Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) is extremely unstable and can easily degrade at room temperature. The experts agreed that the samples should be transported in an ice bath. If it cannot be detected immediately, the plasma should be separated and frozen, which is difficult to carry out in routine practice. This study was performed to explore the preanalytical factors that influence the stability of adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) measurements.

In recent years, an increasing number of English teachers have recognized the importance of reading and writing skills. Traditional English teaching methods often overlook the essential link between these skills, which hinders the improvement of students’ overall English proficiency. This paper introduces an adaptive Huber growth curve model to represent cognitive abilities in English reading. It develops an English reading ability detection model using a function-based approach. The model involves word feature extraction, fine-grained learning, and establishing information channels. These processes collectively contribute to a sequence annotation model that not only identifies but also automatically corrects errors in English writing samples. This facilitates integrated intelligent teaching of reading and writing skills. Analysis of English reading and writing capabilities among students at various colleges and universities reveals that the most notable improvement is in students’ critical thinking abilities during English reading, with most scores ranging between 3.5 and 4 and a total of 52 students participating. The difference in writing scores of the subject classes was 1.4186, of which the T value was 3.7855, the DF value was 112.3, and the P value was 0.000, which was significant, and the magnitude of the English writing scores of the subject class A was greater than that of the class B, which indicated that the integration of literacy and writing effectively improved the overall writing skills of the students.

The significant influence of green human resource management (GHRM) on a firm's environmental performance (EP) has garnered considerable attention in recent literature. Research on GHRM has primarily focused on its impact on employee green behavior or outputs, neglecting its role as an organizational-level resource in facilitating the implementation of environmental strategy (ES). Additionally, limited attention has been paid to the influence of green consciousness (GC) of top managers on this process. Drawing on the resource-based view and upper echelons theory, this study employed a moderated mediation model to explore the relationships among ES, GHRM and GC of top managers. Data were collected from questionnaire responses of 476 senior executives from Chinese warehousing or logistics firms, gathered in three phases using a time-lagged approach. Results indicated that GHRM partially mediates the relationship between ES and EP. Additionally, it was found that GC of top managers moderates the relationship between ES and GHRM, acting as a boundary condition for the mediating effect of GHRM on EP. Background: Effective labor pain management is crucial for parturient well-being, as it can improve the delivery experience of pregnant women and reduce anxiety and tension. This systematic review and network meta-analysis compared the efficacy and safety of various analgesics, classified by drug category and individual treatment methods, for labor pain control. Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted in Pubmed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases. All searches commenced from the database's inception to the date of the literature search (May 31, 2023). The Cochrane Risk of Bias 2 tool assessed study bias risk. Network meta-analyses using a random-effects model and odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were performed. Results: Fifteen randomized controlled trials evaluating analgesic interventions in ASA I or II parturients were included. Combination therapies (OR: 5.81; 95% CI, 3.76–7.84; probability: 60%) and non-opioid analgesics (OR: 5.61; 95% CI, 2.91–8.30; probability: 39.2%) were superior to placebo for labor pain relief. Specifically, dexmedetomidine/ropivacaine/sufentanil (OR: 7.32; 95% CI, 2.73–11.89; probability: 40.6%) and dexmedetomidine/ropivacaine (OR: 6.50; 95% CI, 2.51–10.33; probability: 11.9%) combinations, bupivacaine/fentanyl and ropivacaine/sufentanil combinations, and remifentanil monotherapy showed improved analgesic efficacy versus placebo. Dexmedetomidine/ropivacaine reduced parturient nausea and vomiting versus alternatives. Conclusion: Non-opioids, opioids and combinations thereof effectively relieved labor pain. In addition, dexmedetomidine/ropivacaine combination demonstrated analgesic efficacy and lower nausea and vomiting incidence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
