Bu çalışmada, Denizcilik alanındaki liseler bünyesinde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin balık tüketim alışkanlıklarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırma kesitsel niteliktedir. Katılımcıların balık tüketimine önem verdikleri, balık yemeyi sağlıklı olduğu için tercih ettikleri, yeni bir balık türünü tüketmeye istekli hale getiren durumun aile ve arkadaş tavsiyesinin olduğu bulunmuştur. Balık tüketiminde avlanmış, balıkçı tezgahından satın alınan, taze, kızartılmış balık tüketmeyi tercih etmektedirler. Balık tüketim alışkanlıklarının geliştirilmesi ve balık tüketim oranının artırılmasına yönelik sağlık eğitiminin gerekliliğini ve bu eğitimlerin aile ve akran desteği ile yapılmasının balık tüketimini arttırabileceği düşünülmektedir., In this study, it has been aimed to determine the fish consumption habits of the students studying at high schools in the field of Maritime. This research is cross-sectional in nature. It has been found that the participants give importance to fish consumption, they prefer to eat fish because it is healthy, and it is the recommendation of family and friends that make them willing to consume a new fish species. In the consumption of fish, they prefer to consume fresh, fried fish, which are hunted and purchased from the fishermen’s stall. It is thought that the necessity of health education for the development of fish consumption habits and increasing the fish consumption rate and the carrying out of these training with family and peer support can increase fish consumption.

It was aimed to determine the relationship between nurses' perceived social support levels and quality of life during the COVID-19 epidemic in the study. The study was conducted as a descriptive study in two provinces located in the northeast of Turkey between July and September 2021. The population of the study consisted of nurses working in two provinces during the pandemic process, and the sample consisted of 274 nurses who were reached by snowball sampling method and met the inclusion criteria of the study. In data collection; "Nurses' Descriptive Characteristics Form", "Perceived Multidimensional Social Support Scale" and "World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale" were used. The mean score of the perceived social support scale of the nurses was 65.84±14.32 and the mean score of the quality of life scale was 26.52±4.75. It was found that the quality of life of the nurses increased as the perceived social support scores increased (r=0.431, p, Çalışmada COVID-19 salgını sürecinde hemşirelerin algılanan sosyal destek düzeyleri ile yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Amaç: Bu çalışmada hemşirelik öğrencilerinin dismenoreden fonksiyonel ve emosyonel olarak etkilenme durumu ile klinik performansta öz yeterlik arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte olan bu araştırma 25 Mayıs-24 Haziran 2022 tarihleri arasında yürütüldü. Araştırmanın evrenini Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü 2, 3 ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören 199 kız öğrenci oluşturdu. Araştırmanın örneklemine çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 177 öğrenci alındı. Verilerin toplanmasında sosyodemografik bilgi formu, Fonksiyonel ve Emosyonel Dismenore Ölçeği ve Klinik Performansta Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği kullanıldı. Verilerin analizinde yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma ve Pearson korelasyon analizi uygulandı. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin adet döneminde sık karşılaştıkları şikayetler arasında sırasıyla sinirlilik, bel ağrısı ve halsizlik (%26.9, %26.3, %20.2) olduğu, %54.2’sinin her adet döneminde ağrı şikayeti yaşadığı ve %10.7’sinin dismenore tanısı aldığı belirlendi. Öğrencilerin Fonksiyonel ve Emosyonel Dismenore Ölçeği ile Klinik Performansta Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği ve alt boyutlarının Pearson korelasyon analizi sonuçlarına göre aralarında zayıf ve negatif yönlü istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edildi (p˂0.05). Öğrencilerin dismenoreden fonsiyonel ve emosyonel olarak etkilenme düzeyleri arttıkça klinik performansa ilişkin öz yeterlik algılarının azaldığı belirlendi. Sonuç: Bu çalışmada hemşirelik öğrencilerinin dismenoreden etkilenme düzeylerinin, klinik performansta öz yeterlik algılarını olumsuz etkilediği saptandı. Dismenoreye bağlı klinik performans öz yeterlik algısının etkilenmemesi için hemşirelik öğrencileri ve sağlık profesyonellerine yönelik menstrüel izin uygulamaları gibi düzenlemelerin hayata geçirilmesi önem taşımaktadır.

