To explore the spread of rumors in social network, based on the principles of coupling network, the model of RD-IHSAT was established on Barabási-Albert (BA) scale free network and Watts-Strogatz (WS) small world network.The classic model of SIR was optimized, by combining it with three concerns, the interest decay, the social consensus and the spiral of silence effect, and adding four roles, hesitated, adherent, reticent and debunker.Results of numerical simulations are as follows: an information outbreak can be triggered by coupling network, not only the spreading speed but the scale as well; the dissemination can be markedly suppressed when the probability of rumor-refuting for the hesitated and spreaders arises; the chances of transition from spreaders to adherents drop; increasing the proportion of silent groups is a key part of curbing the spread of rumors; the control of the time lag in refuting rumors will greatly affect the effect of refuting rumors.

Abstract Objective The present study was designed to explore endurable pressure intensity of different paranasal sinus mucosa in goats. Method Mucosa commonly involved in maxillary sinus augmentation, including mucosa from maxillary sinus crest, maxillary sinus floor, and frontal sinus, were harvested in a computed tomography-guided manner. The obtained mucosa was then sectioned into square and irregular ones for maximum endurable pressure intensity determination and morphological observation, respectively. Results Thickness of paranasal sinus mucosa, as determined under morphological staining by an optical microscope with a graduated eyepiece, were calculated. And the results showed that the average thickness of maxillary sinus crest mucosa, floor mucosa, and frontal sinus mucosa in goats were 410.03 ± 65.97 μm, 461.33 ± 91.37 μm and 216.90 ± 46.47 μm, respectively. Obtaining accurate depth information is key to robot grasping tasks. However, for transparent objects, RGB-D cameras have difficulty perceiving them owing to the objects' refraction and reflection properties. This property makes it difficult for humanoid robots to perceive and grasp everyday transparent objects. To remedy this, existing studies usually remove transparent object areas using a model that learns patterns from the remaining opaque areas so that depth estimations can be completed. Notably, this frequently leads to deviations from the ground truth. In this study, we propose a new depth completion method [i.e., ClueDepth Grasp (CDGrasp)] that works more effectively with transparent objects in RGB-D images. Specifically, we propose a ClueDepth module, which leverages the geometry method to filter-out refractive and reflective points while preserving the correct depths, consequently providing crucial positional clues for object location. To acquire sufficient features to complete the depth map, we design a DenseFormer network that integrates DenseNet to extract local features and swin-transformer blocks to obtain the required global information. Furthermore, to fully utilize the information obtained from multi-modal visual maps, we devise a Multi-Modal U-Net Module to capture multiscale features. Extensive experiments conducted on the ClearGrasp dataset show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance in terms of accuracy and generalization of depth completion for transparent objects, and the successful employment of a humanoid robot grasping capability verifies the efficacy of our proposed method.

In this paper, a discussion is made on the consensus tracking control by iterative learning method for high-order nonlinear multi-agent systems. Among them, all agents with initial state errors are enabled to perform a given repetitive task over a finite interval. The method proposed can achieve consensus tracking through a series of initial shifts correction actions. In the process of tracking, this algorithm rectifies the initial error of the state $x_{n}$ of each agent at first, then the error of $x_{n-1}$ , and so on. All of these rectifying actions are finished in a specified interval. Furthermore, the algorithm has shown effective in the improvement of tracking performance through simulation.

A photonic scheme generating ternary modulated signals, which include amplitude, phase, and frequency modulated signals, has been proposed and demonstrated. This scheme is based on a dual-polarization dual-parallel Mach-Zehnder modulator (DP-DPMZM), where the X-DPMZM is used to generate an optical frequency comb (OFC), and the Y-DPMZM is utilized to accomplish ternary modulation. The key feature of this scheme is that ternary modulated signals with eight wavebands can be obtained by using only the DP-DPMZM in situations of different input signals. In the simulation, a 2.5 Gbit/s amplitude shift keying (ASK), phase shift keying signal (PSK), or an 8 GHz bandwidth linearly frequency modulated (LFM) signal are obtained. The generated signals have eight wavebands with a large frequency range from 10 GHz to 80 GHz. Moreover, the recovery and pulse compression performances of the generated signals are evaluated.

