Teknologi 5G adalah generasi terbaru dari komunikasi seluler yang menghadirkan kecepatan transfer data yang tinggi dengan bandwidth yang lebar pada beberapa frekuensi kerja yaitu high-band 28 GHz, mid-band 15 GHz, dan low-band 3,5 GHz. Penelitian ini mengusulkan rancangan antena mikrostrip berpolarisasi melingkar yang bekerja pada frekuensi 3,5 GHz untuk sistem komunikasi 5G. Antena dirancang dengan menggunakan substrat FR4 epoxy yang memilki karakteristik ketebalan substrat 1,6 mm, konstanta dielektrik 4,3, dan tangent loss 0,0265. Metode perancangan antena yang digunakan adalah array 2x1 truncated corner dan slit. Hasil simulasi dari perancangan antena menghasilkan nilai return loss -30,7 dB, dan gain 8,427 dB. Dengan menggunakan metode array 2x1, gain antena berhasil ditingkatkan hingga 47,79% serta dengan menambahkan slit nilai return loss berhasil direduksi hingga 94,8%, dan bandwidth berhasil ditingkatkan hingga 230,32% dibandingkan dengan antena mikrostrip rectangular elemen tunggal. Pada penelitian ini juga telah berhasil merancang antena berpolarisasi melingkar dengan nilai axial ratio 1,441 dB.

Penelitian ini mengusulkan rancangan suatu antena yang bekerja pada frekuensi 3.5 GHz yang digunakan untuk sistem komunikasi generasi kelima. Antena dirancang dengan substrat Duroid RO5880 yang memiliki spesifikasi konstanta dielektrik = 2.2, ketebalan substrat = 1.58 mm, dan loss tangent senilai 0,0009. Substrat duroid RO5880 dipilih karena memiliki nilai konstanta dielektrik yang kecil, sehingga losses antena dapat dikurangi. Antena yang dirancang memiliki gain yang tinggi dan pola radiasi yang terarah dengan metode inset feed dan metode array. Antena yang telah ditambahkan dengan metode inset feed dan metode array memiliki luas substrat sebesar 16.2 cm2, return loss -38.96 dB, VSWR 1.18, dan gain 13.03 dB pada frekuensi 3.5 GHz. Setelah menggunakan metode inset feed, nilai return loss berhasil tereduksi hingga 95.48%, mengalami kenaikan bandwidth hingga 4.06% dan dengan menggunakan metode array nilai gain mengalami peningkatan hingga 95.93% dibandingkan dengan antena elemen tunggal. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan rekomendasi untuk disain antena penerima pada sistem komunikasi 5G.

