Objective: To investigate the prevalence of emotional and behavioral problems and related factors of left-behind children in impoverished rural China (mainly in the first grade of junior high school). Methods: A cross-sectional survey of rural households in 27 poverty-stricken counties in 12 provinces across China was conducted using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ). Results: The prevalence of emotional and behavioral problems in left-behind children was 11.7%, and that of non-left-behind children was 8.9%. There was statistical difference between the two groups (P < 0.01). There are no differences between the two groups in terms of the various factors of SDQ. The incidence of insomnia in the left-behind group was 58.3%, which was higher than that in the non-left-behind group 50.9% (P < 0.01); loneliness (62.1% vs. 51.8%, P

Purpose Children who are left behind when their parents migrate for work have a high prevalence of emotional and behavioral problems, which affect social function and increase family burden. To date, no national survey has been conducted on the emotional and behavioral problems of left-behind children (LBC) in China. This study aimed to investigate the emotional and behavioral outcomes of primary school LBC in the fourth grade in impoverished rural China and the possible influences of family environment and parenting practices. Methods A cross-sectional study was carried out in 27 rural counties in the central and western parts of China from November 2016 to January 2017. The method of quota sampling was adopted to achieve a representative sample using postweighting adjustment. The survey sample was distributed proportionately across each county. LBC were defined as children aged 17) was significantly higher in the LBC group than in the NLBC group (15.6% vs. 11.6%; p < .01). Binary regression analysis showed that high levels of insomnia (odds ratio [OR] 1.54, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.04–2.27), loneliness (OR 1.65, 95% CI 1.13–2.43), and self-harm (OR 1.92, 95% CI 1.17–3.16) may increase the risk of abnormal SDQ total scores in LBC. Conclusions LBC showed a higher prevalence of abnormal SDQ total scores than NLBC. Insomnia, loneliness, and self-harm behavior were associated with abnormal SDQ total scores in LBC.

The number of hearing-impaired people is increasing year by year; robotic cochlear drilling surgery is one of the safest methods to treat deafness. Looking at the issue of low efficiency of temporal bone posture positioning in cochlear implantation robotic drilling, a novel auxiliary ring marker temporal bone positioning method was proposed to improve temporal bone posture positioning efficiency, optimize the operation time, and reduce auxiliary injuries caused by the surgery. First, the temporal bone visual positioning assistant ring was designed based on the requirements for cochlear robotic drilling surgery. The target detection was conducted on the auxiliary ring and image processing and feature point extraction methods were designed. Then, the three-dimensional coordinates of the measured feature points were obtained by binocular vision, and the auxiliary ring and temporal bone postures were estimated. Finally, the auxiliary ring and temporal bone localization methods were validated. The experiment results indicated that the temporal bone was located quickly and effectively in a total time of about 33 ms, which was faster and more accurate than traditional visual localization methods and could satisfy real-time temporal bone localization during surgery. This study can reduce the time of temporal bone visual positioning in cochlear implant drilling operations, greatly improving the robot’s capabilities to extract visual information during the operation, which has a better auxiliary role for future research and applications of the cochlear implant drilling operation.

