The effects of marble processing wastewater physicochemical treatment sludge (K1) on polypropylene (PP) waste pyrolysis were investigated by lab-scale batch pyrolysis system. PP-K1 proportions and pyrolysis temperature were studied as variables and both were found to have influences onto pyrolysis char, oil/tar, gas fractions distribution, as well as pyrolysis char characteristics (determined via SEM, EDX, FTIR, TGA and XRD analyses). The influence of K1 could be related to its high mineral composition (CaCO3, CaMg(CO3)2 and (Mg0.03Ca0.97)(CO3)) which also detected in the char products. K1 acts as catalyst and remained unchanged in thermochemical reactions below 700°C. The main thermal degradation of PP occurs around 400–470°C, although it starts at about 300–350°C, whereas, K1 resulted in more thermal degradation at 300°C pyrolysis. As K1 dose increased, pyrolysis chars became more thermally stable with the pyrolysis temperature. Diverse types of chars in terms of porosity, thermal strength and chemical structure were produced with PP + K1 as compared to the PP chars. For example, with 10%–20% K1 doses, the chars are in aromatic structure while chars become aliphatic when K1 dosage increased to 30% or above. The structural diversity made these chars new products that can be used as raw material for subsequent purposes. This study provided a basis for the chars’ physical and chemical properties which are needed for further research to develop new generation evaluation areas for them. Therefore, a new symbiotic upcycling approach has been presented for PP wastes and marble processing wastewater treatment sludge.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının öz yeterlik inançları ile bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapmaya ilişkin tutumlarının ne düzeyde olduğunu ve aralarındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Araştırma, 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Fırat, Cumhuriyet, Amasya, Adıyaman, Ahi Evran, Dicle Üniversitelerinin Eğitim Fakültesi Okul Öncesi Öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenimine devam eden araştırmaya gönüllü olan öğretmen adayları üzerinde yürütülmüştür.Araştırmada karma model kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri `Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerinin Öz Yeterlik İnançları Ölçeği`, `Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitim Yapmaya İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği` ve görüşme formlarıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutu genel tarama modeli çeşitlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeline uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Nitel boyutta ise belirlenmiş üniversitelerin her birinden seçilen 10 öğrenci ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır.Tepe ve Demir (2011) tarafından geliştirilen okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin öz yeterlik inançları ölçeği beşli likert tipinde 37 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğin geneli için Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı .97 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Mevcut çalışmada ise Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı ise .96 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Arslan (2006) tarafından geliştirilen Bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapmaya ilişkin tutum ölçeği ise beşli likert tipinde olup 10 olumlu, 10 olumsuz olmak üzere 20 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılan Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı ise .93 olarak bulunmuştur. Mevcut çalışmada ise Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı ise .91 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Nicel verilerin analizi SPSS-21 istatistik programı ile, nitel verilerin analizi ise iki ayrı araştırmacı tarafından çözümlenmiştir.Araştırma sonucunda, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin öz yeterlik inançları ölçeği uygulanan kadın öğretmen adaylarının, erkek öğretmen adaylarına göre daha yüksek öz yeterlik inancına sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Uygulanan ölçek sonucunda 3.sınıf ve 4.sınıf öğretmen adaylarının öz yeterlik inançları düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık belirlenmemiştir. Bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapmaya ilişkin tutum ölçeği uygulanan öğretmen adaylarının tutumları, cinsiyet ve kendilerine ait internet bağlantısına sahip olup olmama değişkenine göre farklılaşmamıştır. 