Accurate power consumption assessment is of critical importance in the fast-evolving world of cloud and edge computing. These technologies enable rapid data processing and storage but they also require huge amounts of energy. This energy requirement directly impacts operational costs, as well as environmental responsibility. We are conducting research to develop a specialized cloud-edge power measurement and security model. This model delivers reliable power usage data from these systems while maintaining security for the data they process and store. A combination of simulation-based analysis and real-world experimentation helped us to deliver these results. Monte Carlo based simulations produced power usage predictions under various conditions and Load Testing validated their real-world performance. A Threat Modeling-based security study identified potential vulnerabilities and suggested protection protocols. A collaborative approach enhances power measurements accuracy and encourages secure operation of the combined cloud-edge systems. By fusing these metrics, a more efficient and secure operation of computing resources becomes possible. This research underscores the critical importance of developing advanced techniques for power metering and security in cloud-edge computing systems. Future research may focus on both expanding the model’s use to an array of larger, more complex networks, as well as the inclusion of AI driven predictive analytics to amplify accuracy of power management.

To examine the macro-and meso-mechanical behaviors and crack propagation mode of the prefabricated and fractured rock sample under biaxial compression, the particle flow code (PFC) is first used to study the effect of the micro-parameters of the parallel bond model on the macro-parameters. Combined with the conventional triaxial compression test of intact granite, the meso-parameters are calibrated. The mechanical properties of the sample with prefabricated double fractures (upper fracture ① and lower fracture ②) under confining pressure are simulated with the set of parameters. The results show that the PFC code and the calibrated parameters can better simulate the failure of the complete samples. As the confining pressure increases, the peak strength and elastic modulus of the double-fractured rock sample increase. When the angle α2 between the lower fracture ② and the horizontal is 90°, both of them reach the maximum values. Under different α2, the simulated crack evolution of each rock sample goes through three stages of crack initiation, development and stabilization. With the decreasing confining pressure and the increasing axial stress, the damage of the force chains between particles becomes more severe. Due to the difference in the concentration and distribution of the tensile force chains, the cracks along the length of the horizontal fracture propagate along the axial direction, and the penetration of the two fractures presents different ways.

With the national carbon neutrality and carbon peaking policies proposed one after another, this paper proposes intelligent Energy system design and power metering based on the Energy Plan model. In this paper, the Energy PLAN model is proposed as the basic model for energy development planning during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and the simulation calculation is carried out for the energy system in 2020. The research shows that there is a large gap between the peak and valley of power load, the peak time of power supply and demand does not match, and the response-ability of the energy supply department is poor. Thus, the problems to be solved in the development of energy are determined. In addition, the accuracy of the model is further verified by comparing the actual data with the simulation results of Energy PLAN, and the direction of energy structure reform is determined. By coupling the NSGA-II (Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms-II) algorithm with the development model, a dual-objective multi-time scale scheduling model is established, which aims at the minimum operating cost and the best energy and environmental benefit coefficient. Secondly, the proposed model is solved using the NSGA-II algorithm. In order to ensure the diversity of solutions and promote the Pareto front approach to the ideal Pareto front, the fuzzy dominance method is used to perform a fast non-dominated sorting of the population, and the maximum satisfaction method is used to select the Pareto optimal compromise solution. Example analysis shows that when the power demand level is L*-L*-L*, the power input under "H-M", "M-L" and "H-L" scenarios is 106.02 × 103, 102.73 × 103 and 94.2 × 103 GWh, respectively. However, when the power demand level is H*-L*-L*, the power input is always 142.64 × 103 GWh. With the decrease in the transmission rate, the measurement data obtained by the user's electric acquisition platform becomes less and less, and the performance of state estimation becomes worse. This article reports numerical results investigating the damage evolution and spatial distribution characteristics of intact and jointed rockmass subjected to blast loading. The behaviors of rock material are described by the Holmquist- Johnson-Cook (HJC) constitutive model incorporated in the finite element software LS-DYNA. Results indicate that the damage distribution shows a reverse S-shape attenuation with the increase of the distance from borehole, and a better goodness of fit with the Logistic function is observed. In the single-hole blasting of jointed rockmass, there are two types of regions around the intersection of borehole and joint in which the damage degree is quite different. The crushing damage develops in a Ψ-shape path along the joint. In the radial direction, the crushing damage and cracking damage of rock show different distribution forms with the increase of joint dip angle. As for the double-hole blasting, due to the superposition of the blast waves, the damage degree in the region between the two boreholes of intact rockmass is significantly large. For jointed rockmass, the joint has local enhancement or inhibition effect on the blast damage in the region between the two boreholes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The electromagnetic interference (EMI) performances of the interconnects and cables can be predicted via a standard multi-conductor transmission line (MTL) model, while the latter is not valid for the evaluation of power rail collapse and ground bounce responses. To circumvent the limitations, a more general and feasible improved MTL representation is presented in this paper. It physically incorporates the partial resistance and partial inductance parameters of all signal and reference conductors. To consider the frequency dependent behavior of the per-unit-length (PUL) electrical parameters in time domain simulations, a terminal description for this improved MTL model with any desired length is demonstrated. Subsequently, an equivalent node-to-node admittance functions (NAFs) implementation for this terminal representation is carried out. The correctness and effectiveness of the NAFs circuit model in time domain is then numerically validated by analyzing two dedicated examples.