Objective: To investigate the occurrence of vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) isolated from patients in Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing, China from 2011 to 2017, and to evaluate their resistance mechanisms and genetic relatedness. Methods: All isolates were identified using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF). Antibiotic susceptibility testing was performed using the broth microdilution method. Molecular characterization were detected by PCR and sequencing. Genotyping of VRE isolates was performed by multilocus sequence typing (MLST) and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) analysis. Virulence genes were detected by multiplex PCR. Results: A total of 87 consecutive VRE were collected, including 84 isolates of vancomycin resistant Enterococcus faecium (VREfm) and 3 isolates of Enterococcus faecalis (VREfs). Urine (40.2%, 35/87) and blood (17.2%, 15/87) were the most commonly specimens. All VREfm isolates were resistant to ampicillin, and were susceptible to daptomycin, linezolid and tigecycline. The resistant rate of teicoplanin was 47.6%. All of the VREfm isolates carried the vanA gene, no isolates carried vanB. 11.9% (10/84) VREfm isolates carried both vanA and vanM. Among them, 76.2% (64/84) and 66.7% (56/84) carried esp and hyl, respectively. The 3 vancomycin resistant E. faecalis (VREfs) isolates were varied, and only one carried vanB. A total of 3 and 18 STs were detected among VREfs and VREfm strains, respectively. PFGE results indicated a genetic diversity among VREfm isolates. Conclusion: This study confirms that VREfm isolates associated with ST78 were the main epidemic lineage responsible for nosocomial infections in China, as were also observed in other nations worldwide. Dermatomyositis (DM) complicated with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is not rare, and could rapidly develop into severe lung cancer [performance-status score (PS) between 2 and 4]. Moreover, tumor has remarkable heterogeneity, and it is not possible to properly target treatments in cases of relapse without knowing pathological diagnosis. We retrospectively analyzed the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with DM complicated with NSCLC, which developed into severe lung cancer with heterogeneity of the tumor during chemotherapy. In this report, we addressed that in patients with severe lung cancer, both the cancer and factors associated with exacerbation should be simultaneously managed to reduce the PS score and avoid unnecessary delay. A second biopsy is important for proper management of the tumor with heterogeneity.

Myanmar is drawing rapidly increasing attention from the world for its seismic hazard. The Sagaing Fault (SF), an active right-lateral strike-slip fault passing through Myanmar, has been being the source of serious seismic damage of the country. Thus, awareness of seismic hazard assessment of this region is of pivotal significance by taking into account the interaction and migration of earthquakes with respect to time and space. We investigated a seismic series comprising10 earthquakes with M > 6.5 that occurred along the SF since 1906. The Coulomb failure stress modeling exhibits significant interactions among the earthquakes. After the 1906 earthquake, eight out of nine earthquakes occurred in the positively stress-enhanced zone of the preceding earthquakes, verifying that the hypothesis of earthquake triggering is applicable on the SF. Moreover, we identified three visible positively stressed earthquake gaps on the central and southern SF, on which seismic hazard is increased.

Background Sepsis is a clinically critical disease. However, it is still controversial whether the combined use of traditional Chinese medicine Xuebijing injections (XBJI) and western medicine can enhance curative efficacy and ensure safety compared with western medicine alone. Thus, this research consisted of a systematic review of the curative efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine XBJI combined with ulinastatin for treating sepsis in the Chinese population. Methods A total of 8 databases were retrieved: 4 foreign databases, namely, PubMed, The Cochrane Library, Embase, and Web of Science; and 4 Chinese databases, namely, Sino Med, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP, and Wangfang Data. The time span of retrieval began from the establishment of each database and ended on August 1, 2017. Published randomized controlled trials about the combined use of traditional Chinese medicine XBJI and western medicine were included, regardless of language. Stata12.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results Finally, 16 papers involving 1335 cases were included. The result of meta-analysis showed that compared with the single use of ulinastatin, traditional Chinese medicine XBJI combined with ulinastatin could reduce the time of mechanical ventilation, shorten the length of intensive care unit (ICU) stay, improve the 28-day survival rate, and decrease the occurrence rate of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, case fatality rate, procalcitonin (PCT) content, APACKEII score, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α level, and interleukin (IL)-6 level. Conclusion On the basis of the common basic therapeutic regimen, the combined use of traditional Chinese medicine XBJI and ulinastatin was compared with the use of ulinastatin alone for treating sepsis in the Chinese population. It was found that the number of adverse events of combination therapy is not significantly increased, and its clinical safety is well within the permitted range. However, considering the limitations of this conclusion due to the low-quality articles included in the present research, it is necessary to conduct high-quality randomized controlled trials.

