Abstract

A route for shape and crystalline phase control of GaP (gallium phosphide) nanocrystals is successfully developed using a single molecular precursor approach. The first liquid phase syntheses of anisotropic III-V semiconductor within a quantum-confined region with a width of less than 10 nm.
