Abstract

Ülkemizde, süt çocukluğu döneminde üriner sistem taş sıklığı giderek artış göstermektedir. Bu artış, USG'nin yaygınlaşması ile ilgili olduğu gibi iklim ve beslenme alışkanlıklarının değişmesi ile de yakından ilişkilidir. Amaç: Bir yaşın altındaki taşlı bebeklerde, risk faktörleri ve VDR gen polimorfizmleri incelenmiştir. Gereç & Yöntem: Bir yaş altı yaz dönemi doğmuş 40 sağlıklı, 20 ÜSTH bulunan ve kış dönemi doğmuş 40 sağlıklı, 20 ÜSTH bulunan bebek çalışmaya alınmıştır. Tüm bebekler için; ayrıntılı anket yapılmış; taş etyolojisinde yer alan metabolik değerler, 25(OH)D düzeyi, VDR gen polimorfizmlerinden ApaI ve FokI incelenmiştir.Bulgular: Çalışmada; serum 25(OH)D düzeyi için 4 grup arasında fark saptanmazken (p>0,05), mama ile besleniyor olma (p0,05). Taş etyolojisinde altta yatan metabolik bir anormallik olarak hiperkalsiüri, %38'lik bir oranla ilk sırada karşımıza çıkmıştır.Sonuç: Mama ile beslenme, D vitamini desteği olarak multivitamin kullanma; bebeklerde taş oluşumunu arttırmaktadır.Anahtar kelimeler: infant, ürolitiyazis, D vitamini, VDR gen polimorfizm The incidence of urinary tract stones in infancy has been increasing in Turkey. Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), is the first pandemic of the 21st century. SARS-CoV-2 infection is mainly transmitted via droplets. Although some cases of perinatal transmission have been reported, it is unclear whether these infections occurred via transplacental or transcervical routes or via environmental exposure. Herein, we present the case of a newborn who died with neonatal acute respiratory distress syndrome exhibiting severe pulmonary involvement. The baby was born to a COVID-19 PCR (+) mother by C-section and was found to be COVID-19 PCR (+) from a nasopharyngeal swab sample tested within 24 hours of birth due to the suspected transplacental transmission of SARS-CoV-2 from the mother to the fetus., Competing Interests: None, (Sociedad Argentina de Pediatría.)
