The KLa(SO4)2·H2O–SrSO4·0.5H2O system was studied by X-ray powder diffraction analysis, differential thermogravimetric analysis, and electronic microscopy. The limits of existence were determined for solid solutions of two types: the ones based on the structure of the hexagonal form α-SrSO4·0.5H2O in the concentration range 10–70 mol % SrSO4·0.5H2O and the ones based on the structure of the orthorhombic form β-SrSO4·0.5H2O in the concentration range 85–100 mol % SrSO4·0.5H2O.
