic of death. Conclusions Our study demonstrate an 11.14-fold increased mortality of NPSLE patients compared with general population. NPSLE itself is the most frequent cause of death. Acute confusional state is the most significant predictive factor for poor prognosis.

Excited states in $^{125}\mathrm{Cs}$ have been studied with the fusion-evaporation-reaction $^{116}\mathrm{Cd}(^{14}\mathrm{N},5n)$ at 65-MeV beam energy. The level scheme of $^{125}\mathrm{Cs}$ was extended with the addition of more than 50 new \ensuremath{\gamma} transitions and with the identification of two new rotational bands built on the $\ensuremath{\pi}{d}_{5/2}$ and $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{7/2}$ configurations at low spins. The bandhead excitation energies of the previously known $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{9/2}$ and $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}$ bands were revised.

High-spin states of 160 Tm are studied via in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy. Previously known rotational bands are confirmed. These bands feed into low-lying states which are enriched in this work. A four-quasiparticle band with configuration of πg7/2 ⊗ νh9/2 ⊗ ν(i13/2)2 is established. Signature splitting features of πh11/2⊗νi13/2 and πh11/2⊗νh9/2 bands are presented.

The elastic resonance scattering protons decayed from B-11 to the ground state of Be-10 were measured by using the thick-target technique in inverse kinematics at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL). The obtained excitation functions were well described by a multichannel R-matrix procedure under the kinematics process assumption of resonant elastic scattering. The excitation energy of the resonant states ranges from 13.0 to 17.0 MeV, and their resonant parameters such as the resonant energy E-x, the spin-parity J(pi), and the proton-decay partial width Gamma(p) were determined from R-matrix fits to the data. Two of these states around E-x = 14.55 MeV [J(pi) = (3/2(+), 5/2(+)), Gamma(p) = 475 +/- 80 keV] and E-x = 14.74 MeV [J(pi) = 3/2(-), Gamma(p) = 830 +/- 145 keV], and a probably populated state at E-x = 16.18 MeV [J(pi) = (1/2(-), 3/2-), Gamma(p) < 60 keV], are respectively assigned to the well-known states in B-11 at 14.34, 15.29, and 16.43 MeV. The isospin of these three states were previously determined to be T = 3/2, but discrepancies exist in widths and energies due to the current counting statistics and energy resolution. We have compared these states with previous measurements, and the observation of the possibly populated resonance is discussed.

High-spin states in 171Ta were populated through the heavy-ion fusion-evaporation reaction 157Gd (19F, 5n)171Ta at 105MeV beam energy. Lifetimes of the levels of the πh 9/21/2[541] band have been measured by using the Doppler shift attenuation method. The transition quadrupole moments ( Q t) and the quadrupole deformation (β2) have been extracted. Both β2 and Q t values decrease slightly with increasing rotational frequency. The average β2 value of 0.26 is 18% larger than that of the πh 11/2 9/2[514] band. Total Routhian Surface calculations have been performed with the non-axial deformed Woods-Saxon potential and the predicted values of the quadrupole deformation β2 are in good agreement with that deduced from our lifetime measurement. The shape-driving effect is discussed.

High spin states in the odd-odd nucleus 124Cs have been investigated through the fusion-evaporation reaction 116Sn(11B, 3n)124Cs with a beam energy of 45 MeV. A new rotational band is established and assigned as the high-k configuration of πg9/2[404]9/2+⊗νh11/2[523]7/2−. Some structures linking to this band have also been observed. According to the results of the excitation energy systematics, the lowest level of this band is assigned as 9-, and the 8- isomer bandhead has not been observed. Another isomer with a half life of 6.3 s has also been observed with its new decay paths established. Its excitation energy is raised by 79 keV, but its Iπ is not changed.

