Recently, it has become important to find a way to combine modern information technology with the traditional fishery industry. For this, understanding the current situation of the smart fishery is important to promote its development. Promoting the transformation and upgrading of the traditional fishery industry can speed up the process of fishery modernization. Applying modern science and technology to the whole process of the fishery leads to the development of the fishery industry. Therefore, we tried to create a related knowledge map to present the status and important topics of China's smart fishery using the CNKI database from 2000 to 2022. CiteSpace software was used for the literature analysis, and Excel was used for statistical analysis and chart drawing of relevant data. The result shows the following. (1) Smart fishery is a new research field, and the number of related publications is on the rise. However, the total amount of literature is relatively small, and more research is needed. (2) Only a limited number of research groups and researchers have close cooperation, and most of them have little communication with each other. The map shows that "part of the network is concentrated, the whole point is scattered". (3) Major research topics are mainly focused on "aquaculture", "the Internet of Things", "marine fishery", "satellite remote sensing", "Internet" and "fishery production". (4) Future research topics and trends are likely to be in "modern fisheries", "big data", "aquatic products", "aquaculture", "marine ranching" and "recreational fisheries". Such a result provides a reference for decision-making and promoting the sustainable development of smart fisheries.

The impedance parameters of a two-port network are employed to deduce the differential and common-mode as well as single-ended input impedances of a differential antenna. The relationships between these impedances are considered. It is shown that there exist simple quantitative relations, which may be used to determine one impedance from the other whose solution is already known. In addition, an important attempt is made to extend Booker's relation for differential complementary dipoles and slots to single-ended counterparts.

This paper presents the coupled shorted patch antennas (CSPAs), which exhibits dual-band operation of both broadside and conical radiation patterns and successfully overcome the major disadvantage of the large H-plane cross-polarization radiation of conventional shorted patch antennas. The basic concept behind this breakthrough innovation is to create and explore the coupled TM0,1/2 modes. It will be shown that the coupled shorted patch antennas provide the horizontally polarized broadside radiation under the odd coupled TM0,1/2 mode for the low band and vertically polarized conical radiation patterns under the even coupled TM0,1/2 mode for the high band, respectively. The coupled shorted patch antennas have smaller resonant sizes as compared with those of the conventional shorted patch antennas for broadside radiation. The sum of the two resonant frequencies for the coupled shorted patch antennas is twice of that for the corresponding conventional shorted patch antennas based on a single microstrip. The ratio of two resonant frequencies depends on the odd and even mode impedances of the coupled microstrips. Calculated results are validated with simulated and measured ones.

This article presents a finite difference time domain (FDTD) analysis of a probe-based millimeter-wave (mm-wave) far-field antenna measurement setup. First, it is found that a full-wave simulation of the entire setup requires formidable computational resources, and thus a reasonable simplification of the setup model is made. Then, an electric dipole antenna operating at 28 GHz is placed in the setup, and the reflected/scattered/refracted/absorbed/diffracted/obstructed field distribution and distortion on radiation patterns by equipment are simulated. Finally, a quiet zone assessment is conducted.

A novel fan-out wafer-level packaging (FOWLP) technology with double-sided redistribution layers (RDLs) and tall copper vertical interconnects is described. The design of a dual-polarized magnetoelectric (ME) dipole antenna based on this new packaging technology is presented. It is shown that the antenna with a size of $10\times10$ mm2 achieves good impedance matching and a stable radiation pattern over a wide bandwidth from 25 to 43 GHz, which can cover most of the millimeter-wave (mmWave) bands of the fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks in different countries. The measurement results demonstrate that the antenna is well suited for FOWLP technology and can be used for phased-array modules in 5G wireless communication systems.

