ObjectiveTo understand the core information awareness of chronic disease prevention and control and its influencing factors among adult residents in Heilongjiang province, and to provide a reference for formulating chronic disease prevention and control strategies and intervention measures. MethodsFrom March to April 2021, a quota sampling method was used to select 5 238 adult residents aged ≥ 18 years old from 10 districts and counties in 8 cities in Heilongjiang province, including Nangang district and Daowai district in Harbin city, Yi’an county in Qiqihar city, Beilin district in Suihua city, Datong district in Daqing city, Luobei county in Hegang city, Huachuan county in Jiamusi city, Muling city and Ning′an city in Mudanjiang city, and Boli county in Qitaihe city, to conduct an online questionnaire survey and analyze the core information awareness of chronic disease prevention and control and its influencing factors among adult residents in Heilongjiang province. ResultsAmong the 5 226 adult residents in Heilongjiang province finally included in the analysis, 3 388 were aware of the core information of chronic disease prevention and control, with an awareness rate of 64.83%; the scoring rates of the dimensions of awareness of the severity of chronic diseases, healthy lifestyles for preventing chronic diseases, core knowledge of hypertension prevention and control, core knowledge of diabetes prevention and control, core knowledge of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease prevention and control, identification of cancer risk factors, and core knowledge of chronic respiratory disease prevention and control were 88.88%, 81.92%, 80.95%, 85.72%, 85.07%, 86.80%, and 83.02%, respectively; multivariate unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that adult residents in Heilongjiang province aged ≥ 25 years old and with a junior high school education or above had higher awareness rates of core information on chronic disease prevention and control, while adult residents in Heilongjiang province with occupations of manual labor had lower awareness rates of core information on chronic disease prevention and control. ConclusionThe awareness rate of core information on chronic disease prevention and control among adult residents in Heilongjiang province has reached the 60% target requirement for 2020 in the Medium- and Long-term Plan for the Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Diseases in China (2017 – 2025), but there is still a certain gap from the 70% target for 2025, and there are differences in the awareness levels of core knowledge of chronic diseases in different dimensions, with the lowest scoring rate in the dimension of core knowledge of hypertension prevention and treatment; age, education level, and occupation are the main influencing factors of core information awareness of chronic disease prevention and control among local adult residents.

Abstract Precast concrete structures have developed rapidly because they meet the requirements of green and low-carbon social development. In this paper, a precast post-tensioned high-performance concrete frame beam-column joint was proposed, and the low-cycle reversed load test was performed on the four proposed joints. The main differences between the four joints are the different prestress values applied by the joints and whether the beam-column joint is provided with L-shaped steel. The seismic performance indexes such as hysteresis curve, stiffness degradation, deformation capacity, energy dissipation capacity and residual deformation of each node were obtained through experiments. By comparing various seismic performance indicators, it could be found that the use of high-performance concrete could effectively avoid the phenomenon of local crushing of concrete due to excessive prestressing. At the same time, it was found that the setting of L-shaped steel plate at the beam-column junction could effectively avoid the early damage at the beam-column junction. On the basis of the test, the three-line restoring force model of the joint was established by the method of experimental regression analysis. The model could better reflect the stress situation of each stage of the joint. Based on the experimental and theoretical analysis, the finite element analysis model of the joint was established, and the model calculation results were in good agreement with the experimental results.

Extracting building construction time is crucial for effective land resource management and sustainable urban development, particularly in fast-growing urban areas. However, acquiring building construction time remains challenging due to limited observations with multiple changes. To address this issue, we applied a monthly time series of remote sensing images and the LandTrendr change detection algorithm to extract building construction times. We identified the sensitive index of short wavelength infra-red (SWIR) from satellite observations for detecting changes in building construction, demolition, and reconstruction. Comparing composite results at different temporal intervals revealed that monthly data is more effective in accurately characterizing building changes compared to daily and yearly intervals. Additionally, our improved algorithm in Google Earth Engine identified the maximum change time as the construction turning point at the pixel level. We then revealed Beijing's construction time from 1990 to 2020 by overlaying building footprint data with extracted year information from Landsat images. Our results achieved an 82.32% agreement on identified construction time of buildings with a two-year tolerance strategy using 560 randomly collected building samples. Our results outperformed traditional methods such as annual time series composition with the same LandTrendr algorithm, historical surveying map, and building change time of social big data monitoring, with derived overall accuracies of 68.75%, 74.64%, and 67.47%, respectively, suggesting the good performance of the adopted approach. This study offered a potential avenue for detailed monitoring of urban building changes at a fine-grained spatial scale, with far-reaching implications for sustainable urban development practices.

