Enerji sektöründe meydana gelen teknolojik gelişmeler, dünyanın içinde bulunduğu iklim değişikliği sorunu ve enerji maliyetlerinin hızlı bir şekilde artması insanları daha ucuz ve temiz alternatif enerji kaynakları arayışına yönlendirmiştir. Rüzgâr enerjisi, güneş enerjisi, biyokütle enerjisi, biyogaz, jeotermal enerji, dalga enerjisi gibi yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları günümüzde daha fazla tercih edilir olmuştur. Bununla birlikte yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından biri olan güneş enerjisi ile fotovoltaik santraller gerek yenilenebilir olması gerek ülkemizdeki yüksek güneş enerji potansiyeli sayesinde giderek yaygınlaşmıştır. Bu çalışma Kahramanmaraş ili Göksun ilçesinde ikamet eden dört kişiden oluşan bir ailenin evde tüketeceği günlük elektrik enerjisi ihtiyacını, ev çatısına kurulumu gerçekleştirilen şebeke bağlantılı fotovoltaik sistem tarafından karşılamayı amaçlamaktadır. Normal şartlar altında dört kişinin kullanacağı yıllık elektrik enerjisi tüketim miktarı hesaplanmış, bu veriye dayanılarak bu ailenin evinde kullandığı ev gereçlerinin tüketeceği elektrik enerjisinin ortalaması belirlenmiş ve evin ihtiyacı olan günlük elektrik enerjisi miktarı belirlenmiştir. Hesaplamalara göre evin elektrik enerjisi gereksinimini karşılayacak Kahramanmaraş ilinin yıllık ortalama güneşlenme süresi ve ışınım değerleri temel alınarak şebeke bağlantılı fotovoltaik santral tasarlanmış ve bu tasarımın PVsyst demo yazılım programıyla simülasyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. Simülasyon sonucunda elde edilen nümerik sonuçlar detaylı olarak analiz edilmiştir.

In today's world, the increase in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions into the atmosphere, as well as the natural result of the global warming issue, have detrimental consequences. It is known that gas emissions such as CO2 should be reduced in order to reduce these effects. Internal combustion engines (ICE) that use fossil fuels play a major part in the release of these harmful emissions into the environment in today's transportation industry. For this reason, in order to achieve a cleaner environment, it is aimed to increase the number of Electric Vehicles (EVs) by completely removing fossil fuel vehicles from the market. Thus, it is expected that harmful gas emissions such as CO2 will reduce considerably and the impact of such hazardous GHG in the transportation industry will be minimal. However, it is known that as the number of EVs grows, the energy demand for the electricity grid will increase and some grid problems will occur. Morever, it is well recognized that as the number of EVs grows, so will the energy demand for the electricity grid, causing potential grid difficulties. This study proposes a clean, environmentally friendly, renewable EV charging station approach to overcome potential grid issues. This system comprises a renewable energy source Photovoltaic (PV) based, off-grid, EV charging model with its own storage system, in rural areas where there is no/insufficient electricity grid or where grid load needs to be minimized. This model is simulated in MATLAB, and the findings are presented graphically.

Kablosuz güç aktarım sistemleri yaklaşık olarak 20 yıldır kullanılmakta olup 2002 yılından itibaren bu teknoloji elektrikli araçlarda da kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Lazer, mikrodalga, manyetik indüksiyon ve manyetik rezonans Kablosuz Güç Aktarım sistemleri için kullanılan temel yöntemlerdir. Elektrikli araçların, enerji darboğazı ve çevre kirliliği sorunlarına bir çözüm olarak görülmesi ile birlikte bu araçların bataryalarının temassız sistemlerle şarj edilmesi düşüncesi yaygınlaşmaya başlamıştır. İlk olarak Nikola Tesla tarafından ortaya atılan temassız güç aktarımı düşüncesi, enerjinin, ortak bir çekirdek üzerinde bulunmayan iki sargı arasında, oldukça büyük bir hava aralığı üzerinden aktarılması ilkesine dayanmaktadır[1].Bu çalışmasında kablosuz güç aktarım sistemlerinin üzerine yapılan çalışmalar araştırıp incelenecek. Daha sonra bilgisayar programı ile modelleme ve simülasyon yöntemleri kullanılacak ve elde edinilen araştırma bulgularına göre karşılaştırma yapılacak ve sonuçlar ortaya konacaktır. Devre simülasyonu yapılarak elektrikli araçların şarjı sırasında kullanılan kablosuz güç aktarımı yöntemlerinin hangisinin daha kullanışlı ve verimli olduğunu belirlemek çalışmanın beklenen sonucudur