The clinical efficacy of ulinastatin (UTI) combined with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in the treatment after early cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was evaluated. A total of 70 patients who were successfully treated with CPR in Ganzhou People's Hospital from October 2016 to March 2017 were selected as the subjects. The patients were randomly divided into control group (35 cases, conventional treatment) and UTI combined with CRRT group (35 cases, UTI + CRRT). The whole blood of patients was collected at 0, 3, 6 and 12 h after CPR. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction assay was used to detect the changes of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) gene in mRNA levels between the two groups, i-STAT system 300 was used to analyze pH level, SO2, HCO3- and lactic acid (LAC) concentration; Abbott AXSYM system was used to detect the expression of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) in serum; the concentration of plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) was examined by a special kit; interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in patients was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. To study the design rationality of intersection and gateways, reduce traffic congestion and accidents, based on the function design conception,this paper took connected roads in Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration as research object, combined theoretical analysis and VISSIM simulations, analyzed the traffic characteristics, reasonable forms, traffic organization design methods in the intersections, as well as the locations and reasonable intervals of passageways. The results show that: length of left-turn lanes on city agglomeration connection roads can be 40m to100m, while the length of right-turn lanes for acceleration or deceleration can be 40m~60m. When the distance between two gateways ranges is 800m~900m, the running speed will increase obviously and the longest queue length will decrease remarkably; But when it is over 900m, the variation of running speed and queue length will change to be smaller.So the distance recommended value is 900m-1200m.

The finite element method has been used widely in foundation pit engineering to simulate the deep foundation excavation, but it is troublesome and time-consuming to get the important calculation parameter of the soil elastic modulus. So a method based on the comon soil parameters is proposed to get the soil elastic modulus. And a real foundation excavation was simulated using the finite element software ABAQUS and the soil elastic modulus got according to the proposed method. The three-dimensional finite element analysis results were compared to the field data, and both results were close to each other.

Abaqus finite element software can implement three-dimensional excavation design calculation, so authors used Python of Abaqus core language made the 3D design of foundation pit supporting program come ture and also did intensive study of mesh optimization during the process. Authors also did intensive comparison and analysis about grid division of the complex geometry foundation pit, through a regularization partion about a variety of special-shaped pit, we made the automatic division about the structural grid of all kinds of shapes foundation pit successful. On this basis, we achieved better calculation effects of the model. The article will introduce problems about optimization of grid in procedure.

The ABAQUS finite element software is used to calculate the vertical bearing capacity of single piles in Tianjin, and the finite element results are compared with the data gained through the in-situ static load pile foundation tests. It is found that the Young’s modulus of the soil at the bottom of the pile could have a important role in improving the vertical bearing capacity of single piles.

This paper explores the methods used widely in China and western world interpreting the ultimate capacity of driven piles based on axial static load tests. A database consisting of 57 prestressed high- compression-capacity concrete pipe piles, which are widely used in soft soil ground conditions for building and transportation projects in China, is built. Two methods widely used in China and western world to interpret the ultimate capacity of driven piles based on axial static load testing data, S-lg(t) curve and Davisson Offset Limit, are applied to the database. Findings indicate that both methods work well and reach almost the same estimation. Conclusions suggest that both academia and industry of China and western world should take the advantages of the methods and apply them to engineering practice.

A novel grain boundary (GB) model characterized with different angles and positions in the nanowire was set up. By means of device simulator, the effects of grain boundary angle and location on the electrical performance of ZnO nanowire FET (Nanowire Field-Effect Transistor) with a wrap-around gate configuration, were explored. With the increase of the grain boundary angle, the electrical performance degrades gradually. When a grain boundary with a smaller angle, such as 5° GB, is located close to the source or drain electrode, the grain boundary is partially depleted by an electric field peak, which leads to the decrease of electron concentration and the degradation of transistor characteristics. When the 90° GB is located at the center of the nanowire, the action of the electric field is balanced out, so the electrical performance of transistor is better than that of the 90° GB located at the other positions.

