This research has a significant contribution to the understanding of changes in the oral literary practices of the Dayak Kanayatn and their impact on their social identity. A qualitative research method was employed to collect data through the interpretation of semiotic texts of Dayak Kanayatn oral literature. The importance of this research lies in addressing the influence of contemporary cultural issues, including social media and urbanization, which have shifted the interest of the younger generation from traditional oral literature to modern forms of entertainment. However, the gap that this research aims to address is the imbalance between the younger generation’s interest in traditional oral literature and the influence of contemporary culture, which tends to lean towards modern entertainment forms. The research aims to highlight the challenges of maintaining oral literary practices in the era of globalization and continuous modernization. Research findings also reveal that oral literary practices remain crucial in preserving the social identity of the Dayak Kanayatn. Despite facing challenges, this community continues to strive to preserve their oral literature through various initiatives such as cultural education in local schools and literary festivals. Thus, this research provides in-depth insights into social and cultural identity among the Dayak Kanayatn and their efforts to preserve and strengthen their social identity through the heritage of oral literature. The study underscores the importance of preserving Dayak local culture amidst the ongoing trends of globalization and modernization. By highlighting this gap, the research offers a better understanding of how the Dayak Kanayatn community can overcome these challenges to preserve their cultural heritage.

Tidak hanya terkait dengan rendahnya pendapatan, tetapi juga rendahnya pendidikan, kesehatan, dan ketidakberdayaan untuk berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri dan dukungan orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkanke perguruan tinggi pada siswa SMA/SMK penerima bantuan sosial. Penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif melalui skala likert, dengan sampel 130 siswa penerima bantuan sosial di Kecamatan Medan Deli. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanterdapat pengaruh signifikan kepercayaan diri dan dukungan orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi, dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing 0,000 < 0,05. Dan hipotesis ketiga yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan dukungan orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa ini dapat dilihat dari nilai F hitung sebesar 393.139 dengan tingkat signifikan sebesar 0,000. Sedangkan nilai F tabel pada taraf signifikan 95% (α = 0,05) adalah 2,68 dimana (F hitung > F tabel) sehingga 393,139 > 2,68 dan nilai sig < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05).

Plasenta perkreta dikaitkan dengan morbiditas ibu yang lebih tinggi daripada subtipe plasenta akreta lainnya karena invasi plasenta yang lebih luas sehingga menimbulkan perdarahan sulit dikontrol dan sering membutuhkan tranfusi masif. Pada kasus ini dilaporkan seorang pasien perempuan hamil dengan keluhan keluar darah dari jalan lahir disertai riwayat urine bercampur darah yang dilakukan operasi seksio sesarea. Pasien dilakukan anestesi epidural untuk kelahiran bayi yang dilanjutkan dengan anestesi umum intubasi setelah bayi lahir. Saat intraoperatif didapatkan perdarahan masif dan dilakukan protokol tranfusi masif. Hemodinamik bisa dipertahankan stabil sampai setelah operasi. Hasil laboratorium setelah operasi sudah mendekati target dari protokol transfusi masif. Kondisi bayi baik saat dilahirkan. Tatalaksana anestesi, perkiraan jumlah perdarahan intraoperatif, resusitasi cairan yang adekuat dan transfusi darah yang tepat akan memberikan dampak besar terhadap kondisi ibu dan bayi selama operasi dan paska operasi seksio sesarea dengan plasenta perkreta.

Many students experience the difficulty of applying the right variations of embroidery to clothing. The available learning resources only contain material on clothing variations without providing appropriate examples for applying embroidery variations to clothing. Hence, this research aims to develop an electronic book on the application of embroidery variations to clothing. The research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The development model used is the Brog and gall model. Validation of teaching materials is carried out by material experts and media experts. The validation results from material experts indicates 92.06% in the very feasible category. The validation results from media experts reveals an average of 94.43%, which was very feasible. Small group trials indicates an average result of 82.87% in the very feasible category. Large group trials reveals an average score of 87.85% in the very feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that the e-book on embroidery variations is very suitable for use in basic embroidery technique courses. The development of an electronic book on embroidery variations can facilitate the delivery of practical material in applying embroidery variations on clothing so as to increase students' understanding of learning basic embroidery techniques.

Electromagnetic noise emission is inevitable in a DC-DC converter due to the employed switching technique. In low frequency, the noise propagating through cabling and conductive media is called a conducted emission. A conducted emission consists of differential mode and common mode noise. It is advantageous to know an estimate of emission level for each mode during the design phase so that suitable mitigation can be included earlier.. This paper aims to focus on a method to estimate the differential mode noise emission of a DC-DC converter. The estimation is computed using the input capacitor complex impedance and the current that flows through it. As a study case, a boost and buck converters are used for evaluation. The estimation and measurement results are compared. Despite differences at some frequencies, the estimated and measured results generally agree well. Because of its simplicity, the proposed method can be used as a practical tool in the EMC aspect of DC-DC converter design.

The development of digital technology contributes significant roles to businesses, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It raises the digital economy and fintech services to the MSMEs market, such as peer-to-peer lending, digital payment, crowdfunding, digital assets, e-commerce, social commerce, etc. This research aims to analyze MSMEs financial and business improvement model by using MSME’s digital economy products and fintech penetration strategy in Indonesia. This study employed a mixed research method by integrating the Delphi technique and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The Delphi method was used to identify criteria or construct for the research framework, while AHP was used to evaluate and determine the score and priorities of the MSMEs financial performance criteria, business goals, digital economy’s alternative products, and fintech penetration strategies. The Delphi method consists of round 1 – to explore the research framework, round 2 – to rank the research indicators, followed by AHP at round 3. The study involves 20 expert panels of MSMEs in greater Jakarta. This study found that the use of digital economy products – particularly fintech will enhance MSMEs’ financial performance by increasing sales volume and business profits. It helps them achieving business goals by increasing their revenue and expanding their business. MSMEs need digital payment and mobile banking as vital fintech services. This study also provides strategic guidance to fintech players and government to effectively penetrate fintech products to MSMEs mainly through knowledge dissemination and digital knowledge improvement.

