To explore the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of heat vulnerability in the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration during heatwave disasters, this research employs the Entropy Weight Method (EWM) to calculate the heat vulnerability assessment results for nine cities in the region spanning from 2001 to 2022. Through the application of kernel density estimation, Moran's I, and the Geographically and Temporally Weighted Regression (GTWR) model, which is proven to be superior to traditional model such as OLS, this study analyzes the dynamic distribution patterns of heat vulnerability in the study area and dissect the trends of influencing factors. The results reveal that from 2001 to 2022, the overall heat vulnerability index in the study area demonstrates a fluctuating downward trend. Key contributors to heat vulnerability include high-frequency and long-duration heatwaves, population sensitivity, and changes in residents' consumption levels. Throughout this period of development, the disparity in heat vulnerability among cities has gradually widened, indicating an overall pattern of uneven development in the region. Future attention should be focused on formulating heat adaptation strategies in areas with high vulnerability to enhance the overall sustainability of the study area.

Introduction: Investigating the genetic footprints of historical temperature selection can get insights to the local adaptation and feasible influences of climate change on long-term population dynamics. Object: Chicken is a significative species to study genetic adaptation on account of its similar domestication track related to human activity with the most diversified varieties. Yet, few studies have demonstrated the genetic signatures of its adaptation to naturally tropical and frigid environments. Method: Here, we generated whole genome resequencing of 119 domesticated chickens in China including the following breeds which are in order of breeding environmental temperature from more tropical to more frigid: Wenchang chicken (WCC), green-shell chicken (GSC), Tibetan chicken (TBC), and Lindian chicken (LDC). Results: Our results showed WCC branched off earlier than LDC with an evident genetic admixture between WCC and LDC, suggesting their closer genetic relationship. Further comparative genomic analyses solute carrier family 33 member 1 (SLC33A1) and thyroid stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR) genes exhibited stronger signatures for positive selection in the genome of the more tropical WCC. Furthermore, genotype data from about 3,000 African local ecotypes confirmed that allele frequencies of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in these 2 genes appeared strongly associated with tropical environment adaptation. In addition, the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit S4 (NDUFS4) gene exhibited a strong signature for positive selection in the LDC genome, and SNPs with marked allele frequency differences indicated a significant relationship with frigid environment adaptation. Conclusion: Our findings partially clarify how selection footprints from environmental temperature stress can lead to advantageous genomic adaptions to tropical and frigid environments in poultry and provide a valuable resource for selective breeding of chickens.

A large number of sandstone interlayers were developed in the shale strata of the 7th member of the Triassic Yanchang Formation (Chang 7 member) in the Ordos Basin. These sandstone interlayers are frequently accompanied by abnormally high natural gamma values as high as 330.5 API. As a result, they are undistingui shable from shale on well profile. To characterize the high-gamma sandstones, the clastic rocks of the Chang 7 member were classified into fine sandstone, siltstone, argillaceous siltstone, silty mudstone, mudstone and shale according to grain size and structural characteristics. Conventional logging data were recalculated and combined into two new parameters—A and B. The new intersection chart composed of parameters A and B and natural gamma logging data can effectively distinguish and identify normal sandstone and high-gamma sandstone in the Chang 7 member. The plane distribution of cumulative thickness of high-gamma sandstone in the Chang 7 member shows that the high-gamma sandstone is mainly located in the southwest of the study area. The finger-like distribution of high-gamma sandstone from the edge to the center of the lake basin indicates that its formation may be related to the volcanic eruption during sedimentary period.