Along with the widespreaduse of renewable energy systems, grid integration with the sources such aswind, photovoltaic (PV) is becoming a matter of importance in micro grids.Micro grids can be installed where energy isneeded. In this research, a smart grid system has been constituted in thesample micro level. The system consist from PV panels, wind turbine,charge regulators, battery, microcontroller system, and grid system. Energydemand of the load group is provided from the wind and PV based hybrid microgrid. The electrical information taken from the PV and wind turbine device withthe voltage divider and current sensor is transferred to the microcontrollersystem. The load electrical energy requirement is primarily provided by the PV/ Wind energy conversion, then by the battery and by the network in the laststage, all of the cases have been managed by the proposed control algorithm.Also, the excess energy generated by the PV/Wind hybrid system is transferredto the grid. As a result, the usage of PV/Wind hybrid energy conversion systemhas been increased at the highest level to supply benefit and the unit cost ofenergy is reduced.

Güçsistemlerinde kararlılık, sistemin herhangi bir bozucu etkiye maruz kaldığıdurumda ve bu etkiden sonra senkron generatörün senkronizmayı koruyabilmeyeteneğidir. Güç sisteminde bu tür etkiler çok sık görülmektedir. Bu nedenlesürekli hal kararlılığı sistemin analizi ve sentezi bakımından önemtaşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada güç santrallerinde fotovoltaik enerji sistemlerininkararlılığa etkisini görmek için iki farklı durum incelenmiştir. İlk durumdadağıtım şebekesinin bağlı olduğu sistemde üretim elemanı olarak şebekeninyanında senkron generatör bulunmaktadır. İkinci durumda ise dağıtım şebekesi vegeneratöre ilaveten güneş panelleri gurubu da sisteme ilave edilmiştir. Böylecefotovoltaiklerin kararlılık üzerine etkisi incelenmiş ve sistemin kararlılıkanalizi yapılmıştır. Sistemin arıza oluştuğu sırada kararlı olup olmadığı vekararsızlık durumundaki değişimler incelenmiştir., Stability in power system is the ability of the synchronous generator to protect synchronism if the system is exposed to ant disturbing effect and after this effect. Such effects are very common in the power system. Therefore, steady state stability is important for the analysis and synthesis of the system. In this study, two situations are investigated to observe the effect of photovoltaic systems on stability. In the first case, the system consists of the network and the synchronous generator as the generator. In the second case, solar panels have been added to the system in addition to distribution network and generator. Thus, the effect of photovoltaics on stability is investigated and stability analysis of the system is made. The changes in instability and whether the system is stable or not are investigated.

Fotovoltaik (PV) sistemlerin çıkış gücü, güneş ışınımı ve sıcaklık ile ilgilidir. Bu makalede, PV sisteminin çıkış gücünün sıcaklık ve güneş ışınımına bağlı değişimi incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, bu çalışmada PV panellerinin yanında PV dizininin çalışma prensibi özetlemiştir. Off-grid PV sistemi Matlab/simülasyon programı kullanılarak modellenmiş ve bu çalışmada detaylı çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca, farklı sıcaklık ve ışınım değerleri için PV sisteminin çıkış gücü analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, PV sisteminin çıkış gücünün analitik ifadesi, Sosyal Bilimler İçin İstatistik Programı (SPSS) kullanılarak bulunmuştur., The output power of photovoltaic (PV) systems depends on solar radiation and temperature. In this article, the change of output power of PV system is examined depens on temperature and solar irradiance. Furthermore, this study outlines the working principle of PV panel as well as PV array. Off- grid PV system is modeled by using a Matlab/simulation program and detail study has been carried out in this work. Besides, Output power of PV system was analyzed for different temperature and irradiance values. Simulink equivalent of the PV system was created for partial shading on PV panels. I-V and P-V curves were found for partial shaded conditions. As a result, analytical expression of output power of PV system was found by a is statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) program.

This paper presents development of a PCB prototyping system that is able to produce trace lines and drill holes on a PCB board. The system consists of 3 main parts: a mechanical setup that can move in X, Y and Z directions, a driving circuitry and a software program that controls overall operation of the whole system. In this initial work, the system is developed such that it produces a trace line on a PCB board and drill holes on two pads at both end of the trace line. We show that our system successfully performs both of the above tasks.

