Successful recognition is generally thought to be based on both recollection and familiarity of studied information. Recent studies found that making judgments of learning (JOLs) can reactively facilitate recognition performance, a form of reactivity effect on memory. The current study aimed to explore the roles of recollection and familiarity in the "reactivity effect" on recognition performance. Experiment 1 replicated the positive reactivity effect on recognition performance. Experiment 2 used the sequential remember/know (R/K) procedure, Experiment 3 utilized the simultaneous R/K procedure, and Experiment 4 inserted a long study-test interval (i.e., 24-h) to determine the roles of recollection and familiarity in the reactivity effect. These three experiments converged in demonstrating that making JOLs reactively facilitated recognition performance through enhancing both recollection and familiarity. Furthermore, there was minimal difference between the reactive influences on recollection and familiarity. The documented findings imply that the JOL reactivity effect on recognition is supported by two underlying mechanisms: greater recollection induced by enhanced distinctiveness, and superior familiarity induced by enhanced learning engagement.

Employment of appropriate study strategies is crucial for academic success. Previous findings on whether use of specific strategies is related to academic performance in real educational settings were inconsistent, and their participant samples were largely restricted to undergraduate students. The current study recruited a large sample (i.e., 4,331 participants) of elementary school students to explore the association between use of specific strategies and academic performance by using multilevel linear regression models, in which two potential confounding variables (i.e., SES and gender) are controlled for. The results showed that after controlling for SES, gender and other study strategies, use of spaced study, rereading and help-seeking positively related to academic performance in elementary school students. However, use of self-testing, highlighting/underlining, note-taking, summarizing, making diagrams, making study plans and studying with friends did not positively correlate with academic performance in elementary school children. Instructors and parents are suggested to encourage children to study by using the effective study strategies, and teach them how to maximize the benefits of these strategies.

This paper addresses the perceptions and mechanisms of doctoral student job decisions regarding the pursuit of careers in the government sector in China. Through the lens of social cognitive career theory (SCCT), we analysed 30 semi-structured interviews that had been conducted with doctoral students from two prestigious Chinese universities who wish to work as civil servants. This study describes doctoral students' understanding of careers in government employment from the perspectives of work content, promotion channels and professional norms. The mechanisms influencing student career choices include personal goals, self-efficacy, outcome expectations and environment. The clear goal of political ambition and work--life balance directly drives doctoral students to choose government institutions for employment. The diploma signal of doctoral degree itself and academic training give doctoral students a high sense of self-efficacy, which is necessary for their choice of employment in the government. Occupational safety, occupational benefits and occupational value constitute the expectations of positive outcomes providing doctoral students with good feedback. In the current environment, the labour market situation and the impetus of universities combine to form a push force and the preferential recruitment policies of the state form a pull force, which jointly promote doctoral students to make decisions to work in government sector. In this paper, the fact that the Chinese government introduced the 'special selected graduates' scheme for doctoral students from prestigious universities in hope of recruiting intellectual elites to improve the quality of civil servants and the modernization level of social governance. Universities encourage PhD graduates to enter the government, hoping that this would enhance their social influence and reputation, thereby safeguarding their status as prestigious universities. From an institutional perspective, the process of doctoral students becoming civil servants can be said to be a form of cooperation between the government and universities.

Abstract The role of mast cells (MCs) in ulcerative colitis (UC) development is controversial. FcεRI, the IgE high-affinity receptor, is known to activate MCs. However, its role in UC remains unclear. In our study, Anti-FcεRI showed highly diagnostic value for UC. FcεRIα knockout in mice ameliorated DSS-induced colitis in a gut microbiota-dependent manner. Increased Lactobacillus abundance in FcεRIα deficient mice showed strongly correlation with the remission of colitis. RNA sequencing indicated activation of the NLRP6 inflammasome pathway in FcεRIα knockout mice. Additionally, Lactobacillus plantarum supplementation protected against inflammatory injury and goblet cell loss, with activation of the NLRP6 inflammasome during colitis. Notably, this effect was absent when the strain is unable to produce lactic acid. In summary, colitis was mitigated in FcεRIα deficient mice, which may be attributed to the increased abundance of Lactobacillus. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between allergic reactions, microbiota, and colitis.

Abstract Recruitment of non-canonical BCOR-PRC1.1 to non-methylated CpG islands via KDM2B plays a fundamental role in transcription control during developmental processes and cancer progression. However, the mechanism is still largely unknown on how this recruitment is regulated. Here, we unveiled the importance of the Poly-D/E regions within the linker of BCOR for its binding to KDM2B. Interestingly, we also demonstrated that these negatively charged Poly-D/E regions on BCOR play autoinhibitory roles in liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) of BCORANK-linker-PUFD/PCGF1RAWUL. Through neutralizing negative charges of these Poly-D/E regions, Ca2+ not only weakens the interaction between BCOR/PCGF1 and KDM2B, but also promotes co-condensation of the enzymatic core of BCOR-PRC1.1 with KDM2B into liquid-like droplet. Accordingly, we propose that Ca2+ could modulate the compartmentation and recruitment of the enzymatic core of BCOR-PRC1.1 on KDM2B target loci. Thus, our finding advances the mechanistic understanding on how the tethering of BCOR-PRC1.1 enzymatic core to KDM2B is regulated.

Abstract The global epidemic of Mpox virus (MPXV) continues, and a local outbreak has occurred in Shenzhen city since June 2023. Herein, the evolutionary trajectory and characteristics of MPXV in 2023 were analyzed using 92 MPXV sequences from the Shenzhen outbreak and the available genomes from GISAID and GenBank databases. Phylogenetic tracing of the 92 MPXVs suggests that MPXVs in Shenzhen may have multiple sources of importation, and two main transmission chains have been established. The combination of phylogenetic relationships, epidemiological features, and mutation characteristics supports the emergence of a new lineage C.1.1. Together with the B.1 lineage diverging from the A.1 lineage, C.1.1 lineage diverging from the C.1 lineage may serve as another significant evolutionary events of MPXV. Moreover, increasing apolipoprotein B mRNA-editing catalytic polypeptide-like 3 (APOBEC3) related mutations, higher rate of missense mutations, and less mutations in the non-coding regions have been shown during MPXV evolution. Host regulation proteins of MPXV have accumulated considerable amino acid mutations since the B.1 lineage, and a lineage-defining APOBEC3-related mutation that disrupts the N2L gene encoding a viral innate immune modulator has been identified in the C.1.1 lineage. In summary, our study provides compelling evidence for the ongoing evolution of MPXV with specific features.