ABSTRAK Kondisi kendaraan yang saling bergerak pada sistem komunikasi Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) menyebabkan daya sinyal yang diterima berfluktuasi. Selain itu, dengan adanya pergeseran frekuensi Doppler mengakibatkan semakin sulitnya menjaga level Bit Error Rate (BER) kurang dari 0,001. Mengubah threshold channel gain pada modulasi adaptif adalah salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan untuk menjaga level performansi tanpa mengorbankan nilai Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Sayangnya threshold yang memberikan SNR optimal belum diketahui. Pada penelitian ini digunakan algoritma random forest regression untuk mencari nilai threshold channel gain demi didapatkannya nilai SNR terbaik. Dari hasil prediksi dengan jumlah estimator sebanyak 7, didapatkan threshold 0.1 dan 0.3 hanya membutuhkan SNR sebesar 25.59 dB untuk menjaga BER di level < 0.001. Kata kunci: Modulasi Adaptif, Pergeseran Doppler, Random Forest Regression ABSTRACT The condition of the moving vehicles in the Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication system leads to fluctuating received signal power. In addition, the Doppler shift increases the difficulty to maintain the Bit Error Rate (BER) less than 0.001. Changing the channel gain threshold in adaptive modulation is one method that can be applied to maintain the performance level without sacrificing the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) value. Unfortunately, the threshold that provides the optimal SNR is not yet known. In this research, a random forest regression algorithm is used to determine the channel gain threshold in order to obtain the best SNR value. Based on the prediction results the number of estimators of 7, it is obtained that the thresholds of 0.1 and 0.3 only require an SNR of 25.59 dB to keep the BER at the level < 0.001. ABSTRAK Komunikasi Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) memungkinkan kendaraan dapat terhubung ke berbagai macam infrastruktur. Dengan kondisi kendaraan yang bergerak, maka kondisi lingkungan yang dilewati mempengaruhi parameter komunikasi. Implementasi modulasi adaptif pada skema V2I memperbolehkan sistem menggunakan skema modulasi yang berbeda untuk mengakomodasi perubahan kondisi lingkungan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan skema modulasi QPSK, 8PSK, dan 16-QAM dengan memanfaatkan reinforcement learning dan algoritma epsilon greedy untuk menentukan skema modulasi yang digunakan berdasarkan level AWGN. Dari hasil simulasi dengan kondisi nilai epsilon yang divariasikan dari 0.1 hingga 0.5 didapatkan bahwa semakin tinggi nilai epsilon maka semakin sering agen tidak memilih skema modulasi dengan reward tertinggi. Kata kunci: Reinforcement learning, Modulasi Adaptif, AWGN ABSTRACT Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) communication allows vehicles to be connected to various infrastructures. Under the scenario of a moving vehicle, the environmental conditions which is passed by the vehicle will affect the communication parameters. The adaptive modulation implementation in the V2I scheme allows the system to use different modulation schemes to accommodate changing environmental conditions. In this study, the QPSK, 8PSK, and 16-QAM modulation schemes were used by utilizing reinforcement learning and the epsilon greedy algorithm to determine the modulation scheme used based on AWGN level. From the simulation results with the conditions of the epsilon value varying from 0.1 to 0.5, it is found that the higher the epsilon value, the more often the agent does not choose the modulation scheme with the highest reward. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengusulkan desain dan prototipe antena mikrostrip log periodik yang dikembangkan dengan metode parasitik air gap (celah udara) untuk aplikasi TV digital pada rentang frekuensi 478-694 MHz. Penggunaan elemen parasitik dengan celah udara bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai gain pada antena. Dari hasil pengukuran diperoleh nilai return loss sebesar -20.27 dB dan VSWR sebesar 1.31 pada frekuensi kerja 600 MHz. Bandwidth yang dihasilkan dari antena yang telah dipabrikasi adalah 273 MHz dengan rentang frekuensi kerja 461 MHz – 734 MHz. Gain yang dihasilkan dari antena mikrostrip log periodik dengan elemen parasitik adalah 16.67 dB pada frekuensi kerja 600 MHz atau meningkat 40.02 % dibandingkan dengan log periodik konvensional yang telah didesain sebelumnya. Dari keseluruhan hasil yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa antena yang diusulkan dapat digunanakan sebagai antena penerima untuk aplikasi TV Digital di Indonesia. Kata kunci: antena, mikrostrip, log periodik, parasitik, celah udara ABSTRACT This study proposes the design and prototype of log periodic microstrip antenna which was developed using the parasitic air gap for digital TV applications with a frequency range of 478-694 MHz. The use of parasitic elements with air gap aims to increase the gain of the antenna. From the measurement results, proposed antenna obtained return loss of -20.27 dB and VSWR of 1.31 at the working frequency of 600 MHz. The bandwidth produced from proposed antenna is 273 MHz with a working frequency range of 461 MHz - 734 MHz. The gain generated from log periodic microstrip antenna with parasitic element is 16.67 dB at the working frequency of 600 MHz or increased 40.02 % compared with conventional log periodic that have been designed before. From the overall results obtained, it can be concluded that the proposed antenna can be used as receiver antenna for Digital TV applications in Indonesia. ABSTRAK Sistem monitoring adalah hal yang sangat penting dan harus dimiliki oleh setiap pemilik rumah. Sehingga diperlukan alat untuk dapat mengawasi rumah secara real-time. Perancangan sistem menggunakan Raspberry-Pi sebagai pusat komputasi dan menggunakan smartphone berbasis android untuk melakukan monitoring. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan beberapa fitur diantaranya pergerakan kamera secara horisontal dan vertikal menggunakan motor servo, sistem recording video yang dapat dikendalikan oleh user, serta sistem deteksi gerakan yang dapat menjadi alert untuk pengguna. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pengujian network dilihat dari parameter bandwidth dan jumlah client dalam suatu jaringan untuk mendapatkan suatu sistem monitoring yang real-time, reliable dan smart. Dalam hasil pengujian dengan maksimum 2 klien dalam 1 network, sistem dapat menangkap rata-rata 10.7 frames per second, serta memiliki respon pergerakan kamera < 1 second. Pengujian fitur perekaman dan motion detection juga berfungsi dengan baik, sehingga sistem monitoring ini menjadi sistem yang smart dan reliable. Kata kunci: Real-time, Rasberry-Pi, Smart Monitoring. ABSTRACT The monitoring system is very important and must be owned by every homeowner. Therefore, it needed some tools to be self-sufficient in real-time. The design of the system using Raspberry-Pi as a computing center and use an Android smartphone to perform monitoring. Equipped with a servo motor, a user-controlled video recording system, and a motion detection system that can generate alert to the user. Testing is done by doing network testing seen from the bandwidth parameters and number of clients in a network for a real-time, reliable and smart monitoring system. The need of electricity energy is inevitable. However, most of the power plants in Indonesia still use fossil energy. Unfortunately this can lead to environmental pollution such as air pollution. Thus, energy conservation and efficiency are very important to do. This is evident in presidential regulation no.22 of 2017 which states that conservation is the responsibility of all levels of society. By reducing the consumption of electrical energy, it can reduce the use of electric resources and reduce pollution. This research is a preliminary research that uses IoT energy monitoring tools to be able to monitor the use of Web-based household electrical energy and Android applications. The prototype was made using the Ardunio Uno R3 AT Mega and the PZEM-004T Voltage Current Sensor which is connected to the website and Android application. After the sensor reads the current and voltage, the consumption of electrical energy can be calculated using the formula listed in Government Regulation No.28 of 2016, then the calculation results are displayed in graphical form on the website and android application. The test is carried out by directly connecting the electronic equipment to be measured to an Arduino device which is equipped with an electrical contact. Kebutuhan masyarakat akan energi listrik menjadi suatu hal yang tak terelekan. Namun, sebagian besar pembangkit listrik di Indonesia masih menggunakan energi fosil. Sayangnya hal ini dapat memicu pencemaran lingkungan seperti polusi udara. Sehingga, konservasi dan efisiensi energi sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Terbukti pada pe raturan presiden no.22 tahun 2017 yang menyebutkan bahwa konservasi merupakan tanggungjawab seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Dengan berkurangnya konsumsi energi listrik, dapat menurunkan peggunaan sumber daya listrik dan mengurangi polusi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal yang menggunakan alat monitoring energi IoT untuk dapat memantau penggunaan energi listrik rumah tangga berbasis Web dan aplikasi Android. Protptipe dibuat dengan menggunakan Ardunio Uno R3 AT Mega dan Sensor Arus Tegangan PZEM-004T yang di hubungkan dengan website dan aplikasi Android. Setelah sensor membaca arus dan tegangan, konsumsi energi listrik dapat dihitung menggunakan rumus yang tercantum pada Peraturan Pemerintah No.28 Tahun 2016, kemudian hasil perhitungan ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik pada website dan aplikasi android. 10. PELATIHAN PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI VIRTUAL LEARNING DI TPA ZIYAADATUL HASANAH