High spin states in the odd-A nucleus 113In have been investigated using the reaction 110Pd(7Li, 4n) at a beam energy of 50 MeV. A new positive parity dipole band with the configuration of π(g9/2)−1 ⊗ ν(h11/2)2 ⊗ ν(g7/2)2 is established. The effective interaction V(θ) values of this band have been successfully described by a semiclassical geometric model based on shear mechanism, which show that the dipole band has the characteristics of magnetic rotation. In addition the collective rotational angular momentum for this band is extracted. The results show that the core contribution increases gradually with the increase of the rotation frequency.

Five rotational bands with configurations {π7/2+[404] ⊗ν5/2+[642]} K = 6, {π9/2-[514] ⊗ν5/2+[642]} K = 7, {π1/2+[411] ⊗ν5/2+[642]} K = 2, {π1/2-[541] ⊗ν5/2+[642]} K = 2 and {π5/2+[402] ⊗ν5/2+[642]} K = 5 were populated through the 152Sm ( 19F, 5n) 166Lu reaction at a beam energy of 97MeV. The last three bands are identified in the present study. A phase change of level staggering is observed and low-spin signature inversion is suggested in the band {π1/2-[541] ⊗ν5/2+[642]} K=2. The inversion spin 17.5? (spin at inversion point) of this band fits well to the systematic variation trend of inversion spin, increasing with N and decreasing with Z, for the known π1/2-[541] ⊗νi13/2 bands observed in odd-odd deformed nuclei around A = 170.

High-spin states in ${}^{158}\mathrm{Ho}$ have been studied through the ${}^{152}\mathrm{Sm}{(}^{11}\mathrm{B}{,5n)}^{158}\mathrm{Ho}$ reaction at a beam energy of 60 MeV. In addition to the previously known yrast band, three new rotational bands, namely, the ${{p7/2}^{\ensuremath{-}}[523]\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{n3/2}^{\ensuremath{-}}[521]}{K}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}{=5}^{+}$ ground-state band, the ${{p7/2}^{+}[404]\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{n3/2}^{+}[651]}{K}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}{=5}^{+}$ band, and the ${{p7/2}^{\ensuremath{-}}[523]\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{n11/2}^{\ensuremath{-}}[505]}{K}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}{=9}^{+}$ band, are proposed. The yrast band is connected to the ground-state band, and its configuration is reassigned as the ${{p7/2}^{\ensuremath{-}}[523]\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{n3/2}^{+}[651]}{K}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}{=5}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ rather than the ${{p7/2}^{\ensuremath{-}}[523]\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{n5/2}^{+}[642]}{K}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}{=6}^{\ensuremath{-}}.$ On the basis of the present experimental study, the spin values of the member states of the yrast band turn out to be larger by three units with respect to the earlier tentative spin assignments and in agreement with the latest spin assignments based on the arguments of the level energy systematics and the alignment additivity.

High spin states of are reinvestigated through the reaction at the beam energy of 54 MeV. Two new levels are added to the lower side of the most strongly populated band and the previously proposed 488 keV linking transition between the two observed bands is replaced by the 95 keV linking transition. As a result of these new observations, it becomes reasonable to assign the most strongly populated band in as the yrast band.

The excitation energy systematics of $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ yrast bands of odd-odd isotopes ${}^{118--132}\mathrm{Cs}$ are studied, and as a result of this study we suggest that the spin values of lowest observed states of yrast bands of ${}^{118,122,124,126,128}\mathrm{Cs}$ be reassigned as 8, 9, 9, 9, and 10, respectively. These new spin assignments are also supported by the argument of alignment additivity.