4.sınıf öğretmen adaylarının 3.sınıf öğretmen adaylarına göre daha yüksek düzeyde bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapma tutumuna sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Kendine ait bilgisayarı olan öğretmen adaylarının, kendine ait bilgisayarı olmayan öğretmen adaylarına göre daha yüksek düzeyde bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapma tutumuna sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Gün içinde bilgisayarı kullanma sıklığı 3-4 saat olan öğretmen adaylarının bilgisayarı 1-2 saat kullanan ve hiç kullanmayan öğretmen adaylarına göre, bilgisayarı 5 saat ve üstü kullanan öğretmen adaylarının ise bilgisayarı hiç kullanmayan öğretmen adaylarına göre daha yüksek düzeyde bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapma tutumuna sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, yapılan korelasyon hesaplamaları sonucunda okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının öz yeterlik inançları ile bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapmaya ilişkin tutumları arasında düşük düzeyde pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda ise bilgisayar destekli eğitim sonucunda beş tema ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu temalar; okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının; ileride yürütecekleri öğretmenlik mesleğinde kendilerini yeterli görme durumları, ileride yürütecekleri öğretmenlik mesleğinde bilgisayar kullanma becerisine sahip olmanın önemi, bilgisayardan yararlanarak öğrencilere etkinlik hazırlama ve uygulama yeterliliği, bilgisayar destekli ders-etkinlik yapması, kendini geliştirmek için yaptıkları çalışmalar biçimindedir. Ortaya çıkan bu temalar ve gerçekleştirilen kodlamalar araştırmanın nicel ve nitel sonuçlarının birbiriyle paralel olduğunu göstermiştir. Çünkü araştırmanın her iki boyutunda birbirini destekler sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Kendisine ait bilgisayarı olan öğretmen adaylarının bilgisayar destekli eğitim yapma tutumları daha yüksektir ve yine aynı şekilde öğretmen adayları bilgisayar kullanma becerisine sahip olmanın birçok önemini de sıralamıştır. Bu bağlamda özellikle yürütülen derslerde BDE odaklı etkinliklere daha fazla zaman ayrılması önerilmiştir. Böylece BDE'nin olumlu etkilerinden daha fazla yarar sağlanabilir. Katılımcı grubunun farklı olduğu ve daha uzun uygulama süreli çalışmaların yapılması da önerilmektedir. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship of preschool teacher candidates' beliefs of self-efficacy and their attitudes about computer-assisted instruction and to what extent is it. The study was conducted with volunteer teacher candidates who studied at Firat, Cumhuriyet, Amasya, Ahi Evran and Dicle Universities in 2017-2018 academic year.Mixed model was used in this study. The study data were collected through `Preschool Self-Efficacy Beliefs Scale`, `Computer-Assisted Instruction Attitude Scale`, and interview forms. The quantitative research part of study was conducted acoording to correlational survey model from the kinds of general survey models. Forqualitative research part, the chosen 10 students from each specified university were interviewed.Preshool Teachers' Self Efficacy Beliefs Scale which developed by Tepe and Demir (2011) consists of 37 items with five point likert. Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficient was calculated as .97 for theoverall scale. In the current study, Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficient was dedected as .96. Computer-Assisted Instruction Attitude Scale which developed by Arslan (2006) consists of 20 items 10 of them positive, and 10 negative with five point likert. Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficient which calculated to reveal the reliability of scale, was found as .93. In the current study, Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficient was dedected as .91. The analysis of quantitative data was analyzed with statistical package SPSS-21, and qualitative data was analyzed by two different researchers. Following the study, it was determined that female preschool teacher canditates who conducted the Preshool Teachers' Self-Efficacy Beliefs Scale had higher level of self-efficacy than male preschool teacher candidates. Following the conducted scale, a meaningful difference was not determined between 3rd grade and 4th grade preschool teacher candidates' self-efficacy levels. The attitudes of teacher candidates who conducted the Computer-Assisted Instruction Attitude did not differ in terms of gender, and variable of whether they had their own Internet connection or not. It was determined that 4th grade preschool teacher candidates' had a higher level of attitude for computer-assisted instruction than 3rd grade preschool teachers. It was determined that teachers who had their own computers had a higher level of attitude for computer-assisted instruction than the teachers who did not have their own computers. Teacher candidates who used the computer for 3-4 hours per day had a higher level of attitude for computer-assisted instruction than teacher candidates who used the computer for 1-2hours, and the ones never used it per day. Teacher candidates who used the computer for 5 hours and over per day had a higher level of attitude for computer-assisted instruction than teacher candidates who never used it per day. However, following the correlation calculations, a positive and meaningful relation at low level was determined between preschool teacher candidates' self-efficacy beliefs and their attitudes for computer-assisted instruction. In qualitative dimension of study, five themes were determined following the computer-assisted instruction. These themes are preschool teachers candidates'; situations they find adequated themselves at teaching profession in the future, importance of having skill of using computer at teaching profession in the future, competence of preparing and performing activities for their students by benefiting from computer, having a computer-assisted class-activity, the efforts to improve themselves. These determined themes and codes showed that quantitative and qualitative results of study were parallel. This is because of reaching the results which support each other. Teacher candidates' who had their own computers, attitudes for having a computer-assisted class were higher, and they also mentioned about many importances of having the skill of use computer. In this regard, sparing more time for computer-assisted instruction centered activities especially at classes was suggested. Thus, it can be benefited more from the positive impacts of computer-assisted instruction. The study was offered with a different participant groupand in a more long practise term. 109

The efficiencies of sulfonated polystyrene flocculants (FSPS) obtained in modified sulfonation experiments were revealed for real wastewater treatment. Moreover, their performances were compared with sulfonated polystyrene obtained by conventional method and conventional flocculants. Efficiency of turbidity and COD removal with synthesized flocculants in coagulation-flocculation process shown an alteration based on plastics’ washing wastewater types and synthesized flocculants. While the highest turbidity removal efficiency with synthesized flocculants was obtained in HDPE, COD removal was found highest in PP washing wastewater. Moreover, while FSPS3 among synthesized flocculants shown better performance in turbidity removal from wastewaters, FSPS1 was better in COD removal. As for treatment sludge, FSPS3 usually had higher efficiency on enhancement of sludge dewatering properties compared to other synthesized flocculants., Sunulan bu çalışmada çeşitli modifiye sülfolama denemeleri yapılarak elde edilen sülfolanmış polistiren flokülantların gerçek atıksu arıtımında etkinlikleri ortaya konmuştur. Dahası, bu flokülantların performansları klasik yöntemle elde edilen sülfolanmış polistiren ve konvansiyonel flokülant ile kıyaslanmıştır. Koagülasyon-flokülasyon işleminde sentezlenen flokülantlar ile bulanıklık ve KOİ giderim yüzdesi, plastiklerin yıkama atıksuyu türüne ve sentezlenmiş flokülantlara göre değişiklik göstermiştir. Sentezlenen flokülantlar ile en yüksek bulanıklık giderimi HDPE atıksuyunda gözlenirken, KOİ giderimi en fazla PP yıkama atıksularında elde edilmiştir. Dahası, sentezlenen flokülantlar arasında FSPS3, atık sulardan bulanıklık gideriminde daha iyi performans gösterirken, FSPS1 KOİ gideriminde daha başarılı olmuştur. Çamurda ise, FSPS3 diğer sentezlenmiş flokülantlara kıyasla çamur susuzlaştırma özelliklerinin geliştirilmesinde genellikle daha yüksek verimliliğe sahiptir.

