The experiment was carried out to evaluate effects of point Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights source attached to the feeders and drinkers on the broiler performance compared with the standard ceiling with the bulb in environment controlled house with two clusters. Total of 3360 chicks were divided into 2 groups (control and experimental) consisting 3 replicates of 560 chicks with 12.5 birds/m2 stocking density. Although, light intensity was measured as 18 lux at the level of feeders for the control group, it was measured 82 lux inside the feeders, 12 lux at the outer edge of them, while the measuring was showing 1 lux at 15 cm distance from the feeders 8 lux at the water dropper and zero in other areas for the experimental group. Standard rearing techniques and commercial diets were used during experimental period and parameters such as growth performance, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and mortality of broiler chicks were determined. The mean chick weight at the beginning of the experiment was similar in the control and experimental groups. There was no difference between lighting applications at the age of first week, however, at later stages, body weight (BW) was recorded significantly higher (P=0.05, P=0.01) in LED illumination treated group compared to control group. No significant differences were observed in feed intake and FCR between lighting treatments. In 42 day old, feed conversion ratios in control and LED lighting treated group were determined as 1.651 and 1.607, respectively (P>0.05). The mortality rates of control and LED lighting treated groups were found to be 5.24 and 3.51 (P=0.05) at the age of 42 days. No negative effect of Point LED lights system on weekly body weight gain, feed intake, and feed conversion ratios were observed, but a positive effect on cumulative body weight and mortality. The social and cultural changes brought about by industrialization and the Industrial Revolution highlighted the value of printmaking as a new means of expression in artistic presentation. The innovative mechanical production methods influenced their artistic production through the interest and experimentation of many artists, whose numbers should not be underestimated. On the other hand, the transfer of examples of traditional Japanese printmaking (Ukiyo-e) to Europe in 1700-1900 caused profound effects on Western art, beginning with Impressionism, one of the modern art movements. Especially in the last two decades, rapidly digitalizing technology has also provided radical changes in many social-cultural and economic fields. As a reflection of this, it has caused a change in the presentation of contemporary art and caused the formation of an innovative attitude that transforms-triggers the perception of the audience. Two effective factors are emphasized in the context of the effect of fine art print works on the phenomenon of art. One is the artist of the time, who uses all the media tools of his time with pure intuition to transform his artistic expression, his dreams into reality, and another is the audience of the artwork, who accepts only a part of his artistic presentation, which is helped by all technological tools, by discussing, and few of which will be praised by future generations. In this context, digital technology promises a free space to thousands of artists who produce screen presentations or artistic prints on many different media, enabling us to see them everywhere. It has indisputable that digital technologies are a new tool with a different line for artists, apart from the usual art presentation of contemporary art, which is in different quests with an innovative attitude in every period. From this point of view, in addition to the dynamic visual presentations in different places and platforms where the art audience can be involved and integrated into the contemporary art environment, the innovative attitude that fine art print artworks brings to the effect and behavior of the audience should also be considered. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how digital print technology and print works influence audience perception. The survey data analysis is interpreted in this article through excerpts from the dissertation titled “Effects of fine art printmaking on phenomenon of the art” which is still in progress.