Tıkınırcasına yeme bozukluğu (TYB) en sık görülen yeme bozukluklarından biri olmakla birlikte çocuk ve adölesanlarda başta obezite olmak üzere bir dizi psikolojik ve fiziksel sağlık sorunlarıyla ilişkili olduğundan giderek önemi artan bir halk sağlığı sorunudur. Tıkınırcasına yeme bozukluğu benzer koşullarda çoğu insanın tüketebileceğinden çok daha fazla miktarda besin tüketimi ve yeme davranışında kontrol kaybı ile karakterize bir bozukluktur. Çocuklarda yapılan çalışmalarda prevelansının %1-3 arasında olduğu ve görülme oranının gittikçe arttığı ve literatürde görülme yaşının 5 yaşına kadar düştüğü görülmektedir. Açlık hissi yokluğunda yeme, yerken yemeyi durduramama ya da ne kadar yediğini kontrol edememe, tekrarlayan tıkınırcasına yeme atakları, tıkınırcasına yemenin yordayıcısıdır. Çocukta yeme takıntısını işaret eden davranışlar, alışılmadık şekilde hızlı yeme, duygusal olarak sıkıntılı veya bunalmışken yiyecek arama, yaşına uygun olmayan kilo alımı veya tıbbi bir durum ile açıklanamayan kilo dalgalanmaları şeklinde gözlenebilir. Tıkınırcasına yeme bozukluğuna karşı yapılacak erken müdahaleler sadece bir yeme bozukluğunu önlemeye yardımcı olmayacak, aynı zamanda sağlıksız yeme davranışlarının yaşam boyu sürecek zararlı alışkanlıklara dönüşmesini engelleyecektir. Bu derlemede tıkınırcasına yeme bozukluğunun tanılanması, prevalansı, obeziteyle ilişkisi ve tedavi süreçlerinden bahsedilecektir. Bozukluğun tanılanmasında geç kalınmaması ve aile desteğinin alınması tedavi süreci için belirleyicidir. Ülkemizde tıkınırcasına yeme bozukluğunun çocuk ve adölesanlarda taranması ve okul sağlığı tarama programlarına entegre edilmesi oldukça önemlidir. Ayrıca okul sağlığı hizmetleri kapsamında yeme bozuklarına yönelik farkındalık çalışmalarının artırılması, okul ve aile işbirliklerinin sağlanması gerekmektedir.