Abstract Background The triglyceride glucose (TyG) index, as a reliable marker of insulin resistance, is associated with the incidence and poor prognosis of various cardiovascular diseases. However, the relationship between the TyG index and clinical outcomes in patients with severe aortic stenosis (AS) who underwent transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) remains unclear. Methods This study consecutively enrolled 1569 patients with AS underwent TAVR at West China Hospital of Sichuan University between April 2014 and August 2023. The outcomes of interest included all-cause mortality, cardiovascular mortality, and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). Multivariate adjusted Cox regression and restricted cubic splines (RCS) regression analyses were used to assess the associations between the TyG index and the clinical outcomes. The incremental prognostic value of the TyG index was further assessed by the time-dependent Harrell’s C-index, integrated discrimination improvement (IDI) and the net reclassification improvement (NRI). Results During a median follow-up of 1.09 years, there were 146, 70, and 196 patients experienced all-cause death, cardiovascular death, and MACE, respectively. After fully adjusting for confounders, a per-unit increase of TyG index was associated with a 441% (adjusted HR: 5.41, 95% CI: 4.01–7.32), 385% (adjusted HR: 4.85, 95% CI: 3.16–7.43), and 347% (adjusted HR: 4.47, 95% CI: 3.42–5.85) higher risk of all-cause mortality, cardiovascular mortality and MACE, respectively. The RCS regression analyses revealed a linear association between TyG index and endpoints (all P for non-linearity > 0.05) with 8.40 as the optimal binary cutoff point. Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly heterogeneous malignancy with high incidence, recurrence, and metastasis rates. The emergence of immunotherapy has improved the treatment of advanced HCC, but problems such as drug resistance and immune-related adverse events still exist in clinical practice. The immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) of HCC restricts the efficacy of immunotherapy and is essential for HCC progression and metastasis. Therefore, it is necessary to elucidate the mechanisms behind immunosuppressive TME to develop and apply immunotherapy. This review systematically summarizes the pathogenesis of HCC, the formation of the highly heterogeneous TME, and the mechanisms by which the immunosuppressive TME accelerates HCC progression and metastasis. We also review the status of HCC immunotherapy and further discuss the existing challenges and potential therapeutic strategies targeting immunosuppressive TME. We hope to inspire optimizing and innovating immunotherapeutic strategies by comprehensively understanding the structure and function of immunosuppressive TME in HCC.

Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy uses genetically engineered T-cells with specific binding sites. This therapy allows for tumor specificity and durable treatment responses for patients with hematological malignancies. In this review, we study the risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE) associated with CAR-T therapy. We searched the National Institutes of Health library, Cochrane Library Databases, ClinicalTrials.gov database, and medical literature search engines PubMed and Google Scholar for Phase 2 and Phase 3 drug-efficacy and safety trials to determine the aggregate incidence and risk of VTE treated with CAR-T. Of 1127 search results, nine studies were identified and included in our meta-analysis. Of the 1017 patients who received therapy, 805 patients (79.15%) experienced some degree of CRS, and 122 patients (11.9%) experienced severe CRS (higher than grade 3). Only three out of one thousand and seventeen patients were reported to have experienced venous thromboembolism. Our study did not find a statistically significant association between increased VTE incidence (OR = 0.0005, 95% CI [0.0001, 0.0017]) and CRS/ICANS (p < 0.0001). There was a 0.0050 (95% confidence interval [0.0019, 0.0132]) relative risk for VTE. In our study, we did not find a statistically significantly increased risk of developing VTE despite CRS and underlying malignancy, which have been associated with increased risk of VTE.

Abstract Aquilaria yunnanensis is an endangered agarwood-producing tree currently listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. The agarwood it produces has important medicinal and economic value, but its population has sharply declined due to human destruction and habitat reduction. Therefore, obtaining genomic information on A. yunnanensis is beneficial for its protection work. We assembled a chromosome-level reference genome of A. yunnanensis by using BGI short reads, PacBio HiFi long reads, coupled with Hi-C technology. The final genome assembly of A. yunnanensis is 847.04 Mb, with N50 size of 99.68 Mb, in which 805.49 Mb of the bases were anchored on eight pseudo-chromosomes. Two gapless pseudo-chromosomes were detected in the assembly. A total of 27,955 protein-coding genes as well as 74.65% repetitive elements were annotated. These findings may provide valuable resources in conservation, functional genomics, and molecular breeding of A. yunnanensis, as well as the molecular phylogenetics and evolutionary patterns in Aquilaria.

Background/purpose: Retainer debonding of resin-bonded fixed dental prostheses (RBFDPs) is one of the major reasons for their lower survival rates than fixed dental prostheses (FDPs) with full-coverage crowns. Recent advances in milling technology have enabled the fabrication of RBFDPs with complex retainers (D-shaped designs). This study aimed to assess the marginal fit and retention force of zirconia RBFDPs with inlay-, L-, and D-shaped designs to clarify their clinical applications. Materials and methods: Three abutment teeth models without maxillary second premolars were created using inlay-, L-, and D-shaped retainer designs. The zirconia RBFDPs were designed and fabricated according to the manufacturer’s instructions (n = 10). The marginal gap was measured using the silicone replica technique. Zirconia frameworks were bonded to the abutment teeth using resin cement. Tensile test was conducted after thermal cycling and dynamic loading tests. The loads during debonding or fracture were recorded. The failure pattern was analyzed by observing the fracture surface using a scanning electron microscope. Abstract Whether intestinal Leucine-rich repeat containing G-protein-coupled receptor 4 (LGR4) impacts nutrition absorption and energy homeostasis remains unknown. Here, we report that deficiency of Lgr4 (Lgr4 iKO ) in intestinal epithelium decreased the proportion of enterocytes selective for long-chain fatty acid absorption, leading to reduction in lipid absorption and subsequent improvement in lipid and glucose metabolism. Single-cell RNA sequencing demonstrates the heterogeneity of absorptive enterocytes, with a decrease in enterocytes selective for long-chain fatty acid-absorption and an increase in enterocytes selective for carbohydrate absorption in Lgr4 iKO mice. Activation of Notch signaling and concurrent inhibition of Wnt signaling are observed in the transgenes. Associated with these alterations is the substantial reduction in lipid absorption. Decrement in lipid absorption renders Lgr4 iKO mice resistant to high fat diet-induced obesity relevant to wild type littermates. Our study thus suggests that targeting intestinal LGR4 is a potential strategy for the intervention of obesity and liver steatosis.