Since the outbreak of the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) case in March 2020, the government issued a policy to conduct distance learning. Conditions that require learning activities to be carried out online caused the children to to use applications to carry out learning activities. One of the obstacles in implementing distance learning activities is the lack of technology mastery by parents and children. This causes children to have difficulty in learning the material provided by the school. In this activity, training was conducted to use virtual learning applications as learning media with the target of active parents and students in TPA Ziyaadatul Hasanah, Duren Sawit. With this training, it is hoped that parents and students can use virtual learning applications. So that parents can guide their sons and daughters in conducting distance learning activity and students are not left behind due to internet connection problems. From the results of the questionnaire given to participants to measure understanding of the training, participants gained increased knowledge about virtual learning applications as proofed by the increase in scores obtained from the pre-test and post-test results. In the pre-test the average score obtained by the participants was 8.3 while in the post-test the average score was 9.45 out of a scale of 10. In terms of satisfaction, the average score given by the participants was in the range of 4.1 to 4.75 and belongs to the very good range. Based on the results of discussions with participants, participants expected that there would be further activities related to their problems to be provided by the community service team.ABSTRAKSejak merebaknya kasus Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) pada bulan Maret 2020, pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan untuk melakukan pembelajaran secara jarak jauh (PJJ). Kondisi yang mengharuskan kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring menyebabkan anak-anak harus menggunakan aplikasi untuk melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PJJ adalah kurangnya penguasaan teknologi oleh orang tua dan anak. Hal tersebut menyebabkan anak-anak kesulitan dalam mempelajari materi yang diberikan. Pada kegiatan ini dilakukan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi virtual learning sebagai media pembelajaran dengan sasaran orang tua dan siswa yang aktif di TPA Ziyaadatul Hasanah, Duren Sawit. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan orang tua dan siswa dapat menggunakan aplikasi virtual learning. Sehingga orang tua dapat membimbing putra putrinya dalam PJJ dan siswa tidak tertinggal materi karena masalah koneksi internet. Dari hasil kuesioner yang diberikan kepada peserta untuk mengukur pemahaman terhadap pelatihan yang diberikan, peserta mendapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai aplikasi virtual learning yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai yang didapatkan dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Pada pre-test nilai rata-rata yang didapatkan peserta adalah 8.3 sedangkan pada post-test rata-rata nilainya adalah 9.45 dari skala 10. Sementara dari sisi kepuasan, rata-rata skor yang diberikan oleh peserta berada pada rentang 4.1 hingga 4.75 dan termasuk ke dalam rentang sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan peserta, warga mengharapkan adanya kegiatan lanjutan dari pelatihan virtual learning yang dilakukan pada periode PkM ini.