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) records important information about the interaction of electromagnetic waves with the Earth’s surface. However, long-term and high-resolution backscatter coefficient data are still lacking in many urban studies (e.g., building height estimation). Here, we proposed a framework to reconstruct the 1-km backscatter coefficient in 1990–2022 utilizing the Sentinel-1 Ground Range Detected data and Landsat time series data in the Jing–Jin–Ji (JJJ) region. First, we developed a regression model to convert the optical signals from Landsat into backscatter coefficients as the Sentinel-1 data, using observations from 2015 to 2022. Then, we reconstructed backscatter coefficients from 1990 to 2022 using the long-term Landsat data. Using the reconstructed backscatter coefficients, we analyzed the dynamic patterns of building height over the past decades. The proposed approach performs well on estimating the backscatter coefficient and its spatial pattern, with the annual mean absolute error, root mean square error, and R2 of 1.10 dB, 1.50 dB, and 0.64, respectively. The temporal trends revealed from the reconstructed backscatter data are reliable compared with satellite observations at a relatively coarse resolution, with Pearson’s coefficients above 0.92 in 6 sample cities. The derived building height from the reconstructed SAR data indicates that the JJJ region experienced a noticeable upward expansion in 1990–2022, e.g., Beijing has the fastest growth rate of 0.420 km3/decade regarding the total building volumes. The proposed framework of reconstructing SAR data from optical satellite images provides a new insight to complement the long-term and high-resolution backscatter from local to global scales.

Abstract Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) is a group of autoimmune-mediated disorders of the central nervous system primarily involving the optic nerve and spinal cord. There are limited reports of NMOSD associated with peripheral nerve damage. Case presentation We report a 57-year-old female patient who met the diagnostic criteria for aquaporin 4 (AQP4)-IgG positive NMOSD with undifferentiated connective tissue disease and multiple peripheral neuropathy. In addition, the patient was positive for multiple anti-ganglioside antibodies (anti-GD1a IgG antibodies and anti-GD3 IgM antibodies) and anti-sulfatide IgG antibodies in serum and cerebrospinal fluid. After treatment with methylprednisolone, gamma globulin, plasma exchange, and rituximab, the patient’s status improved and was subsequently discharged from our hospital. Conclusions The neurologist should be aware of the unusual association between NMOSD and immune-mediated peripheral neuropathy undifferentiated connective tissue disease and nerve damage mediated by multiple antibodies may have combined to cause peripheral nerve damage in this patient.

The existing packed mail-based return mode in ecommerce has a considerable negative impact on the natural environment. In contrast, a package-free return mode accepts unpacked ecommerce returns using return points in-store and is a more eco-friendly service. On the basis of the push–pull–mooring (PPM) framework, this study aims to identify key factors in green communication that contribute to consumers switching from mail return services to package-free return services. A scenario-based online survey was conducted. Structural equation modeling was used to test the hypotheses. Push factors (consumer dissatisfaction) and a mooring factor (mail return habit) only manifested weak effects on switching intention. Regarding pull factors (service convenience and green value), in contrast to previous research, the effect of green value on switching intention was found to be much weaker than the effect of service convenience. Convenience was found to be the key factor in green communication. Our research adds value to green communication and the PPM framework. It updates existing knowledge concerning the role of consumer dissatisfaction, perceived green value, and perceived convenience of return service in green communication. This study also explains why the mooring factor of habit fails to predict switching intention.