Güçkalitesini etkileyen olayların belirlenmesi ve incelenmesi oldukça önemlidir. Gerilimlerdeki ani yükselmeler,gerilim çökmeleri ve gerilim harmonikleri Güç Kalitesindeki bozulmalardan birkısmını ifade etmektedir. Bu çalışma ile güç kalitesindeki bozulmalarıbelirlemede, Görgül Kip Ayrışımı (GKA) ve Hilbert Dönüşümü (HD) metotlarınınbirleşiminden oluşan Hilbert Huang Dönüşümü (HHD) metodu ve Zaman Frekansanaliz tekniklerinden spektrogram ve Gabor Dönüşümü metotları kullanılmıştır.Lineer olamayan sinyallerin analizinde kullanılan yeni bir sinyal işlemeyöntemi olan GKA ile güç kalitesi bozulmalarının olduğu sinyal Öz KipFonksiyonu (ÖKF) bileşenlerine ayrılmaktadır. Bu ÖKF bileşenleri ile GüçKalitesi bozulmalarının anlık frekans ve anlık genlik değerlerihesaplanmaktadır. Çalışma sonucu olarak, sinüzoidal dalga şeklindekideğişimleri belirlemede etkin olan HHD yönteminin, Güç Kalitesi Bozulmalarındada etkin olduğu gözlenmiştir.

Therefore, continuous state stabilityis important in the analysis and synthesis of the system. In this study,synchronous generator’s, linked to distribution network, power angle,speed(rpm), active power, current and voltage values are examined and faultstability analysis is made. It is examined whether the system is stable whenthe fault occured. The power angle of generator and active power changes areexamined in case of instability.

Venturiler havalandırma işleminde oldukça aktif olarak kullanılan hidrolik yapılardandır. Bu çalışmada venturinin boğaz bölgesinde açılan delikten vakumlanan ozon gazının performansı yapay sinir ağları ile modellenmiştir. Modelleme çalışmasında Dt/D= 0.50 ve Dt/D= 0.75 olan iki tip venturinin farklı boylardaki ozon enjeksiyon verimi değerleri kullanılmıştır. Modelleme sonucunda R2 değeri 0.971 gibi oldukça yüksek çıkmıştır. Deney sonuçları ile model sonuçları arasında iyi bir uyum elde edilmiştir. Buradan yapay sinir ağlarının venturilerde ozon enjeksiyon veriminin modellenmesinde kullanılabileceği görülmüştür.

Doğal su kaynaklarındaki çözünmüş oksijen miktarı, suyun kirlilik derecesini gösteren önemli bir su kalite parametresidir. Aynı zamanda, sudaki canlı yaşamı açısından da büyük bir önem taşımaktadır. Su içerisinde doğal olarak meydana gelen birçok biyolojik olay ve kimyasal reaksiyon, çözünmüş oksijen miktarının azalmasına neden olmaktadır. Bu durumda, havalandırma yapılarak oksijenin yeniden suya kazandırılması gerekmektedir. Hidrolik yapılar, akarsu ile kısa bir süre temas halinde olmalarına rağmen; çözünmüş oksijen miktarını artırmada etkin bir role sahiptirler. Akarsuda doğal ortamda uzun mesafede ve sürede meydana gelebilecek oksijen transferi, yapılacak olan bir hidrolik yapı ile kısa mesafede ve hızlı bir şekilde gerçekleştirilebilir. Bu çalışmada, dairesel kesitli yüksek basınçlı kapaklı konduitlerin hava delik çapının havalandırma performansı üzerindeki etkisi yapay sinir ağları ile modellenmiştir. Deney sonuçları ile model sonuçları arasında oldukça yüksek benzerlik elde edilmiştir. Modelleme sonucunda R2 değeri 0.98 olarak elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucuna göre yapay sinir ağları dairesel kondüitlerde hava delik çapının hava giriş oranı üzerindeki etkisinin modellenmesinde başarılı olarak kullanılabileceği gösterilmiştir.

