Shape optimization has been playing an important role in a large variety of engineering applications. Existing shape optimization methods are generally mesh-dependent and therefore encounter challenges due to mesh deformation. To overcome this limitation, we present a new adjoint-oriented neural network method, AONN-2, for PDE-constrained shape optimization problems. This method extends the capabilities of the original AONN method [1], which is developed for efficiently solving parametric optimal control problems. AONN-2 inherits the direct-adjoint looping (DAL) framework for computing the extremum of an objective functional and the neural network methods for solving complicated PDEs from AONN. Furthermore, AONN-2 expands the application scope to shape optimization by taking advantage of the shape derivatives to optimize the shape represented by discrete boundary points. AONN-2 is a fully mesh-free shape optimization approach, naturally sidestepping issues related to mesh deformation, with no need for maintaining mesh quality and additional mesh corrections. Parametric optimal control problems governed by partial differential equations (PDEs) are widely found in scientific and engineering applications. Traditional grid-based numerical methods for such problems generally require repeated solutions of PDEs with different parameter settings, which is computationally prohibitive especially for problems with high-dimensional parameter spaces. Although recently proposed neural network methods make it possible to obtain the optimal solutions simultaneously for different parameters, challenges still remain when dealing with problems with complex constraints. In this paper, we propose AONN, an adjoint-oriented neural network method, to overcome the limitations of existing approaches in solving parametric optimal control problems. In AONN, the neural networks are served as parametric surrogate models for the control, adjoint and state functions to get the optimal solutions all at once. In order to reduce the training difficulty and handle complex constraints, we introduce an iterative training framework inspired by the classical direct-adjoint looping (DAL) method so that penalty terms arising from the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) system can be avoided. Once the training is done, parameter-specific optimal solutions can be quickly computed through the forward propagation of the neural networks, which may be further used for analyzing the parametric properties of the optimal solutions. Document-level RE requires reading, inferring and aggregating over multiple sentences. From our point of view, it is necessary for document-level RE to take advantage of multi-granularity inference information: entity level, sentence level and document level. Thus, how to obtain and aggregate the inference information with different granularity is challenging for document-level RE, which has not been considered by previous work. In this paper, we propose a Hierarchical Inference Network (HIN) to make full use of the abundant information from entity level, sentence level and document level. Translation constraint and bilinear transformation are applied to target entity pair in multiple subspaces to get entity-level inference information. Next, we model the inference between entity-level information and sentence representation to achieve sentence-level inference information. Finally, a hierarchical aggregation approach is adopted to obtain the document-level inference information. In this way, our model can effectively aggregate inference information from these three different granularities. Experimental results show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance on the large-scale DocRED dataset. Since the science white paper of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) published on arXiv in 2019 [e-Print: 1905.02773 (astro-ph.HE)], LHAASO has completed the transition from a project to an operational gamma-ray astronomical observatory LHAASO is a new generation multi-component facility located in Daocheng, Sichuan province of China, at an altitude of 4410 meters. It aims at measuring with unprecedented sensitivity the spectrum, composition, and anisotropy of cosmic rays in the energy range between 10$^{12}$ and 10$^{18}$~eV, and acting simultaneously as a wide aperture (one stereoradiant) continuously operating gamma-ray telescope in the energy range between 10$^{11}$ and $10^{15}$~eV with the designed sensitivity of 1.3\% of the Crab Unit (CU) above 100 TeV. LHAASO's capability of measuring simultaneously different shower components (electrons, muons, and Cherenkov/fluorescence light), will allow it to investigate the origin, acceleration, and propagation of CR through measurement of the energy spectrum, elemental composition, and anisotropy with unprecedented resolution. The remarkable sensitivity of LHAASO will play a key role in CR physics and gamma-ray astronomy for a general and comprehensive exploration of the high energy universe and will allow important studies of fundamental physics (such as indirect dark matter search, Lorentz invariance violation, quantum gravity) and solar and heliospheric physics.