Combining multiple secondary oil recovery (SOR)/enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods can be an effective way to maximize oil recovery from heavy oil reservoirs; however, previous studies typically focus on single methods. In order to optimize the combined process of ethane-based cyclic solvent injection (CSI) and water/nanoparticle-solution flooding, a comprehensive understanding of the impact of injection pressure, water, and nanoparticles on CSI performance is crucial. This study aims to provide such understanding through experimental evaluation, advancing the knowledge of EOR methods for heavy oil recovery. Three approaches (an ethane-based CSI process, water flooding, and nanoparticle-solution flooding) were applied through a cylindrical sandpack model with a length of 95.0 cm and a diameter of 3.8 cm. Test 1 conducted an ethane-based CSI process only. Test 2 conducted a combination approach of CSI–water flooding–CSI–nanoparticle-solution flooding–CSI. Specifically, the injection pressure of the first CSI phase in Test 2 was gradually increased from 3500 to 5500 kPa. The second and the third CSI phases had the same injection pressure as Test 1 at 5500 kPa. The CSI process ceased once the oil recovery was less than 0.5% of the original oil in place (OOIP) in a single cycle. Results show that the ethane-based CSI process is sensitive to injection pressure. A high injection pressure is crucial for optimal oil recovery. The first CSI phase in Test 2, where the injection pressure was increased gradually, resulted in a 2.9% lower oil recovery and five times as much ethane consumption compared to Test 1, which applied a high injection pressure. It was also found that water flooding improved the oil recovery in the CSI process. In Test 2, the oil recovery factor of the second CSI phase increased by 57% after the water flooding process, which is likely due to the formation of water channels and a dispersed oil phase that increased the contact area between ethane and oil. Although the nanoparticle-solution flooding only had 0.3% oil recovery, after that the third CSI phase stimulated another 10.8% of OOIP even when the water saturation achieved more than 65%. This demonstrated that the addition of nanoparticles can maintain the stability of the foam and enhance the transfer of ethane to the heavy oil. Finally, Test 2 reached a total oil recovery factor of 76.1% on a lab scale, an increase of 45% compared to the single EOR method, which proved the combination process is an efficient method to develop a heavy oil field.

Abstract Huangjiu (Chinese rice wine) is a popular and traditional alcoholic beverage in China; however, the consumption of Huangjiu readily results in hangover symptoms. The aim of this study was to identify the main components associated with behavioral inhibition, headache, and the relevant mechanisms by using a mice hangover model. The results of an open‐field experiment revealed that the key biogenic amine associated with mice behavior was histamine, which inhibited the behavior activity of mice in a dose‐dependent manner. Moreover, histamine treatment decreased the levels of serotonin (5‐HT) and 5‐hydroxyindole acetic acid. In addition, the levels of dopamine and nitric oxide, which are associated with migraine, increased in the brain tissue of mice. In addition, the expression of receptor genes of 5‐HT, including Htr1a, Htr1f, and Htr2c, is essential in regulating various behaviors and mental activities. In conclusion, the present study demonstrated that histamine is a key component in Huangjiu, and it is related to hangover symptoms by affecting the level of 5‐HT and its receptors.

ABSTRACT: Objectives: Isoniazid resistance might be overlooked because of the priority of detection of rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis. It was urgent to reveal the current situation of isoniazid-resistant tuberculosis (HR-TB), including unfavorable outcomes and bacterial factors. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was undertaken including 120 patients with HR-TB and 193 patients with drug-sensitive tuberculosis (DS-TB). 24-loci MIRU-VNTR and Spoligotyping were adopted for genotyping. Results: We found 106 cases (88.3%) of HR-TB and 165 cases (85.5%) of DS-TB were treated with the first-line drugs. Meanwhile, 12 (10.0%) patients of the HR-TB group and 7 (3.63%) patients of the DS-TB group involved adverse treatment outcomes (χ2 = 5.271, P = 0.028). Seventy-eight DNA from HR Mycobacterium tuberculosis and 114 DNA from DS M. tuberculosis were available for MIRU-VNTR and Spoligotyping. The clustering rate was 17.9% (14/78) for HR-TB and 16.7% (19/114) for DS-TB, and reached no significant difference (χ2 = 0.05, P = 0.8171). The Beijing family strains accounted for 83.7% (65/78) of HR-TB and 80.0% (91/114) of DS-TB (χ2 = 0.37, P = 0.5407). The adverse treatment outcomes for HR-TB all occurred in patients infected with Beijing family strains (13.8%), but no difference was found between Beijing and non-Beijing genotypes (P = 0.342). Conclusion: Adverse outcomes were significantly more frequent in patients with HR-TB than in those with DS-TB, and most of the patients with HR-TB were receiving a standard first-line regimen. Although the clustering rate and Beijing genotype distribution amongst HR-TB and DS-TB showed no significant difference, the Beijing genotype was the dominant genotype and its proportion was slightly higher amongst HR-TB than amongst DS-TB.

