Recent exploration efforts have revealed significant industrial gas flow from the Wujiaping Formation marine shale in the Longmen-Wushankan area of the eastern Sichuan Basin, underscoring its considerable exploration potential. In this study, the reservoir characteristics and exploration potential of the Wujiaping Formation shale gas in this area are further evaluated. On the basis of well rock electrical properties, experimental analyses, and depositional and structural patterns in the eastern region, we characterize the reservoir properties and identify the primary factors controlling shale gas accumulation. The results indicate that the Wujiaping shale is characterized by a high organic matter content, favorable pore types, high porosity, and a high content of brittle minerals, which are conducive to subsequent development and fracturing. A positive correlation is observed between the total organic carbon (TOC) content, porosity, brittle mineral content, and shale gas content. The TOC content is strongly correlated with the gas content (the correlation coefficient is 0.75). The high shale gas yield of the Wujiaping Formation is attributed to a combination of favorable sedimentary environments, pore conditions, roof and floor conditions, and fracturing capabilities. However, compared with the Longmaxi Formation in the Sichuan Basin, the Wujiaping Formation shale is characterized by a lower porosity, thinner shale, and deeper burial, posing challenges for exploration and development. In this study, criteria for evaluating Wujiaping Formation shale gas are established, and four favorable exploration areas are identified. Overall, the Permian Wujiaping Formation marine shale in the Longmen-Wushankan area holds promising exploration and development potential. The reliability of construction technology and physical properties is the key of using of masonry stone curtain wall. This paper introduced the masonry technology of this type stone curtain, and developed experiment to verify its deformation performance between stories and the ultimate wind load resistance performance combined with engineering in the laboratory. The experiment showed that the construction technology and physical properties of masonry stone curtain wall meet the design requirements because of adopting the new masonry technology, although the width of gap of the stone panel didn't satisfy the requirement of standard JGJ 133-2013. Interleukin-23 receptor (IL23R) can interact with IL-23 and, thus, is involved in the T-helper 17 (Th17) cell-mediated inflammatory process as well as tumorigenesis. Recently, a functional single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs10889677 has been identified in the 3’-untranslated region of IL-23R. It has been showed that the rs10889677AC SNP could increase the binding affinity of microRNA let-7f and downregulate IL-23R expression. Several case-control studies have examined the association between this SNP and genetic susceptibility of multiple solid tumors. However, the conclusions are conflicting. Therefore, we conducted this meta-analysis to systematically study the role of this functional IL-23R SNP in development of multiple solid tumors. There are a total of 5 studies are eligible (6731 cases and 7296 healthy controls). Either fixed-effect model or random-effect model was used to calculate pooled odds ratios (ORs) and the 95% confidence interval (95% CI). Significant association between this functional rs10889677 genetic variant and risk of multiple solid tumors were observed (CC genotype vs. AA genotype: OR = 0.59, 95% CI = 0.53-0.66, P < 0.001). Primary small cell carcinoma (SCC) of the brain is rare, and there have been no reports of small cell carcinoma located at the resection site of a glioma without extracranial tumours. Herein, we report a case of brain SCC in the same intracranial region from which a malignant glioma had been surgically resected a year prior. The patient, a 68-year-old male, had headaches as a symptom, and brain CT and MRI revealed a hyperdense region measuring 5.5×5 centimetres. Blood test results showed no significant changes. H&E staining suggested that these tumour cells had the characteristics of small cell lung carcinoma cells. Immunohistochemical staining for the glioma marker S100 was negative, but immunohistochemical staining for the neuroendocrine marker synaptophysin and for the cell adhesion molecule CD56 was strongly positive; meanwhile, staining for thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1), a relatively specific marker of lung and thyroid carcinoma, was positive, and the Ki67 index was 75%. The pathological examination strongly suggested that the tumour was a small cell lung carcinoma, but CT and MRI scans indicated that there were no extracranial tumours. Hence, the tumour could be a primary small cell brain carcinoma. The patient underwent surgical resection again; the excised tumour was a mass of grey and white tissues with fragmentary morphology, and its dimensions were 3.0 cm×1.5 cm×0.8 cm., Competing Interests: None., (IJCEP Copyright © 2021.)