Mikro kirleticilerin sucul ortamlarda bulunması hem canlılar hem de çevre için endişe verici birçevre sorunu haline gelmiştir. Hızla ortaya çıkan/gelişen kirleticiler olarak da adlandırılan mikrokirleticiler doğal maddelerden ve giderek artan çeşitli antropojenik olaylardan meydana gelmektedir.Mikrokirleticiler farmasötikler, kişisel bakım ürünleri, steroid hormonlar, endüstriyel kimyasallar,pestisitler, poliaromatik hidrokarbonlar ve son zamanlarda görülen diğer bileşiklerden oluşmaktadır. Bukirleticiler farklı su kaynaklarında genellikle birkaç ng /L ile μg/ L arasında değişen çok düşük konsantrasyonlarda bulunmaktadır. Dünyadaki mevcut birçok Atıksu Arıtma Tesisi (AAT) özelliklemikro kirleticileri gidermek için tasarlanmamıştır. Mikro kirleticilerin düşük konsantrasyondabulunmaları ve çok çeşitli olmaları arıtma prosesleri boyunca belirleme ve analiz prosedürlerinizorlaştırmaktadır. Ayrıca, mikro kirleticilerin AAT’lerine sürekli olarak gelmeleri ve birçok mikrokirleticinin kararlı yapıya sahip olması bu kirleticilerin yeteri kadar giderilmesini zorlaştırmaktadır. Busebeple, mikro kirleticilerin birçoğu bilinmeyen konsantrasyonları ile beraber AAT’lerinden suculçevrelere geçmektedir. Sucul ortamlarda ciddi seviyelerde mikro kirletici oluşumları kısa vadeli ve uzunvadeli toksisiteyi de içeren endokrin bozucu etkiler gibi bir dizi olumsuz etkiler ile beraber suculekosistemleri bozmaktadır. Olumsuz etkileri bilinen mikro kirleticilerin yanı sıra canlı organizmalarüzerindeki etkileri hala bilinmeyen çok sayıda mikro kirletici de vardır. Sonuç olarak bu kirleticileringiderimi, hem çevresel ekosistemlerin hem de insan sağlığının korunması için büyük bir önemtaşımaktadır. Mikro kirleticilerin gideriminde klasik yöntemlerin yetersiz olduğu göz önündebulundurulursa daha iyi giderim verimleri için koagülasyon – flokülasyon, aktif karbon adsorpsiyonu(toz aktif karbon ve granül aktif karbon), ileri oksidasyon prosesleri (İOP), membran prosesleri vemembran biyoreaktörü içeren diğer alternatif arıtma yöntemleri uygulanabilir.Bu çalışmada; alternatif arıtma yöntemleri ve her bir arıtma yönteminin farklı mikro kirleticilerüzerindeki giderim verimleri araştırılarak, bütün alternatif arıtım yöntemleri mikro kirletici giderimverimleri bakımından birbirleri ile kıyaslanmıştır., Present of micropollutants in aquatic environments has become an alarmingenvironmental problem for both living creatures and environment. Micropollutants, also called asemerging contaminants arise from natural substances and increasing variety of anthropogenic events.Micropollutants consist of pharmaceuticals, personal care products, steroid hormones, industrialchemicals, pesticides, polyaromatic hydrocarbons and other recently seen compounds. These emergingcontaminants are commonly found in very low concentration in different water bodies ranging from afew ng/l to several μg/l.Many existing Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) in all over the world are not especially designedfor removing micropollutants. Low concentration and diversity of micropollutants complicate thededection and analysis procedures during the treatment processes. Furthermore, enteringmicropollutants to the WWTPs continuously and stable structure of many micropollutants makedifficult to eliminate these emerging compounds sufficiently. Therefore, many micropollutants ofunknown concentration pass to aquatic environment from WWTPs. The occurence of micropollutantswith a significant levels in aquatic environments disrupt the aquatic ecosystems with a number ofadverse effects including short-term and long-term toxicity such as endocrine disrupting effects. Besidesthe known negative effects of micropollutants there are great number of micropollutants whose effectson living organisms are still unknown. As a result, removing these compounds is of a great importanceboth to protect environmental ecosystem and human health. Considering that the conventional methodsare insufficient for removing the micropollutants other alternative treatment methods includingcoagulation–flocculation, activated carbon adsorption (powdered activated carbon and granularactivated carbon), advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), membrane processes and membrane bioreactorcan be applied for better removal.In this study, alternative treatments methods and removal efficiencies of each treatment methods ondifferent micropollutants were investigated and all alternative treatment methods were comparedbetween each other in terms of micropollutant removal rates.

