Stool samples were cultured for C. perfringens, and the toxin genes were detected by PCR. The available clinical data of 112 patients were analyzed to study the clinical features of various isolates. Multi-locus sequence typing (MLST) was performed to assess phylogenetic relationship between different isolates.Results: A total of 153 (13.8%) isolates were obtained from patients’ stools. This study aimed to determine the clinical risk factors for CRKP BSIs and the outcomes of CRKP BSIs.Patients and Methods: We performed a case-control study of 239 patients with K. pneumoniae BSIs who were treated at Henan Provincial People’s Hospital between July 2017 and July 2018. The cases (n=98, 41%) had CRKP BSIs, and the controls (n=141, 59%) had non-carbapenem-resistant K. pneumoniae (non-CRKP) BSIs. Antimicrobial sensitivity was determined using automated broth microdilution and an agar disk diffusion method. Data were obtained from clinical and laboratory records. Further understanding the mechanisms involved in activating β-catenin/TCF signaling would benefit the treatment of HCC.Method and results: Here, it was found that NOP7 was a binding partner of β-catenin. NOP7 strengthened the interaction between β-catenin and TCF4, which led to the activation of β-catenin/TCF signaling. The upregulation of NOP7 in HCC promoted the growth (in both liquid culture and soft agar) and migration of HCC cancer cells.Conclusion: Taken together, we have demonstrated the oncogenic functions of NOP7 in HCC, suggesting that targeting NOP7 would benefit the treatment of HCC.