Objectives: Although stigma is well defined in people with a chronic disease or condition, it has not been studied much in individuals infected with hepatitis B virus (HBV). The study is one of the first descriptive individual studies conducted on this subject in our country. Our aim in this study was to evaluate the stigma experiences and concerns of individuals living with HBV, their sharing of their illness with the environment, and the state of being affected by their social relationships. Materials and Methods: Patients with hepatitis B surface antigen positivity who were admitted to the infectious diseases outpatient clinic were surveyed through face-to-face interviews. Epidemiological data, stigma experiences and anxiety states, people with whom they shared their illness, the reasons for not sharing, the impairment of social relations were questioned. Results: It was found that 19.5% of 390 individuals infected with HBV who participated in our study were "exposed" to stigma in various ways, and 27.4% were "worried" about experiencing this condition. Amaç: İntörnlük uygulaması ile hemşirelik öğrencilerinin mesleki bilgi, beceri ve yetkinlik arasındaki ilişkiyi araştıran çalışmalar olsa da ülkemizde bu konuyla ilgili kanıtlar sınırlıdır. Bu nedenle çalışma bir devlet üniversitesinde aktif öğrenime devam eden intörn hemşirelik öğrencilerinin mesleki ve akademik yeterliliklerinin Türkiye Yükseköğretim Yeterlilikler Çerçevesine (TYYÇ) göre öz değerlendirmesini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı.Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı tiptedir. Araştırma bir devlet üniversitesinde aktif öğrenime devam eden intörn hemşirelik öğrencileri ile 30 Mayıs-30 Haziran 2022 tarihleri arasında yürütüldü. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından TYYÇ göre hazırlanan anket formunun öğrencilerden yüz yüze görüşerek toplanmasıyla elde edildi. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler (yüzde, frekans, ortalama), bağımsız gruplarda t testi ve pearson korelasyon analizi kullanıldı.Bulgular: Katılımcıların TYYÇ’ye göre lisans düzeyi sağlık temel alanı mesleki ve akademik ağırlıklı yeterliliklerinin öz değerlendirmesi puanları incelendiğinde en fazla puanın alana özgü yetkinlikten alındığı görüldü. Katılımcıların cinsiyeti, hemşireliği isteyerek seçme ve mezuniyet sonrası yapma isteği ve gelecekteki kariyer planları değişkenlerinin TYYÇ ve alt boyutları kapsamında öz yeterliliklerini etkilemediği ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği belirlendi (p˃0.05). Öğrencilerin alan ders puanları ile TYYÇ ve alt boyutları kapsamında öz değerlendirme puanları karşılaştırıldığında “Halk Sağlığı Hemşireliği” dersi puanı dışında farklılık göstermediği ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlılık olmadığı bulundu (p˃0.05). Halk Sağlığı Hemşireliği dersinden alınan puan artıkça TYYÇ alt boyutlarından “Alana özgü yetkinlik” boyutundan alınan puanın artığı ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu belirlendi (p˂0.05).Sonuç ve Öneriler: Hemşirelikte intörnlük uygulamasının bilgi, beceri ve yetkinliklerini artırılmasında etkilerinin olumlu yönde olduğu ancak istenilen düzeyde olmadığı bulundu. Mesleki açıdan kendisini ‘bilgi, beceri ve yerlilikler’ noktasında geliştirebilecekleri ulusal standart bir müfradatın ve değerlendirmekriterlerin geliştirilmesi önemli bir ihtiyaçtır., Aim: Although there are studies investigating the relationship between internship practice and nursing students' professional knowledge, skills and competence, the evidence on this subject in our country is limited. For this reason, this study was conducted to determine the self-evaluation of the professional and academic qualifications of intern nursing students who continue their active education at a state university according to the National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education in Turkey (NQF-HETR).Method: The research is of descriptive type. The research was carried out between 30 May and 30 June 2022 with intern nursing students continuing active education at a state university. Data were obtained by collecting the questionnaire form prepared by the researchers according to NQF-HETR, by interviewing the students face to face. Descriptive statistics (percentage, frequency, mean), independent groups t test and Pearson correlation analysis were used to evaluate the data.Results: When the self-assessment scores of the participants' undergraduate level health basic field vocational and academic competencies according to NQFHETR were examined, it was seen that the highest score was obtained from the field-specific competence. It was determined that the variables of the participants' gender, willingness to choose nursing willingly and after graduation, and future career plans did not affect their self-efficacy within the scope of NQF-HETR and its sub-dimensions, and did not show a statistically significant difference (p˃0.05). When the students' field course scores were compared with their self-evaluation scores within the scope of NQF-HETR and its sub-dimensions, it was found that there was no difference except for the "Public Health Nursing" course score and there was no statistical significance (p˃0.05). As the score obtained from the Public Health Nursing course increased, it was determined that the score obtained from the sub-dimensions of NQF-HETR, "Field-specific competence", increased and was statistically significant (p˂0.05).Conclusion and Suggestions: It was found that the effects of internship practice in nursing in increasing knowledge, skills and competencies were positive, but not at the desired level. It is an important need to develop a national standard curriculum and evaluation criteria, in which they can develop themselves professionally in terms of "knowledge, skills and indigenousness".