We compared chromosomal mosaicism, detected by next-generation sequencing (NGS), during preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) with that detected by single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) array-based PGT to assess the pregnancy outcomes associated with both platforms in a retrospective cohort study of patients undergoing in vitro fertilization in a single university-based assisted reproduction center. In total, 6427 blastocysts biopsied from 1513 patients who underwent 2833 oocyte retrievals from January 2017 to February 2019 were identified. The incidence of mosaicism was significantly higher in the NGS-based PGT group than in the SNP array-based PGT group. Furthermore, some aneuploid specimens were affected by mosaicism. The total mosaicism detection rate with NGS-based PGT (23.3%) was significantly higher than that with SNP array-based PGT (7.7%). Mosaicism rates were similar when stratified by maternal age or PGT type. The SNP array cohort showed a significantly higher spontaneous abortion rate than the NGS cohort (10.07% versus 6.33%; P = 0.0403). The ongoing pregnancy/live birth rate was higher in the NGS cohort (44.1%) than in the SNP array cohort (42.28%). Our results confirm that NGS-based PGT can detect mosaicism more frequently than SNP array-based PGT in trophectoderm specimens. Therefore, clinical application of NGS for PGT may improve pregnancy outcomes compared with that of SNP array-based PGT. More detailed blastocyst detection and classification is necessary to prioritize embryo transfers.

A new method to miniaturize patch antennas is presented by using coupled microstrip patches. A design example is given at 8.45 GHz. The resultant patch antenna has an electrical size of 0.146 × 0.146 × 0.04 λ 03, which is about 60% area reduction with respect to a conventional patch antenna. The miniaturized patch antenna shows similar broadside radiation patterns and a lower cross-polarization level as compared with the conventional one. It exhibits a realized gain of 5.4 dBi with the half-power beamwidths of 107° in the E-plane and 87° in the H-plane, respectively. Both simulated and measured results demonstrate that the miniaturized patch antenna exhibits excellent impedance and radiation characteristics and is a promising candidate for highly integrated wireless systems.

In recent years, there has been great interest in millimeter-wave (mmwave) and terahertz (THz) technologies due to an increasing demand for ultrahigh data transfer rate. Two novel solutions, i.e., antenna on chip (AoC) and antenna in package (AiP), have been proposed for the development of highly integrated radio and radar systems [1]-[5]. To measure the antenna characteristics of AoC and AiP, a reliable probe-based mm-wave/THz antenna measurement setup became essential. Over the last 20 years, the world has witnessed the prosperous development of various mmwave/THz antenna measurement setups, most of which can be divided into two types, i.e., probe-station and quasi-in-air based. The former type has a feature that allows the testing equipment to be compactly established on a large metal stage, which has been widely used for near-field based and as part of the farfield-based setups [6]-[10]. The antenna under test (AUT) is maintained on a wafer chuck placed on the stage and thus, only the radiation pattern in the upper half-space is measurable due to the metal stage obstruction. The latter type reduces the defect by using an extended supporting structure to hold the AUT in midair away from the stage so that the radiation patterns in both the upper and lower half-spaces are measurable. Many setups of this type measure antennas at far-field distances, and some of them are also compatible with near-field testing. Compared to probe-station based, quasi-inair based takes up much more space and is less compact.

Maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) is an autosomal recessive inherited disorder that affects the degradation of branched-chain amino acids and is associated with acute and chronic brain dysfunction. This study presents 11 new patients with MSUD and describes the clinical characteristics and gene mutations reported in Chinese individuals. During 2011–2018, 11 pedaitric patients with MSUD from 11 Chinese families were analyzed based on clinical characteristics and mass spectrometry, with confirmation via gene sequencing. Novel mutations affecting protein function were predicted with Mutation-Taster, PolyPhen-2, CADD and SIFT software. 3D models of the mutated proteins were generated by using the SWISS-MODEL online server, and the models were visualized in PyMOL. The characteristics and gene mutations in patients with MSUD were analyzed retrospectively. Seventeen mutations in the BCKDHA, BCKDHB and DBT genes were found, 8 of which are novel: c.55C>/T, c.349C>T, c.565C>T, c.808G>A, c.859C>G, and c.1270dupC in BCKDHA; c.275-2A>G in BCKDHB; and c.1291C>T in DBT. Eight patients died. Two patients had severe mental retardation and were physically handicapped. One patient with the intermediate type had relatively good prognosis, with mild psychomotor retardation and adiposity. Four mothers underwent amniocentesis for prenatal diagnosis during their second pregnancy; two fetuses were wild type, and two were carriers of one heterozygous mutation. Eight novel mutations were associated with MSUD in Chinese patients. Prenatal diagnosis was successfully performed by genetic analysis. Mutations in the BCKDHB gene were found in the majority of Chinese patients with MSUD.