High-spin states of ${}^{126}$La have been populated using the ${}^{116}$Sn(${}^{14}$N, 4$n$)${}^{126}$La reaction at a beam energy of 77 MeV. A side band linking to the known yrast $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ band is observed. $B(M1)/B(E2)$ ratios and alignments of the side band and DCO ratios of linking transitions between the side band and the yrast band suggest that the side band has the same $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ configuration as that of the yrast band, and thus the side band is a second $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ band in ${}^{126}$La. The separation energy, $\ensuremath{\Delta}E(I)=E{(I)}_{\mathrm{side}}\ensuremath{-}E{(I)}_{\mathrm{yrast}}$, between the side band and the yrast band at the same spin, and the energy staggering parameter $S(I)$ of the second $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ band in ${}^{126}$La are compared to those of other odd-odd La isotopes. The variation trends of $\ensuremath{\Delta}E(I)$ and $S(I)$ both suggest that it is reasonable to interpret the second $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ band in ${}^{126}$La as an excited $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ band as proposed for ${}^{124}$La rather than to interpret it as a partner band of a near degenerate chiral doublet band as done for ${}^{128\ensuremath{-}134}$La.

High spin states in $^{175}\mathrm{Ta}$ are populated by the $^{160}\mathrm{Gd}$ ${(}^{19}$F,4n) $^{175}\mathrm{Ta}$ reaction. This experiment, carried out at the HI-13 tandem accelerator at the China Institute of Atomic Energy which measured the \ensuremath{\gamma}-\ensuremath{\gamma} coincidences, gives rise to a new level scheme. Two important new features are embedded in this scheme. First, the seven decay sequences built on 1/2 [541], 7/2 [404], 5/2 [402], and 9/2 [514] proton Nilsson configurations are significantly extended to higher spins. For example, for the 1/2 [541] band, the levels have extended from 33/${2}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ to 61/${2}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ and, for the 7/2 [404] band, from 21/${2}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ to 41/${2}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$. Second, compared to the neighboring even-even nuclides, the neutron AB crossing frequency built on the ${\mathit{h}}_{9/2}$ proton Nilsson state 1/2 [541] is significantly larger, which according to the conventional cranking shell model (CSM) is an anomaly. In this paper, this large crossing frequency is also discussed within the framework of the projected shell model. It is shown that this anomaly found in CSM can be satisfactorily explained, thus suggesting an alternative understanding. \textcopyright{} 1996 The American Physical Society.

According to the argument of excitation energy systematics, new spin values are assigned to the lowest observed states of the \ensuremath{\pi}${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$ bands for doubly odd nuclei $^{124,126,130,132,134}\mathrm{La}$, $^{130--134}\mathrm{Pr}$, $^{136,138}\mathrm{Pm}$, and $^{138}\mathrm{Eu}$, and possible new spin values are discussed for doubly odd nuclei $^{120--130}\mathrm{Cs}$. Based on these new spin assignments, two systematic features of the \ensuremath{\pi}${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$ bands are revealed. First, the low spin signature of the \ensuremath{\pi}${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$ band is inverted for all doubly odd nuclei discussed in the present work. Second, the observed inversion spin increases with increasing neutron number for Cs and La isotopes. These features are in agreement with the recent systematic calculations based on the particle-triaxial-rotor model, with the inclusion of zero-range residual interaction between unpaired proton and neutron of Semmes and Ragnarsson, performed by Tajima. \textcopyright{} 1996 The American Physical Society.

The level scheme with spin up to I = 26 in the yrast band in is reported and low-spin signature inversion with the inversion point at is observed in this band. In the chain of Lu doubly-odd isotopes, with increasing neutron number, the low-spin staggering magnitude of signature dependence decreases and, at the same time, the inversion point shifts to lower spin.

Based on the arguments of excitation energy systematics and alignment additivity rule, the spins of the lowest observed states of the (${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$${)}_{\mathit{p}}$(${\mathit{i}}_{13/2}$${)}_{\mathit{n}}$ bands in $^{156}\mathrm{Tb}$, $^{158}\mathrm{Ho}$, $^{166}\mathrm{Lu}$, and $^{168}\mathrm{Ta}$ are assigned as 8, 9, 8, and 9 instead of the previous assignments of 6, 6, 7, and 10, respectively. Taking these new spin assignments and the preliminary experimental results of $^{162,164}\mathrm{Lu}$ into account, the systematic features of the signature inversion of the (${\mathit{h}}_{11/2}$${)}_{\mathit{p}}$(${\mathit{i}}_{13/2}$${)}_{\mathit{n}}$ bands of the doubly odd nuclei in the lighter rare-earth region (around A\ensuremath{\sim}160) are presented.

