Hyperspectral remote sensing technology, with its high spectral resolution and high spatial resolution, plays a more and more important role in the quantitative remote sensing monitoring of black soil. In order to extract the information from the current spectrum and the object-oriented method, it is impossible to integrate the spectral domain and the space domain to explore the feasibility of the frequency domain processing method to improve the recognition accuracy. The CASI/SASI aero hyperspectral data are obtained from the Jiansanjiang area of Northeast China, and 60 samples are collected on the ground, and the content of organic matter is tested. The characteristics of the amplitude spectrum and phase spectrum of the typical black land are studied, and an adaptive classifier based on Gauss filter is designed for the hyper spectral space spectrum analysis algorithm, and an air spectrum classification framework based on the optimization of the ground laboratory data is constructed. Compared with the traditional hyperspectral classification algorithm, the frequency domain recognition and extraction algorithm proposed in this paper have described and characterized the hyperspectral data from a new viewpoint, which solve the uncertainty of hyperspectral data. In the future, this method may be a new thought to improve the traditional data processing method.

Aiming at the problem of low accuracy in evaluating the content of hematite, goethite and limonite by hyper-spectral technology, this paper proposed a method for estimating iron oxide abundance in surface rocks by using airborne hyper-spectral data CASI. The research is started with accurate and reliable data collection. Then, the airborne hyper-spectral data were preprocessed, including geometric rectification, radiation correction, atmospheric correction and spectral reconstruction. Basing on that, the spatial distributing information of hematite, goethite and limonite had been extracted. Besides, according to the spectral absorption features, the iron relative abundance inversion model was built. Finally, combining with the geological setting of study area and previous study, the authors forecast other favorable target areas using alteration distribution map. The results reveal that extraction of anomalies agrees with the ore-bearing strata. Mineralization clues have been found in prediction areas, which show practical meanings.

L-Cysteine plays a prominent role in sulfur metabolism of plants. However, its role in root development is largely unknown. Here, we report that L-cysteine reduces primary root growth in a dosage-dependent manner. Elevating cellular L-cysteine level by exposing Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings to high L-cysteine, buthionine sulphoximine, or O-acetylserine leads to altered auxin maximum in root tips, the expression of quiescent center cell marker as well as the decrease of the auxin carriers PIN1, PIN2, PIN3, and PIN7 of primary roots. We also show that high L-cysteine significantly reduces the protein level of two sets of stem cell specific transcription factors PLETHORA1/2 and SCR/SHR. However, L-cysteine does not downregulate the transcript level of PINs, PLTs, or SCR/SHR, suggesting that an uncharacterized post-transcriptional mechanism may regulate the accumulation of PIN, PLT, and SCR/SHR proteins and auxin transport in the root tips. These results suggest that endogenous L-cysteine level acts to maintain root stem cell niche by regulating basal- and auxin-induced expression of PLT1/2 and SCR/SHR. L-Cysteine may serve as a link between sulfate assimilation and auxin in regulating root growth.

Face detection is the key point in automatic face recognition system. This paper introduces the face detection algorithm with a cascade of Adaboost classifiers and how to configure OpenCV in MCVS. Using OpenCV realized the face detection. And a detailed analysis of the face detection results is presented. Through experiment, we found that the method used in this article has a high accuracy rate and better real-time.

The traditional data processing and analysis method of remote sensing image processing system cannot meet the hyperspectral remote sensing mass data processing and the need of practical application in mineral resources exploration. By studying the systematical analysis and key technology on the hyperspectral mineral information identification module, and analyzing and thinking about the relevant theoretical methods and technical process, carried out the development of hyperspectral mineral information identification module based on IDL and integrated with ENVI software, providing the basic support platform for hyperspectral remote sensing mineral resources exploration. Meanwhile, the existing problems were discussed from the spectral characteristics mechanism analysis of rock and the hyperspectral mineral identification optimization algorithms.

Aerial hyperspectral data have the characteristic of big size and complicated process, but we often need to extract information from aerial hyperspectral data quickly in practical work. To solve the contradiction between huge hyperspectral data and the demand of extracting information quickly, this paper researches the batch processing which based on traditional technique flow of alteration information extraction. The experiment result indicates this batch processing is an efficient technique to increase information extraction speed.