KDM5C is a histone H3K4-specific demethylase, which has been shown to play a key role in biological disease and development. However, the role of KDM5C in trophoblasts at early pregnancy is currently unknown. Here, we showed that KDM5C was upregulated in placental trophoblasts from recurrent miscarriage (RM) patients compared with healthy controls (HCs). Trophoblast proliferation and invasion was inhibited by KDM5C overexpression and was promoted by KDM5C knockdown. Transcriptome sequencing revealed that elevated KDM5C exerted anti-proliferation and anti-invasion effects by repressing the expression of essential regulatory genes. The combination analysis of RNA-seq, ChIP-seq and CUT&Tag assay showed that KDM5C overexpression leads to the reduction of H3K4me3 on the promoters and the corresponding downregulation of expression of several regulatory genes in trophoblasts. Among these genes, TGFβ2 and RAGE are essential for the proliferation and invasion of trophoblasts. Importantly, overexpression of KDM5C by a systemically delivered KDM5C adenovirus vector (Ad-KDM5C) promoted embryo resorption rate in mouse. Our results support that KDM5C is an important regulator of the trophoblast function during early pregnancy, and suggesting that KDM5C activity could be responsible for epigenetic alterations seen RM disease.

A novel liquid crystal beam-steerable antenna is presented. It is a conventional liquid crystal microstrip patch antenna with a bending slot in the middle of the H-plane. Owing to the introduction of the bending slot, this antenna can work at even mode and odd mode within a frequency band. To obtain the resonant frequencies and radiation characteristics of the two modes, the method of characteristic mode analysis is utilised. It indicates that the resonant frequency of even mode is lower than that of odd mode. Therefore, by choosing liquid crystal as its substrate, this antenna can alter its operating modes by varying the permittivity of liquid crystal. Furthermore, beam steering can be realised since the radiation patterns of the two modes are divergent. An antenna prototype at Ka-band has been designed, fabricated and measured. The measured results show that the maximum radiation direction can scan from −30° to −2° continuously at 26.5 GHz in the H-plane. Oxidative stress and aberrant insulin signaling transduction play vital roles in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Our previous research has demonstrated that trilobatin (TLB), derived from the leaves of Lithocarpus Polystachyus (Wall.), exhibits a potent antioxidative profile. In the current study, we investigated the anti-T2DM effect of TLB on KK-Ay diabetic mice and further explored the potential mechanisms. Our results showed that TLB significantly reduced the high fasting blood glucose level and insulin resistance and promoted the tolerances to exogenous glucose and insulin in KK-Ay mice. Moreover, TLB reduced the content of reactive oxygen species; enhanced antioxidant enzymes activities, including serum catalase, glutathione peroxidase, and superoxide dismutase; and regulated the abnormal parameters of lipid metabolism, including triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, and free fatty acid, as evidenced by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Additionally, TLB markedly ameliorated the pancreatic islet morphology near normal and increased the insulin expression of the islet. Whereafter, TLB promoted Nrf2 that was translocated from cytoplasm to nucleus. Moreover, it increased the protein expressions of HO-1, NQO-1, and GLUT-2, and phosphorylation levels of Akt and GSK-3βSer 9 and decreased the protein expressions of keap1 and phosphorylation levels of IRS-1Ser 307 and GSK-3βTyr 216. Taken together, our findings reveal that TLB exhibits an anti-T2DM effect in KK-Ay mice by activating the Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway and regulating insulin signaling transduction pathway, and TLB is promising to be developed into a novel candidate for the treatment of T2DM in clinic due to its favorable druggability.

The twenty peer-reviewed letters in this special section examine the design and cointegration of antenna-in-package (AiP), antenna-on-chip (AoC), and antenna ICs (AIC). The letters are categorized in the four distinctive categories: 1) Fabrication technologies (four); 2) Measurement strategies; 3) Applications; and 4) New design and integration strategies. Fruition of major thrusts such as 5G/6G, high-resolution radar and imaging, autonomous driving, and space technology are highly intertwined with the advance of applied electromagnetics. Miniaturization and seamless integration of microwave components and radio systems can enable superior performance, form factor, and cost efficiencies leading to enhanced proliferation of such applications. Historically, radio frequency front ends, antennas, and microwave components have separately evolved using distinct fabrication and measurement technologies.