Bu tezin, veri tabanı üzerinden yayınlanma izni bulunmamaktadır. Yanma Sentezi, İntermetalik Malzemeler, Reaktif Sinterleme, Nikel Aluminid, NiAl, Ni3Al, CoAl, Sertlik, Aşınma, Oksidasyon. Ni-Al sisteminde Ni3Al ve NiAl gibi intermetalik bileşikler düşük yoğunluk, yüksek ergime noktası, mükemmel oksidasyon direnci ve sıcaklıkla artan akma gerilimi gibi özellikleri ile nikel-esaslı süper alaşımların yerini alabilecek yüksek sıcaklık malzemesi olarak umut vaat etmektedir. Toz metalürjisine alternatif bir yaklaşım olan Yanma Sentezi (Combustion Synthesis), toz reaksiyonu ve ekzotermik reaksiyon ısısı kullanılarak inorganik bileşik malzemelerin üretiminde kullanılan yeni bir teknolojidir. Bu yöntem ile intermetalik, kompozit, seramik ve fonksiyonel değişken malzemeler, elementel tozlardan son şekle yakın toleranslarda üretilebilmektedir. Yanma sentez prosesleri, kısa reaksiyon süreleri, yüksek ısınma hızları ve yüksek sıcaklıkla karakterize edilmektedir. Bu özellikler, geleneksel seramik üretim prosesleri ile karşılaştırıldığında daha düşük maliyetle, teknolojik anlamda malzeme üretimi için yanma sentezini oldukça cazip hale getirmektedir. Bu çalışmada Ni-Al toz karışımı 1050°C'de 150 MPa basınç altında 60 dak. tutularak NiAl, Nİ3AI ve NİAI+Nİ3AI intermetalik malzemeler üretilmiş ve alaşım elementi olarak ağırlıkça %2.5 ve 5 oranında ilave edilen kobalt'ın üretilen malzemelerin özelliklerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Malzeme üretiminde kullanılan toz bileşimlerin DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) analizleri ile ekzotermik sıcaklıklar belirlenmiştir. Basınç destekli yanma sentezi ile üretilen numunelerin faz analizleri optik, taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM) ve x-ışınları difraksiyon analizi yardımıyla incelenmiştir. Bununla birlikte üretilen malzemelerin yoğunluk, sertlik, aşınma ve oksidasyon özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca alaşım elementi olarak ilave edilen kobaltın malzeme üzerindeki etkisi bu analizler vasıtasıyla incelenmiştir. Metalografik incelemelerde, uygulanan basıncın etkisi ile ortalama %98 yoğunlukta, porozite içeriği oldukça düşük ve Ni-Al faz diyagramında istenen bileşime uygun ince taneli malzemeler üretildiği görülmüştür. Üretilen intermetalik bileşiklerin SEM incelemelerinden lamelii yapıda olduğu ve bu yapıyı, ilave edilen kobalt'ın daha da belirginleştirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Numunelerin XRD patemlerinde NiAl ve NiAl+Ni3AFa ilave edilen kobaltın CoAl fazını, Nİ3AI malzemesinde ise AI14C03Nİ3 fazını oluşturduğu görülmüştür. Aşınma sırasında uygulanan yük artışıyla birlikte NiAl ve NİAI+Nİ3AI intermetalik malzemelerinde sürtünme katsayısı değerlerinde düşme eğilimi, Nİ3AI intermetaliğinde ise artma eğilimi görülmüştür. Üretilen intermetalik malzemelere alaşım elementi olarak ilave edilen kobalt, NiAl'da aşınma hızının düşmesine Ni3Al malzemesinde ise artışa neden olmuştur. îlave edilen kobaltın, iki fazlı malzemenin aşınma hızına genel olarak önemli bir etkisi olmamıştır. Sonuç olarak üretilen malzemeler içinde aşınma direnci en yüksek malzeme, kobalt ilaveli NiAl olarak bulunmuştur. Malzemelerin oksidasyonu sırasında NiAl malzemesinde ağırlık artışında parabolik değişim gözlenirken kobalt ilave edilmiş numunelerde böyle bir eğilim gözlenmemiş ve bu malzemelerin parabolik hız sabitleri daha düşük bulunmuştur. Ancak, özellikle % 0 ve 5 kobalt ilaveli numuneler için birbirine benzer aktivasyon enerji değerleri bulunmuştur. NİAI+Nİ3AI ve Ni3Al esaslı malzemelerin ağırlık artışlarında parabolik değişim gözlenmiştir. İlave edilen kobalt, NiAl+Ni3Al malzemesinin aktivasyon enerji değerini arttırmış ancak Ni3APda önemli bir etkisi görülmemiştir. Bu malzemelerin XRD patemlerinde NiAl'da sadece AI2O3 oluşumu gözlenirken diğer malzemelerde ise A1203 ile birlikte NiO tespit edilmiştir. Three-nickel aluminide Nİ3AI demonstrates extraordinary properties, such as a high melting point, positive dependence of strength on temperature, good resistance to creep and oxidation, and relatively low density. On the other hand, mono-nickel aluminide NiAl receives much attention due to its higher melting point, lower density, and better oxidation resistance than Nİ3AI. The excellent properties of these nickel aluminides make them attractive for aerospace and structural applications at elevated temperatures. However, the most significant disadvantage of these nickel aluminides is the brittleness at room temperature. They are limited by their lack of tensile ductility at room temperature (NiAl), high temperature embrittlement (Nİ3AI), and poor creep resistance at elevated temperatures (NiAl). Several researchers have begun to consider dual phase nickel aluminides as alternatives to monolithic nickel aluminides. The two phase Nİ3AI/NİAI materials exhibit a synergistic effect on the properties of each of the monolithic nickel aluminides. There are several routes for producing nickel aluminides, such as casting, rapid solidification, mechanical alloying or powder processing. An alternative powder metallurgy approach is combustion synthesis. This technique concerned with the ignition of a composed powder mixture in air or inert atmosphere, producing a chemical reaction, with a sufficient heat released (exothermic reaction) that it becomes self sustaining. There are two basic modes of combustion reaction differing by ignition conditions. In the propagating reaction mode, the powder reactants are ignited locally at one end of the sample using an external source of heat and the combustion wave propagates through the reactant pellet converting it into products. In the thermal explosion or volume combustion synthesis mode, the powder reactants XVI