Many Batik motifs in North Sumatra are adopted from the decorative motifs of the Batak tribe. The Malay tribe is a symbol of the city of Medan, which has an attractive variety of decorations. This research aims to produce Malay batik motif designs and carry out batik trials on fabric with motifs that have been developed. This research uses the IDI development model. The result of validating the motif design aspect is 0.83, and the motif appearance aspect is 0.88. The functional aspect assessment resulted in a score of 0.87. The assessment result of the color aspect obtained a score of 0.87, and the balance aspect of batik design motifs obtained a score of 0.79. The validation results conclude that the developed batik motif is declared suitable for use in producing textile products in Malay batik. The results of the development of Malay batik can increase its diversity, potentially advancing local culture in the fashion world.

Purpose: Integrating vermicompost and hydroponics in rice agriculture presents an innovative and sustainable solution for transforming organic waste into valuable resources. This review explores the possible utilization of organic waste into productive resources through vermicompost and hydroponics in rice agriculture. Method: A comprehensive literature review was conducted to investigate the potential use of vermicompost derived from organic waste for hydroponic rice agriculture. The available literature was analyzed to reveal and explore the various aspects of this application. Results: The literature review reveals that the utilization of vermicompost derived from organic waste in hydroponic rice agriculture holds the potential to evolve into effective strategies for reducing, reusing, and recycling organic waste. Vermicompost decreases used inorganic fertilizers, with studies reporting up to 30% reductions. The application of vermicompost can enhance plant growth by approximately 15% to 30% and positively impact increasing specific nutrients in plants. Using vermicompost can also increase the average crop yield by about 5% to 25% compared to other organic materials. Conclusion: This study found that integrating vermicompost and hydroponics represents a promising approach for transforming organic waste into productive resources. This integration allows organic waste to be effectively converted into nutrient-rich vermicompost and valuable growing medium in hydroponic systems. Scientific research has demonstrated the potential benefits of this approach, including improved nutrient availability, enhanced plant growth and yield, and reduced environmental impact. By combining the nutrient-rich properties of vermicompost with the precision and efficiency of hydroponic systems, farmers can achieve sustainable and resource-efficient crop production. Kulit biji kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.) saat ini tidak dimanfaatkan dan menjadi limbah sisa produksi makanan, salah satunya sebagai limbah dari tauge. Kulit biji kacang hijau diketahui kaya akan flavonoid sehingga besar peluang untuk memanfaatkan limbah menjadi salah satu komponen yang baik untuk kesehatan tubuh yaitu sebagai sumber antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas antioksidan dan potensi inhibisi nitrit oksida dari ekstrak etanol kulit biji kacang hijau. Ekstrak diperoleh melalui metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 96% dengan rendemen sebesar 0,9947%. Aktivitas antioksidan diuji menggunakan metode DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil), sedangkan potensi inhibisi nitrit oksida diukur melalui penguraian SNP menjadi NO yang diukur dengan pereaksi Griess. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol kulit biji kacang hijau memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 91,36 ug/mL terhadap radikal bebas DPPH. Selain itu, ekstrak juga menunjukkan kemampuan yang signifikan dalam menghambat pembentukan nitrit oksida dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 88,05 ug/mL. Aktivitas ini diduga berkaitan dengan kandungan senyawa flavonoid dalam ekstrak, terutama vitexin dan luteolin. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa ekstrak etanol kulit biji kacang hijau berpotensi sebagai sumber antioksidan alami dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk pencegahan penyakit degeneratif terkait stres oksidatif. Abstract Mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) seed coats are currently underutilized and become waste from food production, including as a waste product of bean sprouts. Mung bean seed coats are known rich in flavonoids compound. It was presenting a significant opportunity to utilize this waste as a beneficial component for human health as antioxidant. This study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activity and potential nitric oxide inhibition of ethanol extracts from mung bean seed coats. The extract was obtained through maceration using 96% ethanol, yielding 0.9947%. Antioxidant activity was assessed using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) method, while nitric oxide inhibition potential was measured through the decomposition of SNP into NO, quantified using Griess reagent. Results showed that the ethanol extract of mung bean seed coats exhibited strong antioxidant activity with an IC50 91.36 ug/mL against DPPH free radicals. Additionally, the extract demonstrated significant ability to inhibit nitric oxide formation with an IC50 88.05 ug/mL. This activity is likely related to the flavonoid content in the extract, particularly vitexin and luteolin. These findings indicate that the ethanol extract of mung bean seed coats has potential as a natural antioxidant source and could be further developed for the prevention of degenerative diseases associated with oxidative stress. ABSTRACTIndonesia has an abundance of pigmented rice cultivars with high nutritional value. The purpose of this study was to identify and characterize the phytochemical profiles, anthocyanin properties, and biological activities of endogenous Indonesian black rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars from Java and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Islands. Thirteen black rice cultivars from eastern Nusa Tenggara and West, Central, and East Java were examined. The secondary metabolites of the black rice samples included flavonoids, tannins, phenolics, quinones, glycosides, anthraquinones, leucoanthocyanidins, alkaloids, and proteins. According to the FRAP (ferric reducing antioxidant power) assay, various levels of antioxidant activity were present. The results of an alpha amylase inhibition assay indicated that the black rice samples might have antidiabetic properties. We conclude that the Java and NTT endogenous black rice cultivars have rich phytochemical compounds with high nutritional value, and that their antioxidant and antidiabetic biological activities can promote a healthy life.