For airborne radar, there are usually insufficient independent and identically distributed (IID) training data because of geometric considerations and terrain variations. The rank reduction technique is one of the most effective approaches to circumvent this problem. In this study, we investigate four reduced-rank spacetime adaptive detectors for airborne radar, namely, the reduced-rank sample-matrix-inversion (RR-SMI), the reduced-rank adaptive matched filter (RR-AMF), the reduced-rank adaptive coherence estimator (RR-ACE), and the reduced-rank generalized likelihood ratio test (RR-GLRT). Their asymptotic analytical probabilities of detection (PD’s) and false alarm (PFA’s) are all derived. These detectors all asymptotically attain a constant false alarm rate (CFAR). It is shown that these four reduced-rank detectors exhibit detection performance which is better than or comparable to that of two existing reduced-rank detectors, proposed by Reed and Gau (RG1 and RG2). Moreover, these four reduced-rank detectors are more robust to change in power of clutter and noise than RG1 and RG2.

As an ancient arthropod with a history of 390 million years, spiders evolved numerous morphological forms resulting from adaptation to different environments. The venom and silk of spiders, which have promising commercial applications in agriculture, medicine and engineering fields, are of special interests to researchers. However, little is known about their genomic components, which hinders not only understanding spider biology but also utilizing their valuable genes. Here we report on deep sequenced and de novo assembled transcriptomes of three orb-web spider species, Gasteracantha arcuata, Nasoonaria sinensis and Gasteracantha hasselti which are distributed in tropical forests of south China. With Illumina paired-end RNA-seq technology, 54 871, 101 855 and 75 455 unigenes for the three spider species were obtained, respectively, among which 9 300, 10 001 and 10 494 unique genes are annotated, respectively. From these annotated unigenes, we comprehensively analyzed silk and toxin gene components and structures for the three spider species. Our study provides valuable transcriptome data for three spider species which previously lacked any genetic/genomic data. The results have laid the first fundamental genomic basis for exploiting gene resources from these spiders.

The paper analyzes the theories of nuclear leakage accident information extraction based on 3S technology, and studying roundly the building process of GIS spatial and temporal databases; the contents of RS images collection and the function of GPS geography position information. In addition, information extraction and analysis methods both on spatial dimension and temporal dimension are summarized. The spatial distribution and trend of radiation leak after the nuclear accident are simulated by trend surface model. Calculation and mapping shows the variation of the radiation value with time using time series analysis model.

The basic principle of the wavelet analysis method to extract the mineral spectral absorption characteristics is summarized and different wavelet bases,wavelet decomposition scale extraction effect are analyzed in this paper. Then, the algorithm of mineral spectral absorption characteristics based on wavelet spectral analysis is provided and a large number of experiments are carried out using the spectrums of field rock mineral. Experimental result shows that such a method is less affected by original signal noise and depict the parameters of the mineral spectral absorption feature more precise, which is an ideal spectral feature extraction method compared with the traditional mineral spectral absorption feature extraction method.

This paper studied the key technology of the extraction of urban road information using high-resolution QuickBird image. And this paper discussed the road information extraction algorithms, K-mean image clustering and segmentation algorithm, lambda-schedule image merging algorithm and the construction of knowledge database using spectral and shape features, from three angles, image segmentation algorithm, image merging algorithm and specific road information extraction algorithm. Studies showed that, after the introduction of the spectral and texture information, road extraction method reached a higher area and shape consistency, and provide a valuable reference for related research in the field.

The transdsermal delivery of insulin remains a significant challenge due to low permeation rates at therapeutically useful rates. We report unilamellar nanovesicles with membrane thickness of 3-5 nm and entrapment efficiency of 89.05+/-0.91%, which can be driven by iontophoresis for enhancing transdermal delivery of insulin through microneedle-induced skin microchannels. The permeation rates of insulin from positive nanovesicles driven by iontophoresis through skins with microneedle-induced microchannels were 713.3 times higher than that of its passive diffusion. The in vivo studies show that the blood glucose levels of diabetic rats induced by the positive nanovesicles driven by iontophoresis through skins with microneedle-induced microchannels are 33.3% and 28.3% of the initial levels at 4 and 6 h, which are comparable to those induced by subcutaneous injection of insulin. The fluorescence imaging validated the penetration of insulin from the nanovesicles driven by iontophoresis through skins with microchannels. The nanovesicles with charges show significant permeation ability with the assistance of physical devices including microneedles and iontophoresis. This approach offers a new strategy for non-invasive delivery of peptides with large molecular weights using nanovesicles.

To understand the DNA-methylation mediated gene silencing mechanisms, we analyzed in cell culture of the promoter function of the MAGE-A1 gene, which is frequently demethylated and over-expressed in human hepatocellular carcinoma. We have established the correlation of the DNA methylation of the promoter CpG island with expression status of this gene in a panel of the established liver cancer cell lines. The crucial CpG dinucleotide(s) within the minimal promoter subjected to the control mediated by DNA methylation with profound biological functions was also delineated. Furthermore, a novel sequence-specific DNA-protein interaction at the -30 CpG dinucleotide upstream of the gene was found having a vital part to play in the DNA methylation mediated transcription silencing of the MAGE-A1 gene. Our results would not only provide new insights into the DNA methylation mediated mechanisms over transcription of the MAGE-A1 gene, but also pave the way for further defining the cross-talk among DNA methylation, histone modification and chromatin remodeling in detail.