Doğal organik maddeler (DOM) tüm yüzeysel sularda ve yeraltı sularında kompleks reaksiyonların bir sonucu olarak bulunduğundan oldukça heterojen bir bileşimdedir. DOM’in yaklaşık %90’ı sularda çözünmüş formda bulunmaktadır ve bu çözünmüş organik maddeler (ÇOM) içerisinde sucul hümik maddeler (SHM) en yüksek miktarda bulunan fraksiyondur. Su kaynaklarına yönelik çalışmalarda SHM’lere ilginin artmasındaki temel nedenlerden birincisi, içme suyu arıtımında kullanılan farklı oksidan ve dezenfektanlarla verdikleri reaksiyonlar sonucu insan sağlığı için zararlı olan dezenfeksiyon yan ürünlerini (trihalometanlar, haloasetik asitler vd.) oluşturmasıdır. İkinci neden ise su ortamlarında organik ve inorganik pek çok kirletici ile kompleks oluşturması veya sorplayarak suda taşımaya eğilimli olmasıdır. SHM’lerin sulardan izolasyonunda çok farklı yöntemler uygulanabilmektedir. Farklı reçineler kullanarak uygulanan reçine adsorpsiyon kromatografi (RAK) tekniği, yüksek hacimlerdeki sulardan SHM’leri gidermek ve konsantre hale getirmek için sıklıkla kullanılan bir metottur. Bu çalışmada RAK yönteminde Amberlite XAD-8, Bio-Rad AG-MP-50 ve Duolite A-7 reçineleri kullanılarak ÇOM fraksiyonlarına ayırma yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Reçineler, literatürde geliştirilen metotlar ve bazı modifikasyonlarla temizleme ve şartlandırma işlemlerine tabi tutulmuştur. Farklı yüzeysel su kaynaklarından alınan numunelere RAK yöntemi uygulanarak hidrofobik ve hidrofilik özelliklerine göre altı farklı fraksiyon elde edilmiştir. Bu fraksiyonların farklı yüzeysel su kaynakları için yüzde dağılımları belirlenmiştir., Natural organic matter (NOM) in surface waters and ground waters are heterogeneous compositions as a result of complex reactions. Approximately 90% of NOM is dissolved form in waters and aquatic humic matter (AHM) is the highest fraction of dissolved organic matter (DOM). The first of the main reasons for increased interest of AHM’s in water resources studies is the formation of disinfection by-products (trihalomethanes, halo acetic acids etc.) that are harmful for human health reacting with different oxidant and disinfectant used in drinking water treatment. The second reason is formation complex with organic and inorganic pollutants or sorption for transportation in water. There are many different methods for isolation of AHM’s from waters. Resin adsorption chromatography (RAC) technique used different resins, is a method widely used for the removal of AHMs from waters and to concentrate of AHMs. In this study, RAC method with using Amberlite XAD-8, Bio-Rad AG-MP-50 and Duolite A-7 resins was applied for fractionation of DOM in water. Resins were cleaned and conditioned with according to methods and modifications in the literature. RAC method was applied to different surface water samples and six different fractions were obtained according to the hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties for each water sample. Percentage distributions of these fractions of these fractions were determined for different surface water sources.

DYÜ’lerin en yaygın iki türü trihalometan (THM) ve haloasetik asit (HAA) bileşikleri insan ve çevre sağlığı açısından oldukça sakıncalıdır. Bu çalışmada Konya’da evsel ve endüstriyel su temininde ihtiyacı karşılayan Altınapa Barajı’ndan alınan su örneği, ters osmoz membran sisteminden geçirilerek mevcut çözünmüş organik maddelerin izole edilmesi sağlanmıştır. Elde edilen izolattan belirli seyreltmeler yapılarak farklı organik madde konsantrasyonlarında 4 farklı THM bileşiğinin oluşumu ve türlerin dağılımı belirlenmiştir. Farklı organik madde konsantrasyonlarında elde edilen toplam THM miktarı 58‐108 μg/L aralığındadır ve toplam THM içerisinde kloroform (CF) % 63‐89’luk kısmı oluşturmaktadır. Organik madde konsantrasyonun artırılması ile THM bileşiklerinin konsantrasyonlarının arttığı tespit edilmiştir., Chlorine is widely used disinfectant and reacts with natural organic matter (NOM) in waters to form disinfection by‐products (DBPs). Trihalomethanes (THMs) and haloacetic acids (HAAs) are the most common DBPs and potentially hazardous to environment and human health. In this study, water sample was obtained from Altinapa Dam, which has been used for the domestic and industrial water supply purposes in Konya. Dissolved organic matters in the dam water sample were isolated using a reverse osmosis membrane. The isolate was diluted with distilled water to adjust the different organic matter concentrations. Formation and speciation of four THM compounds were determined at different organic matter concentrations. The range of total THMs concentrations are 58‐108 μg/L and chloroform (CF) is 63‐89 % of total THMs. Increasing organic matter concentrations increase THMs concentrations.