The ultimate recovery of shale oil is mostly dependent upon the occurrence and content of free oil within the nano-scaled pore network of shale reservoirs. Due to the nanoporous nature of shale, quantitatively characterizing the occurrence and content of free oil in shale is a formidable undertaking. To tackle this challenge, 12 lacustrine shale samples with diverse organic matter content from the Chang7 Member in the southern Ordos Basin were selected, and the characteristics of free oil occurrence were indirectly characterized by comparing changes in pore structure before and after organic solvent extraction. The free oil enrichment in shale was assessed using the oil saturation index (OSI), corrected oil saturation index (OSIcorr), and percentage of saturated hydrocarbons. The results revealed that slit-like interparticle pores with diameters less than 30 nm are dominant in the Chang7 shale. Conceptual models for the pore structures containing free oil were established for shale with total organic carbon (TOC) content less than 9% and greater than 9%, respectively. Shale samples with TOC content less than 9% exhibit a well-developed pore network characterized by relatively larger pore volume, surface area, and heterogeneity. Conversely, shale samples with TOC content exceeding 9% display a less developed pore network characterized by relatively smaller pore volume, surface area, and heterogeneity. Larger pore volume and lower organic matter abundance favor the enrichment of free oil within the lacustrine shale pore network. This study may have significant implications for understanding oil transport in shales.

Robot-assisted bimanual training is promising to improve motor function and cortical reorganization for hemiparetic stroke patients. Closing the rehabilitation training loop with neurofeedback can help refine training protocols in time for better engagements and outcomes. However, due to the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and non-stationary properties of neural signals, reliable characterization of bimanual training-induced neural activities from single-trial measurement is challenging. In this study, ten human participants were recruited conducting robot-assisted bimanual cyclical tasks (in-phase, 90° out-of-phase, and anti-phase) when concurrent electroencephalography (EEG) and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) were recorded. A unified EEG-fNIRS bimodal signal processing framework was proposed to characterize neural activities induced by three types of bimanual cyclical tasks. In this framework, novel artifact removal methods were used to improve the SNR and the task-related component analysis (TRCA) was introduced to increase the reproducibility of EEG-fNIRS bimodal features. The optimized features were transformed into low-dimensional indicators to reliably characterize bimanual training-induced neural activation. The SVM classification results of three bimanual cyclical tasks revealed a good discrimination ability of EEG-fNIRS bimodal indicators (90.1%), which was higher than that using EEG (74.8%) or fNIRS (82.2%) alone, supporting the proposed method as a feasible technique to characterize neural activities during robot-assisted bimanual training.

Objectives: The current situation of isoniazid-resistant, rifampicin-susceptible tuberculosis (Hr-TB) and associated genetic factors is not clear in China. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted from 2013 to 2018 in Jiangsu Province, China. Phenotypic Hr-TB were identified by drug susceptibility testing on Lowenstein–Jensen medium and using a Mycobacterium Growth Indicator Tube 960 (MGIT 960) system, and mutations in the katG 315 codon and inhA promoter nucleotides –8, –15 and –16 were determined by GenoType MTBDRplus and sequencing. All of the Hr-TB patients enrolled were followed up until June 2019. Results: A total of 1416 smear-positive sputum samples were collected, of which 57 were excluded due to the presence of nontuberculous mycobacteria. Finally, 63/1359 (4.6%) were determined as Hr-TB. After follow-up, 11 Hr-TB patients (17.5%) showed an unfavourable outcome, of whom 5 (7.9%) relapsed, 4 (6.3%) had treatment failure and 2 (3.2%) died. A total of 52 isolates (82.5%) were detected with either katG 315 or inhA promoter nucleotide –8, –15 or –16 mutations, whereas no canonical mutations were found in 8 isolates (12.7%); 3 isolates failed in mutation detection. TB history was found to be associated with unfavourable outcomes for Hr-TB (odds ratio = 6.13, 95% confidence interval 1.05–35.82; P = 0.04). However, mutations in katG 315 and the inhA promoter region were not found to be associated with Hr-TB unfavourable outcomes (P = 0.15). Conclusion: Unfavourable outcomes for Hr-TB are serious in eastern China, especially for previously treated patients. Meanwhile, current genetic determination of Hr-TB is inadequate.