The present study aims to assess the ultimate strength of a jacket offshore wind turbine support structures at different water depths. The progressive collapse analysis is carried out based on the finite element method accounting for the nonlinearities regarding material and geometry. A two-step analysis is carried out, in which at first, the axial dead loads are applied in a linear quasi-static analysis and then the resulting pre-stressed jacket support structure is analysed by a nonlinear finite element analysis in order to identify the ultimate strength. The present study employs a global strength approach so as to assess the ultimate strength of the jacket support structures consisting of several supporting modules with different stiffness. The moment-curvature relationships are presented for the jacket support structures at water depths of 40, 60 and 80 m. The effects of the thickness and leg inclination on the ultimate strength are investigated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: Griscelli syndrome type 2 (GS2) and neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) are both rare genetic disorders, but their coexistence has not been documented prior to this report., Case Presentation: We present the case of a 4-year-old girl initially diagnosed with GS2 due to albinism and immunodeficiency, and later with NF1, manifested by the development of multiple café-au-lait macules (CALMs) and MRI findings. The patient was the second child of consanguineous parents and exhibited symptoms early, with silver-gray hair at birth and subsequent health complications at 9 months. GS2 was confirmed via the identification of a homozygous frameshift variant in the RAB27A gene, and a de novo heterozygous splice site mutation in the NF1 gene established the NF1 diagnosis. Introduction: Weaver syndrome (WS) is a rare autosomal dominant disorder characterized by distinctive facial features, pre- and post-natal overgrowth, macrocephaly, and variable developmental delay. The characteristic facial features are ocular hypertelorism, a broad forehead, almond-shaped palpebral fissures and, in early childhood, large, fleshy ears, a pointed "stuck-on" chin with horizontal skin creases, and retrognathia. Heterozygous pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants in the enhancer of zeste homolog 2 ( EZH2 ) gene are responsible for WS., Case Presentation: Here, we report a male patient with a heterozygous likely pathogenic variant in EZH2 gene who has tall stature, distinctive facial features, mild development delay, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy with a MRI finding of periventricular leukomalacia, gingival hypertrophy, and early onset high hypermetropia., Conclusion: This case demonstrates the importance of reporting detailed molecular and clinical findings in patients to expand the genotypic and phenotypic findings of this rare syndrome., Competing Interests: The authors have no conflicts of interest to declare., (© 2023 S. Odontochondrodysplasia (ODCD, OMIM #184260) is a rare, non-lethal skeletal dysplasia characterized by involvement of the spine and metaphyseal regions of the long bones, pulmonary hypoplasia, short stature, joint hypermobility, and dentinogenesis imperfecta. ODCD is inherited in an autosomal recessive fashion with an unknown frequency caused by mutations of the thyroid hormone receptor interactor 11 gene ( TRIP11 ; OMIM *604505). The TRIP11 gene encodes the Golgi microtubule-associated protein 210 (GMAP-210), which is an indispensable protein for the function of the Golgi apparatus. Mutations in TRIP11 also cause achondrogenesis type 1A (ACG1A). Null mutations of TRIP11 lead to ACG1A, also known as a lethal skeletal dysplasia, while hypomorphic mutations cause ODCD. Here we report a male child diagnosed as ODCD with a novel compound heterozygous mutation who presented with skeletal changes, short stature, dentinogenesis imperfecta, and facial dysmorphism resembling achondroplasia and hypochondroplasia.

MFSD2A, a member of the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), is a transmembrane transporter responsible for the uptake of specific essential fatty acids through the blood-brain barrier (BBB) to the brain. The transporter is crucial for early embryonic brain development and a major factor in the formation and maintenance of the BBB. Mfsd2a-knockout mice show a leakage of the BBB in early embryonic stages and develop a phenotype characterized by microcephaly, cognitive impairment, and anxiety. So far, homozygous or compound heterozygous MFSD2A mutations in humans have only been reported in 13 different families with a total of 28 affected individuals. The phenotypical spectrum of patients with MFSD2A variants is rather broad but all patients present with microcephaly and severe intellectual disability, absent or limited speech, and walking difficulties. Severely affected patients develop seizures and show brain malformations and have, above all, a profound developmental delay hardly reaching any developmental motor milestones. Here, we report on two unrelated individuals with novel homozygous variants in the MFSD2A gene, presenting with severe primary microcephaly, brain malformations, profound developmental delay, and epilepsy, including hypsarrhythmia. Our findings extend the mutational spectrum of the bi-allelic MFSD2A variants causing autosomal recessive primary microcephaly type 15 and broaden the phenotypic spectrum associated with these pathogenic variants emphasizing the role of MFSD2A in early brain development., (Copyright © 2021. Warburg-Micro syndrome (WARBM) is a rare autosomal recessively inherited neuro-ophthalmologic syndrome. Although WARBM shows genetic heterogeneity, the pathogenic variants in RAB3GAP1 were the most common cause of WARBM. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the detailed clinical and dysmorphic features of seven WARBM1 patients and overview the variant spectrum of RAB3GAP1 in comparison with the literature who were referred due to congenital cataracts. A previously reported homozygous variant (c.2187_2188delGAinsCT) was identified in three of these patients, while the other four had three novel variants (c.251_258delAGAA, c.2606+1G>A, and c.2861_2862dupGC). Congenital cataract and corpus callosum hypo/agenesia are pathognomonic for WARBM, which could be distinguished from other similar syndromes with additional typical dysmorphic facial features. Although there is no known phenotype and genotype correlation in any type of WARBM, RAB3GAP1 gene analysis should be previously requested as the first step of genetic diagnosis in clinically suspicious patients when it is not possible to request a multi-gene panel., (© 2021 Wiley Periodicals LLC.)