Bu çalışmada atık Polistiren'e (PS) sülfolama işlemi uygulanmış ve sülfolanmış PS flokülant (FSPS) sentezlenmiştir. Farklı plastik türlerinin yıkama atıksularının arıtılabilirliği ve bu arıtımda sentezlenen FSPS flokülantın etkinliği araştırılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında (Yüksek Yoğunluklu Polietilen-HDPE), Düşük Yoğunluklu Polietilen-LDPE, Polietilen Tereftalat-PET, Polipropilen-PP, PS ve karışık) plastik atıkların yıkanmasıyla oluşan atıksuların koagülasyon-flokülasyon ile arıtılabilirliği ortaya konmuştur. Koagülant olarak Alum ve FeCl3, flokülant olarak FSPS ve polielektrolit (PEL) ile çalışılmıştır. Flokülant dozu ve pH optimizasyonları yapılmıştır. Plastik türüne göre yıkama atıksuyunun ve optimum arıtım koşullarının farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.HDPE yıkama atıksuyu için optimum pH 13 ve koagülant FeCl3 iken diğerleri için pH 9 olup Alum daha başarılıdır. Optimum FSPS dozu plastik türüne göre 5-20 mg/L aralığında değişmektedir. Optimize koşullarda %94-98 bulanıklık, %70-92 KOİ, %86-99 AKM ve %50-89 Yağ-gres giderimi sağlanmıştır. Sentezlenen flokülantın atıksu artımda verimli bir şekilde kullanılabileceği belirlenmiştir. Katı atık yönetiminde atık plastikten elde edilen alternatif ürünün değerlendirilerek arıtımda kullanılmasıyla atık minimizasyonuna katkı sağlayacak alternatif bir geri dönüşüm önerilmiştir. In this study, sulfonation was applied to waste polystyrene (PS) and sulfonated PS flocculant (FSPS) was synthesized. The treatability of washing wastewaters of different types of plastics and the effectiveness of synthesized FSPS in this treatment was investigated. The effectiveness of synthesized FSPS in physicochemical treatment of waste plastics (High Density Polyethylene-HDPE, Low Density Polyethylene-LDPE, Polyethylene Terephthalate-PET, Polypropylene-PP, PS and mixed) washing wastewaters was revealed. Alum and FeCl3 coagulants and FSPS and polyelectrolyte (PEL) flocculants were studied. Flocculant dosage and pH were optimized. Washing wastewater composition and optimal treatment conditions vary with type of plastic. Optimum pH and coagulant was determined as 13 and FeCl3 for HDPE washing wastewater while it was 9 and alum for others. Optimum FSPS dosage varies between 5-20 mg/L. Under optimized conditions 94-98% turbidity, 70-92% COD, 86-99% SS and 50-89% oil-grease removal could be achieved.This study indicated that the synthesized flocculant can be used efficiently in wastewater treatment. The study suggested a new solution incorporating recycled plastic product in wastewater treatment. This alternative solution will also contribute solid waste management, through minimization of waste generation by recycling. 83

Plastik talebin sürekli artması, her yıl çevrede atık birikiminin artmasına neden olmuştur. Plastiklerin sadece %2'si kapalı devre geri dönüşümlüdür, ancak sektördeki teknolojik ilerlemelerle tüm polimer türleri geri dönüştürülebilir. Sülfonasyon, polimerlerin istenen su emme, biyouyumluluk, iyon değiştirme kapasitesi, şişme, vb. gibi belirli yüzey özelliklerin elde edilmesi için en yaygın yöntemlerden biridir. Plastik geri dönüşüm endüstrisinde, toplanan atık plastikler küçük parçalara kesilerek üzerindeki kirliliklerin giderilmesi için genellikle yıkanması gerekmektedir.Yıkama işleminde ortaya çıkan su atıksu olarak toplanmaktadır. Bu tür atıksularda ana kirletici parametreler, kimyasal oksijen ihtiyacı (KOİ), askıda katı madde (AKM) ve