Walnut shell breaking is the first step of deep walnut processing. This study aims to investigate the mechanical properties and fracture state of the Qingxiang walnut shell under unidirectional load and guide the complete separation of the walnut shell and kernel. The spherical thin shell model of the walnut (the fitting error is less than 5%) was established and verified. The process from the initiation to the expansion of walnut cracks was analyzed. The crack expansion rate was estimated in terms of the crack fracture regularity on the shell’s surface. Based on the momentless theory and finite element simulation analysis, we found that the stress on the shell surface in the concentrated force action region was gradient distributed from inside to outside and that the internal forces were equal in all directions in the peripheral force action region. The unidirectional impact shell-breaking experiments confirmed the reliability of our spherical thin shell model and verified our hypothesis of walnut shell fracture along the longitudinal grain. Our results can provide a theoretical basis for the development and structural optimization of shell-breaking machinery.

In Southeast Asia, many varieties of citrus are grown in hilly areas. Compared with plain orchards, it is difficult for large spraying equipment to move in hilly orchards. Small spraying equipment can enter hilly orchards, but their spraying power cannot make droplets penetrate into the canopy, resulting in low deposition rates within the canopy. As a kind of unstructured narrow space, the branches within the canopy are interlaced, thus a flexible manipulator that can move within the canopy is required. In this paper, a novel remote-controlled, cable-driven target spray robot (CDTSR) was designed to achieve a precise spray within the canopy. It consisted of a small tracked vehicle, a cable-driven flexible manipulator (CDFM), and a spray system. The CDFM had six degrees of freedom driven by a cable tendon. The forward and inverse kinematics model of the CDFM were established and then the semispherical workspace was calculated. Furthermore, while considering precise control requirements, the dynamics equations were derived. The experimental results demonstrated that the CFDM could move dexterously within the canopy with interlacing branches to reach pests and diseases areas in the canopy. The entire operation took 3.5 s. This study solved the problem of a low spray deposition rate within a canopy and has potential applications in agricultural plant protection.

PurposeRecurrent tuberculosis (TB) is defined by more than one TB episode per patient and is caused by re-infection with a new Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) strain or relapse with the previous strain. Recurrence of TB is one important obstacle for End TB strategy in the world and elucidating the triggers of recurrence is important for the current TB control strategy in China. This study aimed to analyze the sources of recurrent TB by the molecular genotyping method.MethodA population-based surveillance was undertaking on all culture-positive TB cases in Jiangsu province, China from 2013 to 2019. Phenotypic drug susceptibility test (DST) by proportion method and mycobacterial interspersed repetitive units-variable number of tandem repeat (MIRU-VNTR) were adopted for drug resistance and genotype detection.ResultsA total of 1451 culture-positive TB patients were collected and 30 (2.06%, 30/1451) TB cases had recurrent TB episodes. Except 7 isolates were failed during subculture, 23 paired isolates were assessed. After genotyping by MIRU-VNTR, 12 (52.17%, 12/23) paired recurrence TB were demonstrated as relapse and 11 (47.83%,11/23) paired cases were identified as re-infection. The average interval time for recurrence was 24.04 (95%CI: 19.37-28.71) months, and there was no significant difference between relapse and re-infection. For the relapsed cases, two paired isolates exhibited drug resistance shifting, while four paired isolates revealed inconsistent drug resistance among the re-infection group including two multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) at the second episode.ConclusionRelapse and re-infection contributed equally to the current situation of recurrence TB in Jiangsu, China. Besides, more efficient treatment assessment, specific and vigorous interventions are urgently needed for MDR-TB patients, considering obvious performance among re-infection cases.