Abstract Background COVID-19 survivors may develop long-term symptoms of fatigue, dyspnea, mental health issues, and functional limitations: a condition termed post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC). Pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) is a recommended treatment for PASC; however, there is a lack of data regarding PR’s effect on multiple health indices and the factors that influence patient outcomes. The aim of our study is to evaluate the impact of pulmonary rehabilitation on functional and psychological parameters in patients diagnosed with Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (PASC), thereby offering insights into the efficacy of such interventions in improving the quality of life and clinical outcomes for these individuals. Methods We extracted patient demographic, comorbidity, and outcome data from Allegheny Health Network’s electronic medical records. Functionality test results were compared before and after PR, including 6-minute walk test (6MWT), chair rise repetitions (CR reps), timed up and go test (TUG), gait speed (Rehab gait), modified medical research council scale (MMRC), shortness of breath questionnaire (SOBQ), hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease assessment test (CAT) scores. Multiple regression analysis was done to evaluate the effect of comorbidities and patient factors on patient responses to PR. Results The 55 patients included in this study had a mean time of 4 months between the initial COVID-19 diagnosis and the subsequent PASC diagnosis. Following pulmonary rehabilitation (PR), significant improvements were observed across various metrics. The distance covered in the 6-minute walk test (6MWT) increased markedly from a pre-rehabilitation average of 895 feet (SD 290) to 1,300 feet (SD 335) post-rehabilitation, with a mean change of 405 feet (95% CI [333, 477]). Chair rise repetitions (CR reps) saw an increase from 9 (SD 3) reps to 13 (SD 3) reps, with a change of 4 reps (95% CI [3.7, 4.9]). The timed up and go test (TUG) time decreased significantly from 13 s (SD 5) to 10 s (SD 2), reflecting a mean reduction of 3 s (95% CI [-4.5, -2.5]). Rehabilitation gait speed improved from 1.0 m/s to 1.3 m/s, changing by 0.3 m/s (95% CI [0.2, 0.3]). The Modified Medical Research Council (MMRC) dyspnea scale showed a notable decrease from a mean of 2 (SD 1) to 1 (SD 1), a change of -1 (95% CI [-1.5, -1]). The Shortness of Breath Questionnaire (SOBQ) scores reduced significantly from 51 (SD 21) to 22 (SD 18), with a change of -29 (95% CI [-34, -23]). The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) scores decreased from 11 (SD 7) to 8 (SD 7), a reduction of -4 (95% CI [-5, -2]). Lastly, the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Assessment Test (CAT) scores significantly dropped from 18 (SD 7) to 9 (SD 7), changing by -10 (95% CI [-11, -8]). However, the presence of hypertension, diabetes, chronic lung diseases, outpatient status, and receipt of specific pharmacologic treatments (decadron, decadron + remdesivir, and decadron + remdesivir + tocilizumab) were identified as factors associated with a poor response to PR. Conclusion Our study supports PR as an integrated model of care for PASC patients to improve several physical and mental health indices. The long-term effects of PR on patients’ functional status should be investigated in the future.

Abstract Background Unequal access to primary healthcare (PHC) has become a critical issue in global health inequalities, requiring governments to implement policies tailored to communities’ needs and abilities. However, the place-based facility dimension of PHCs is oversimplified in current healthcare literature, and formulating the equity-oriented PHC spatial planning remains challenging without understanding the multiple impacts of community socio-spatial dynamics, particularly in remote areas. This study aims to push the boundary of PHC studies one step further by presenting a nuanced and dynamic understanding of the impact of community environments on the uneven primary healthcare supply. Methods Focusing on Shuicheng, a remote rural area in southwestern China, multiple data are included in this village-based study, i.e., the facility-level healthcare statistics data (2016–2019), the statistical yearbooks, WorldPop, and Chinese GDP’s spatial distribution data. We evaluate villages’ PHC service capacity using the number of doctors and essential equipment per capita, which are the major components of China’s PHC delivery. The indicators describing community environments are selected based on extant literature and China’s planning paradigms, including town- and village-level factors. Gini coefficients and local spatial autocorrelation analysis are used to present the divergences of PHC capacity, and multilevel regression model and (heterogeneous) difference in difference model are used to examine the driving role of community environments and the dynamics under the policy intervention. Results Despite the general improvement, PHC inequalities remain significant in remote rural areas. The village’s location, aging, topography, ethnic autonomy, and economic conditions significantly influence village-level PHC capacity, while demographic characteristics and healthcare delivery at the town level are also important. Although it may improve the hardware setting in village clinics (coef. = 0.350), the recent equity-oriented policy attempts may accelerate the loss of rural doctors (coef. = − 0.517). Notably, the associations between PHC and community environments are affected inconsistently by this round of policy intervention. The town healthcare centers with higher inpatient service capacity (coef. = − 0.514) and more licensed doctors (coef. = − 0.587) and nurses (coef. = − 0.344) may indicate more detrimental policy effects that reduced the number of rural doctors, while the centers with more professional equipment (coef. = 0.504) and nurses (coef. = 0.184) are beneficial for the improvement of hardware setting in clinics. Conclusions The findings suggest that the PHC inequalities are increasingly a result of joint social, economic, and institutional forces in recent years, underlining the increased complexity of the PHC resource allocation mechanism. Therefore, we claim the necessity to incorporate a broader understanding of community orientation in PHC delivery, particularly the interdisciplinary knowledge of the spatial lens of community, to support its sustainable development. Our findings also provide timely policy insights for ongoing primary healthcare reform in China.