The purpose this research is to determine the significance of the Betangas tradition's values, meanings, and processions among the Sambas Malay population in West Kalimantan province. The examine method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive research type. The examine approach employed is qualitative using a descriptive study design. The Betangas tradition is generally carried out when there is a wedding celebration, especially in the Sambas area. The purpose of the Betangas tradition is being replaced by grooming equipment for the bride and groom when approaching the wedding. This is because Betangas have the goal of reducing excessive body odor and cleansing the body of both the bride and groom who will carry out the wedding and the special assumptions of the Sambas people. This study obtained results in the meaning of Betangas as a form of gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'alla for the Sambas Malay community, who are mostly Muslim and as a request for the two bride and groom to live a household life. While the function of the Betangas procession is to reduce sweating and cleanse the body's unpleasant odor caused by human sweat. Generally, the Betangas tradition is carried out for the bride and groom, but it is possible that anyone can carry out this tradition. The Betangas tradition is carried out from generation to generation and is still strong in the Sambas region in the Sambas Malay community as local wisdom that is still alive amidst the currents of globalization.

The COVID-19 outbreak has affected PT Perbankan in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the difference in Islamic and Conventional Banks' stock prices before COVID-19 and after COVID-19. The data used in this research is secondary data from quarterly stock price reports listed on the IDX. The results of the differential test using the Paired Sample T-test and Wilcoxon Rank Test show that there are differences in the share prices of Islamic Banks before COVID-19 and after COVID-19, and there are differences in the share prices of Conventional Banks before COVID-19 and after COVID-19. Researchers hope this research can add knowledge and insight for readers, and further researchers can add other factors or variables.

Giant bladder calculi are rare and long-term usage of cystostomy could cause stone formation. Due to the lack of evidence on giant bladder calculi and the long-term usage of cystostomy can cause bladder calculi formation, we provide a case study of a man with a neglected cystostomy with giant bladder calculi for 4 years. A fixed mass was discovered in the suprapubic region. Ultrasound examination revealed 4.1 × 5.5 cm bladder calculi and contracted left kidney. Bipolar voiding cystourethrography portrayed stricture in pars pendular and membranacea, uneven bladder wall, and 4.5 × 4.5 cm bladder calculi. The stone was extracted, and the bladder filling test revealed a small bladder capacity. Since the patient refused urethral reconstruction and bladder augmentation, he was discharged with another cystostomy catheter. Six-month follow-up revealed no forming stones. Neglected cystostomy catheter can cause giant bladder calculi. Prompt diagnosis and treatment should be made to manage this condition to reduce the likelihood of bladder cancer.

ABSTRACTAcid sulfate soils in tropical coastal rice areas contain high Fe levels, and excess ferrous (Fe2+) ions are released during the early growth stage in the wet season. In such environments, Fe toxicity can cause significant yield losses. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the seedling growth of diverse rice germplasm (from japonica, aus and indica groups) under high-Fe conditions in hydroponic culture and to elucidate the growth characteristics of Fe toxicity tolerant genotypes. We calculated an Fe toxicity response index (FTRI) as a selection criterion that reflects both the response of shoot biomass to high Fe and the amount of Fe-induced leaf bronzing damage: higher FTRI values indicate greater tolerance to high Fe levels. We first compared Fe levels to determine the appropriate conditions for genotype selection, and then screened 2- to 3-week-old seedlings grown for 2 more weeks in hydroponic solution containing 500 mg Fe2+ L−1. Sixteen genotypes were screened, and for five of them, the differences in FTRI corresponded with previously reported yield performance in high-Fe fields. We identified Taichung65 (temperate japonica) as a promising donor, as it showed little bronzing damage and high relative (stress/control) biomass under high-Fe conditions, resulting in a high FTRI. Plant nutrient analyses of Taichung65 suggested that maintenance of low Fe concentration and low total Fe content in shoots despite high Fe concentration in the rhizosphere, through prevention of either root Fe uptake or Fe translocation from the root to the shoot, should be an important mechanism of Fe toxicity tolerance.

Abstract Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a prevalent genetic blood disorder with a high global incidence rate. Individuals with SCD experience lifelong complications; one such recurrent complication is priapism. Given the unfavorable prognosis and the limited knowledge of patients regarding priapism, healthcare professionals need to identify factors that can aid in diagnosing priapism in SCD patients. Main body of the abstract A comprehensive literature search was conducted using four databases, namely MEDLINE, The Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar, following the PRISMA guidelines. The quality and risk of bias assessment were performed using the ROBINS-I tool (Risk Of Bias in Non-Randomized Studies of Interventions) according to guidelines by the Cochrane Collaboration. The literature search yielded a total of 4434 studies, out of which six studies met the eligibility criteria. Short conclusions The findings from the selected studies revealed that advancing age and a higher frequency of priapism episodes were significant predictors of priapism occurrence in SCD patients. These findings underscore the importance of early recognition and management of priapism in this patient population.

Design of cropping method and type of variety are one of the most important factors in increasing soybean productivity and the level of pest attack and predator populations. This study aims to determine the most effective planting method and variety types in an effort to increase soybean productivity in rainfed lowland areas in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The design used in this study was the split plot design, and the varieties (PU) used were as follows: (1) Detap-1, (2) Devon-1, and (3) Derap-1. However, the subplot (AP) was a planting method and three replicates: (1) farmer’s transplanting method (transplanting row: 20 cm × 20 cm), (2) method of transplanting double rows, and (3) method of transplanting three rows. The results showed that the highest number of branchesper plant was observed in the Legowo three planting method with the Detap-1 variety. The lowest level of leaf damage due to Spodoptera litura attack was observed in the Legowo double rows planting method with the Devon-1 variety (11.07%), and the highest level of leaf damage was observed in the jajar horn planting method (farmer’s method) with the Derap-1 variety (16.47%). The level of pod damage due to Etiella zinckenella attack was the lowest on Legowo three planting method on the Derap-1 variety (9.47%) and the highest on the Legowo double rows planting method on the Detap-1 variety (14.26%). The level of pod damage due to attack by pod-sucking pest Riptortus linearis was the lowest on Legowo three planting method on the (Derap-1) variety (8.02%) and the highest on the pod-sucking pest Riptortus linearis on the Devon-1 variety (13.43%). The length of the trichomes on soybean leaves was the highest on the Devon-1 variety (30.93%) and the lowest on Derap-1 (24.81). The highest number of trichomes on soybean leaves was on the Derap-1variety (57.67) and the lowest on the Devon-1 variety (32.20). The highest length of trichomes was on soybean pods on Detap-1 (29.11) and the lowest on Devon-1 (26.52), while the highest number of trichomes in soybean pods was on Devon-1 (222.47) and the lowest on Derap-1 (148.40). The highest seed yield was observed in Legowo three panting method with Derap-1 and Devon-1 varieties (2.02–2.08 t ha−1).