Objective Tuberculosis (TB) incidence shows a seasonal trend. The purpose of this study was to explore seasonal trends in TB cases in Jiangsu Province. Methods TB case data were collected from the TB registration system from 2014 to 2018. The X12-ARIMA model was used to adjust the Jiangsu TB time series. Analysis of variance was used to compare TB seasonal amplitude (SA) between subgroups and identify factors responsible for seasonal variation. Results The TB incidence in Jiangsu showed a seasonal trend. Confirmed active TB peaked in March and reached a minimum in February. The amplitude of the peak-to-bottom difference was 38.15%. The SAs in individuals 7 to 17 years old (80.00%) and students (71.80%) were significantly different than those in other subgroups. Among bacterial culture positive individuals, the SAs among female patients, individuals aged 7 to 17 years and students were significantly different from those in the reference group. Among culture-negative patients, the SA among individuals aged 7 to 17 years was significantly different those in other subgroups. Conclusions The TB incidence in Jiangsu Province displayed a seasonal trend. Factors related to seasonal variation were age and occupation. Our results highlight the importance of controlling Mycobacterium tuberculosis transmission during winter.

BackgroundSOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2-OT) produces alternatively spliced long non-coding RNAs (lncRNA). Previous studies of the prognostic role of SOX2-OT expression met with conflicting results. The aim of this study was to properly consider the prognostic role of SOX2-OT expression in several cancers. In addition, the regulative mechanism of SOX2-OT is explored.MethodsPubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database were comprehensively explored to recover pertinent studies. We conducted an extensive inquiry to verify the implication of SOX2-OT expression in cancer patients by conducting a meta-analysis of 13 selected studies. Thirty-two TCGA databases were used to analyze the connection between SOX2-OT expression and both the overall survival (OS) and clinicopathological characteristics of cancer patients using R and STATA 13.0. Trial sequential analysis (TSA) was adopted in order to compute the studies’ power.ResultsThirteen studies involving 1172 cancer patients and 32 TCGA cancer types involving 9676 cancer patients were eventually selected. Elevated SOX2-OT expression was significantly related to shorter OS (HR = 2.026, 95% CI: 1.691–2.428, P < 0.0001) and disease-free survival (DFS) (HR = 2.554, 95% CI: 1.261–5.174, P = 0.0092) in cancer patients. Meanwhile, TSA substantiated adequate power to demonstrate the relationship between SOX2-OT expression and OS. The cancer patients with elevated SOX2-OT expression were more likely to have advanced clinical stage (RR = 1.468, 95% CI: 1.106–1.949, P = 0.0079), earlier lymphatic metastasis (P = 0.0005), earlier distant metastasis (P < 0.0001), greater tumor size (P < 0.0001), and more extreme tumor invasion (P < 0.0001) compared to those with low SOX2-OT expression. Meta-regression and subgroup analysis revealed that follow-up time, sample type, and tumor type could significantly contribute to heterogeneity for survival outcomes. The follow-up time could significantly explain heterogeneity for tumor, node, metastasis (TNM) stage. Furthermore, up to 500 validated target genes were distinguished, and the gene oncology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses demonstrated that the validated targets of SOX2-OT were substantially enriched in cell adhesion, mRNA binding, and mRNA surveillance pathways.ConclusionsElevated expression of SOX2-OT predicted a poor OS and DFS. Overexpression of SOX2-OT was correlated with more advanced tumor stage, earlier lymphatic metastasis, earlier distant metastasis, larger tumor size, and deeper tumor invasion. SOX2-OT-mediated cell adhesion, mRNA binding, or mRNA surveillance could be intrinsic mechanisms for invasion and metastasis.