Abstract With the development of the economy and society, we are faced with the dual challenges of energy demands and environmental pollution. As one of the important marine renewable energies, wave energy is widely distributed and abundant, and has considerable applications in various fields. Oscillating body wave energy converter (WEC) is most popular among WECs; its energy conversion efficiency is thus one of the key issues for practical large‐scale applications. This article establishes a new model of the float and vibrator under different motion conditions, conducts simulation training, and then solves the displacement and velocity at different times, and finally optimizes the maximum output power and optimal damping coefficient. Simulink calculation is one of the most effective tools including neural networks, which allows us to achieve intelligent training and simulation. The obtained data imply that the maximum output power could be 8.102 W when the corresponding linear damping is 21,000 N s/m and the rotation damping is 95,000 N s/m. The article takes into account the pitching motion of the float, providing a more realistic model and obtaining optimal power absorbing efficiency. The obtained results could be the potential reference data in practically setting up the wave energy conversion systems.

Abstract Exploring effective antibacterial approaches for targeted treatment of pathogenic bacterial infections with reduced drug resistance is of great significance. Combinational treatment modality that leverages different therapeutic components can improve the overall effectiveness and minimize adverse effects, thus displaying considerable potential against bacterial infections. Herein, red blood cell membrane fuses with macrophage membrane to develop hybrid cell membrane shell, which further camouflages around drug‐loaded liposome to fabricate biomimetic liposome (AB@LRM) for precise antibacterial therapy. Specifically, photoactive agent black phosphorus quantum dots (BPQDs) and classical antibiotics amikacin (AM) are loaded in AB@LRM to accurately target the inflammatory sites through the guidance of macrophage membrane and long residence capability of red blood cell membrane, eventually exerting efficacious antibacterial activities. Besides, due to the excellent photothermal and photodynamic properties, BPQDs act as an efficient antibacterial agent when exposed to near‐infrared laser irradiation, dramatically increasing the sensitivity of bacteria to antibiotics. Consequently, the synergistic sterilizing effect produced by AB@LRM further restricts bacterial resistance. Upon laser irradiation, AB@LRM shows superior anti‐inflammatory and antibacterial properties in models of P. aeruginosa‐infected pneumonia and wounds. Hence, this light‐activatable antibacterial nanoplatform with good biocompatibility presents great potential to advance the clinical development in the treatment of bacterial infections.

Cognitive behavioral stress management (CBSM) relieves physical and psychological burdens in patients with some central nervous system diseases, while its utility in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients is unclear. This study aimed to explore the effect of CBSM on neurologic recovery and psychosomatic health in AIS patients. Totally, 176 naive AIS patients were randomized into routine care (RC) group (n=88) and CBSM group (n=88) to receive a 3-month corresponding intervention. Modified Rankin scale (mRS) scores at the first month after discharge (M1) (P=0.008) and the third month after discharge (M3) (P=0.016) were lower in the CBSM group than in the RC group. The proportion of AIS patients with mRS score >2 at M3 was reduced in CBSM group vs RC group (P=0.045). Hospital anxiety depression scale (HADS)-anxiety score at M3 (P=0.016), HADS-depression score at M3 (P=0.005), and depression rate at M3 (P=0.021) were decreased in the CBSM group vs the RC group. EuroQol-5 dimension scores at M1 (P=0.024) and M3 (P=0.012) were decreased, while EuroQol-visual analogue scale score at M3 (P=0.026) was increased in the CBSM group vs the RC group. By subgroup analyses, CBSM had favorable outcomes in AIS patients with age ≤65 years. CBSM was beneficial to neurologic recovery and distress relief in AIS patients with an education level of middle school or above, and to health status in those with an education level of primary school or uneducated. In conclusion, CBSM benefitted neurologic recovery and psychosomatic health in AIS patients with minor neurological deficits, however, further studies should verify these results with a larger sample size and longer follow-up.

Background: High circulatory lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] concentration promotes atherosclerosis; however, its efficacy in predicting the extent of atherosclerotic coronary heart disease (CHD) with coronary artery obstruction and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) in diabetic patients remains questionable. This study aimed to examine whether elevated circulating Lp(a) levels exacerbate CHD and to assess their utility in predicting MACEs in individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods: In total, 4332 patients diagnosed with T2DM who underwent coronary angiography (CAG) were included and categorized into two groups (CHD and non-CHD) based on the CAG results. We used a correlation analysis to explore the potential links between the levels of circulating Lp(a) and CHD severity. Cox regression analysis was performed to evaluate MACEs. Results: The concentrations of circulating Lp(a) were markedly elevated in the CHD group and positively correlated with disease severity. Our results indicate that elevated circulating Lp(a) is a crucial risk factor that significantly contributes to both the progression and severity of CHD. Acacetin is one of the natural flavone components found in many plants and possesses diverse pharmacological activities. The anti-inflammatory properties and definite mechanism of acacetin remains incompletely illuminated. Here, we evaluated the efficacy of acacetin on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury in vivo and TNF-α-stimulated cellular injury in vitro. As indicated by survival experiments, acacetin reduced mortality and improved survival time of LPS-induced acute lung injury in mice. 50 mg/kg of acacetin obtained higher survival (about 60 %), and 20 mg/kg of acacetin was about 46.7 %. In addition, 20 mg/kg of acacetin rescued lung histopathologic damage in LPS treated mice, lowered lung-to-body weight and lung wet-to-dry ratios, suppressed myeloperoxidase activity in lung tissue, the contents of protein, the numbers of total cells and neutrophils in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), and the contents of inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-6, IL-17 and IL-1β in BALF. Acacetin also increased the activity and expression of SIRT1, thereby suppressing acetylation-dependent activation NF-κB. Similarly, in vitro, acacetin increased cell viability, reduced levels of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-17, and IL-1β, increased NAD+ levels as well as NAD/NADH ratio, and then up-regulated the activity and expression of SIRT1, and restrained acetylation-dependent activation NF-κB in TNF-α-stimulated A549 cells, which could be abolished by SIRT1 siRNA. Collectively, the current study showed that acacetin exerts a protective effiect on acute lung injury by improving the activity and expression SIRT1, thereby suppressing the acetylation-dependent activation of NF-κB-p65 and the release of downstream inflammatory cytokines.