Recently, the Metaverse boom has swept the world.To improve the voice in the future digital field, major countries and well-known enterprises have accelerated arrangement of this emerging industry.However, there is no unified definition and ultimate form description of Metaverse.It is urgent to understand the essential characteristics, evolution trend and security risks of Metaverse scientifically, which can promote the high-quality development of China’s electronic information industry and ensure the cyberspace security.With literature research and related information analysis, the definition of Metaverse was put forward based on the core concepts such as technology and application iteration, economic and business model and the role of social relations.Additionally, the development and evolution of Metaverse were divided into four stages (data creation, digital bionics, virtual mirror and virtual-real symbiosis) according to the evolution degree of space category, space-time dimension, key technology and virtual real interaction.And the characteristics and corresponding forms of each stage were expounded.Then it analyzed the main reasons for the popularity of the Metaverse from the perspectives of innovative application demand, virtual life transformation, commercial value driving and political power driving.Focusing on the problems of challenging the national governance system, impacting the mainstream ideology, manipulating the capital market, causing potential social problems and misleading the layout of technology industry, it analyzed the multiple security risks and threats brought by the Metaverse wave from perspectives including politics, culture, economy, society and technology.It is suggested that the Metaverse is still in the stage of concept improvement and product exploration now.China should rationally grasp the development opportunities of the Metaverse based on the current situation of the electronic information industry, prepare for risks in advance, build a digital governance supervision system, stimulate industrial innovation and open development, consolidate the support of network information security, and create a healthy and orderly international environment.

The challenge of climate change is becoming more and more serious, and the "warm war" has been launched around the world. After China's "dual carbon" target was put forward, various sectors have studied and developed their own emission reduction plans. As an important basic industry of national economy, metal mineral industry faces both challenges and opportunities in green and low-carbon transformation. This paper focuses on nickel, one of the most important metals in power battery, and its comprehensive application prospect under the dual drive of clean energy and high nickelization of power battery. At present, nickel mainly used in stainless steel production will gradually decrease in the green and low-carbon transition, and the consumption of battery grade nickel sulfate will increase rapidly. Laterite type nickel ore has become the main source of nickel as nickel sulfide ore resources become scarce. At present, laterite nickel ore is mainly produced by KREF and other pyrosmelting processes to produce nickel-iron and stainless steel. With the increasing demand for battery grade nickel sulfate, high pressure acid leaching nickel wet smelting of intermediate products and converting nickel-iron to high matte nickel to produce nickel sulfate may become the development trend of comprehensive utilization of laterite nickel ore in the future.

In the traditional methods of meteorological risk early warning and forecasting, the vulnerability factors of disaster bearing bodies are ignored when classifying the meteorological risk level, and the meteorological risk prediction level is relatively high, which leads to the high air report rate in high-level risk areas. Based on this, a method of early warning and forecasting of meteorological risk of landslide and collapse geological disasters based on machine learning is proposed. By using the information quantity method, the influence degree of meteorological factors is analyzed, and the coordinate point, rainfall and prone level are selected as input nodes of machine learning artificial neural network to judge whether geological disaster occurs; for the area of ground damage, the meteorological cause sub index is calculated according to the influence degree. Combined with the potential degree of geological disaster and vulnerability of disaster bearing body, the meteorological risk warning index is determined, divide the warning and forecast level, and complete the forecast of geological disaster meteorological risk. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the three-level forecast air report rate and the fourth level air alarm rate, and improve the precision of the early warning forecast.

The pearl oyster Pinctada martensii is an important species for sea pearl production in China. To explore the influence of the combination of mass selection and hybridization on growth performance of P. martensii, we established four selected groups and four control groups (each with two within-family crosses and two reciprocal hybrid crosses) using 1-year-old offspring of two families (Family A and Family B) from Beihai, Guangxi Province, China. Generally, the growth of the selected group was greater than that of the control group for both within-family crosses and reciprocal hybrid crosses. Shell length and width were affected by genotype, environmental factors, and the interaction between the two on Days 210 and 360. The shell widths of the four reciprocal hybrid crosses all showed heterosis on Day 360. The four within-family crosses showed a certain degree of inbreeding depression during the growth period. On Day 360, the three genetic parameters for shell width of the selected group of ♀ Family B and ♂ Family A were the largest, with values of 0.70, 1.17, and 0.06 for realized heritability, standard response to selection, and current genetic gain, respectively. Overall, the growth performance of ♀ Family B × ♂ Family A in the selected group was the best. Therefore, the combination of mass selection and hybridization could be an effective way to improve the growth performance of P. martensii.