The fracture failure of a high-speed long rod has historically been a challenge. Since the flying plate and flying rod have a relatively low velocity, it is challenging to achieve a multi-stage fracture of the high-speed long rod within the range of existing technology. In this paper, the linear explosively formed penetrators (LEFPs) sequence with a stable flight velocity of 850 m/s were used to cut a high-speed long rod. We investigated the deformation and fracture of Φ10 mm tungsten alloy long rods having different length-diameter ratios (20, 26, 35) and different speeds (1200, 1400, 1600 m/s) by employing the LEFPs sequence with different spacings (0–40 mm) and different interception angles (30°, 60°). In the meantime, the fractured rods movement pattern was recorded with a high-speed camera to elucidate the change law of the length, speed, linear momentum, and angular momentum of fractured rods. It was found that the length loss rate of the fractured rods is as high as 27%. The fractured rods rotated around the center of mass, and the vertical speed change could reach up to 18% of the muzzle velocity of the long rod, and the greatest reduction of horizontal speed and momentum could reach 37%. The longer the interaction time between LEFPs sequence and the long rod, the more beneficial the failure of the long rod. The application of LEFPs sequence solved the difficult problem of disabling the high-speed long rod, and the quantitative analysis of the fracture failure of the long rod had an important sense for studying the terminal penetration effect of the fractured rods.

Abstract The regenerative treatment of infectious vertical bone defects remains difficult and challenging today. Current clinical treatments are limited in their ability to control bacteria and infection, which is unfavorable for new bone formation and calls for a new type of material with excellent osteogenic and antibacterial properties. Here a multifunctional scaffold is synthesized that mimics natural bone nanostructures by incorporating silver nanowires into a hierarchical, intrafibrillar mineralized collagen matrix (IMC/AgNWs), to achieve the therapeutic goals of inhibiting bacterial activity and promoting infectious alveolar bone augmentation in rats and beagle dogs. An appropriate concentration of 0.5 mg mL−1 AgNWs is selected to balance biocompatibility and antibacterial properties. The achieved IMC/AgNWs exhibit a broad spectrum of antimicrobial properties against Gram‐negative Porphyromonas gingivalis and Gram‐positive Streptococcus mutans. When the IMC/AgNWs are cocultured with periodontal ligament stem cells, it possesses excellent osteoinductive activities under both non‐inflammatory and inflammatory conditions. By constructing a rat mandibular infected periodontal defect model, the IMC/AgNWs achieve a near‐complete healing through the canonical BMP/Smad signaling. Moreover, the IMC/AgNWs enhance vertical bone height and osseointegration in peri‐implantitis in beagle dogs, indicating the clinical translational potential of IMC/AgNWs for infectious vertical bone augmentation.

Background: The expression profiles of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) during pupal development have been demonstrated to be vital in age estimation of forensic entomological study. Here, using forensically important Aldrichina grahami (Diptera: Calliphoridae), we aimed to explore the potential of intrapuparial stage aging and postmortem interval (PMI) estimation based on characterization of successive developmental transcriptomes and gene expression patterns. Methods: We collected A. grahami pupae at 11 successive intrapuparial stages at 20 °C and used the RNA-seq technique to build the transcriptome profiles of their intrapuparial stages. The DEGs were identified during the different intrapuparial stages using comparative transcriptome analysis. The selected marker DEGs were classified and clustered for intrapuparial stage aging and PMI estimation and then further verified for transcriptome data validation. Ultimately, we categorized the overall gene expression levels as the dependent variable and the age of intrapuparial A. grahami as the independent variable to conduct nonlinear regression analysis. Results: We redefined the intrapuparial stages of A. grahami into five key successive substages (I, II, III, IV, and V), based on the overall gene expression patterns during pupal development. We screened 99 specific time-dependent expressed genes (stage-specific DEGs) to determine the different intrapuparial stages based on comparison of the gene expression levels during the 11 developmental intrapuparial stages of A. grahami. We observed that 55 DEGs showed persistent upregulation during the development of intrapuparial A. grahami. We then selected four DEGs (act79b, act88f, up and ninac) which presented consistent upregulation using RT-qPCR (quantitative real-time PCR) analysis, along with consideration of the maximum fold changes during the pupal development. We conducted nonlinear regression analysis to simulate the calculations of the relationships between the expression levels of the four selected DEGs and the developmental time of intrapuparial A. grahami and constructed fitting curves. The curves demonstrated that act79b and ninac showed continuous relatively increasing levels. Conclusions: This study redefined the intrapuparial stages of A. grahami based on expression profiles of developmental transcriptomes for the first time. The stage-specific DEGs and those with consistent tendencies of expression were found to have potential in age estimation of intrapuparial A. grahami and could be supplementary to a more accurate prediction of PMI.