Thermoelectric nanoantennas have been extensively investigated due to their ability to directly convert infrared (IR) radiation into direct current without an additional rectification device. In this study, we introduce a thermoelectric nanoantenna geometry for maximum output voltage (Voc) and propose an optimal series array configuration with a finite number of antennas to enhance the Voc. A finite and open-ended SiO2 substrate, with a thickness of a quarter-effective wavelength at a frequency of 28.3 THz, is used to generate standing waves within the substrate. An array of antennas is then positioned optimally on the substrate to maximize the temperature difference (∆T) between hot and cold areas, thereby increasing the average Voc per antenna element. In numerical simulations, a linearly polarized incident wave with a power density of 1.42 W/cm2 is applied to the structure. The results show that a single antenna with the optimum geometry on a substrate measuring 35 µm × 35 µm generates a ∆T of 64.89 mK, corresponding to a Voc of 1.75 µV. Finally, a series array of 5 × 6 thermoelectric nanoantennas on a 150 µm × 75 µm substrate including measurement pads achieves an average ∆T of 49.60 mK with a total Voc of 40.18 µV, resulting in an average Voc of 1.34 µV per antenna element and a voltage responsivity (βv) of 0.77 V/W. This value, achieved solely by optimizing the antenna geometry and open-ended substrate, matches or exceeds the Voc and βv of approximately 1 µV and 0.66 V/W, respectively, from suspended thermoelectric antenna arrays over air cavities. Therefore, the proposed thermoelectric nanoantenna array device, characterized by high stability and ease of fabrication, is suitable for manufacturing massive nanoantenna arrays for high-output IR-DC energy harvesters.

Background The available evidence suggests that inflammatory responses, in both systemic and oral tissue, contribute to the pathology of COVID-19 disease. Hence, studies of inflammation biomarkers in oral fluids, such as saliva, might be useful to better specify COVID-19 features. Methods In the current study, we performed quantitative real-time PCR to measure salivary levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in saliva obtained from patients diagnosed with mild COVID-19, in a diabetic group (DG; n = 10) and a non-diabetic group (NDG; n = 13). All participants were diagnosed with periodontitis, while six participants with periodontitis but not diagnosed with COVID-19 were included as controls. Results We found increases in salivary total protein levels in both the DG and NDG compared to control patients. In both groups, salivary CRP and IL-6 levels were comparable. Additionally, the levels of salivary CRP were significantly correlated with total proteins, in which a strong and moderate positive correlation was found between DG and NDG, respectively. A linear positive correlation was also noted in the relationship between salivary IL-6 level and total proteins, but the correlation was not significant. Interestingly, the association between salivary CRP and IL-6 levels was positive. However, a moderately significant correlation was only found in COVID-19 patients with diabetes, through which the association was validated by a receiver operating curve. Conclusions These finding suggest that salivary CRP and IL-6 are particularly relevant as potential non-invasive biomarker for predicting diabetes risk in mild cases of COVID-19 accompanied with periodontitis.

Basil is a plant that can be cultivated in Psamment (coastal sandy soil). Basil requires nitrogen (N) and sulfur (S), so the N-S balance is needed to obtain optimal results. Psamment contains low colloid, causing nutrients to be barely bound and easily lost. Zeolite and biochar can be a solution. This study aimed to determine the composition and frequency of fertilization, as well as the use of soil amendment for basil growth. This research consisted of two interrelated studies arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design. The research was conducted in Bugel, Panjatan, Kulon Progo, and the analysis was performed at the Soil Department Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The first study consisted of two factors, namely Urea-ZA composition (0:0, 60:40, 70:30, 80:20, 90:10, and 100:0) and frequency of fertilization (every 1 and 2 weeks). The application of Urea-ZA (80:20) gave the best fresh-dry weight, N-S content, and N-S uptake of basil, and this result was used as the reference for the second study. The second study consisted of two factors, namely Urea-ZA fertilizer doses (50%, 75%, and 100%), and types and doses of soil amendment (without amendment, zeolite 7.5 t/ha, zeolite 15 t/ha; biochar 7.5 t/ha, and biochar 15 t/ha). It can be concluded that soil amendments application improved the chemical properties of psamment, fresh-dry weight, N-S content, and N-S uptake of basil. Furthermore, biochar and zeolite could increase the effectiveness of fertilization, so the dose of Urea-ZA fertilizer could be reduced until 50%.