Background: Osteotome sinus floor elevation is a less invasive approach to augment an insufficient alveolar bone at the posterior maxilla for dental implantation. However, this approach has some limitations due to the lack of sinus lift tools available for clinical use and the small transcrestal access to the maxillary sinus floor. We recently invented shape-memory Ni/Ti alloy wire containing tube elevators for transcrestal detaching maxillary sinus mucosa, and developed goat ex vivo models for direct visualizing the effectiveness of detaching sinus mucosa in real time during transcrestal maxillary sinus floor elevation. Methods: We evaluated our invented elevators, namely elevator 012 and elevator 014, for their effectiveness for transcrestal detaching maxillary sinus mucosa using the goat ex vivo models. We measured the length of sinus mucosa detached in mesial and distal directions or buccal and palatal directions, and the space volume created by detaching maxillary sinus mucosa in mesial, distal, buccal and palatal directions using the invented elevators. Results: Elevator 012 had a shape-memory Ni/Ti alloy wire with a diameter of 0.012 inch, while elevator 014 had its shape-memory Ni/Ti alloy wire with a diameter of 0.014 inch. Elevator 012 could detach the goat maxillary sinus mucosa in the mesial or distal direction for 12.1±4.3 mm, while in the buccal or palatal direction for 12.5±6.7 mm. The elevator 014 could detach the goat maxillary sinus mucosa for 23.0±4.9 mm in the mesial or distal direction, and for 19.0±8.1 mm in the buccal or palatal direction. An average space volume of 1.7936±0.2079 ml was created after detaching the goat maxillay sinus mucosa in both mesial/distal direction and buccal/palatal direction using elevator 012; while the average space volume created using elevator 014 was 1.8764±0.2366 ml. Conclusion: Both two newly invented tube elevators could effectively detach the maxillary sinus mucosa on the goat ex vivo sinus models. Moreover, elevator 014 has advantages over the elevator 012 for the capability to detach sinus mucosa.