yüksek pH'dır. Böylece yıkama suyunun deşarj edilmeden önce arıtılması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, geleneksel polistiren (PS) sülfonasyon işleminde modifikasyon yapılarak atık PS ve atık PET ile polimerik flokülantlar sentezlenmiştir. Sentezlenen flokülantların yapısı karakterize edilmiştir. Daha sonra sentezlenmiş malzemelerin plastik yıkama atık sularının (WPWW) koagülasyon/flokülasyon ile arıtımında bulanıklık, KOİ ve AKM giderim etkinliği araştırılmıştır. Sentezlenmiş flokülantlar, aynı koşullar altında konvansiyonel PEL ile benzer, hatta daha yüksek performansa sahiptirler. HDPE WPWW'de 50 mg L-1 FSPET2 flokülant dozu ile orjinal pH'da en yüksek bulanıklık giderimi (%86) elde edildi. En yüksek KOİ ve AKM giderimleri (%79 ve %52) PS ve PET WPWW'lerde elde edildi. PS ve HDPE WPWW'lerin arıtma performansları orijinal pH'da yüksekken, LDPE ve PP atıksuları için pH 7'de en iyi arıtma, PET ve Karışık plastik atıksuları için pH 9'da yüksek arıtma işlemi gerçekleştirildi.Anahtar Kelimeler: Koagülasyon/flokulasyon; Polimerik flokülant; Sülfonasyon; Atık plastik yıkama atıksuyu (WPWW) The continuous rising of plastic demand led to the growth in waste accumulation in the environment every year. Only 2% of all plastics are closed-loop recycled although with technological advancements in industry all types of polymers can be recycled. Sulfonation is one of the most common methods to modify the surface properties of polymers in order to achieve certain characteristics of desired water absorption, biocompatibility, ion exchange capacity, swelling, etc. In plastics recycling industry the collected waste plastic has been cut into smaller pieces, and then the stock usually needs to be washed in order to remove lingering dirt or attachments. The washing effluent that is produced in washing process is collected as wastewater. The main pollutant parameters in such wastewaters are chemical oxygen demand (COD), suspended solids and high pH. Thus, the washing water needs to be purified prior to discharge. In this study first several polymeric flocculants were synthesized with waste polystyrene (PS) and waste PET by modifying the conventional PS sulfonation process. The synthesized materials were characterized and sulfonation was confirmed. Then the effectiveness of those synthesized materials in coagulation/flocculation treatment of plastic washing wastewaters in terms of turbidity, COD, and TSS removals were investigated. Synthesized flocculants have higher performance under the same conditions as their conventional counterparts, PEL. The highest turbidity removal (86%) was obtained at original pH with a dose of 50 mg.L-1 FSPET2 flocculant in HDPE WPWW and the highest COD (79%) and TSS (52%) removals were achieved in PS and PET WPWWs. Zeytinyağı üretimi sırasında oluşan zeytin karasuyu, Akdeniz ülkelerinde başlıca çevresel sorunlardan biridir. Uzun yıllardır zeytin işleyen ve zeytinyağı üreten tesislerden kaynaklı atıkların değerlendirilmesine ve/veya çevresel zararlarının önlenmesine yönelik ulusal ve uluslararası çalışmalar sürdürülmektedir. Bu çalışmada zeytinyağı üretiminden kaynaklanan karasuyun fizikokimyasal arıtılabilirliğini optimize eden akım şeması oluşturulmuş ve performansı ortaya konmuştur. Zeytin karasuyundan ilk aşamada ön çöktürme ile çökebilen katı maddeler uzaklaştırılırken aynı zamanda gazete kağıdından elde edilen adsorban madde ile yağ-gres içeriği yüzeyden toplanmıştır. Ön arıtım çıkış suyuna