Summary: Pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC) is a crucial enzyme that connects glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle pathway. It plays an essential role in regulating glucose metabolism for energy production by catalyzing the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate to acetyl coenzyme A. Importantly, the activity of PDC is regulated through post-translational modifications (PTMs), phosphorylation, acetylation, and O-GlcNAcylation. These PTMs have significant effects on PDC activity under both physiological and pathophysiological conditions, making them potential targets for metabolism-related diseases. This review specifically focuses on the PTMs of PDC in cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) such as myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury, diabetic cardiomyopathy, obesity-related cardiomyopathy, heart failure (HF), and vascular diseases. The findings from this review offer theoretical references for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of CVD.

ABSTRACT Arthropods harbor complex microbiota that play a pivotal role in host fitness. While multiple factors, like host species and diet, shape microbiota in arthropods, their impact on community assembly in wild insects remains largely unknown. In this study, we surveyed bacterial and fungal community assembly in nine sympatric wild insect species that share a common citrus fruit diet. Source tracking analysis suggested that these insects acquire some bacteria and fungi from the citrus fruit with varying degrees. Although sharing a common diet led to microbiota convergence, the diversity, composition, and network of both bacterial and fungal communities varied significantly among surveyed insect groups. Null model analysis indicated that stochastic processes, particularly dispersal limitation and drift, are primary drivers of structuring insect bacterial and fungal communities. Importantly, the influence of each community assembly process varied strongly depending on the host species. Thus, we proposed a speculative view that the host specificity of the microbiome and mycobiome assembly is widespread in wild insects despite sharing the same regional species pool. Overall, this research solidifies the importance of host species in shaping microbiomes and mycobiomes, providing novel insights into their assembly mechanisms in wild insects.IMPORTANCESince the microbiome has been shown to impact insect fitness, a mechanistic understanding of community assembly has potentially significant applications but remains largely unexplored. Abstract Background The optimal treatment approach for low‐risk prostate cancer (LRPC) remains controversial. While active surveillance is an increasingly popular option, definitive local treatments, including radical prostatectomy (RP), external beam radiotherapy (EBRT), and prostate seed implantation (PSI), are also commonly used. This study aimed to evaluate the survival outcomes of patients with LRPC using a large patient population from the National Cancer Database (NCDB). Methods We analyzed data from 195,452 patients diagnosed with LRPC between 2004 and 2015 using the NCDB. Patients were classified based on their treatment modalities, including RP, EBRT, PSI, or no local treatment (NLT). Only patients with Charlson–Deyo comorbidity scores of 0 or 1 were included to ensure comparability. Propensity score analysis was used to balance the treatment groups, and the accelerated failure time model was used to analyze the survival rates of the treatment groups. Results After a median follow‐up of 70.8 months, 24,545 deaths occurred, resulting in an all‐cause mortality rate of 13%. RP demonstrated a survival benefit compared with NLT, particularly in patients younger than 74 years of age. In contrast, radiation treatments (EBRT and PSI) did not improve survival in the younger age groups, except for patients older than 70 years for EBRT and older than 65 years for PSI. Notably, EBRT in patients younger than 65 years was associated with inferior outcomes. Conclusion This study highlights the differences in survival outcomes among LRPC treatment modalities. RP was associated with improved survival compared to NLT, especially in younger patients. In contrast, EBRT and PSI showed survival benefits primarily in the older age groups. NLT is a reasonable choice, particularly in younger patients when RP is not chosen. These findings emphasize the importance of individualized treatment decisions for LRPC management.

BackgroundExtranodal Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is more prevalent in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract than in other sites. This study aimed to explore the clinical features and prognostic factors of primary intestinal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PI-DLBCL), in order to provide new references for basic research and clinical diagnosis and treatment of the rare extranodal malignant lymphoma.MethodsThe clinical data of 88 patients with PI-DLBCL admitted to Fujian Medical University Union Hospital from June 2011 to June 2022 were retrospectively studied, the clinical and pathological features, diagnosis and treatment process and prognosis of PI-DLBCL were analyzed, and univariate and multivariate analysis of prognostic factors was carried out. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for survival analysis. Meanwhile, the latest literature from PubMed was retrieved to systematically discuss the research progress in the diagnosis and treatment of PI-DLBCL.ResultsAmong the 88 patients with PI-DLBCL included in this study, 60 cases were males (68.18%), 28 cases were females (31.82%), and 62 patients (70.45%) were complaining of abdominal pain, and the second most common clinical manifestation was changes in bowel habits in 16 (18.18%), with a median age of onset of 57 (17–82) years. The first-line treatment regimen was surgery combined with R-CHOP chemotherapy (56.82%). The median follow-up time was 72 (1–148) months, 51 (57.95%) of 88 patients with PI-DLBCL survived, 30 patients (34.09%) died, 7 patients (7.95%) were lost to follow-up, and the PFS rates of 1-year, 3-year and 5-year were 57.95%, 29.55% and 15.91%, and the OS rates of 1-year, 3-year and 5-year were 79.55%, 45.45% and 28.41%, respectively. The results of univariate Cox regression analysis showed that ECOG score, Lugano stage, B symptoms, IPI score, white blood cells, serum LDH, albumin, β2 microglobulin were the influencing factors of OS in PI-DLBCL patients, and ECOG score, Lugano stage, B symptoms, IPI score, white blood cells, serum LDH, albumin, β2 microglobulin were all the influencing factors of PFS in PI-DLBCL patients. The results of multivariate Cox analysis showed that Lugano stage may be an independent prognostic factor affecting OS and PFS in PI-DLBCL patients.ConclusionPI-DLBCL is more common in middle-aged and elderly men, clinical manifestations lack specificity, first-line treatment is mainly surgery combined with standard chemotherapy regimens. The Lugano stage may be an independent prognostic factor affecting OS and PFS in PI-DLBCL patients.

