Background Since the comprehensive implementation of the contracted family doctor service in 2016, the willingness of residents to have their first contact in primary care has gradually increased, but the effectiveness evaluation of contracted residents' first contact in primary care needs to be further explored. Objective To understand the current status of contracted residents' first contact evaluation, explore its influencing factors and propose improvement strategies. Methods A multi-stage stratified random sampling method was used to select 54 community health service institutions/township health centers in three cities in Shandong Province, with a total of 4 000 contracted residents. The first contact dimension questionnaire of the Chinese version of the Primary Care Quality Assessment Scale (PCAT) was used to conduct the survey, comparing the first contact dimension scores of contracted residents with different characteristics and using multiple linear regression to analyse the factors affecting the first contact evaluation of contracted residents. Results A total of 3 859 valid questionnaires were collected, with the effective recovery rate of 96.48%. Among them, 2 086 (54.1%) were residents of township health centers and 1 773 (45.9%) were residents of community health centers; the total score of the first contact dimension in the three regions was 3.49, with the highest score being "Is your contracted institution open on Saturdays and Sundays?" (3.74) ; the item with the lowest score was "During non-business hours, if you were sick at night, would your contracted facility have a doctor or nurse available?" (3.05). We study how patenting enhances customer capital and creates financial value in a product market characterized by information asymmetry between firm insiders and customers. We find that firms with more and higher quality patents develop greater customer capital, as measured by more positive customer perceptions of product novelty and quality. To establish causality, we exploit the exogenous variation in the random assignment of patent examiners to review applications and use the average examiner leniency as an instrument for patent grants. In modern society, the scientific symbiotic relationship of aesthetic community space is crucial for the development of cities. This article aimed to explore the symbiotic relationship between aesthetic community space and science, and analyze this relationship based on the k-means clustering algorithm. The article analyzed the spatial characteristics of different types of aesthetic communities, as well as the commonalities and differences between aesthetic communities and science, including the complementary relationship between the two. The k-means clustering algorithm is integrated to classify community spatial features, thereby analyzing and optimizing the relationship between the two. The experiment selected a sample of an aesthetic community and divided it into three different types of spatial features: architectural area, landscape greening area, and other activity areas. This article also compared the clustering results of the k-means algorithm with the k-means algorithm based on three-dimensional grid space. The results showed that the k-means algorithm optimized by the principle of three-dimensional grid space had stronger clustering performance. In the experiment, four different types of clustering algorithms and multiple evaluation indicators were also selected for testing. The data showed that in the clustering of spatial features in building areas, the k-means average clustering error score was controlled at around 13–14 under different missing ratios; the minimum average clustering error score of the characteristic data of the landscape greening area was 12.1. The average clustering error score in spatial feature clustering of other activity areas reached a minimum value of 23.5 when the missing ratio was 10%, which was lower than other algorithms. The overall experimental results indicate that the fused k-means clustering algorithm can effectively partition the aesthetic community space and optimize scientific symbiotic relationships.

Dry-aging is the aerobic aging process where meat carcasses or primal cuts are hanged and aged for a period of time (28 to 55 days, or even longer) under specific environmental conditions of temperature (0–4 ℃), relative humidity (61%–85%), and air flow (0.5–2.0 m/s). Dry-aging in a breathable bag, dry-aging combined with ultraviolet irradiation treatment, and stepwise dry/wet-aging have been successively developed. Due to dehydration during dry-aging, the surface of meat shrinks to produce a hard ‘crust’, resulting in significant mass loss and trim loss. However, compared with wet-aging, dry-aging can significantly enhance meat flavor characteristics, imparting a strong ‘dry-aged flavor’ and unique roasted beef-like, roasted nutty and buttery aromas to aged meat. Dry-aging can be used effectively to improve the eating quality and economic value of low-marbled beef. In this paper, the key parameters of dry-aging are reviewed, the potential mechanism by which dry-aging improves meat quality, especially flavor, is discussed. Future prospects for the application and development of dry-aging are discussed as well. This review will provide theoretical support for the development of the meat industry and for exploring the market for high-quality meat.

Synthetic polymer hydrogel nanoparticles (NPs) were developed to function as abiotic affinity reagents for fibrinogen. These NPs were made using both temperature-sensitive N-isopropyl acrylamide (NIPAm) and l-amino acid monomers. Five kinds of l-amino acids were acryloylated to obtain functional monomers: l-phenylalanine (Phe) and l-leucine (Leu) with hydrophobic side chains, l-glutamic acid (Glu) with negative charges, and l-lysine (Lys) and l-arginine (Arg) with positive charges. After incubating the NPs with fibrinogen, γ-globulin, and human serum albumin (HSA) respectively, the NPs that incorporated N-acryloyl-Arg monomers (AArg@NPs) showed the strongest and most specific binding affinity to fibrinogen, when compared with γ-globulin and HSA. Additionally, the fibrinogen-AArg binding model had the best docking scores, and this may be due to the interaction of positively charged AArg@NPs and the negatively charged fibrinogen D domain and the hydrophobic interaction between them. The specific adsorption of AArg@NPs to fibrinogen was also confirmed by the immunoprecipitation assay, as the AArg@NPs selectively trapped the fibrinogen from a human plasma protein mixture. AArg@NPs had a strong selectivity for, and specificity to, fibrinogen and may be developed as a potential human fibrinogen-specific affinity reagent.