In this paper, the problem of consensus tracking control for a class of second-order leader-following nonparametric uncertain multi-agent systems, which perform a given repetitive task over a finite interval with arbitrary initial error. By means of learning control and initial shift rectifying, a first-order attractor control algorithm is presented. In the tracking process, the proposed algorithm simultaneously rectifies all the initial state shifts, and after enough iterations, the all following multi-agents' states perfectly track the leader's state in the preset time interval. A new microwave photonic link to simultaneously transmit and detect two microwave vector signals modulated on a single optical carrier based on orthogonal modulation and optical Hilbert transformation is proposed and demonstrated, for the first time to the best of our knowledge. In the proposed system, two microwave vector signals are phase and intensity modulated on a single optical carrier at a dual-parallel Mach--Zehnder modulator and transmitted over a single-mode fiber (SMF). At the receiver, the optical signal is applied directly to a photodetector (PD) to recover the microwave vector signal that is intensity modulated and the second microwave vector signal is recovered by using an on-chip optical Hilbert transformer (OHT) to perform phase-modulation to intensity-modulation conversion followed by photodetection at a second PD. An experiment is performed. The transmission of a 16QAM and a QPSK signal with a total data rate of 2.4 Gb/s over a 10-km SMF is implemented. The performance of the transmission in terms of error vector magnitude, bit error rate, and energy efficiency is evaluated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background/purpose • Prosthetic implants are the primary treatment for patients with edentulism. This study aims to explore and compare the biological characteristics of mucosal thickness and tensile strength of the paranasal sinuses (maxillary and frontal sinuses) in goats, thereby providing a theoretical basis and guidance for mucosa-related problems involved in maxillary sinus lifting. Materials and methods • The paranasal sinus mucosa (maxillary sinus crest, maxillary sinus floor and frontal sinus mucosa) was obtained from the goats for use in maxillary sinus lifting. The mucosa was made into tissue section specimens and evaluated by a computer with built-in screenshot software and an optical microscope with a graduated eyepiece. A total of 3 readings were randomly selected and recorded. The mucosa was clamped with a laboratory-made clamp device. After connecting the push-pull meter, the mucosa exposed by the inner ring of the clamp device was pressed vertically and uniformly until it ruptured. The strength value was read and recorded. The left and right ends of the mucosa were connected with the clamp device; horizontal tension was applied evenly to the mucosa until the mucosa ruptured. The strength value was read and recorded. The normality test, analysis of variance, LSD pairwise comparison and linear regression were performed for each group of data. Results • The thicknesses of the maxillary sinus crest mucosa, floor mucosa and frontal sinus mucosa in goats were 410.03 ± 65.97 um, 461.33 ± 91.37 um and 216.90 ± 46.47 um, respectively. There were significant differences between the maxillary sinus crest and frontal sinus and the maxillary sinus floor and frontal sinus (P < .05). The range of tensile strength of the maxillary sinus crest mucosa, floor mucosa and frontal sinus mucosa in goats was 0.48 ± 0.10 kg, 0.54 ± 0.11kg and 0.20 ± 0.05kg, respectively. There were significant differences between the maxillary sinus crest and frontal sinus and the maxillary sinus floor and frontal sinus (P < .05). Tensile strength was positively correlated with the thickness of the mucosa of the maxillary and frontal sinuses (P < .05). Conclusion • The mucosal thickness and tensile strength of the maxillary sinus crest and floor were greater than those of the frontal sinus mucosa. Objective: To compare the stripping length obtained through the model of 0.012 and 0.014 of the nickel-titanium dual-stage maxillary sinus mucosa stripper, and the umbrella detacher., Methods: Twenty-four goats (1.5-2 years old) were chosen, randomly divided into A, B, C groups, each group of eight. Group A was 0.012 model group, group B was 0.014 model group, group C was umbrella detacher group. Animal model was established, and maxillary sinus mucosa was stripped to the left and right sides of the bottom of the sinus in three groups. The data was measured when stripping to the limit or being perforated., Results: The average length of group A was 12.41 mm±4.35 mm, two cases perforated. The average length of group B was 23.38 mm±4.84 mm, one case perforated. The average length of group C was 2.61 mm±0.30 mm. The population mean of stripping length in three groups was not all the same calculated by analysis of variance (P<0.01). There were significant differences in the stripping length of the three groups by the SNK test (P<0.05)., Conclusions: The nickel-titanium dual-stage maxillary sinus mucosa stripper can achieve a larger mucosal stripping range. The stripper with a model of 0.014 has a moderate flexibility and safety, and it can strip a large area of sinus mucosa.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the differences of membrane thickness and pressure on the paranasal sinus membrane in goats and analyze their causes. The results can provide theoretical basis and guidance for the issues of the maxillary sinus floor augmentation related to the membrane., Methods: The membrane was cut into two sizes from every sinus membrane. The membrane was fixed in formalin to obtain tissue specimens for the membrane thickness study and pressure study. The correlation between the two parameters was then analyzed, and appropriate statistical methods and software were selected., Results: The top of maxillary sinus, the bottom of maxillary sinus and the frontal sinus membrane thickness were (410.03 ± 65.97), (461.33 ± 91.37), (216.90 ± 46.47) µm. The pressure were (260.08 ± 80.12), (306.90 ± 94.37), (121.72 ± 31.72) kPa. The mean differences of the membrane thickness between the top of the maxillary sinus and the frontal sinus, bottom and frontal, and top and bottom were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The mean differences in membrane pressure were also statistically significant (P < 0.05)., Conclusion: The membrane thickness and pressure of the top and bottom of the maxillary sinus are higher than those of the frontal sinus membrane. However, the thickness and pressure of the bottom membrane are slightly higher than those of the top membrane. Pressure and membrane thickness are positively correlated in the sinus membrane.