Excited states in the odd-proton nucleus 125Cs were investigated by means of in-beam γ -ray spectroscopy. The πg7/2 band is observed to fork into a ΔI = 1 coupled band and a ΔI = 2 decoupled band at high spins. To assign the possible configurations of these two bands, experimental B(M1)/B(E2) ratios and signature splittings have been evaluated for the ΔI = 1 band, and calculations based on the geometrical model, cranked shell model and total Routhian surfaces model have been performed. They are suggested to be a near-oblate band built on the (πg7/2/d5/2) ⊗ (νh11/2)2 configuration and a prolate band built on the πg7/2 ⊗ (πh11/2)2 configuration, respectively.

Previous to the present study, three isolated rotational bands with tentative spin assignments had been reported in the literature and the authors estimated that, to meet the predicted alignments, the spin of these bands has to be increased by $4\ensuremath{\hbar}$ to 5$\ensuremath{\hbar}$. Based on the linking transitions observed in the present work, through the reaction ${}^{118}$Sn(${}^{14}$N,4n)${}^{128}$La, and the ${I}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}={5}^{+}$ assignment for the bandhead of the yrast band proposed by Hayakawa, Lu, Mukai, Saitoh, Hasimoto, Komatsubara, and Furuno [Z. Phys. A 352, 241 (1995)] from $\ensuremath{\beta}$-decay studies, the spins of these bands are reassigned. The alignments of bands in ${}^{128}$La deduced from the present spin assignments are consistent with the alignments of relevant bands observed in neighboring odd-$A$ nuclei ${}^{127}$La, ${}^{127}$Ba, and ${}^{131}$La. Additionally, a new band with a tentative configuration assignment $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{d}_{3/2}$ is reported.

High-spin states in ${}^{126}$I have been investigated by using in-beam $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray spectroscopy with the ${}^{124}$Sn(${}^{7}\text{Li},5n$)${}^{126}$I reaction at a beam energy of 48 MeV. The level scheme of ${}^{126}$I has been extended and modified considerably by adding about 80 new $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ rays and establishing five new bands. The configurations have been tentatively assigned for the yrast, yrare, and other excited bands with the help of triaxial projected shell-model (TPSM) and cranked shell-model calculations. The first band crossing in the yrast band is found due to alignments of a pair of ${({h}_{11/2})}^{2}$ neutrons. The first and the second band crossings in the yrare band are caused by the alignments of a pair of ${({d}_{5/2})}^{2}$ protons and a pair of ${({h}_{11/2})}^{2}$ neutrons, respectively. Due to the successive excitations of two, four, and six quasiparticles, the alignments in the yrare band present a gigantic rising feature. The yrast band exhibits a signature inversion at low spins and becomes normal after a reversion spin of ${I}_{\mathrm{rev}}=14$. The yrare band exhibits an abnormal signature inversion in which the signature inversion phase persists up to the highest spin. The signature inversions in ${}^{126}$I are well reproduced and successfully interpreted by the TPSM calculations. Some features of chirality are found for the four-quasiparticle (4qp) part of the yrast band and the 4qp excited band 2.

Level structures of 113In have been studied through the fusion-evaporation reaction 110Pd (7Li ,4n113In at a beam energy of 50MeV. More than 40 new \( \gamma\) transitions have been observed in 113In . Two new dipole bands are established and one of them is proposed as a magnetic rotation band with the configuration of \(\ensuremath \pi g_{9/2}^{-1}\otimes\nu h_{11/2}^{2} g_{7/2}^{2}\) . Self-consistent tilted axis cranking relativistic mean field calculations have been performed to interpret the rotational structure. Several decay paths of the \(\ensuremath \pi h_{11/2}\) intruder band have been established, by which the level energies and spins of the \(\ensuremath \pi h_{11/2}\) intruder band are determined.