Purpose: There is a growing concern regarding the impact of SARS-CoV-2 infection on the male reproductive tract due to ACE2 receptor expression, however, its impact remains unclear. We performed this review to evaluate whether SARS-CoV-2 infection affects the male reproductive system. Materials and Methods: We conducted a search in the Embase, Scopus, and MEDLINE databases, adhering to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) guideline. Eligible studies comprised articles reporting viral RNA presence in semen, sperm parameters, and orchitis or orchiepididymitis occurrence in SARS-CoV-2 patients. Observational studies’ quality was determined using the Newcastle–Ottawa Scale (NOS). Case reports were assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI)’s checklist. Results: A total of 32 relevant articles were included. Viral RNA was found in 7% of infected patients’ semen (95% CI, -0.01 to 0.15) from 3 studies. There were also only 7% of patients with orchitis or orchiepididymitis clinical manifestations (95% CI, 0.05–0.10). The semen volume and concentration were 2.34 mL (95% CI, 1.87–2.81) and 51.73 million/mL (95% CI, 31.60–71.85). The progressive and total motility percentages were 36.11% (95% CI, 28.87–43.35) and 43.07% (95% CI, 28.57–57.57), respectively. The morphology was 6.03% (95% CI, -1.05 to 13.10). Music practice assessment training at the Bengkayang Regency Arts and Culture Subject Teachers' Meeting is important considering the lack of development of assessments specifically in arts and culture learning. Objectivity when assessing a student's skill in practicing music needs to be evaluated. This form of evaluation can be done through an assessment of music practice. The PKM implementation method has stages, namely the preparation stage by coordinating with partners, the implementation stage conveying assessment material along with discussions and questions and answers, and the evaluation stage adjusting the results of activities in the form of rubrics that are worked on by participants with the conditions and situations of partner schools. The results obtained in this PKM are that participants have an objective view of the assessment of music practice and have an assessment rubric in determining the score of each music practice assessment criterion. With evaluation, it will continue to develop the assessment of the music. The Bandung City Government strives to create a comfortable city space for its citizens. Preliminary studies show that not all city residents use city parks. This study aims to explore the perception of city residents about the safety of public spaces in Bandung City. The research was conducted by combining quantitative methods using questionnaires with qualitative methods through observation and documentation of places that were considered the safest and least safe from the results of the questionnaire. The results showed that places that are considered safe have an excellent level of neatness and cleanliness, equipped with street and garden furniture devices, large pedestrian areas, and attractive to be photo spots. Places that are perceived as unsafe are places that lack clear use and function, have a poor level of service, and are in areas that have low visibility. Recommendations for the redesign of unsafe places are presented by integrating built environment principles that can tackle crime.

Samples were obtained from AMI patients who underwent PCI between February 2022 and March 2022 at the Intensive Cardiovascular Care Unit. Cystatin C levels were measured before PCI. MACE were observed within 6 months. Comparisons between normally distributed continuous data were performed using the t-test; Mann–Whitney test was used for non-normally distributed data. Categorical data were compared using the chi-squared test. The cut-off point of cystatin C levels to predict MACE was analyzed using Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC).Results: The participants were 40 AMI patients, consisting of 32 patients (80%) with AMI-EST and eight patients (20%) diagnosed with AMI-NEST, who were evaluated for the occurrence of MACE within 6 months after PCI. Ten patients (25%) developed MACE during follow-up [(MACE (+)], and the rest were in the MACE (-) group. Cystatin C levels were significantly higher in the MACE (+) group (p=0.021). ROC analysis revealed a cystatin C level of 1.21 mg/dL; cystatin C > 1.21 is associated with MACE risk, showing a significant relationship with the odds ratio value reaching 26.00, with 95% CI (3.99– 169.24).Conclusion: Cystatin C level is an independent predictor of MACE in patients with AMI without cardiogenic shock or renal impairment after PCI.Keywords: cystatin C, acute myocardial infarction, coronary intervention, cardiovascular events

Islamic banking has developed significantly over the past four decades and today has a global reach. One of the factors hindering Islamic banking in the coming decades is in the realm of financial technology (known as Fintech). Traditional financial methods will be abandoned in the digital age. This study will discuss the topic of financial innovation and technology in Islamic finance, as well as its Islamic parameters. This study employs qualitative secondary techniques using inductive methods to investigate primary data and on the topic, as well as descriptive methods to characterize the growth of fintech in the operations and practices of the Islamic banking industry. Based on the results of the study in this study, all innovations in Islamic finance need to be appreciated and can be seen as benefits (maslahah) for users (customers) and the financial industry as a whole. The results of this study also emphasize the relationship between fintech and shariah compliance which then recommends putting in place a comprehensive shariah governance framework to ensure that fintech operations are fully shariah compliant. Furthermore, authorities and regulators should adopt shariah standards that specifically identify shariah identifications that are important to fintechs.

Agroforestry is often seen as a sustainable land-use system for agricultural production providing ecosystem services. Intercropping with food crops leads to equal or higher productivity than monoculture and results in food production for industry and subsistence. Low rubber price and low labor productivity in smallholdings have led to a dramatic conversion of rubber plantations to more profitable crops. The literature analysis performed in this paper aimed at better understanding the ins and outs that could make rubber-based agroforestry more attractive for farmers. A comprehensive search of references was conducted in March 2023 using several international databases and search engines. A Zotero library was set up consisting of 415 scientific references. Each reference was carefully read and tagged in several categories: cropping system, country, main tree species, intercrop type, intercrop product, level of product use, discipline of the study, research topic, and intercrop species. Of the 232 journal articles, 141 studies were carried out on rubber agroforestry. Since 2011, the number of studies per year has increased. Studies on rubber-based agroforestry systems are performed in most rubber-producing countries, in particular in Indonesia, Thailand, China, and Brazil. These studies focus more or less equally on perennials (forest species and fruit trees), annual intercrops, and mixed plantations. Of the 47 annual crops associated with rubber in the literature, 20 studies dealt with rice, maize, banana, and cassava. Agronomy is the main discipline in the literature followed by socio-economy and then ecology. Only four papers are devoted to plant physiology and breeding. The Discussion Section has attempted to analyze the evolution of rubber agroforestry research, progress in the selection of food crop varieties adapted to agroforestry systems, and to draw some recommendations for rubber-based agroforestry systems associated with food crops.