The design of a novel differential shorted patch antenna (DSPA) from a normal single-ended shorted patch antenna (SPA) is presented. It is shown that the DSPA has a smaller electrical size than the SPA. A transmission-line model is proposed to explain the reduced resonant size of the DSPA. A size reduction ratio of the DSPA to the SPA is defined and evaluated. It is found that the size reduction ratio mainly depends on the substrate thickness and the patch shape and slightly on the substrate dielectric constant. The simulated and measured results are given for both DSPA and SPA. The size reduction of the DSPA with respect to the SPA was experimentally validated.

A ntenna-in-package (AiP) technology integrates an antenna or antennas with a radio or radar transceiver die (or dies) into a standard surface-mount package. AiP technology balances performance, size, and cost well. Thus, it has been widely adopted by chipmakers for radios and radars. Many papers and patents are devoted to AiP technology. However, little is known about the history of this important antenna and packaging technology. This article aims to fill this void with a general description of early efforts that drove the development of AiP technology as we know it today.

Between 2019 and 2020, the author Gao pursued advanced endoscopic training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in the USA. She experienced certain different ideas between the East (China) and the West (USA) in terms of endoscopic approach to the submucosal tumors (SMTs) or lesions in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. In the West (USA), when SMTs are found on gastroscopy, the main goal of endoscopists is to obtain a tissue diagnosis through endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration or biopsy (EUS-FNA or FNB) or single incision needle-knife biopsy (SINK); if immunohistochemical tests confirmed the GISTs, the first-line treatment is local surgery, that is, diagnosis before treatment, whereas in China, SMTs will be completely resected with endoscopic technology for those with no lymph node metastasis or extremely low risk of lymph node metastasis. There may not be pathological tissue at first, that is, treatment before diagnosis.

A differential stacked reduced surface-wave microstrip antenna is proposed. A design principle is summarized to ensure the antenna that can reduce surface-wave excitation at least for the thin substrate. Based on the proposed principle, the differential stacked reduced surface-wave microstrip antenna is designed and fabricated. Measured results show that the lateral radiation level of the E-plane radiation pattern of the differential stacked reduced surface-wave microstrip antenna can be decreased to −40 dB.

The surface-wave fields of the reduced surface-wave microstrip patch antenna based on the integral equation of fields method are calculated. The surface-wave loss is compared with that of conventional circular patch antenna. Comparison result shows that, if the substrate is thin electrically, the surface-wave loss of the reduced surface-wave microstrip patch antenna is negligible.

To investigate the prognostic factors for clinically significant increase in post-prostatectomy Gleason score (pGS) in patients with biopsy Gleason score (bGS) ≤7.This retrospective study included 170 cases of prostate cancer treated by radical prostatectomy in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2017. We analyzed the clinical and pathological data on the patients, including the age, preoperative serum tPSA, fPSA, fPSA / tPSA, prostate volume, PSA density (PSAD), and positive puncture rate of the patients with clinically significant elevation of pGS, as well as the possible factors for clinically significant pGS increase in patients with bGS = 7 and those with bGS ≤ 6.The pGS was found consistent with the bGS in 95 (55.9%) of the 170 patients, decreased in 11 (6.5%) and increased in 64 (37.6%). Among those with elevated pGS, 55 (32.4%) were shown with and the other 9 (5.3%) without clinical significance. Clinically significant escalation of pGS was markedly correlated with the positive puncture rate in the patients with bGS = 7 (P = 0.021) and with the age (P = 0.018) and PSAD (P = 0.033) of those with bGS ≤ 6. ROC curve analysis further showed the positive puncture rate0.528 in the patients with bGS = 7 and a higher risk of clinically significant pGS increase in those aged64.5 years with bGS ≤ 6 and PSAD0.267 μg/(L·g).Clinically significant elevation of pGS is correlated with the rate of positive punctures in prostate cancer patients with bGS = 7 and with age and PSAD in those with bGS ≤ 6.