Pada penelitian ini telah dirancang dan direalisasikan RT/RW-Net sebagai sistem yang berfungsi untuk mengakses jaringan internet. Sistem dibangun dengan menggunakan Router Mikrotik sebagai sistem operasi, access point sebagai penyalur jaringan, dan antena omnidirectional yang berperan sebagai pemancar dan penerima sinyal Wi-Fi dari perangkat pelanggan. Fitur user manager pada mikrotik berperan dalam mengatur beberapa fungsi seperti limitasi bandwidth dan limitasi kuota. Kuota dan masa tenggang dapat dibuat sesuai permintaan pelanggan. Sistem RT/RW-Net ini diuji pada saat pelanggan terhubung dengan hotspot RT/RW-Net secara otomatis pada perangkat pelanggan akan muncul halaman website dengan memasukan username dan password yang telah diberi oleh administrator. Kemudian sistem diuji dengan mengukur nilai Receive Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) untuk menentukan kualitas sinyal berdasarkan standar yang berlaku. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, nilai RSSI terendah yaitu -65 dBm pada jarak 280m arah barat dengan catatan pada daerah tersebut tidak ada halangan dari antena omnidirectional ke perangkat pelanggan. Sistem ini juga dapat menginformasikan status sisa kuota dan masa aktif kepada pelanggan pada halaman awal website.

У роботі запропоновано мікросмужкову антену з L-слотом, оптимізовану за допомогою паразитних елементів. Додавання паразитних елементів спрямоване на розширення смуги пропускання запропонованої антени. Паразитні елементи додавалися з використанням двох типів підкладки FR-4, які були складені в стопку. Випромінювальний елемент розташовувався в нижньому шарі, а паразитний – у верхньому. Для отримання оптимальної пропускної здатності було запропоновано три моделі з різними формами паразитних елементів. Найкращі результати показала модель 1 з імпедансною смугою пропускання 1,3 ГГц (2,17-3,47 ГГц) або 52 %. Крім того, запропонована конструкція антени також створювала кругову поляризацію з осьовим співвідношенням ≤ 3 дБ і максимальним підсиленням 6,76 дБ. Запропонована конструкція антени може бути рекомендована і придатна для використання як приймальна антена в системі бездротового зв'язку. This study proposes a microstrip antenna with L slot that is optimized using parasitic patches. The addition of parasitic elements aims at enhancing the bandwidth of the proposed antenna. Parasitic elements were added using two types of FR-4 substrate, which were stacked. The radiating element was placed in the bottom layer, while the parasitic element was in the top. To produce optimal bandwidth, three models were proposed with different forms of parasitic elements. The best results were shown by model 1 with an impedance bandwidth of 1.3 GHz (2.17-3.47 GHz) or with impedance bandwidth of 52 %. In addition, the proposed antenna design also produced circular polarization with an axial ratio of ≤ 3 dB and a maximum gain of 6.76 dB. The proposed antenna design can be recommended and suitable for use as a receiving antenna in a wireless communication system.

Vehicular communications allowed the vehicles connected to traffic lights, road signs, or building infrastructures. Adaptive modulation enabled the system to maintain the quality level as the vehicles moved through different environments. In this paper, QPSK, 8PSK, and 16-QAM modulation schemes are utilized for low, medium, and high noise environments with the AWGN channel model. Reinforcement learning is implemented in the V2I scheme with an epsilon-greedy algorithm to decide which modulation scheme should be used based on the environment condition. The simulation showed promising results with most selected modulation scheme in low noise environment is 16-QAM, in medium noise is 8PSK, and in high noise is QPSK.