Objective(s): Cardiac arrest is a crucial procedure in various cardiac surgeries, during which the heart is subjected to an ischemic state. The occurrence of ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury is inevitable due to aortic blockage and opening. The Histidine-tryptophan-ketoglutarate (HTK) solution is commonly used as an organ protection liquid to mitigate cardiac injury during cardiac surgery. Despite its widespread use, there is significant potential for improving its protective efficacy.Materials and Methods: The cardioprotective effect of HTK solution with and without melatonin was evaluated using the isolated Langendorff-perfused mouse heart model. The isolated C57bL/6 mouse hearts were randomly divided into four groups: control, I/R, HTK solution treatment before reperfusion (HTK+I/R), and HTK solution combined with melatonin before reperfusion (HTK+M+I/R). Cardiac function and myocardial injury markers were then measured. AMP-activated protein kinase α2 (AMPKα2) KO mice were used to investigate the underlying mechanism.Results: In our study, we found that melatonin significantly improved the protective effects of HTK solution in an isolated Langendorff-perfused mouse model, mechanistically by reducing mitochondrial damage, improving energy metabolism, inhibiting cardiomyocyte apoptosis, and reducing myocardial infarction size. We also observed that the HTK solution alone was ineffective in inhibiting ER stress, but when melatonin was added, there was a significant reduction in ER stress. Furthermore, melatonin was found to alleviate carbonyl stress during cardiac I/R. Interestingly, our results showed that the cardioprotective properties of melatonin were dependent on AMPKα2.Conclusion: The findings presented in this study offer a valuable empirical foundation for the development of perioperative cardioprotective strategies.

Abstract Background The clinical outcomes of diabetes can be influenced by primary care providers’ (PCP) treatment approaches. This study explores the association between PCP approaches to management and performance measured by established diabetes metrics and related costs. Methods In phase one, Electronic Medical Records were used to extract diabetes related metrics using Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), for patients with diabetes who had office visits to 44 PCP practices from April 2019 to March 2020. Using those metrics and scoring system, PCP practices were ranked and then categorized into high- and low-performing groups (top and bottom 25%, n = 11 each), with a total of 19,059 clinic visits by patients with a diagnosis of diabetes. Then extensive analysis was performed to evaluate a correlation between treatment approaches and diabetes outcomes across the top and bottom performing practices. In phase 2, patients with diabetes who were attributed to the aforementioned PCP practices were identified in a local health plan claims data base (a total of 3,221 patients), and the allowed amounts from their claims were used to evaluate differences in total and diabetes-related healthcare costs by providers’ performance. Abstract As the implementers of government policies, junior civil servants bear the responsibility of providing services to the public. Whether they can put themselves in the people’s shoes and show more active service consciousness directly reflects the government’s management ability and the realization of service-oriented government goals. Although proactive service behavior has been studied, it has not been brought into the field of government administration. Hence, from the perspective of servant leadership, this study attempts to introduce proactive service behavior (PSB) into the field of government administration, and discusses the promotion strategies of junior civil servants’ PSB in China. Through the statistical analysis of 416 junior civil servants collected in the two stages, this study verifies that servant leadership has a significant positive impact on public service motivation and PSB of junior civil servants. Public service motivation (PSM) can partially mediate the promotion effect of servant leadership on junior civil servants’ PSB. Role identity can positively moderate the relationship between servant leadership and junior civil servants’ PSM, and then affect their PSB. Therefore, this study suggests that leading cadres should integrate servant leadership into daily life, take the lead in providing quality services to their subordinates, and then inspire more proactive service to the masses.

One of the major challenges arising in internet of military things (IoMT) is accommodating massive connectivity while providing guaranteed quality of service (QoS) in terms of ultra-high reliability. In this regard, this paper presents a class of code-domain nonorthogonal multiple accesses (NOMAs) for uplink ultra reliable networking of massive IoMT based on tactical datalink such as Link-16 and joint tactical information distribution system (JTIDS). In the considered scenario, a satellite equipped with Nr antennas servers K devices including vehicles, drones, ships, sensors, handset radios, etc. Nonorthogonal coded modulation, a special form of multiple input multiple output (MIMO)-NOMA is proposed. The discussion starts with evaluating the output signal to interference-plus-noise (SINR) of receiver filter, leading to the unveiling of a closed-form expression for overloading systems as the number of users is significantly larger than the number of devices admitted such that massive connectivity is rendered. The expression allows for the development of simple yet successful interference suppression based on power allocation and phase shaping techniques that maximizes the sum rate since it is equivalent to fixed-point programming as can be proved. The proposed design is exemplified by nonlinear modulation schemes such as minimum shift keying (MSK) and Gaussian MSK (GMSK), two pivotal modulation formats in IoMT standards such as Link-16 and JITDS. Numerical results show that near capacity performance is offered. Fortunately, the performance is obtained using simple forward error corrections (FECs) of higher coding rate than existing schemes do, while the transmit power is reduced by 6 dB. The proposed design finds wide applications not only in IoMT but also in deep space communications, where ultra reliability and massive connectivity is a keen concern.

Objective: We used a framework to assess the value implications of thoracic surgeon operative volume within an 8-hospital health system. Methods: Surgical cases for non–small cell lung cancer were assessed from March 2015 to March 2021. High-volume (HV) surgeons performed >25 pulmonary resections annually. Metrics include length of stay, infection rates, 30-day readmission, in-hospital mortality, median 30-day charges and direct costs, and 3-year recurrence-free and overall survival. Multivariate regression-based propensity scores matched patients between groups. Metrics were graphed on radar charts to conceptualize total value. Results: All 638 lung resections were performed by 12 surgeons across 6 hospitals. Two HV surgeons performed 51% (n = 324) of operations, and 10 low-volume surgeons performed 49% (n = 314). Abstract Anion exchanger 2 (AE2) is an electroneutral Na+-independent Cl-/HCO3 - exchanger belongs to the SLC4 transporter family. The widely expressed AE2 participates in a variety of physiological processes, including transepithelial acid-base secretion and osteoclastogenesis. Both the transmembrane domains (TMDs) and the N-terminal cytoplasmic domain (NTD) are involved in regulation of AE2 activity. However, the regulatory mechanism remains unclear. Here, we report a 3.2 Å cryo-EM structure of the AE2 TMDs in complex with PIP2 and a 3.3 Å full-length mutant AE2 structure in the resting state without PIP2. We demonstrate that PIP2 at the TMD dimer interface is involved in the substrate exchange process. Mutation in the PIP2 binding site leads to the displacement of TM7 and further stabilizes the interaction between the TMD and the NTD. Reduced substrate transport activity and conformation similar to AE2 in acidic pH indicating the central contribution of PIP2 to the function of AE2.