We investigated whether baseline vessel status evaluated by magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) can be the foremost factor to classify acute ischemic stroke patients into subgroups for thrombolytic therapy within 3-6 hours of symptom onset.Acute ischemic stroke patients beyond 3 hours after symptom onset were examined by stroke magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (diffusion- and perfusion-weighted imaging, and MRA) before and after thrombolysis treatment within 24-48 hours. Stroke MRI was used to classify acute ischemic stroke patients into subgroups and select optimal patients for thrombolytic treatment. Clinical scores were compared to determine whether there were significant differences among subgroups.The difference in day 90 modified Rankin scale (mRS) between treated salvageable and untreated salvageable patients with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) was remarkably statistically significant (p=0.02). Treated salvageable patients had more favorable clinical outcomes as compared with the untreated salvageable patients. Patients who did not have baseline artery occlusion were associated with more favorable clinical outcomes than untreated salvageable patients (p0.001). The difference between treated salvageable and patients without artery occlusion in 90 day mRS score was not statistically significant (p=0.058).Baseline vessel status evaluated by MRA may be used as the first factor ahead of mismatch to categorize acute ischemic stroke patients into subgroups. Patients who do not have initial vessel occlusion may not need thrombolytic therapy.

Al2O3/SnO2 co-nanoparticles were prepared with a modified sol-gel technique followed by a thermal treatment process. With these co-nanoparticles the grafted collagen-Al2O3/SnO2 nanocomposites were obtained using a supersonic dispersion method. X-ray diffraction, FT-IR analysis, transmission electron microscopy, TGA/DTA and infrared emissivity test were performed to characterize the resulting nanoparticles and nanocomposites, respectively. The Al2O3/SnO2 co-nanoparticles showed a narrow distribution of size between 20–40 nm and could be uniformly absorbed on the tri-helix scaffolds of the grafted collagen without any aggregation. The nanocomposites possessed better thermal stability and substantially lower infrared emissivity than the grafted collagen and Al2O3/SnO2 co-nanoparticles with an increase of degradation temperature from 39 to 210 °C and a decrease of infrared emissivity from 0.850 of the grafted collagen and 0.708 of the Al2O3/SnO2 co-nanoparticles to 0.424, which provided a potential application of the nanocomposites to areas such as photoelectronics.

Congestion is still a great problem which Internet faces. Locating congestion links is very important to execute traffic engineering and mitigate network congestion. Firstly,congestion localization model was presented. After introducing AS performance matrix model, a kind of congestion detection algorithm based on threshold was put forward. Combining AS performance matrix with topology information, congested link localization algorithm was put forward. Simulation results show the algorithm has higher detection rate and lower false positive rate under different topology sizes and congestion levels.

Experimental teaching is of great importance in computer networking. In this paper, we analyze the problems encountered in real-world laboratory, and propose a web based computer networking virtual laboratory to facilitate learning and teaching in the education of computer networking. The design and implementation of such a system are analyzed in detail. Our experiences of using it in computer network teaching show that this laboratory enables students to share resources of physical and virtual equipments and understand the knowledge more clearly. Finally, the paper concludes with feedbacks in teaching and discusses future developments.

ISP network performance evaluation is very important to the improvement of application performance, the optimum competition of ISP network and the operation and management of Internet. ISP network consists of one or several autonomous systems (AS), so AS is chosen as a basic unit of performance evaluation. The performance measurement architecture of AS was put forward, and performance matrix model of AS was constructed. A method of AS performance evaluation was put forward based on AS performance matrix model. The evaluation method adopted weighted average of path performance between border routers as comprehensive performance metric of AS. Simulation results indicate that the method can evaluate AS performance effectively.

In generalization refactoring, preconditions and allowable source code modifications depend on type constraints of the refactored program. Type constraints of parameterized types should be considered when applying the refactoring to generic programs, otherwise type errors may be brought into the refactored program. Some type constraint rules for Java generic programs are presented to verify the preconditions in the refactoring. The type constraints can be solved by traversing a type constraint graph. Based on the type constraint graph, a refactoring algorithm for extract interface is proposed.