The candidate chiral doublet bands in ${}^{128}$La have been searched for through the ${}^{118}$Sn(${}^{14}$N, 4n)${}^{128}$La reaction at a beam energy of 69 MeV. A positive-parity sideband with the same configuration as that of the yrast band has been identified. The positive-parity and spins of the sideband have been assigned based on the $\ensuremath{\Delta}I=1$ mixed $M1/E2$ and $E2$ characters of the linking transitions between the sideband and the yrast band. The properties of the sideband and the yrast band are discussed. The newly identified sideband and the yrast band are suggested to form the candidate of the near degenerate chiral doublet bands.

The high spin states of $^{112}\mathrm{In}$ have been investigated with in-beam $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray spectroscopic methods using the $^{110}\mathrm{Pd}$$({}^{7}\mathrm{Li},5n)$$^{112}\mathrm{In}$ reaction at a beam energy of 50 MeV. A level scheme with three band structures has been established and their configurations are discussed. The positive-parity dipole band has been assigned as a magnetic rotation band. Particle-rotor model calculations have also been performed to interpret the rotational structures in $^{112}\mathrm{In}$.

High-spin states of $^{106}\mathrm{Ag}$ were populated via the fusion-evaporation reaction $^{100}\mathrm{Mo}$ ($^{11}\mathrm{B}$,$5n$)$^{106}\mathrm{Ag}$ at a beam energy of $60$ MeV. A rich level scheme with six band structures has been established. A high-$K$ negative-parity band has been identified and assigned to the $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{9/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}[{h}_{11/2}({g}_{7/2}/{d}_{5/2}){}^{2}$] configuration. The positive parity $△I=1$ band, built on the ${12}^{+}$ state, is discussed in terms of the magnetic rotation model. The systematic study of similar bands in the $A~110$ mass region indicates that the magnetic rotation phenomenon has, as lower boundary, the Ag isotopes at $Z=47$.

High spin states in {sup 139}Nd nucleus have been reinvestigated with the reaction {sup 128}Te ({sup 16}O, 5n) at a beam energy of 90 MeV. The level scheme has been expanded with spin up to 47/2({Dirac_h}/2{pi}). At low spin, the yrast collective structure built on the {nu}h{sub 11/2}{sup -1} multiplet shows a triaxial shape with {gamma}{approx_equal}32 deg. according to calculations of the triaxial rotor-plus-particle model. The configurations for some high spin states have been discussed from a systematic comparison with neighboring nuclei. Three collective oblate bands with {gamma}{approx}-60 deg. at high spin were identified for the first time. A band crossing is observed around ({Dirac_h}/2{pi}){omega}{approx}0.4 MeV in one oblate band based on the 25/2{sup -} level. The characteristics for these oblate bands have been discussed.

The nucleus $^{126}\mathrm{Cs}$ was investigated by means of in-beam \ensuremath{\gamma}-ray spectroscopy techniques using the Nordball detector system at the Niels Bohr Institute. Excited states of $^{126}\mathrm{Cs}$ were populated via the $^{116}\mathrm{Cd}$($^{14}\mathrm{N}$, $4n$)$^{126}\mathrm{Cs}$ reaction at a beam energy of 65 MeV. The $^{126}\mathrm{Cs}$ level scheme was considerably extended, especially at negative parity and about 40 new levels and 70 new transitions were added into the level scheme. The previously reported negative-parity rotational bands, built on $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{7/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2},\ensuremath{\pi}{d}_{5/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2},\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{g}_{7/2}$, and $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{d}_{5/2}$ configurations, have been extended and evolve into bands involving rotationally aligned $(\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}){}^{2}$ and $(\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}){}^{2}$ quasiparticles. Two new rotational bands have been tentatively assigned the $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{s}_{1/2}$ and $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{9/2}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}\ensuremath{\nu}{h}_{11/2}$ configurations, respectively.