Abstract Aluminum alloys play an important role in circular metallurgy due to their good recyclability and 95% energy gain when made from scrap. Their low density and high strength translate linearly to lower greenhouse gas emissions in transportation, and their excellent corrosion resistance enhances product longevity. The durability of Al alloys stems from the dense barrier oxide film strongly bonded to the surface, preventing further degradation. However, despite decades of research, the individual elemental reactions and their influence on the nanoscale characteristics of the oxide film during corrosion in multicomponent Al alloys remain unresolved questions. Here, we build up a direct correlation between the near-atomistic picture of the corrosion oxide film and the solute reactivity in the aqueous corrosion of a high-strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy. We reveal the formation of nanocrystalline Al oxide and highlight the solute partitioning between the oxide and the matrix and segregation to the internal interface. The sharp decrease in partitioning content of Mg in the peak-aged alloy emphasizes the impact of heat treatment on the oxide stability and corrosion kinetics. Through H isotopic labelling with deuterium, we provide direct evidence that the oxide acts as a trap for this element, pointing at the essential role of the Al oxide might act as a kinetic barrier in preventing H embrittlement. Our findings advance the mechanistic understanding of further improving the stability of Al oxide, guiding the design of corrosion-resistant alloys for potential applications.

ABSTRACTGeographic processes are dynamic, wherein geographical entities and phenomena change over time and are characterized by vagueness. However, most studies on geographic processes employ precise expression methods to describe and express the changing trajectories of geographical entities and phenomena, ignoring vagueness. This strategy fails to facilitate the objective description and expression of the entire process and may affect analysis results. Herein, a time feature expression model of vague geographic processes is established based on the interval type-2 fuzzy set theory to describe and express the vague time characteristics comprising three model stages that reflect the geographic process evolution sequence: production (beginning), development, and extinction (end). Finally, the practicability of the proposed model is verified using two case studies, i.e. the landing process of typhoon ‘Lekima’ and the desert greening process in Xinjiang, China.

Abstract Caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2), coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) primarily manifests as respiratory dysfunction. However, emerging evidence suggests SARS‐CoV‐2 can invade the brain, leading to cognitive impairment (CI). It may spread to other brain regions through transsynaptic neurons, including the olfactory, optic, and vagus nerves. Moreover, it may invade the central nervous system through blood transmission or the lymphatic system. This review summarizes the neuroimaging evidence from clinical and imaging studies of COVID‐19‐associated CIs, including magnetic resonance imaging and 18F‐fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography‐computed tomography. The mechanisms underlying COVID‐19‐associated CIs are currently being actively investigated. They include nonimmune effects, such as viral proteins, tissue hypoxia, hypercoagulability, and pathological changes in neuronal cells, and immune effects, such as microglia and astrocyte activation, peripheral immune cell infiltration, blood‐brain barrier impairment, cytokine network dysregulation, and intestinal microbiota. Inflammation is the central feature. Both central and systemic inflammation may cause acute and persistent neurological changes, and existing evidence indicates that inflammation underlies the elevated risk of Alzheimer's disease. Finally, potential therapeutic options for COVID‐19‐associated CIs are discussed. In‐depth research into the pathological mechanisms is still needed to help develop new therapies.

IntroductionThis study aimed to determine the effectiveness of group therapy on the stress coping skills of Chinese students in Korea using a pre-test post-test control group design.MethodsThirty participants were randomly placed into an experimental group (EG; n = 15) and a control group (CG; n = 15). The EG completed eight 120-min sessions of group art therapy. The Person-in-the-Rain (PITR) drawing test was conducted with both groups before and after the EG completed art therapy.ResultsThe test revealed that EG members demonstrated lower stress and significantly higher stress resources and coping abilities than the CG members after the intervention. The group art therapy program improved the EG participants’ ability to deal with stress.DiscussionThis study’s findings may offer insights useful for determining how best to provide psychological and emotional support to international students who have left their home countries and are continuing their academic journeys abroad.

Purpose To compare the impact of erector spinae plane block (ESPB) and paravertebral block (PVB) on the quality of postoperative recovery (QoR) of patients following laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG). Methods A total of 110 patients who underwent elective LSG under general anesthesia were randomly assigned to receive either ultrasound-guided bilateral ESPB or PVB at T8 levels. Before anesthesia induction, 40 mL of 0.33% ropivacaine was administered. The primary outcome was the QoR-15 score at 24 hours postoperatively. Results At 24 hours postoperatively, the QoR-15 score was comparable between the ESPB and PVB groups (131 (112–140) vs. 124 (111–142.5), P = 0.525). Consistently, there was no significant difference in QoR-15 scores at 48 hours postoperatively, numerical rating scale (NRS) pain scores at any postoperative time points, time to first ambulation, time to first anal exhaust, postoperative cumulative oxycodone consumption, and incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) between the two groups (all P > 0.05). No nerve block-related complications were observed in either group. Conclusion In patients undergoing LSG, preoperative bilateral ultrasound-guided ESPB yields comparable postoperative recovery to preoperative bilateral ultrasound-guided PVB.

