Abstract

Neutral lipids (NL) were eluted by CHCl SB 3 sb ; glycolipids (GL), Me SB 2 sb CO; phospholipids (PL), MeOH. A feature of the FA profile in the CHCl SB 3 sb extract from the aerial part of I A. villosissimus i was the presence of NL and GL of high-molecular-mass (mainly saturated) acids of chain length 20-26 C atoms. Thus, the CHCl SB 3 sb extract from the aerial phytomass of the endemic species I A. villosissimus i contained 1.5% total lipids consisting primarily of NL and GL (total 87.16%). Abstract

Suaeda paradoxa Bunge. is a halophytic plant of the family Amaranthaceae, which is an endemic species of Central Asia, growing in Uzbekistan on saline lands. Biomass of S. paradoxa is recommended as a promising renewable raw material for biogas productionin the desert saline regions of Central Asia. For the first time, we have studied the lipids of seeds (I) and pericarp (II) of S. paradoxa fruits that was collected on highly saline soil of the dried bottom of the Aral Sea (2022). By using wellknown methods of lipids chemistry, it was determined that samples I andII contain 18.12 and 12.27% neutral lipids (NL), 0.47 and 0.78% glycolipids (GL), 0.77 and 0.89% phospholipids (PL). In the composition of the NL of two samples, the content of unsaponifiable substances was 5.41% (I) and 8.36% (II), carotenoids in the unsaponifiable components, according to spectrophotometers date, 105.38 mg% (I) and 244.13 mg%. Hydrocarbons, fatty acid esters (FA) with phytosterols and triterpenols, triacylglycerides, free triterpenols, and phytosterols were identified in NL I and II by TLC on silica gel using known solvent systems, qualitative reactions, and model substances. GL included monoand digalactosyldiacylglycerols, steryl glycosides and their esters with fatty acids; PL included phosphatidylcholines, phosphatidylethanolamines, phosphatidylinositols, and phosphatidic acid. The lipid FA composition of two samples was determined by GC on an Agilent instrument 6890N, FID, 30 m x 0.32 mm capillary column, HP-5 phase, helium carrier gas, programming temperature 150-270°C. In the LL, 19 (sample I) and 14 (sample II) FAs with dominance ω6-18:2 and 16:0 were found; GL I and II included 24 and 16 FAs, respectively, with basic 16:0 and ω9-18:1; in FL I and II there were 23 and 16 LCDs, where the majors were 16:0, as well as 16:0 and ω6-18:2. Thus, the fruit pericarp of S. paradoxa contains a significant amount of neutral lipids and is enriched in polar lipids and carotenoids. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

45. Lipids of Phlomis linearifoliaand Its Growth-Stimulating Activity

Abstract

The chemical composition of CHCl3extract of Phlomis linearifoliawas investigated and it was determined that the main part of the extract is lipids. The experiments showed that chloroform extract of Ph. linearifoliaconsists of neutral lipids containing 14 fatty acids, glycolipids—13 fatty acids and phospholipids—12 fatty acids. Fatty acids 16:0 (52.46%) and the sum of 18:1 + 18:3 (16.32%) are dominated in neutral acid fraction. Fatty acids of glycolipid and phospholipid fractions are enriched with acids 16:0 (65.23 and 56.41%, respectively) and 18:0 (13.82 and 13.85%). The content of ω-6 linoleic acid is very low and forms less than 1% in neutral acid and glycolipid fractions and in phospholipid—10.37%. CHCl3extract of Ph. linearifoliawas studied on growth-stimulating activity on cultures of wheat and cotton in vitro. It was revealed that the extract of Ph. linearifoliahas most activity to wheat. Length of the roots and shoots of wheat treated with 0.001% and 0.0001% extract exceeds the control values on 45% and 40.0% (for roots), and on 20.6% and 26.2% (for shoots), respectively.

Abstract

The article examines the fatty acid constituent of Silene's trichloromethane (CHCl3) extracts and their antibacterial activity in Central Asia. It notes that the isolated neutral lipids (NL) of the extracts include free fatty acids, triglycerides, and free sterols. It finds out that its qualitative fatty acid composition from the aerial parts of the plant's species has 15 acids. Meanwhile, the antibacterial activity of the extracts is exhibited against different bacteria species.