High-spin states in the odd-odd {sup 138}Pr nucleus were reinvestigated with the reaction {sup 128}Te({sup 14}N,4n) at a beam energy of 64 MeV. Six collective bands were observed, and two of them were newly identified. For the {pi}h{sub 11/2}x{nu}h{sub 11/2} band, high-spin states are followed up to I{sup {pi}}=16{sup +}. The spin values for this band have been reassigned based on the systematical comparison with the neighboring nuclei. The observed band crossing is proposed to be due to the alignment of protons, and the signature inversion with the neutron number changing in La and Pr isotopes has been discussed. The other five collective bands are proposed to be based on oblate deformation with {gamma}{approx}-60 deg.

Three new bands in 174Ta have been identified by using the 160Gd(19F,5n) reaction at beam energies of 87 MeV and 96 MeV. Nilsson configurations are assigned to these bands. In the 9/2−[514]p+5/2−[512]n band, the AB neutron crossing occurs at a rotational frequency of 0.30 MeV. This is indicative of the disappearance of the evidence for a reduction in neutron pair correlations.

A new rotational band has been observed in 167Lu by 152Sm (19F,4n)reaction at the HI-13 tandem accelerator of CIAE in Beijing. The high spin transition energies of the new band are almost identical to the triaxial superdeformed bands recently discovered in 163Lu and 165Lu. This new band is predicted as a triaxial superdeformed band by total routhian surface calculations.

The candidate chiral doublet bands recently observed in $^{126}\mathrm{Cs}$ have been extended to higher spins, several new linking transitions between the two partner members of the chiral doublet bands are observed, and \ensuremath{\gamma}-intensities related to the chiral doublet bands are presented by analyzing the $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-$\ensuremath{\gamma}$ coincidence data collected earlier at the NORDBALL through the $^{116}\mathrm{Cd}$($^{14}\mathrm{N}$, $4n$)$^{126}\mathrm{Cs}$ reaction at a beam energy of 65 MeV. The intraband $B(M1)/B(E2)$ and interband $B(M1){}_{\mathrm{in}}/B(M1){}_{\mathrm{out}}$ ratios and the energy staggering parameter, S(I), have been deduced for these doublet bands. The results are found to be consistent with the chiral interpretation for the two structures. Furthermore, the observation of chiral doublet bands in $^{126}\mathrm{Cs}$ together with those in $^{124}\mathrm{Cs}$, $^{128}\mathrm{Cs}$, $^{130}\mathrm{Cs}$, and $^{132}\mathrm{Cs}$ also indicates that the chiral conditions do not change rapidly with decreasing neutron number in these odd-odd Cesium isotopes.

High-spin states in {sup 162}Ho have been populated in the reaction {sup 160}Gd({sup 7}Li, 5n) at a beam energy of 49 MeV. The K {sup {pi}}=1{sup -} band, the low-K Gallagher-Moszkowski (GM) partner band of known high-K(K {sup {pi}}=6{sup -}) band, based on the configuration {pi}7/2{sup -}[523]{center_dot}{nu}5/2{sup +}[642], and the K {sup {pi}}=6{sup +} band, the high-K GM partner band of known low-K(K{sup {pi}}=1{sup +}) band, based on the configuration {pi}7/2{sup -}[523]{center_dot}{nu}5/2{sup -}[523], have been identified. GM splitting energies, defined as {delta}E{sub GM}=E{sub int}{sup K-}E{sub int}{sup K,} 80 keV and -135 keV were extracted from these two sets of GM doublet bands, respectively. They are comparable with 65 keV and -145 keV, reported recently by Hojman et al. for the corresponding configurations {pi}7/2{sup -}[523]{center_dot}{nu}5/2{sup +}[642] and {pi}7/2{sup -}[523]{center_dot}{nu}5/2{sup -}[523] in {sup 164}Ho, respectively.