Vascular dementia (VD), a chronic syndrome of acquired intellectual impairment resulting from cerebrovascular diseases, is closely linked to neuronal autophagy and apoptosis. As a standardized extract from Ginkgo biloba L. leaves, EGb761 is widely applied for treating cerebrovascular diseases owing to its neuroprotective effects, with on-going research exploring its therapeutic mechanisms. Rat model of VD and SH-SY5Y cell model with OGD/R injury was applied for this study. Results showed that EGb761 reduces OGD/R-elicited apoptosis and autophagosome production, whereas improving the viability of hippocampal neurons. EGb761 treatment led to a decrease in the ratios of p-AMPK/AMPK, Bax/Bcl-2, cleaved caspase-3/caspase-3, cleaved caspase-9/caspase-9, LC3-II/LC3-I, and level of Beciln-1, as well as enhancing the proportion of p-mTOR/mTOR. Additionally, EGb761 indicated a protective effect on rats' cognitive function. These results demonstrated EGb761′s specific therapeutic mechanism in preventing apoptosis and autophagy in VD models and improving cognitive functioning in VD rats through AMPK-mTOR signalling.

This quantitative study aimed to explore the relationships among music performance anxiety (MPA), teacher anxiety (TA), and self-efficacy (SE) through a survey study of Chinese preservice music teachers (N = 237). We also examined gender, grade, primary instrument, secondary instrument, music learning time length, and time spent in four activities: peer teaching, practicum, internship, and private teaching as potential predictors of MPA, TA, and SE. Results indicated that the higher the self-efficacy, the lower music performance anxiety and teaching anxiety; Simultaneously, the increased music performance anxiety was associated with an increased teaching anxiety. Partial correlation results indicated a significant but negative correlation between TA and SE with MPA controlled. Teaching anxiety, followed by primary piano, was the strongest predictor of MPA. MPA, followed by SE and peer teaching, was the strongest predictor of TA. TA, followed by grade level, was the strongest predictor of SE. The results from the multivariate analysis of variance revealed that the SE of male preservice music teachers were significantly higher than their female counterparts. As a study implication, music teacher educators may consider interventions and support mechanisms that address both types of anxiety simultaneously to improve overall teacher preparedness.

Objectives: The present study was conducted to explore the performance of micronutrients in the prediction and prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods: This is an observational case-control study. 149 normal controls (NCs) and 214 COVID-19 patients were included in this study. Fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins were determined by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis, and inorganic elements were detected by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) analysis. A logistic regression model based on six micronutrients were constructed using DxAI platform. Results: Many micronutrients were dysregulated in COVID-19 compared to normal control (NC). 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 [25(OH)D3], magnesium (Mg), copper (Cu), calcium (Ca) and vitamin B6 (pyridoxic acid, PA) were significantly independent risk factors for COVID-19. The logistic regression model consisted of 25(OH)D3, Mg, Cu, Ca, vitamin B5 (VB5) and PA was developed, and displayed a strong discriminative capability to differentiate COVID-19 patients from NC individuals [area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) = 0.901]. In addition, the model had great predictive ability in discriminating mild/normal COVID-19 patients from NC individuals (AUROC = 0.883). Conclusions: Our study showed that micronutrients were associated with COVID-19, and our logistic regression model based on six micronutrients has potential in clinical management of COVID-19, and will be useful for prediction of COVID-19 and screening of high-risk population.

Background: The aim of this study was to assess whether intravenous dexamethasone was noninferior to perineural dexamethasone as an adjuvant to ropivacaine for a combination of saphenous and sciatic nerve blocks in patients undergoing foot and ankle surgery. Methods: This was a prospective, blinded, randomized noninferiority study. Seventy-five patients, aged 18–75 years, with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-III who underwent foot and ankle surgery were involved. Patients scheduled for ultrasound-guided popliteal sciatic nerve block and saphenous nerve block were randomized to receive 0.375% ropivacaine with 7.5 mg of dexamethasone perineurally (Dex-PN), 10 mg of dexamethasone intravenously (Dex-IV) or neither (Placebo). The primary outcome was the duration of analgesia. The major secondary outcomes were the composite pain intensity and opioid consumption score at 0–48 h intervals after anesthesia. Abstract Background and aims Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) is considered a new biomarker for atherosclerosis, but its ability to predict cardiovascular outcomes has been controversial. This study aimed to address the lack of data on PCSK9, coronary heart disease (CHD) severity, and major cardiovascular events (MACEs) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods A total of 2984 T2DM patients underwent selective coronary angiography, and their serum PCSK9 levels were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Abstract Background Chromosomal translocations involving core binding factor (CBF) genes account for 15% of adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cases in China. Despite being classified as favorable‐risk by European Leukemia Net (ELN), CBF‐AML patients have a 40% relapse rate. This study aims to analyze clinical characteristics and prognosis of CBF‐AML, compare its subtypes (inv(16) and t(8;21)), and validate prognostic factors. Methods Retrospective analysis of 149 AML patients (75 CBF‐AML, 74 non‐CBF) at Peking University First Hospital (March 2012–March 2022). Results CBF‐AML patients have significantly lower disease‐free survival (DFS) (p = 0.005) and higher non‐relapse mortality (NRM) (p = 0.028) compared to non‐CBF AML. inv (16) and t(8;21) show distinct co‐occurring gene mutation patterns, with inv(16) being prone to central nervous system (CNS) leukemia. Multivariate analysis identifies age as a risk factor for overall survival (OS) and disease free survival (DFS), kinase mutation as a risk factor for DFS and Recurrence, while WT1 mutation as a risk factor for OS and non relapse mortality (NRM) risk in t(8;21) AML. Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT) improves prognosis in low‐risk t(8;21). Conclusion Prognosis of CBF‐AML is poorer than ELN guidelines suggest. inv(16) and (8;21) are separate entities with relatively poor prognoses, requiring rational risk stratification strategies. Allo‐HSCT may benefit low‐risk t(8;21), but further research is needed for conclusive evidence.

A novel approach is introduced for the detection of the location and direction of traffic congestion using GPS data from taxis. This approach uses a dynamic model that conceptualizes events, processes, and states. The states are the locations of the taxis, the processes are the motion of taxis, and the events are congestion. The model is implemented as a graph database, which represents the relationships between states, events, processes, and things (such as points of interest and road grid). Algorithms for constructing and updating the relationships and taxi behaviors dynamic retrieval method in Neo4j are presented and are used to demonstrate the capabilities in dynamic expression and reasoning. An implementation of Shanghai in 2015 finally demonstrated the ability of congestion direction detection and the cause searching of traffic congestion.