Miniaturization and size reduction of multiple feed-line microstrip antenna has been investigated and described in this paper. The dimension of proposed antenna reduced using 3 pair of slit while the resonant frequency of 1800 MHz. Based on simulation and optimization result using EM Simulation, the dimension of proposed antenna can reduced until 94.81% compared with conventional multiple feed line microstrip antenna. This result shows that peripheral slit technique succeeded in reducing the dimension of proposed antenna without change the working frequency of antenna.

This paper proposes the design of array microstrip antenna for microwave radio communication system applications at frequency of 10700 MHz. In order to increase the gain of the proposed antenna, a 4x4 element array method is proposed in this paper.. From the simulation results obtained return loss of -26.57 dB and VSWR of 1.098 at a frequency of 10700 MHz. The bandwidth obtained from the 4x4 element antenna array is 1559 MHz with frequency range of 9682 MHz - 11241 MHz. The gain of proposed antenna is 14.50 dB at a frequency of 10700 MHz. Optimization using the 4x4 element array method has succeeded in increasing the gain up to 35.3 % compared to the 4x2 element array method. The proposed antenna is suitable as a candidate for application in microwave radio communication systems.

Metamaterial is an artificial substance that has unique properties such as negative refractive index and negative permittivity that do not exist naturally in the universe. Metamaterial has been extensively used in antenna applications because of its numerous advantages. In antenna applications, the Split Ring Resonator (SRR) structure in the metamaterial antenna can improve antenna performance. In this paper, we use random forest regression which is part of machine learning algorithm to predict antenna parameters, such as gain, Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR), bandwidth, and return loss. Based on prediction result, number of estimator that resulted in lowest MAE for gain is 3 while for MSE is 2. For VSWR the lowest MAE and MSE is reached when the number of estimator is 8. For bandwidth, lowest MAE is achieved when the number of estimator is 1 while for MSE is 8. Return loss reaches the lowest MAE and MSE when the number of estimator is 24.

This paper proposes the design of a circular polarization microstrip antenna (CPMA) which is optimized using array 4×4 element for microwave radio applications. The bandwidth generated from the proposed antenna is 1559 MHz with a frequency range 9862 MHz – 11241 MHz. The simulation results from AWR Microwave Ofiice 2009 shows that the array CPMA has worked at a center frequency of 10700 MHz with a return loss of −26.57 dB, VSWR of 1.098 and axial ratio (AR) 2.031 dB. This shows that the proposed antenna produces a suitable bandwidth requirements for microwave radio communication systems.

Gain enhancement of circular polarization microstrip antenna using the 8x2 element array method is proposed in this paper. The proposed antenna is intended to work in the frequency range 10700 - 11700 MHz for microwave radio communication systems. To get the maximum gain, the proposed antenna is optimized using an array with 8x2 elements. From the simulation results using EM simulation software, the return loss is -24.62 dB, VSWR is 1.125, bandwidth is 1397 MHz at the frequency of 10950 MHz. Optimization with the 8x2 element array method has been successfully in increasing the gain of the antenna up to 50.09% compared to the 4x2 element array design. The proposed antenna can be a candidate to be used for a receiving antenna in a microwave radio communication system.

Wireless communication systems especially radio microwaves communication need a device that functions as a signal transmitter and receiver where the final device for these processes is an antenna. This paper proposes the design of a circular polarization microstrip antenna for microwave radio communication with range frequency of 10750–10950 MHz. Circular polarization with axial ratio ≤ 3 dB is obtained by using a truncated corner technique, whereas to increase bandwidth an array method with 4×2 elements is used. The type of substrate used is Arlon LX 217 with e r of 2.2, thickness (h) of 0.587 mm and loss tangent (tan a) 0.0009. From the simulation results of proposed antenna obtained bandwidth impedance with return loss ≤ −10 dB and VSWR ≤ 2 is 1449 MHz with a frequency range 10511–11960 MHz. Furthermore, the axial ratio of the proposed antenna is 1.468 dB while gain is 10.56 dB at working frequency of 10850 MHz. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the proposed antenna is suitable for microwave radio communication.

This paper proposes design of parasitic microstrip antenna with multiple feed line for mobile communication applications at working frequency of 1800 MHz. The purpose of adding multiple feed line is to enhanced the bandwidth of the proposed antenna. The multiple feed line used has an impedance of 100 Ohm and is placed on the edge of the patch parasitic microstrip antenna. The optimal bandwidth of the microstrip antenna is obtained by adjusting the dimensions and position of the multiple feed line. From the simulation results obtained return loss of −15.95 dB, VSWR of 1.379 at work of frequency 1800 MHz and bandwidth of 328 MHz with a frequency range 1735 – 2053 MHz or increased 262.13% compared to parasitic microstrip antenna. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the use of multiple feed line succeeded in increasing the performance and bandwidth of the microstrip antenna.

