Abstract The rapid construction of high-speed railways in China has forced more and more routes to pass through slow subsidence zones caused by groundwater extraction or underground mining. It is crucial to carry out deformation monitoring and prediction those areas along high-speed railways to ensure the safe operation. Twenty-nine periods of Sentinel-1A data between Taiyuan South Station and Taigu East Station were first processed using the PS-InSAR technique, and the ground subsidence sequences at ten typical points were selected. Then the Variational modal decomposition (VMD) was combined with the Adaptive Boosting Algorithm (AdaBoost), and the VMD-LSTMAda-LSTMAda model was constructed by combining the long short-term memory (LSTM) model for the prediction of regional ground subsidence along the high-speed railway. The results show that the cumulative subsidence within the 200 m buffer of the line centreline is − 37.58 − 89.19 mm, and the annual average subsidence rate is − 26.57 − 82.63 mm/y. The proposed model can reduce the complexity of the deformation sequence and combines with AdaBoost to improve the prediction accuracy of the LSTM model. It performs well in terms of RMSE, MAE, MAPE, and R 2 at the two feature points (3703: RMSE = 0.82 mm, MAE = 0.25 mm, MAPE = 6.31%, and R 2 = 0.94; 522: RMSE = 1.32 mm, MAE = 0.46 mm, MAPE = 4.92%, R 2 = 0.95). The model improves the accuracy of regional subsidence prediction along the high-speed railway.

This paper proposes a printed ridge gap waveguide (PRGW)-based 2 × 2 millimeter-wave antenna array with broad bandwidth and compact aperture. A dual-resonance element consisting of a quarter circular and a quarter annular patch is initially designed. Subsequently, to reduce the cross polarization (XP) radiation and enhance the gain of the proposed antenna, a four-element array with symmetric arrangement is developed, leading to a decline in the normalized XP levels from −4.5 to −18.9 dB and from −4.4 to −18.7 dB in the xoz and yoz planes, respectively. In addition, a pair of parasitic shorted half-circular patches is loaded to improve the antenna gain in the high-frequency range. Finally, a PRGW feeding network is designed and applied to provide differential feeding for the planar array. To validate the reflection and radiation performance, an array prototype is fabricated, and experimental verification is conducted. Measurement results show that a −10-dB impedance bandwidth of 14.3% (26.0–30.0 GHz) is realized for the prototype, and an average realized gain of 9.8 dBi with low XP radiation is achieved by the proposed array.

Ejaculation is regulated by the central nervous system. However, the central pathophysiology of primary intravaginal anejaculation (PIAJ) is unclear. The present study aimed to examine the changes in regional brain activity and functional connectivity underlying PIAJ. A total of 20 PIAJ patients and 16 healthy controls (HCs) were enrolled from September 2020 to September 2022 in the Department of Andrology, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital (Nanjing, China). Magnetic resonance imaging data were acquired from all participants and then were preprocessed. The measures of fractional amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (fALFF), regional homogeneity (ReHo), and functional connectivity (FC) were calculated and compared between the groups. PIAJ patients showed increased fALFF values in the left precuneus compared with HCs. Additionally, PIAJ patients showed increased ReHo values in the left precuneus, left postcentral gyrus, left superior occipital gyrus, left calcarine fissure, right precuneus, and right middle temporal gyrus, and decreased ReHo values in the left inferior parietal gyrus, compared with HCs. Finally, brain regions with altered fALFF and ReHo values in PIAJ patients showed increased FC with widespread cortical regions, which included the frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital regions, compared with HCs. In conclusion, increased regional brain activity in the parietal, temporal, and occipital regions, and increased FC between these brain regions, may be associated with PIAJ occurrence.

In this paper, we present a millimeter-wave Fabry-Perot antenna with dual resonances, circular polarization, and stable gain. To achieve circularly polarized radiation, we integrate a receiver-transmitter circular polarizer into the partially reflective surface (PRS) of the antenna. The PRS is specifically designed with a positive reflective phase gradient, which contributes to a stable gain in the dual-resonance frequency band. For the radiation source, we adopt a linearly-polarized substrate-integrated waveguide cavity-backed slot fed by a printed ridge gap waveguide. Experimental measurements conducted on a fabricated prototype of the proposed antenna demonstrate its impedance and axial ratio bandwidths of 28.6–30.0 GHz and 28.6–29.6 GHz, respectively. Furthermore, the antenna exhibits a peak gain of 12.1 dBi and a gain fluctuation lower than 0.6 dB within the operational frequency band.