In order to maximize efficiency of generation and distribution of electric power, the interconnections between individual utilities have increased and the generators have been required to operate at maximum limits for extensive periods of time. In addition, the most economic sites for generation plants are often remote from load centers like metropolitan cities, industrial centers, etc. Power must be transmitted over long distances. The majority of power system interconnections are made through AC transmission lines and the interconnected systems, there may be thousands of synchronous generator in service to supply the load. Because of the many generators in service, controllability and reliability problem occurred in interconnected power systems. The reliability of the interconnected system is enhanced by virtue of the capability of transferring power readily from one area to others within the large systems. For improving the controllability and reliability, modern control techniques and equipments are used in power systems. Excitation system and control, primary system control, automatic voltage regulators (AVR), governors and power system stabilizers (PSS) are important control equipments of generating systems. In interconnected power systems, some electromechanical oscillations may occur. These oscillations appear in turbine-generator shaft, and as a result angular speed changes. These oscillations are called `low frequency oscillations'. A synchronous generator and its controllers have dynamic non-linear characteristics. For analysis of this system, linearized dynamic equations have to be known. In this thesis, excitation system control is studied using PSS. Computer aided simulations are made. One machine-infinite bus system is used in the simulations. Chapter one is introductory. Basic power system components are introduced and stability concepts are classified in chapter two. In chapter three, linear models and state equations of power system components are given. These state equations are used in simulations. In chapter four, models, types, and linear state equations of PSS are given. At the end of this chapter, linear state equations of the whole system with ten state variables are obtained. In chapter five, results of the simulations are illustrated. PSS's types simulated are delta-omega and delta-P-omega. In delta-omega type, PSS could not damp low xivfrequency oscillations successfully compared to delta-P-omega type. But in delta-P- omega type, PSS could damp them perfectly. It can be noted from these simulations that, power system stabilizers, especially dclta-P-omega types, can damp the low frequency oscillations in power systems successfully. XV 90

Switching transients are defined as high frequency disturbances in power systems. These events are the important part of the power quality problems. In this study, to determine these transient disturbances, Autoregressive-Burg and Eigenvector techniques are used to obtain power spectral densities on frequency domain and the obtained results are compared. In these frequency domain techniques frequencies of the transient disturbances are defined clearly but the time of the disturbances can't be shown. Time-frequency domain analysis techniques are used in order to show both the frequency and time of the transient disturbances. For this aim, in this study Short time Fourier transforms (STFT) is employed for time-frequency domain analysis of switching transients. Proposed methods separate the frequency components of original signals accurately. Eigenvector and Burg methods have been employed to make a comparison in frequency domain analysis. It can be concluded that Eigenvector method gives a better frequency resolution with sharper frequency peaks.