Penelitian ini mengusulkan desain dan prototipe antena mikrostrip log periodik yang dikembangkan dengan metode parasitik air gap (celah udara) untuk aplikasi TV digital pada rentang frekuensi 478-694 MHz. Penggunaan elemen parasitik dengan celah udara bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai gain pada antena. Dari hasil pengukuran diperoleh nilai return loss sebesar -20.27 dB dan VSWR sebesar 1.31 pada frekuensi kerja 600 MHz. Bandwidth yang dihasilkan dari antena yang telah dipabrikasi adalah 273 MHz dengan rentang frekuensi kerja 461 MHz – 734 MHz. Gain yang dihasilkan dari antena mikrostrip log periodik dengan elemen parasitik adalah 16.67 dB pada frekuensi kerja 600 MHz atau meningkat 40.02 % dibandingkan dengan log periodik konvensional yang telah didesain sebelumnya. Dari keseluruhan hasil yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa antena yang diusulkan dapat digunanakan sebagai antena penerima untuk aplikasi TV Digital di Indonesia. Kata kunci: antena, mikrostrip, log periodik, parasitik, celah udara ABSTRACT This study proposes the design and prototype of log periodic microstrip antenna which was developed using the parasitic air gap for digital TV applications with a frequency range of 478-694 MHz. The use of parasitic elements with air gap aims to increase the gain of the antenna. From the measurement results, proposed antenna obtained return loss of -20.27 dB and VSWR of 1.31 at the working frequency of 600 MHz. The bandwidth produced from proposed antenna is 273 MHz with a working frequency range of 461 MHz - 734 MHz. The gain generated from log periodic microstrip antenna with parasitic element is 16.67 dB at the working frequency of 600 MHz or increased 40.02 % compared with conventional log periodic that have been designed before. From the overall results obtained, it can be concluded that the proposed antenna can be used as receiver antenna for Digital TV applications in Indonesia. This paper proposes new design of square microstrip antenna with dual feed line for improving bandwidth and axial ratio at work frequency of 2400 MHz. To obtained circular polarization with axial ratio ≤ 3 dB and enhanced bandwidth of antenna, dual feed line is used to improve performance of conventional microstrip antenna. After the simulation process, dual feed line succeed to improved bandwidth of microstrip antenna 131.9 % compared with microstrip antenna with single feed and provide circular polarization with axial ratio 2.44 dB at working frequency of 2400 MHz. compared to the microstrip antenna with a single feed. This research is very usefull for Wi-Fi application in order to improve the level quality of receiver signal.

The availability of telecommunication infrastructure affects the development of an area, especially areas that have the potential for tourism and agricultural products such as Tenjolaya Village. The development of RT RW net as internet network infrastructure using Wi-Fi technology can be a supporting sector for the economic development of the village. Network deployment is carried out in three stages: preparation, construction and measurement. In the preparation stage, the number of users is calculated and a survey of the installation location is carried out. Furthermore, network development is carried out based on the network architecture that has been designed with CPE totaling four points. In the final stage, four parameters are measured to check the network conditions. The parameters are throughput, signal strength, CCQ, and SNR. From the measurement results, the measured throughput at the access point has a value range of 17 to 30 dBm. The measured Tx signal strength has a value of -75 to -39 dBm while the Rx signal strength is between -72 to -37 dBm. The CCQ value is between 76 and 100%. The measured SNR parameter has a value of 38 to 77 dBm.

This paper proposed new design of truncated microstrip antenna with U slot for LTE application at work frequency of 2300 MHz. The addition of slot with U shape aims to reduce return loss and VSWR from antenna, beside that giving U slot also can reduce the dimension of antenna to be more compact. The proposed antenna have been design. The proposed antenna, designed and realized using a FR4 Epoxy substrate with a dielectric constant (Ɛr) of 4.3, a thickness (h) of 1.6 mm and a loss tan (tan α) of 0.0265 . From the measurement result obtained return loss of -22.95 dB and VSWR of 1.1.5 at working frequency of 2300 MHz with bandwidth of 250 MHz (2100 -2350 MHz). The addition of U slot has been succesfully improved the value of return loss until 43 % and VSWR until 15 % compared with truncated microstrip antenna without U slot. Beside that, the dimension of microstrip antenna have been reduced until 17.87 % after using U slot.