Introduction Antipsychotic drugs (APDs) are the first-line pharmacological treatments for schizophrenia. Recent human studies have found that myelin integrity could be improved by APD treatment in schizophrenia patients. Previous studies indicated that regulation of oligodendrocyte development and function may be a novel target for APDs. Aims The aim of this current study was to examine the possible effects of the antipsychotic drugs (APDs) haloperidol (HAL), olanzapine (OLA), and quetiapine (QUE) on the development of oligodendroglial lineage cells. Main methods CG4 cells, an oligodendrocyte progenitor cell line, were treated with various concentrations of HAL, OLA, or QUE for specific periods. The proliferation and differentiation of the CG4 cells were measured. The regulation of CG4 cell differentiation by oligodendrocyte lineage transcription factors 1 and 2 (Olig1 and Olig2) was examined. Results The APDs used in this study had no effect on the proliferation of CG4 cells. The APDs elevated the expression of 2’,3’-cyclic nucleotide 3’-phosphodiesterase (CNP), a specific marker of oligodendrocytes, and promoted the CG4 cells to differentiate into CNP positive oligodendrocytes. QUE and OLA increased the expression of Olig1 and Olig2 whereas HAL only increased the expression of Olig2. Conclusions Our findings suggest that oligodendrocyte development is a target of HAL, OLA, and QUE and provide further evidence of the important role of oligodendrocytes in the pathophysiology and treatment of schizophrenia. They also indicate that the expression level of oligodendrocyte/myelinrelated genes could be profoundly affected by APDs.

High spin states of 128La have been studied through the fusion-evaporation reaction 118Sn(14N, 4n)128La at a beam energy of 69 MeV. A positive-parity side band with the same configuration as that of the yrast band has been identified. Moreover, it is noted that the energy separation ΔE(I) = E(I)side − E(I)yrast of all doublet bands reported in odd-odd nuclei in the A~130 mass region exhibit a staggering pattern systematically, and they stagger up at even-spin and stagger down at odd-spin.

Lifetimes of excited states above 10+ in the yrast band in 176Os have been measured using the Doppler shift attenuation method, via the fusion evaporation reaction . Lifetimes of states over 12+ were measured for the first time. The deduced transitional quadruple moments (Qt), together with the previous data using a recoil distance method, are compared with theoretical calculations based on the X(5) model and the interaction boson model. For the states below spin 10+, the data of previous work support an X(5)-like structure, but for the states above 10+, the value of Qt remains almost constant, being the characteristic of a symmetric rotor. The present result suggests that the shape of the nucleus 176Os changes from X(5) critical-point symmetry to an axially deformed rotor with increasing spin.

A rotational band of160Lu was identified for the first time through the144Sm(19F,3n)160Lu reaction with a beam energy of 90 MeV. A γ-γ-BGO coincidence experiment was performed using five HpGe-BGO Compton-Suppressed spectrometers and a 14 elements ball of BGO detectors. The highest spin of the band with π9/2−[514]⊗v1/2+[660] could be pushed up to 21−, and it shows the feature of an anomalous signature splitting.

The yrast band in the doubly odd156Tm nucleus was studied through144Sm(19F,2p5n)156Tm reaction at beam energy of 105MeV. Several high-spin states of156Tm were identified and the highest spin of the band with configurationπ7/2−[523] ⊗v1/2+[660] could be built up to spin 25ħ. The level structure shows the onset of a non- or weak collectivity which generally appears at neutron number of 87 in neutron-deficient rare-earth nuclei.

The high-spin states of 112In have been investigated with in-beam \( \gamma\) -ray spectroscopic methods using the 110Pd (7Li, 5n)112In reaction at a beam energy of 50MeV. A level scheme with 3 band structures has been established. The backbending associated with the alignment of a pair of g7/2/d5/2 neutrons has been found in the negative-parity yrast band. The configuration for the positive-parity yrare band has been assigned to \( \pi\)g9/2 ⊗ \( \nu\)g7/2 for the lower-spin states, and \( \pi\)g9/2 ⊗ \( \nu\)h211/2(g7/2) for the higher-spin levels.