koagülasyon-flokülasyon-çöktürme prosesleri uygulandığında 4000 mg/L alum dozu optimum doz olarak belirlenmiş ancak oluşan çamurda çökme problemi gözlenmiştir. Sonifikasyon ön işlemi(90 W t=3 dk) ve yardımcı koagülan madde(pirinanın pirolizinden elde edilen çar) ilavesiyle tamamlanan akım şeması uygulandığında oluşan çamurun iyi çökeldiği ve daha verimli arıtım sağlandığı gözlemlenmiştir. Başlangıç KOİ, BOİ, TKN, AKM, Cu, Organik madde ve Mn içerikleri sırasıyla 107200,43570,9700,8773,4677,6500,4190 mg/L olan atıksuyun arıtım çıkış suyunda KOİ %59,7, BOİ %57,1 TKN %93,5 AKM %68,3, Cu %55,1 Organik Madde %52,3, Mn %48,7 giderilmiştir. Atıksuda eser miktarda bulunan diğer kirleticilerde de arıtım sağlanmıştır. Zeytin karasuyunun arıtım süreci öncesinde ve sonrasında yapısında bulunan organik bileşikler tanımlanmıştır. Bu organik bileşiklerin farklı endüstrilerde hammadde ve katkı maddesi olarak kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Madde geri kazanımı yapılabilirliği açısından zengin içeriğe sahip karasudan arıtım öncesinde bu organik bileşiklerin kazanılması karasuyun kirlilik seviyesinin düşürülmesine de yardım edecektir. Bunun yanında arıtım sonrasında da geri kazanım yapılabilecek bileşime sahiptir. Geri kazanım teknikleri ve optimizasyonu ile arıtma çamuru karakterizasyonu ile madde geri kazanımı bu çalışmanın devamında önerilen çalışmalardır. Olive water produced during olive oil production is one of the main environmental problems in Mediterranean countries. National and international studies are ongoing for the evaluation of wastes originating from olive processing and olive oil producing plants for many years and / or prevention of environmental damages. In this study, a flowchart which optimizes the physicochemical treatability of the wastewater originating from olive oil production has been created and its performance has been demonstrated. In the first stage, the solid materials which can be precipitated by pre-precipitation were removed from the olive water, while the oil-grease content was collected by the adsorbent material obtained from the newspaper. When the coagulation-flocculation-precipitation processes were applied to the pretreatment effluent, the dose of 4000 mg / L alum was determined as the optimum dose, but the sludge settling problem was observed.When the flow chart completed by sonification pretreatment (90 W t = 3 min) and the addition of auxiliary coagulant (cz obtained from pyrolysis of pyrina), the sludge formed was well settled and more efficient treatment was observed.Initially COD, BOD, TKN, TSS, Cu, Organic matter and Mn content of 107200, 43570, 9700, 8773, 4677, 6500, 4190 mg/L were removed as COD 59.7%, BOD 57.1% TKN 93.5% TSS 68.3%, Cu 55.1% Organic Matter 52.3%, Mn 48.7% in wastewater treatment effluent. Other trace pollutants in wastewater were also treated. Organic compounds found in the structure of olive water before and after the treatment process were identified. It has been indicated that these organic compounds are being used as raw materials and additives in different industries. The recovery of these organic compounds prior to purification from land which is rich in content recovery feasibility will also help to reduce the pollution level of wastewater. It also has a composition that can be recovered after treatment. Recycling techniques and optimization and treatment of sludge characterization and material recovery are recommended following this study. 71
