The International Linear Collider (ILC) is on the table now as a new global energy-frontier accelerator laboratory taking data in the 2030s. The ILC addresses key questions for our current understanding of particle physics. It is based on a proven accelerator technology. Its experiments will challenge the Standard Model of particle physics and will provide a new window to look beyond it. This document brings the story of the ILC up to date, emphasizing its strong physics motivation, its readiness for construction, and the opportunity it presents to the US and the global particle physics community., Comment: 356 pages, Large pdf file (40 MB) submitted to Snowmass 2021; v2 references to Snowmass contributions added, additional authors; v3 references added, some updates, additional authors

DECOMPOSITION method ,INTEGRALS - Abstract
Four 3-loop two-point functions are studied analytically and numerically using a simplified sector decomposition method. The coefficients of the ultraviolet divergent part are determined analytically, and those of the finite part are computed numerically. The energy dependence of the integrals is shown explicitly, and a discussion of its behavior is presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology - Abstract
Higher order corrections in perturbative quantum field theory are required for precise theoretical analysis to investigate new physics beyond the Standard Model. This indicates that we need to evaluate Feynman loop diagram with multi-loop integral which may require multi-precision calculation. We developed a dedicated accelerator system for multi-precision calculation (GRAPE9-MPX). We present performance results of our system for the case of Feynman two-loop box and three-loop selfenergy diagrams with multi-precision., Comment: 6 pages, 8 figures, 1 table; submitted to the proceedings of the 16th International workshop on Advanced Computing and Analysis Techniques in physics research (ACAT 2014), Prague

This paper describes applications of extrapolation for the computation of coefficients in an expansion of infrared divergent integrals. An extrapolation procedure is performed with respect to a parameter introduced by dimensional regularization. While this treats typical IR singularities at the boundaries of the integration domain, special care needs to be taken in cases where the integrand is singular in the interior of the domain as well as on the boundaries. A double extrapolation is devised for a class of massless vertex integrals. Quadruple precision results are presented, demonstrating high accuracy. The computations are supported by the use of general adaptive integration programs from the QUADPACK package, in iterated integrations with highly singular integrand functions., Comment: 11 pages, 1 figure, 6 tables, Talk given at 3rd Computational Particle Physics Workshop CPP2010, September 23-25, 2010, KEK Japan

With an integrated software package {\tt GRACE}, it is possible to generate Feynman diagrams, calculate the total cross section and generate physics events automatically. We outline the hybrid method of parallel computation of the multi-dimensional integration of {\tt GRACE}. We used {\tt MPI} (Message Passing Interface) as the parallel library and, to improve the performance we embedded the mechanism of the dynamic load balancing. Physics ,QC1-999 - Abstract
This work aims to provide KEK general-purpose network to support various research activities in the fields of high-energy physics, material physics, and accelerator physics. Since the end of the 20th century, on a daily basis, networks experience cyber-attacks and the methods of attack have rapidly evolved to become more sophisticated over the years. Security measures have been developed to mitigate the effects of cyber-attacks. While security measures may improve safety, restrictions might reduce usability. Therefore, we must keep a balance between safety and usability of the network for a smooth running of research activities. Herein, we present our long-term experience with keeping a balance between safety and usability in KEK research activities. The key points are reasonably ensuring traceability and security management. We have been using security devices, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management systems, to achieve a balance between safety and usability. Also, we present activities of the computer security incident response team (CSIRT) and collaborative activities among research organizations.

- Abstract
, The authentication System Group of J-PARC Information System Group carried out the feasibility study about PKI authentication method that used IC card. Its purpose was that we validated its practical utility to choose an authentication method to adjust a security level desired at the information system of J-PARC. As a target of the feasibility studies, we chose following four validation items. (1) "The EAP-TLS wireless LAN authentication method" (2) "The Web-SSL client authentication method when accessed via SSL-VPN device" (3) "The PKI authentication method that used IC card stored the certificate which issued by NAREGI-CA software. (4) "The PKI authentication method that used Dual card type FeliCa". We established validation point for each validation item, and carried out it. So, we got the results and useful information. This report is that we organized a validation procedure, result and knowledge that we got by feasibility studies., 著者所属: 日本原子力研究開発機構(JAEA), JAEA-Data/Code 2009-004

- Abstract
Loop integrals occur in higher order perturbation calculations for the cross section of particle interactions in high energy physics. In previous work we introduced a numerical extrapolation method to handle a class of Feynman loop diagrams where the integrand shows a singular behavior on a hypersurface which may intersect the domain of integration. The integral is considered in the limit as a parameter in the integrand tends to zero. Under certain conditions, the extrapolation process achieves convergence acceleration to the limit. In order to handle massless cases, we apply a dimensional regularization technique to extract infrared divergences from the integral. We illustrate the combined technique using a scalar one-loop sample integral. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We present a Feynman graph selection tool grcsel, which is an interpreter written in C language. In the framework of GRACE, it enables us to get a subset of Feynman graphs according to given conditions. © 2001 American Institute of Physics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The LSCP workshop focuses on symbolic and numerical methods and simulations, algorithms and tools (software and hardware) for developing and running large-scale computations in physical sciences. Special attention goes to parallelism, scalability and high numerical precision. System architectures are also of interest as long as they are supporting physics-related calculations, such as: massively parallel systems, GPUs, many-integrated-cores, distributed (cluster, grid/cloud) computing, and hybrid systems. Topics this year are from theoretical physics (high energy physics and lattice gauge theory/QCD). The effects of transformations in obtaining numerical results for Feynman loop integrals, and the deployment of a novel architecture to achieve large computational power with low electric power consumption are presented.