AbstractObjective The study aimed to compare the effectiveness and safety of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation (MWA) and percutaneous sclerotherapy (PS) for the treatment of large hepatic hemangioma (LHH).Methods This retrospective study included 96 patients who underwent MWA (n = 54) and PS (n = 42) as first-line treatment for LHH in three tertiary hospitals from January 2016 to December 2021. Primary outcomes were technique efficacy rate (volume reduction rate [VRR] > 50% at 12 months), symptom relief rate at 12 months and local tumor progression (LTP). Secondary outcomes included procedure time, major complications, treatment sessions, cost and one-, two-, three-year VRR.Results During a median follow-up of 36 months, the MWA group showed a higher technique efficacy rate (100% vs. 90.4%, p = .018) and symptom relief rate (100% vs. 80%, p = .123) than the PS group. The MWA group had fewer treatment sessions, higher one-, two- and three-year VRR, lower LTP rate (all p 8.1 cm were independent risk factors for LTP (all p 0.115 mg/cm3 had a lower risk of LTP (p = .006).Conclusions Both MWA and PS treatments for large hepatic hemangioma are safe and effective, with MWA being superior in terms of efficacy.

Encapsulated papillary carcinoma (EPC) represents a distinct entity within the spectrum of breast papillary tumors, typically manifesting as a retroareolar mass. This rare subtype can be effectively visualized using ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, which reveal characteristic cystic-solid nodules. Histopathologically, EPC is defined by a papillary tumor structure with a well-defined fibrous capsule, devoid of myoepithelial cells both within and around the capsule. Immunohistochemical staining for myoepithelial markers is essential to confirm the absence of these cells, thereby validating the diagnosis of EPC. At the molecular level, EPC exhibits feature similar to estrogen receptor-positive invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC), with a biological behavior that lies between ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) and IDC. Generally, EPC has a favorable prognosis, associated with minimal recurrence and metastatic potential. Therapeutic strategies for EPC may parallel those for DCIS, including surgical excision. Adjuvant radiotherapy is recommended following surgery for patients with concurrent DCIS or those who have undergone breast-conserving therapy. In cases with associated IDC, management prioritizes the treatment of the invasive component. High-grade EPC often requires systemic therapies due to its poorer prognosis and increased risk of lymph node involvement.

[Objective] Through analying the causes of the current spatial pattern of cultivated land protection and its spatial correlation, the scientific zoning of cultivated land renovation planning was divided to provide reference for further optimizing the layout of cultivated land, improving the quality of cultivated land, and scientific utilization and protection of cultivated land. [Methods] Taking Kongtong District, Pingliang City, Gansu Province as an example, landscape pattern index method, multi-objective decision-making method, Spreaman rank correlation method and cluster analysis method were used to analyze the synergistic or tradeoff relationship between the current situation of cultivated land landscape pattern and its spatial existence by selecting cultivated land slope, cultivated land protection policy and urbanization impact, and to construct the correlation analysis and evaluation index system of cultivated land protection pattern. [Results] ① As a whole, the cultivated land landscape pattern index of the study area increased by 3.55% from 2010 to 2022, and the degree of cultivated land agglomeration showed a downward trend in most regions, but it fluctuated during the whole process. The regional land use degree showed an upward trend on the whole, and the characteristics of cultivated land layout and land use degree of each township were significantly different. ② The cultivated land protection index in 2022 increased by 315.30% compared with 2010, the cultivated land on 2°—6° slope increased by 120.96%, the cultivated land on 15°—25° slope decreased by 32.64%, and the cultivated land in > 25° decreased by 100%, which was highly coordinated with the cultivated land landscape pattern in space. The urbanization impact index showed an upward trend, which increased by 25.17% from 2010 to 2022. The urbanization impact on cultivated land distribution increased, and there was a significant spatial balance between urbanization and cultivated land landscape pattern. ③ Four units of cultivated land renovation planning were divided as cultivated land quality improvement key area, cultivated land quality improvement general area, cultivated land new development potential area, cultivated land coordination protection area. [Conclusion] The distribution characteristics of cultivated land in Kongtong District of Pingliang City, Gansu Province are different among different towns, and the overall protection effect of cultivated land is obvious. The main factors affecting the spatial pattern of cultivated land in the study area are policy factors, the impact of urban development, farmers’ planting willingness and cultivated land protection awareness, etc.

AbstractRosa ‘Limoncello’ finds applications in gardening and landscaping. In this study, we assembled and annotated the complete chloroplast genome of this variety for the first time. The length of its chloroplast genome was 156,493 bp, containing two short inverted repeat regions of 26,052 bp, each separated by a large single-copy region of 85,649 bp and a small single-copy region of 18,740 bp. The chloroplast DNA of R. ‘Limoncello’ consisted of 135 genes, including 90 protein-coding genes, eight ribosomal RNA genes, and 37 transfer RNA genes. On comparing the complete chloroplast sequence of R. ‘Limoncello’ with that of other Rosa species, R. ‘Limoncello’ was found to be closely related to Rosa cymosa. Thus, information on the chloroplast genome sequence of this rose variety can facilitate phylogenetic studies of the genus Rosa.