Objective: The new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease has more serious consequences and risks by gender and plays a role in biological, socio-cultural and behavioral differences. This process is particularly severe in terms of the problems faced by women and some disadvantaged groups. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of changes in the daily lives of female academicians on life satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic process. Methods: The sample of this descriptive study consists of 178 female academicians who have been actively working at a public university in the northeast of Turkey between Oct 1, 2020 and Feb 1, 2021. The data of the research were collected by "Personal Information Form" and "Contentment with Life Scale". Descriptive statistics (percentage, frequency, average), Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, t-test, and ANOVA test were used to evaluate the data. Results: It was found that 83.1% of the female academicians preferred to stay at their own homes and 52.8% of them did not receive support while fulfilling their daily responsibilities during the pandemic process in which female academicians had to work and learn at home. The total score of the Contentment with Life Scale of female academicians was found to be 20.15 ± 6.95. Female academicians who participated in the study had moderate level of contentment with life. It was determined in the study that the increase in the time spent on academic development, academic studies, and themselves increased female academicians’ life contentment and was statistically significant (p˂0.05). It was found that increased time spent for housework decreased life satisfaction. Conclusions: It was determined that professional and individual development is quite significant in increasing life satisfaction in female academicians. That strategies that can increase female academicians life contentment should be developed and women who are sensitive and need to be protected should be supported more in this situation.

Objective: As in the whole world, in our country, too, irrational drug use is one of the importanthealth problems. Our study aimed to examine the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of healthcare workersand students in an educational research hospital on rational drug use. Materials and Methods: For this cross-sectional study, no sample was selected. A face-to-face questionnaire was applied to a total of 748 study participants. We analyzed the data by using descriptive statistics and chi-square tests. Results: Among healthcare workers and students, doctors were found to be the most educated group on rational drug use, with 87.2%. They were also the group, who had been taking the most drugs without a prescription, who had had a drug prescription printed the most with the thought that it might be necessary, and who had used antibiotics the most in flu. Students had the lowest rate of attitude and behavior regarding rational drug use. The analgesics were found to be the most prescribed drug in the surveyed groups. The most drug-prescribed group was nurses, with 43.8%. Conclusions: Awareness training, continuity of education, and transformation of knowledge into behavior should be planned and ensured in healthcare workers and students.

Objective: This study was conducted to find out the traditional methods applied in infant care in Turkish culture. Methods: This study is a descriptive study in a city in the east of Turkey between February and August 2017. Women who participated in the study were chosen with improbable random sampling method. The data were collected with questionnaire form by using face-to- face interview method. Descriptive statistics were used in data analysis Results: The most common postnatal practices were reciting the azan to the infant’s ear (66.2%) and swaddling (44.4%). In addition, it was found that before the first feeding of the infant, azan was recited (16.2%) and honey was placed on the infant’s mouth (21.4%). The most common practice for the health care of the infant was to cover with a yellow cloth/muslin/blanket to prevent jaundice (47.6%), while the most common spiritual care practices were evil eye bead (37.1%) and to put a Koran on the cradle to prevent the infant from getting sick in the first 40 days (33.6%). Conclusion: It was found that the puerperal women conducted traditional practices such as for umbilical stump to fall off, to prevent jaundice, to recover from jaundice, for moniliasis, for diaper rash, for cough, for diarrhea, for constipation, for fever, for gas for infants who cry and who are uneasy all the time, before the first feeding religious ritual in the infants care.