This paper proposes a new design of a log periodic array microstrip antenna with parasitic air gap for Digital Video Broadcasting application with return loss value of ≤-10 dB and $\mathbf{VSWR} \leq 2$ at working frequency of 478 to 694 MHz. The proposed antenna consists of two layers of substrate where at the bottom layer is a log periodic microstrip antenna and at the top layer is a parasitic load separated by air gap. The bandwidth of the design antenna can be optimized by adjusting the distance of air gap between the top and bottom layers of the proposed antenna. From the simulation results can be obtained the distance gap (d) is 2 mm with the bandwidth of the antenna design is 339 MHz (421 MHz to 757 MHz). Using parasitic air gap the bandwidth of the proposed antenna can be increased until 31.49% compared to the conventional periodic log antennas.

Pada penelitian ini dirancang dan dipabrikasi antena mikrostrip dengan polarisasi melingkar yang dicatu secara electromagnetic coupling dengan pencatu proximity coupling untuk aplikasi Wireless Fidelity yang bekerja pada frekuensi 2,4 GHz. Untuk dapat menghasilkan polarisasi yang melingkar pada antena yang dirancang, maka dibuat tiga buah celah dan dengan tiga celah tersebut dapat menghasilkan patch antena berbentuk E. Saluran pencatu proximity coupling digunakan dengan tujuan untuk memperlebar bandwidth dari antena. Pada penelitian ini digunakan dua buah substrat, yaitu patch antena berbentuk E diletakkan di substrat bagian atas sedangkan saluran pencatu proximity coupling berada pada substrat bagian bawah. Adapun jenis substrat yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah FR4 Epoxy dengan nilai konstanta dielektrik relatip (r) = 4,4 dan ketebalan (h) = 1,6 mm. Dengan mengatur lebar dan panjang dari celah patch berbentuk E, maka dihasilkan polarisasi melingkar dengan hasil simulasi axial rasio 2,58 dB, nilai return loss -19,98 dB, VSWR 1,223 dan bandwidth 151,3 MHz. Sedangkan hasil pengukuran yang dilakukan menghasilkan nilai return loss sebesar -22,12 dB, VSWR 1,16 dengan bandwidth 153,2 MHz. Hasil pengukuran polaradiasi menghasilkan nilai Half Power Beamwidth sebesar 58o.

In this research, we produced a new design of microstrip antenna with truncated corner technique modified with slot in the middle patch of microstrip antenna to produce circular polarization for Long Term Evolution application. The value of return loss, VSWR and axial ratio of the antenna can enhanced by adjusting the length of the slot provided in the middle patch of microstrip antenna. Antenna designed using FR4 substrate with value (eή = 4.3, substrate thickness (h) of 1.6 mm and loss tangent (tan δ) of 0.0265. From the simulation results obtained return loss −45.45 dB, VSWR 1.014 and axial ratio 2.014 dB at a working frequency of 2300 MHz. The gain of the designed antenna is 6.93 dB. Slot method increased the axial ratio of the antenna until 26.17 % and array method increased gain until 26 %.

This paper proposes a new design of stacked rectangular ring slot microstrip antenna using parasitic load with slits and fed by coplanar waveguide. The measurement results shown return loss of −14,94 dB with VSWR 1,44 at frequency 2100 MHz for UMTS, at frequency 2300 MHz for LTE produce return loss −21,21 dB with VSWR 1,19 and return loss of −21,81 dB with VSWR 1,18 at frequency 2400 MHz for WiFi application.

This paper proposes a new design of compact fractal patch microstrip antenna fed by coplanar waveguide to reduce the antenna dimension and to increase its bandwidth for Long Term Evolution application purposes. The results shown return loss of −23.45 dB and VSWR 1.144 can be achieved by controlling the height and the width of the fractal patch dimension. Bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 375 MHz which is equal to an increase of 200% compared to the conventional rectangular patch antenna and also the dimension of fractal patch antenna can be reduced until 66%.