Abstract This letter proposes a high-gain shared-aperture array for vehicular communications which integrates the hybrid zeroth-order-resonance (ZOR) patch and the higher-order metasurface antenna (MA). In terms of each array element, four hybrid ZOR patches with shorting pins form a metasurface which is fed by slot coupling. Different from some reported designs which have more high-frequency elements than low-frequency ones, the whole array is composed of 4 $$\times$$ × 4 hybrid ZOR patches operating in C band (4.74–5.12 GHz) and 2 $$\times$$ × 2 MAs working in Ku band (13.0–14.0 GHz). Such a layout brings that the designed array has the benefit to reduce Ku-band loss. Measure results validate the dual-band operation and show that the antenna has its peak gains of 12.7 dBi and 17.2 dBi in these two bands, respectively, which can support vehicle-to-base station and vehicle-to-satellite communications.

To predict the workability of community nursing staff and provide corresponding training strategies based on the results. In this study, a nursing staff workability prediction model based on R-GCN-GRU was constructed. In the process of community nursing staff workability feature extraction, the attention mechanism is introduced, combined with the degree of association between the captured nodes of the R-GCN network and the long-term memory capacity of the GRU network, and the model optimization is carried out using the cross-entropy loss function. Finally, the workability of community caregivers in a city in Guangdong Province was predicted to verify the accuracy of the model from multiple perspectives. The results showed that clinical handling ability, keen observation ability, and communication ability were more valued by most caregivers, and their selection rates all reached 98.4%. On the other hand, clinical research, organizational management, and innovation abilities were relatively low. In the ability prediction of individual characteristics, the highest income personnel’s working ability was second only to the lowest salary personnel reaching 44.61±6.03. The working ability of older age and higher-position nursing staff, and nursing staff with more than 25 years of service reached 45.62±6.14, 48.30±5.22, and 45.86±5.52, respectively.

Selective dorsal neurotomy (SDN) is a surgical treatment for primary premature ejaculation (PE), but there is still no standard surgical procedure for selecting the branches of the dorsal penile nerves to be removed. We performed this study to explore the value of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) of the penile sensory-evoked potential (PSEP) for standard surgical procedures in SDN. One hundred and twenty primary PE patients undergoing SDN were selected as the PE group and 120 non-PE patients were selected as the normal group. The PSEP was monitored and compared between the two groups under both natural and general anesthesia (GA) states. In addition, patients in the PE group were randomly divided into the IONM group and the non-IONM group. During SDN surgery, PSEP parameters of the IONM group were recorded and analyzed. The differences in PE-related outcome measurements between the perioperative period and 3 months' postoperation were compared for the PE patients, and the differences in effectiveness and complications between the IONM group and the non-IONM group were compared. The results showed that the average latency of the PSEP in the PE group was shorter than that in the normal group under both natural and GA states (P < 0.001). Three months after surgery, the significant effective rates in the IONM and non-IONM groups were 63.6% and 34.0%, respectively (P < 0.01), and the difference in complications between the two groups was significant (P < 0.05). IONM might be useful in improving the short-term therapeutic effectiveness and reducing the complications of SDN.

Atmospheric plasma sprayed dense Si coatings have excellent potential for high-temperature oxidation resistance. However, numerous isolated spherical particles on the coating surface result in rapid oxidation and a large local TGO thickness. In the present study, isolated particle healing (IPH) treatment was proposed to eliminate these isolated particles. Then, the related structure evolution and oxidation kinetics of Si coatings were investigated. Finally, the failure mechanism of TGO after oxidation was identified. The results show that the IPH treatment makes isolated particles diffuse, connect with and then immerse themselves into the bulk coating surface, thereby contributing to both surface smoothing and coating densification. Consequently, the localized large thickness in the TGO scale is eliminated, and the overall oxidation rates of the IPH Si coating decrease by ∼24% compared with the as-sprayed coating. The β→α phase transformation of polymorphic cristobalite with a volume reduction of ∼4.5% is the main cause for TGO channel cracking and is not suppressed by IPH treatment, which points out future directions for better antioxidant Si coatings.

Abstract A radio‐frequency identification antenna with a quasi‐endfire radiation beam and a vertical polarisation is presented. A size‐reduced magnetic dipole is used as the radiation source whose radiating waves are restricted by a dual‐layer metasurface to propagate along the horizontal direction and result in an endfire pattern. Two vertical metal plates are placed at both ends to induce magnetic currents to realise the vertical polarisation. Based on the near‐field power analysis, the proposed metasurface‐covered endfire antenna, which is conformal to fit compactly into a drawer with little influence on the storage space, can be used for smart home and smart library systems, such as intelligent storage and reading.