It has been suggested that a corona virus infection is linked to chronic periodontitis (COVID-19). Our objectives were to look at the expression of angiotensin-converting enzyme-2 (ACE2) in periodontal compartments containing periodontal infections to determine if ACE2 is directly or indirectly responsible for the inflammation in periodontal tissues getting worse. In this study, six non-COVID-19 periodontitis patients without diabetes served as controls, and 23 hospitalized periodontitis patients were admitted with PCR-confirmed COVID-19 with diabetes mellitus (Group 1/G1, n = 10), and without diabetes (Group 2/G2, n = 13). We evaluated the mRNA expression of ACE2, IL-6, IL-8, complement C3, and LL-37, as well as the relative proportion of Porphyromonas gingivalis, Fusobacterium nucleatum, and Veillonella parvula to represent the dysbiosis condition in periodontal microenvironment using subgingival plaque and gingival crevicular fluids (GCF) samples and quantitative real time PCR (qPCR). The development in the city has caused urban areas to experience significant growth due to increased activity. One of the visible changes is the change in the use of vegetated land for built-up land. The research location is in a peri-urban area of Depok and Mlati subdistrict, Sleman Regency. This research analyzed land use conversion in 2015-2020 and modeled land change predictions for the next 20 years (2025-2045) using Artificial Neural Network - Cellular Automata (ANN-CA). The ANN method used multiple output neurons to determine the probability of land use transition. CA was used to model land use change by applying transition probabilities. The source of land use data came from extracting SPOT images, and then the modeling process used QGIS Desktop 2.18.11 on the MOLUSCE plugin. The results showed that the peri-urban area experienced a decrease in agricultural and livestock land by 152.62 ha (2.52%) while building land increased by 148.74 ha (2.46%). The 2025-2045 land use conversion prediction shows that the reduction in agricultural land, plantations, and livestock will continue, and the land area for buildings and roads will increase.

Cowpea is considered an important food in the Southwest Maluku (SWM) District with high morphogenetic diversity. However, information on nutrition and metabolite profiles of the cowpea from SWM has been unrevealed for a new food ingredient for local people of SWM. The laboratory work was conducted descriptively to reveal the nutrient composition of the metabolite profile of some local cowpeas from SWM, Indonesia using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography -Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) methods. Key chemical profiles of amino acids, fatty acids, flavonoids, phenolic acids, and other secondary metabolites in cowpeas were analyzed using PCA. The results showed that there were fifteen amino acids, 35 fatty acids, and 52 secondary metabolites identified. The highest amino acid content found in all varieties was glutamic acid at 4.32 ± 0.31%. The highest fatty acid content was identified as arachidic acid at 15.83 ± 3.94%. The plant sterol identified in all varieties was stigmasterol with an average of 3.05 ± 0.43%. The KM7 variety had the highest amino acid in contrast to the KM6 variety. The highest stigmasterol, total flavonoids, and total phenolic content were found in the KM3 variety. These results reveal that local cowpeas have the potential for nutritional and functional food development.

This study describes the Instagram account @Nge.review as one of the bookstagram accounts. Bookstagrammers are Instagram users who are obsessed with physical books where the object is the object in every upload on Instagram. Like other bookstagram accounts, each of these accounts has tens of thousands of followers and hundreds of uploads and, each upload has tens of thousands of likes. As one of the bookstagrammers, the owner and user here has differences with other bookstagram account users in the form of uploaded photos, the contents of the reviewed book reviews and the contents of the Instagram features contained in the account. The researcher aims to find the self-concept and character behind the habits that are shown through the contents of the account. This study uses a qualitative approach. On data search using interview techniques, observation and research documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that the user as well as the owner of the @Nge.review Instagram account has a smart and imaginative self. The characters found in the user’s account that is, have an open personality. Introduction: Tamsulosin is the most commonly used medical expulsive therapy (MET). However, it does not alleviate ureteral colic. It is important to develop MET that can reduce ureteral colic while maintaining a high stone clearance rate. Silodosin is an α1A adrenoceptor with high affinity and selectivity for the distal ureter, which may reduce ureteral colic and enable stone expulsion for distal ureteral stones. Therefore, we performed this systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy of silodosin as MET and its role in reducing ureteral colic among patients with distal ureteral stones. Materials and Methods: This research was conducted in accordance with the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Review and Intervention, in adherence with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses, and was registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO CRD42021249003). A comprehensive literature search was performed in several databases including Medline, EMBASE, and Scopus up to July 2021 for randomized trials comparing silodosin with placebo for MET. RevMan 5.4 was used for data analysis. Results: A total of six randomized controlled trials were included in this analysis with a total of 907 patients. Our analysis revealed that the patients who received silodosin had significantly higher stone expulsion rate (SER) (odds ratio [OR] 3.33, 95% confidence interval [CI] 2.34, 4.76, P < 0.01), significantly shorter stone expulsion time (SET) (mean difference −3.79, 95% CI −4.51, −3.06, P < 0.01), and lower analgesic use (OR 0.4, 95% CI 0.23, 0.69, P < 0.01) compared to the group receiving placebo. Conclusion: Silodosin showed significantly higher SER, lower SET and lower analgesic use in patients with distal ureteral stones as compared to a placebo.

Background: /Purposes: Studies have indicated that salivary molecules from patients with periodontitis and diabetes are confounded with pathological conditions associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection. The study aimed to address whether the abundance of Porphyromonas gingivalis which causes periodontitis, differed compared with that of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (used as control) and to analyze the correlation of periodontitis with the expression levels of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 receptor (ACE2) and periodontitis inflammatory markers (TLR-2/TLR-4, TNFα, and miR-155). Materials and Methods: A saliva sample (5 mL) was obtained from 23 hospitalized patients with COVID-19, categorized into two groups: diabetic (G1, n = 10) and non-diabetic (G2, n = 13). Saliva from patients with periodontitis without diabetes and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19; n = 6) were included as control. The objectives of this study are: (1) to develop a Better Teaching and Learning model that can foster character, increase student interest, activity, and learning outcomes in teaching exercises, and determine the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the Better Teaching and Learning model. This research is a research development (RD). The research was carried out in three stages: (1) Theoretical exploration and expert research on the Better Teaching and Learning model. (2) Empirical test to empirically validate the Better Teaching and Learning model. (3) The implementation stage to determine the effectiveness and practicality of the Better Teaching and Learning model. The results showed that the Better Teaching and Learning model was developed to integrate the basic teaching skills and was presented in eight stages of teaching skills. This model is declared valid by the validator and supported by empirically validated results through field trials. This model has also been tested for its effectiveness in fostering character and increasing student interest, activity, and cognitive learning outcomes. The practice of implementing the Better Teaching and Learning model has also been tested through observations of the ability of prospective teachers in classroom learning, learning responses to the ease with which prospective teachers use the Better Teaching and Learning model, and student acceptance responses to the Better Teaching and Learning model applied by a pre-service teacher. The final result shows that the Better Teaching and learning model developed has met the criteria of validity, effectiveness, and practice.