Abstract The application of network formulaology and network pharmacology has significantly advanced the scientific understanding of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment mechanisms in disease. The field of herbal biology is experiencing a surge in data generation. However, researchers are encountering challenges due to the fragmented nature of the data and the reliance on programming tools for data analysis. We have developed TCMNPAS, a comprehensive analysis platform that integrates network formularology and network pharmacology. This platform is designed to investigate in-depth the compatibility characteristics of TCM formulas and their potential molecular mechanisms. TCMNPAS incorporates multiple resources and offers a range of functions designed for automated analysis implementation, including prescription mining, molecular docking, network pharmacology analysis, and visualization. These functions enable researchers to analyze and obtain core herbs and core formulas from herbal prescription data through prescription mining. Additionally, TCMNPAS facilitates virtual screening of active compounds in TCM and its formulas through batch molecular docking, allowing for the rapid construction and analysis of networks associated with “herb-compound-target-pathway” and disease targets. Built upon the integrated analysis concept of network formulaology and network pharmacology, TCMNPAS enables quick point-and-click completion of network-based association analysis, spanning from core formula mining from clinical data to the exploration of therapeutic targets for disease treatment. TCMNPAS serves as a powerful platform for uncovering the combinatorial rules and mechanism of TCM formulas holistically. Objective To quantify the trends in systolic and diastolic blood pressure (BP) among adults in Shenzhen from 1997 to 2018.Design Cross-sectional study.Settings The data were collected from all districts in Shenzhen, China in the years of 1997, 2009 and 2018 by multistage cluster sampling procedure.Participants Participants were residents aged 18–69 years in Shenzhen, China. A total of 26 621 people were included: 8266 people in 1997, 8599 people in 2009 and 9756 people in 2018.Primary and secondary outcome measures All participants were surveyed about their sociodemographic and lifestyle information. BP was measured by trained physicians using a mercury sphygmomanometer. Hypertension was defined as systolic BP of at least 140 mm Hg and diastolic BP of at least 90 mm Hg, self-reported use of antihypertensive medications or both. Blockchain technology is considered to be a disruptive technology that has real potential for change after steam engines, electricity, and the Internet. However, in terms of power generation, the current level of hydropower development in my country is only 39%. Compared with developed countries, there is still a big gap and a high development space. This article proposes a research on the application of blockchain technology in smart sustainable energy business models, studies the conversion path of sustainable energy systems, introduces integrated energy service blockchain technology, and builds a sustainable energy transition model. The selection of practical dimensions requires both Quantitative indicators also require cultural and behavioral qualitative indicators; finally, through the analysis of social development trends and government policies, the external variable landscape signals are parameterized. Sustainable energy rather than fossil energy is the energy of the future. Weak landscape signals have significantly weakened the development of the sustainable energy niche: the proportion of coal consumption has declined slowly. Although it has transformed from a system to a niche, it has always been higher than that of other energy types. Only with long-term landscape pressure, positive changes to sustainable energy technologies and infrastructure, and continuous changes in consumer preferences, can sustainable energy ultimately dominate.