Bu çalışma işyerlerindeki güvenlik ikliminin kişisel koruyucu donanım kullanımına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma tanımlayıcı olarak Ocak-Şubat-Mart 2016 tarihleri arasında Bir Ortak Sağlık ve Güvenlik Biriminin hizmet verdiği işyerlerinde çalışan işçiler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini işyerlerinde çalışan toplam 120 işçi, örneklemi ise araştırma kriterlerine uyan 104 işçi oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri “Bilgi Formu” ve “Güvenlik İklimi Ölçeği” kullanılarak, yüz yüze görüşme tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Etik açıdan Ortak Sağlık ve Güvenlik Birimi’nden yazılı izin ve araştırmaya katılan işçilerden sözel onam alınmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Independent –Samples T-Test, One Way-Anova ve Korelasyon testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadaki işçilerin yaş ortalaması 31,29±7,95 olup, %76,0’ı erkek, %47,1’i lise mezunu ve %32,7’si vardiyalı sistemde çalışmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamındaki işçilerin %85,6’sı işyerinde kişisel koruyucu donanım kullanmanın önemli olduğunu düşündüğünü ve %72,1’i işyerinde düzenli olarak kişisel koruyucu donanım kullandığını belirtmiştir. Araştırmada işçilerin güvenlik iklimi ölçeği puan ortalamaları ile kişisel koruyucu donanımı düzenli kullanmaları, kişisel koruyucu donanımın ulaşılabilir olması, kişisel koruyucu donanım kullanımı hakkında bilgi almaları, kişisel koruyucu donanımın kullanımının kolay olması ve kişisel koruyucu donanımı ekip arkadaşlarının düzenli kullanması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu bulunmuştur (p

Amac: Kuresel olarak yeni tip koronavirusun ortaya cikisi, uluslararasi onemi olan bir halk sagligi acil durumu olarak ilan edilmistir. Yeni tip koronavirus Covid 19 ile ilgili olarak guclu bir immun sistemin koruyucu olabilecegi dusunulmektedir. Bu derlemenin amaci birinci basamak saglik hizmetlerinin en onemli bilesenlerinden biri olan halk hemsirelerinin pandemi surecinde bagisiklik guclendirebilecek saglik danismanligi rolunu incelemektir. Bu calisma ilgili literatur taranarak derleme seklinde planlanmistir. Immun sistemin guclendirilmesi ve korunmasinda saglik danismanligi olarak “beslenme ve egzersiz” danismanliklari yapilabilir. Sonuc: Halk sagligi hemsirelerinin mesleki gelisimleri ve cagin degisen kosullarina gore uyum saglayabilmeleri icin danismanlik rollerinin farkinda olarak toplumun ihtiyaclarina cevap verebilecek calismalar yurutmeleri ile mumkun olacaktir.

Multizelluläre Parasiten (z. B. Nematoden, Trematoden und Cestoden) setzen Proteine und andere Moleküle in ihre Wirte frei, die so genannten exkretorischen und sekretorischen (ES) Produkte. Diese ES-Produkte besitzen z.T. immunmodulatorische Aktivitäten, die nicht nur eine langfristige Persistenz ermöglichen, sondern auch eine schwere Pathologie aufgrund einer Modulation der zellulären Immunantworten verhindern. Im Allgemeinen wird die T-Helfer Typ 2 (TH2)-Immunantwort favorisiert, wohingegen die TH1-Immunantwort gedämpft wird. Viele der ES-Produkte sind glykosyliert. Zudem wurde gezeigt, dass mehrere ES-Proteine zusätzlich mit Phosphorylcholin (PC) modifiziert sind. Außerdem wurde festgestellt, dass PC-haltige Antigene mit wichtigen proliferativen Signalwegen in B- und T-Zellen, mit der Entwicklung von dendritischen Zellen und Makrophagen sowie mit der Mastzelldegranulation interferieren. Diese Effekte tragen zu den beobachteten niedrigen Antikörper- und Zytokinspiegeln und der Beeinträchtigung der Lymphozyten-proliferation bei und werden, zumindest teilweise, durch die Bindung an verschiedene cholinerge Rezeptoren, ähnlich dem Acetyl-, Propionyl- oder Butyrylcholin, vermittelt. In diesem Projekt wurden die exkretorisch-sekretorischen Produkte von Ascaris suum im Adultstadium untersucht. Es konnten 354 Proteine identifiziert werden, von denen 53 PC-substituiert waren. Vergleiche mit den in vorherigen Untersuchungen festgestellten ES-Produken im Larvenstadium zeigen, dass die Anzahl überlappender Proteine gering ausfällt. Hieraus lässt sich schließen, dass der Übergang vom Larvenstadium zum Adultstadium mit einer deutlichen Änderung des ES-Spektrums einhergeht. Die gering ausfallende Überlappung der PC-ES-Produkte mit den PC-TE-Produkten im Adultstadium ist möglicherweise dadurch zu erklären, dass die PC-Modifikation, abhängig vom betroffenen Kompartiment, unterschiedliche Funktionen ausführt. Einige der hier identifizierten PC-ES-Produkte könnten an der Abwehr der Wirtsimmunantwort beteiligt sein. Ihre Rolle innerhalb dieser Mechanismen sowie ihre Wechselwirkung mit zellulären Rezeptoren werden Gegenstand weiterer Analysen sein.