When detecting low-attitude targets, the angular accuracy of the meter-wave radar will descend because of the multipath reflecting from ground. Since the multipath signal can be regarded as a multipath jamming coming from the mainlobe, we propose an angle measurement based on the mainlobe multipath jamming suppression. The weight of the new approach is obtained through certain constraints on the sum-difference beams, which can suppress the jamming and keep the curve of the monopulse ratio unchanged. Then form sum-difference beams and calculate the ratio of the monopulse ratio of the target. Finally, obtain the angle of the target through the determination of the smallest difference between the monopulse ratio of the target and the quiescent monopulse ratio. The method proposed in this paper can preserve good precision of the measurement angle. The result is verified by computer simulation.

To investigate whether mitochondria permeability transition pore (mPTP) opening was involved in ginsenoside Rb1 (Gs-Rb1) induced anti-hypoxia effects in neonatal rat cardiomyocytes ex vivo.Cardiomyocytes were randomly divided into 7 groups: control group, hypoxia group (500 micromol/L CoCl(2)), Gs-Rb1 200 micromol/L group (CoCl(2) intervention+Gs-Rb1), wortmannin (PI3K inhibitor) 0.5 micromol/L group, wortmannin+Gs-Rb1 group, adenine 9-beta-D-arabinofuranoside (Ara A, AMPK inhibitor) 500 micromol/L group, and Ara A and Gs-Rb1 group. Apoptosis rate was determined by using flow cytometry. The opening of the transient mPTP was assessed by using co-loading with calcein AM and CoCl(2) in high conductance mode. Expression of GSK-3beta, cytochrome c, caspase-3 and poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) was measured by using Western blotting. DeltaGSK-3beta was defined as the ratio of p-Ser9-GSK-3beta to total GSK-3beta.CoCl(2) significantly stimulated mPTP opening and up-regulated the level of DeltaGSK-3beta. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between apoptosis rate and mPTP opening, between apoptosis rate and DeltaGSK-3beta, and between mPTP opening and DeltaGSK-3beta. Gs-Rb1 significantly inhibited mPTP opening induced by hypoxia (41.3%+/-2.0%, P0.001) . Gs-Rb1 caused a 77.3%+/-3.2% reduction in the expression of GSK-3beta protein (P0.001) and a significant increase of 1.182+/-0.007-fold (P=0.0001) in p-Ser9-GSK-3beta compared with control group. Wortmannin and Ara A significantly inhibited the effect of Gs-Rb1 on mPTP opening and DeltaGSK-3beta. Gs-Rb1 significantly decreased expression of cytochrome c (66.1%+/-1.7%, P=0.001), caspase-3 (56.5%+/-2.7%, P=0.001) and cleaved poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) (57.9%+/-1.4%, P=0.001).Gs-Rb1 exerted anti-hypoxia effect on neonatal rat cardiomyocytes by inhibiting GSK-3beta-mediated mPTP opening.

It is very important to disrupt the stratum corneum structure and to create pathways allowing transport of macromolecules, as the traditional transdermal drug delivery has been severely limited by the skin barrier. With the development of the Micro Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS), it becomes possible for microneedles array to strengthen the transdermal drug delivery. In addition to the increase of the skin permeability, it can also be used to deliver drugs into skin, such as insulin and vaccine, providing a new direction for drug delivery systems. In this paper, we review the development and applications in transdermal drug delivery of microneedles' array. The commercial prospects and recommendations for the future research work are also represented.

A pulse induction type magnetic field sensor using an amorphous ribbon as sensing material is described. Its operation principle is based on the dependency of the magnetic properties of the ribbon on ambient magnetic field. Because of the minimal use of active elements simple structure actuate sensitivity (as high as 14V/mT) and good thermostability (as small as O. OO8pT/C) this kind of magnetic field sensor consisting of pulse current sources coils with an amorphous core and induction voltage detectors is successfully used in monitoring the core mandrel of a cold rolling mill for seamless steel pipes. 1

A low-cost medical image processing system suitable to China and other developing nations is described. The system can acquire and process all kinds of medical images in the form of video signals. The processing functions are performed by a single-board computer (Z80 Exerciser II). At present, the system can perform image geometric processing, enhancement, and edge detection and can add characters or marks to the image. After further developments (mainly software) for special applications the system is expected to find many uses in medicine. >