Improving the tolerance of crop species to abiotic stresses that limit plant growth and productivity is essential for mitigating the emerging problems of global warming. In this context, imaged data analysis represents an effective method in the 4.0 technology era, where this method has the non-destructive and recursive characterization of plant phenotypic traits as selection criteria. So, the plant breeders are helped in the development of adapted and climate-resilient crop varieties. Although image-based phenotyping has recently resulted in remarkable improvements for identifying the crop status under a range of growing conditions, the topic of its application for assessing the plant behavioral responses to abiotic stressors has not yet been extensively reviewed. For such a purpose, bibliometric analysis is an ideal analytical concept to analyze the evolution and interplay of image-based phenotyping to abiotic stresses by objectively reviewing the literature in light of existing database. Bibliometricy, a bibliometric analysis was applied using a systematic methodology which involved data mining, mining data improvement and analysis, and manuscript construction. The obtained results indicate that there are 554 documents related to image-based phenotyping to abiotic stress until 5 January 2023. All document showed the future development trends of image-based phenotyping will be mainly centered in the United States, European continent and China. The keywords analysis major focus to the application of 4.0 technology and machine learning in plant breeding, especially to create the tolerant variety under abiotic stresses. Drought and saline become an abiotic stress often using image-based phenotyping. Besides that, the rice, wheat and maize as the main commodities in this topic. In conclusion, the present work provides information on resolutive interactions in developing image-based phenotyping to abiotic stress, especially optimizing high-throughput sensors in image-based phenotyping for the future development.

INTRODUCTION: The World Health Organization announced the COVID-19 outbreak as a global pandemic on March 11, 2020. Despite the fact that orthopaedic departments are not considered first-line department in the war against pandemic, the pandemic has had a big effect on orthopaedic services. A few studies have found the pandemic effect on the orthopaedics field, but none have found the effect of a one- year pandemic, especially in Indonesia. This study aimed to know the effect of one-year COVID-19 on trauma of lower extremity at Orthopaedic Service in Prof Soeharso Top Referral Orthopaedic Hospital, Indonesia MATERIALS AND METHODS: It is a cross-sectional study. The study compared the population group during one year of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia to the same period one year before. This study was conducted in Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Orthopaedic Hospital, Surakarta, Indonesia from March 2019-February 2021. The subjects were patients of lower extremity trauma both surgical procedure and outpatient visit. Patients recorded on other orthopaedic service support installations like radiology, laboratory, or physiotherapy were excluded. RESULTS: There was a significant reduction (54.9%) in total trauma of lower extremities patients in Prof Dr R Soeharso Orthopaedic Hospital, Surakarta, from 2146 (pre-COVID- 19) to 968 (during COVID-19) in the March 2019-February 2021 period. Rice is the major food crop in Indonesia, and its consumption is still considerably high, indicating that daily nutrient uptake relies on its grain. An unbalanced diet leads to some health problems in Indonesia, such as stunting, anemia, and diabetes. Increasing the nutritional value of rice through crop improvement is an important strategy for reducing the prevalence of malnutrition. Improvement of the nutritional qualities of rice varieties has been achieved by developing antioxidant-rich pigmented rice, micronutrient-rich rice, and low glycemic index (GI) rice varieties. Pigmented rice varieties have been released for farmer adoption in Indonesia, either with red or black aleurone. Improvement of the micronutrient content of rice through a cross-breeding approach has been successful for zinc. High-zinc rice varieties for different rice ecosystems, including irrigated lowland, upland, and swampy areas, have been developed and have the potential to be used for biofortification to reduce stunting prevalence in the country. More efforts to improve other important micronutrients such as iron and provitamin A are still needed by using a genetic engineering approach. While food diversification is the best way to overcome malnutrition, rice biofortification through the improvement of the nutritional quality of rice grain has the potential to be a sustainable approach to supplying important nutrition for people who have limited access to a diverse diet. Acceleration of the adoption of healthier rice varieties by farmers is key to getting the maximum benefit from the technologies.

Omnichannel in restaurants provides ordering methods through various integrated channels. Customers can place orders using an online platform without waiting for a waiter from a restaurant to help them. Through this method, customers can order food and choose a payment method that affects the customer experience. The research aims to see the effect of omnichannel implementation on consumer behavior in restaurants. The research will examine the relationship between omnichannel implementation and three variables, namely service quality, perceived value, and customer satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative with SEM used to see the relationship between the variables of the study. With this research, it is hoped that knowledge about omnichannel can be better understood academically and practically and that omnichannel can be applied optimally so that it can provide benefits for both business and customers. From the research conducted, it was found that omnichannel influences service quality, perceived value, and customer satisfaction both directly and indirectly. Good omnichannel implementation in restaurants is needed to support the improvement of services that can be offered by restaurants to customers. Self-inserted urinary bladder foreign bodies for sexual gratification generate a significant challenge for physicians due to its difficult diagnosis and management. Most patients were late to be admitted due to embarrassment leading to serious short-term and long-term complications. We report a 34-year-old male with an earphone wire as a urinary bladder foreign body. The findings in the patient were compared with the currently published reports through a comprehensive literature review to evaluate the current strategy for diagnosis and management for self-inserted genitourinary foreign bodies to achieve sexual pleasure.

