Abstract

Research demonstrates that the recombinant Atp1al1-betaHK complex of the human nongastric H,K-ATPase is enzymatically active mediating potassium-dependent ATPase, which is sensitive to oubain. Expression of the functionally active recombinant complex is carried out using Spodoptera frugiperda insect cells.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the H,K-ATPase alpha and beta subunits interactions necessary for their maturation. The results of the coexpression of the human H,K-ATPase alpha and Na,K-ATPase alpha1 as well as AL1-alpha1 and alpha1-AL1 chimeras are described.
