Painted during the Yuan Dynasty, Taoist Celestial Beings Worshiping is a Taoist propaganda painting. It is one of the largest surviving ancient murals worldwide, featuring a variety of images of these beings dressed in costumes that vividly illustrate the blend of religious and artistic values in Chinese culture. To record and present the mural more intuitively and improve the study of Taoist Celestial Beings Worshiping, this article takes the example of five goddesses centered Queen Mother of the West in the mural and analyzes the styles, structures, colors, and patterns of the costumes from the perspective of costume engineering. Human models are established and the costumes at multiple levels are reconstruction by means of 3D virtual simulation technology. The display images are accompanied by QR codes, which can be scanned to view the 3D model. Finally, the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to comprehensively evaluate the reconstruction effect of clothing, and the result was “good.” The resulting digital figure can realize the “revitalization of cultural relics” and provides a new perspective for the digital exhibition of murals, which is conducive to the development of digital tourism and promotes the development of traditional culture.

In the 1980s, both Pakistan and China were in a critical period of economic reform. Load-controlled cyclic three-point bending tests were conducted on a 316LN austenitic stainless steel at temperatures ranging from 20 to 450 °C. A fair method based on the concept of equivalent maximum nominal stress (MNS) was proposed to quantitatively characterize the temperature-dependent bending ratcheting behavior of the steel. The equivalent MNS was determined by ensuring consistent residual deflections after the first bending cycle at varied temperatures. Two loading paths, namely simple cycling and dwelling-cycling, were employed under the equivalent MNS. Under the simple cycling path, the ratcheting behavior of the steel tends to shakedown as temperature rises. Under the simple cycling path where a dwelling was introduced at the maximum loading, the ratcheting potential of the steel appears to be exhausted at relatively low temperatures. These facts are presumably attributed to the loss of viscosity induced by the dynamic strain aging effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Single crystals of two new terbium oxyborates Ba 4 BiTbO(BO 3 ) 4 and Ba 1.54 Sr 2.46 BiTbO(BO 3 ) 4 were obtained by the high-temperature solution method. They crystallize in the hexagonal P 6 3 / mmc group ( Z = 2) with lattice parameters of a = 5.41865(9) Å, c = 26.3535(5) Å, V = 670.12(3) Å 3 and a = 5.36534(19) Å, c = 26.0661(10) Å, V = 649.83(5) Å 3 , respectively. Their crystal structures feature two kinds of layers: [Tb(BO 3 ) 2 ] n 3 n - formed by corner-sharing TbO 6 octahedra and BO 3 triangles, as well as [Bi(BO 3 ) 2 O] n 5 n - consisting of Bi 2 O 13 dimers and BO 3 groups, with alkali-earth cations sitting inside and between the layers. In addition, solid solutions of Ba 4 BiTb 1- x Eu x O(BO 3 ) 4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.2) were prepared via the solid-state reaction method. The obtained products were characterized by powder XRD, SEM, IR/Raman, XPS, DRS, and luminescence spectroscopy. It was found that as the Eu 3+ doped content varies from x = 0 to 0.2, the emission color of the Ba 4 BiTb 1- x Eu x O(BO 3 ) 4 phosphors can be adjusted from cyan to near-white and then to orange-red or from green to orange and then to red under the excitation of 349 and 377 nm, respectively. Furthermore, the emission intensities and chromaticity coordinates were found to be sensitive to the temperature for the phosphor Ba 4 BiTb 0.999 Eu 0.001 O(BO 3 ) 4 upon 377 nm excitation.