As one of the most commonly injured organs in the genitourinary system during trauma, a thorough understanding of pediatric renal trauma's diagnosis and management is essential for physicians. The improvement of imaging modalities in recent years has shifted most treatments to a conservative approach. Non-operative management could reduce the risk of nephrectomy while increasing renal salvage rate. However, high-grade pediatric renal injury management remains controversial. We aimed to report two children with high-grade renal trauma, diagnosed using computed tomography and retrograde pyelography studies, undergoing different approaches. The first patient underwent a nephrectomy, whereas the second patient underwent non-operative management.

Rapid globalization has slowly eroded the survival of the Baliatn ritual of the Dayak Kanayatn. Nowadays, the locals only rarely perform this ritual which is a manifestation of their culture. This study describes the Baliatn ritual pointing out it is pregnant with the meaningful philosophy of the ancestors. This tradition sets out the relationship between the people and nature; an example of gratitude and spirituality in this modern era. It also discusses the importance of cultural conceptualization through philosophy, art, and spirituality. Importantly, the Baliatn is an expression of the Dayak Kanayatn idea of how to live and appreciate life. They believe their closeness to nature allows them to create a harmonious relationship with God. This culture is founded on ancestral traditions, including literature, art, music, and incantations. The writers claim that a good description of the Baliatn is essential because it is nearly extinct. They are continuing their research on the Baliatn ritual.

An ejaculatory duct cyst is a rare and challenging problem for a urologist. Diagnosing these cases may be difficult as prior case reports showed that the condition has various clinical presentations from asymptomatic to major complications, such as recurrent urinary tract infections and infertility. We aimed to report a 26-year-old married man with seemingly unknown infertility, which was confirmed to be due to an ejaculatory duct cyst obstructing both ejaculatory ducts.

A foreign body of the urinary bladder can be caused by several factors. Several patients deliberately insert foreign bodies via the urethra due to psychiatric issues to achieve sexual pleasure. Self-inserted urinary bladder foreign bodies remain a significant challenge in the urology field regarding diagnosis and management as patients may be late in seeking medical assistance due to guilt and embarrassment. We aimed to report a 37-year-old man who inserted a two-meter nylon string into his urethra for sexual gratification.

This study aims to determine the performance of drip irrigation technology as compared to conventional farmer’s practice on rice growth and yield, grain quality, and water consumption. The research was carried out at the Sukamandi Experimental Station, Subang, West Java in July - October 2019. The test was arranged by a nested randomized block design with 5 replications. The main plot was water management with 2 levels: (1) Drip Irrigation Technology (DIT) and (2) Conventional Farmer’s Practice (CFP) (flooded condition) as a comparation. Subplot was varieties with 4 levels: two hybrid rice (1) Hipa 8 and (2) Hipa 18, upland rice (3) Inpago 11, and irrigated inbred rice (4) Inpari 42. The result showed that yield of DIT not significantly different to CFP with higher number of tillers per m2. However, it was lower for plant height, tillering ability, grain filling, 1000 grains weight, transpiration rate, assimilation rate and stomatal conductance. For grain quality determination, DIT gave an increase in the average of grain density and impurities, but decreased in the average percentage of chalky and immature grains. In Hipa 18, DIT was able to produce a higher percentage of head rice. DIT only consumed 3864 m3/ha/season water irrigation compared with average water consumption in Sukamandi Field Station which range of 7460-8740 m3/ha/season.

Most pleural masses are metastatic tumors from other locations; however, some tumors arise primarily from the pleura, albeit rare. Both primary and metastatic pleural tumors may present similar radiological features, which could lead to a misdiagnosis. We aimed to report a fifty-one-year-old Indonesian male with a lung adenocarcinoma mimicking a primary pleural tumor.

Objective: Bleeding is one of the most common complications of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). Several previous studies reported that administering dutasteride before surgery could reduce perioperative bleeding. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of preoperative dutasteride treatment in benign prostatic hyperplasia patients undergoing TURP by performing a meta-analysis of relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Methods: A comprehensive literature search was performed through the electronic databases including Medline, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, and ClinicalTrial.gov in October 2020. RCTs evaluating the role of dutasteride for TURP were screened using the eligibility criteria and the quality of RCTs was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool. The heterogeneity was assessed using I2 statistic. The measured outcomes were hemoglobin (Hb) levels, perioperative blood loss, blood transfusion, microvessel density (MVD), and operation time. Data were pooled as mean difference (MD) and odds ratio (OR). Results: A total of 11 RCTs consisting of 627 samples from the treatment group and 615 samples from the placebo group were analyzed. Introduction: Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) is regarded as the current gold standard surgical intervention for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). However, this procedure is associated with significant chances of intraoperative and postoperative bleeding. Several studies have reported the role of tranexamic acid in prostatic surgeries, but, its role in TURP is still unclear. This review aims to evaluate the role of tranexamic acid in reducing the blood loss during TURP. Materials and Methods: A systematic search was performed on Medline, Scopus, Embase, and Cochrane, up to December 2021. Relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating the role of tranexamic acid in TURP were screened using our predefined eligibility criteria. Data were expressed as odds ratio (OR) or mean difference (MD) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). All analyses were performed using RevMan 5.4 (Cochrane Collaboration, UK). Results: Six trials were included in this meta-analysis, comprising of 582 patients with BPH who underwent TURP. The meta-analysis revealed an insignificant difference in the rate of blood transfusion (OR 0.68, 95% CI 0.34, 1.34, P = 0.27) but, a significantly lower amount of blood loss and a lower reduction in the hemoglobin (Hb) levels in the patients receiving tranexamic acid as compared to the control group (MD − 127.03, 95% CI − 233.11, −20.95, P = 0.02; MD − 0.53, 95% CI − 0.84, −0.22, P < 0.01; respectively). Also, the operative time (P = 0.12) and the length of hospitalization (P = 0.59) were similar between the two groups. Conclusion: The administration of tranexamic acid was not found to be effective in reducing the need for blood transfusion, the operative time, and the length of hospitalization during the TURP. However, it could reduce the amount of blood loss and the fall in the Hb levels.