This study aims to determine the innovation strategy of a manufacturing company operating in the agricultural hand tools sector through the analytic hierarchy process. Internal and external environmental analysis of the company was performed to identify the strategic alternatives of the company. Strengths (S) and weaknesses (W) of the company, opportunities (O), and threats (T) were identified with the analysis of the external environment with internal environmental analysis. In this study, the SWOT analysis was used to determine the innovation strategies of an export manufacturing company operating in the agricultural industry. The AHP was used to select the appropriate strategy. As a result of the AHP implementation, the strategy SO obtained from the strengths of the firm and the opportunities around it, among the strategy alternatives, was preferred., Bu çalışma, tarımsal el aletleri sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir imalat firmasının yenilik stratejisini analitik hiyerarşi süreci üzerinden belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Şirketin stratejik alternatiflerini belirlemek için şirketin iç ve dış çevre analizi yapılmıştır. İç çevre analizi ile dış çevre analizi ile şirketin güçlü yönleri (G) ve zayıf yönleri (Z), fırsatlar (F) ve tehditler (T) belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, tarım sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir ihracat imalat firmasının yenilik stratejilerini belirlemek için SWOT analizi kullanılmıştır. Uygun stratejiyi seçmek için AHP kullanılmıştır. AHP uygulaması sonucunda strateji alternatiflerinden firmanın güçlü yönlerinden ve çevresindeki fırsatlardan elde edilen GF stratejisi tercih edilmiştir.

Vitaminlerin psikiyatrik bozukluklardaki yeri, beslenme faktörü içerisin-de ele alınabilecek bir konudur. Bazı vitamin eksikliklerinin psikiyatrik belirti ve bozukluklara neden olabileceği bilin-mektedir. Şizofreni, duygudurum bozuklukları, anksiyete bozuklukları, yeme bozuklukları ve nörobilişsel bozukluk-ların oluşumunda ve tedavisinde vitaminlerin rolü araştırıl-mıştır. Literatüre bakıldığı zaman bu alanda yapılmış ça-lışmalardan elde edilen verilerin tutarlı olmadığı görülmek-tedir. Özellikle vitamin takviyelerinin bu bozuklukların tedavisinde kullanımı ile ilgili çalışmalar çelişkili sonuçlar ortaya çıkarmıştır., Genetic factors, stress, nutrition, medications and environ-mental variables are factors that affect the occurrence of psychiatric disorders. The effect of dietary nutrients on mental health is an area that attracted the attention of re-searchers and has been studied for over a century. The role of vitamins in psychiatric disorders is an issue that can be addressed within the nutritional factor. It has been known that some vitamin deficiencies can cause psychiatric symp-toms and disorders. The role of vitamins in the formation and treatment of schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and neurocognitive disorders has been investigated. When the literature is reviewed, it is seen that the data obtained from the studies in this field are not consistent. Especially, studies on the use of vitamin supplements in the treatment of these disorders have re-vealed conflicting results.