In this research, a 3 dB hybrid coupler has been developed for altimeter radio with operating frequency at 4,3 GHz using exponential tapered transmission line on its series arms, hence impedance characteristics become non-linear. Sistem monitoring adalah hal yang sangat penting dan harus dimiliki oleh setiap pemilik rumah. Sehingga diperlukan alat untuk dapat mengawasi rumah secara real-time. Perancangan sistem menggunakan Raspberry-Pi sebagai pusat komputasi dan menggunakan smartphone berbasis android untuk melakukan monitoring. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan beberapa fitur diantaranya pergerakan kamera secara horisontal dan vertikal menggunakan motor servo, sistem recording video yang dapat dikendalikan oleh user, serta sistem deteksi gerakan yang dapat menjadi alert untuk pengguna. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pengujian network dilihat dari parameter bandwidth dan jumlah client dalam suatu jaringan untuk mendapatkan suatu sistem monitoring yang real-time, reliable dan smart. Dalam hasil pengujian dengan maksimum 2 klien dalam 1 network, sistem dapat menangkap rata-rata 10.7 frames per second, serta memiliki respon pergerakan kamera < 1 second. Pengujian fitur perekaman dan motion detection juga berfungsi dengan baik, sehingga sistem monitoring ini menjadi sistem yang smart dan reliable. Kata kunci: Real-time, Rasberry-Pi, Smart Monitoring. ABSTRACT The monitoring system is very important and must be owned by every homeowner. Therefore, it needed some tools to be self-sufficient in real-time. The design of the system using Raspberry-Pi as a computing center and use an Android smartphone to perform monitoring. Equipped with a servo motor, a user-controlled video recording system, and a motion detection system that can generate alert to the user. Testing is done by doing network testing seen from the bandwidth parameters and number of clients in a network for a real-time, reliable and smart monitoring system. Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) is a wireless telecommunications technology developed by IEEE 802.11. Wi-Fi has a goal so that users can access the Internet anywhere. According to the IEEE standard for Wi-Fi, the network works at 2.4 GHz –2.484 GHz. This paper describes design and implementation of microstrip antenna on the wireless LAN card. All components of the antenna are placed on FR4 (e r =4.3) substrate with the overall dimension of 57 mm × 29.5 mm × 1.66 mm. The obtained results show that the proposed rectangular microstrip antenna achieves a good performed at outdoor and can be used as a client antenna with compact size. Also, a comparative study against a commercial antenna is described, and the proposed antenna shows better result than commercial antenna.

This paper proposed a new design of log periodic microstrip antenna using peripheral slits for dgital video broadcasting applications in DKI Jakarta. Applying peripheral slits can be reduced the dimension of antenna up to 62.6% with its dimension 400 mm x 150 mm using 4 patches in different frequencies. The patches are one another connected using log periodic technique. The measurement results showed that the antenna was operating at frequency ranges of 450 MHz to800 MHz with impedance bandwidth of 350 MHz, VSWR ≤ 2 and return loss ≤ -10dB. The proposed antenna could receive 11 DVB stations with high definition quality pictureand only channel number 24, such as RCTI, Global TV and MNC TV can not reveive signals as expected.

A novel design for ultra wideband microstrip antenna using T-shape stub fed by coplanar waveguide is proposed and experimentally studied. The multiband frequencies can be reached by controlling the length of a and b of the T shaped stub. The results shown that the proposed antenna can be achieved multiband frequencies with return loss -21.5 dB at frequency 2.65GHz, return loss -24.5dB at frequency 5GHz, and return loss -35dB at frequency 8.42GHz. This paper presents a novel wideband nonuniform branch line coupler. An exponential impedance taper is inserted, at the series arms of the branch line coupler, to enhance the bandwidth. The behavior of the nonuniform coupler was mathematically analyzed, and its design of scattering matrix was derived. For a return loss better than 10 dB, it achieved 61.1% bandwidth centered at 9 GHz. Measured coupling magnitudes and phase exhibit good dispersive characteristic. For the 1 dB magnitude difference and phase error within 3 ∘ , it achieved 22.2% bandwidth centered at 9 GHz. Furthermore, the novel branch line coupler was implemented for a wideband crossover. Crossover was constructed by cascading two wideband nonuniform branch line couplers. These components were employed to design a wideband Butler Matrix working at 9.4 GHz. The measurement results show that the reflection coefficient between the output ports is better than 18 dB across 8.0 GHz–9.6 GHz, and the overall phase error is less than 7 ∘ .

Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals. Due to the LTE standard covers a range of many different bands in each country, therefore an antenna with more than one frequency bands become one of the most important needs in LTE antenna. In this paper, a novel triangular dual band MIMO (2x2) antenna with coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed is proposed to be used for LTE application. The proposed MIMO antenna is able to work in dual frequency that will be implemented in Indonesia at 1.8GHz and 2.35GHz. To obtain the optimum design, the characteristic of proposed antenna are numerically investigated through the physical parameters of antenna. The results show that proposed antenna has a compact size and a bandwidth of 100 MHz which is suitable for LTE application