With the reaction between Cu(NO3)2·3H2O and 4-(2′,3′-dicarboxylphenoxy) benzoic acid (H3L), a semirigid trichromatic acid ligand, in the presence of N-donor co-ligand 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl) ethylene (bpe), two novel mixed-ligand coordination polymers (CPs), i.e., [Cu(H2L)2(bpe)(H2O)2]bpe·(H2O)4 (1) and [Cu3(L)2(bpe)3(H2O)4]·(H2O)6 (2), have been created under different solvent systems. Furthermore, the biological activity of compounds was evaluated, and the related mechanism was explored as well. Firstly, the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was conducted to measure the content of coagulation factors in the serum after compound treatment. In addition to this, the real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay was conducted, and the inflammatory response in the brain was also determined.

Light sensitivity is important for marine benthic invertebrates, and it plays a vital role in the oysters settling. Generally, the emerging of eyespot is a signal of oyster larvae settling, while like most of the other coastal species, the oysters are threatened by artificial light pollution. Crassostrea gigas and Crassostrea sikamea are two oyster species naturally distributed in China, and their hybrids are potential material for oyster cross-breeding. Therefore, we investigated the phototaxis of hybrid eyespot larvae and eyeless larvae under different light intensities and wavelengths to uncover how light affects their behaviors. The results indicated that hybrid oyster larvae had positive phototaxis to specific light intensity and wavelength. We further concluded that 5 lx was the positive phototaxis light intensity for the eyeless hybrid larvae, and that the acceptable light intensity range of the eyespot hybrid larvae expanded to 5–10 lx, but no higher than 15 lx; besides, the hybrid larvae behaved negatively to the light over 25 lx. The present study also suggested the positive effects of green light on larvae gathering and the induction of red light on eyespot larvae settling. In conclusion, our study may contribute to the understanding of phototaxis of hybrid oyster larvae, as well as the further perspective of light pollution on benthic communities and coastal system restoration.

Winter North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) indexes from observations based on various winter durations are compared. Results show that there are significant differences in the interannual and decadal variations of these NAO indexes. For the same data source, a different definition of winter duration can lead to different signs of NAO index in some years, which mainly appear to be in the period of decadal phase transition. The different winter durations induce different cycles of the observation-based NAO. The longer the winter duration, the stronger the decadal variation. The NAO defined by different winter durations also can generate different descriptions of the NAO action centers, including the position and movement. The longer the winter duration, the more southerly action centers appear to be. The movement of the action centers affects not only site-based NAO indexes but also those defined by other methods, such as empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis. The length of time used in EOF analysis has a great influence on the spatial pattern of the NAO mode, which results in a considerable difference between the corresponding NAO indexes. Regardless of which NAO index is used, the NAO-related SST anomalies show the same tripole pattern. The longer the winter duration, the more significant the relationship between the NAO and SST affected by the timescale of sea–air interaction.

Abstract The second version of Chinese Academy of Sciences Earth System Model (CAS‐ESM 2) is described with emphasis on the development process, strength and weakness, and climate sensitivities in simulations of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) DECK experiments. CAS‐ESM 2 was built as a numerical model to simulate both the physical climate system as well as atmospheric chemistry and carbon cycle. It is a newcomer in the international modeling community to provide sufficiently independent solutions of climate simulations from those of other models. Performances of the model in simulating the basic states of the radiation budget of the atmosphere and ocean, precipitation, circulations, variabilities, and the twentieth century warming are presented. Model biases and their possible causes are discussed. Strength includes horizontal heat transport in the atmosphere and oceans, vertical profile of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation; weakness includes the double intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and stronger amplitude of the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) that are also common in many other models. The simulated the twentieth century warming shares a similar discrepancy with observations as in several other models—less warming in the 1920s and stronger cooling in the 1960s than in observation—at the time when there was a steep increase of anthropogenic aerosols. As a result, the twentieth century warming is about 60% of the observed warming despite that the model simulated a similar slope of warming trend after 1980 to observation. The model has an equilibrium climate sensitivity of 3.4 K with a positive cloud feedback from the shortwave radiation.

Background/Aims: Injuries of the brain and spinal cord result in the formation of glial (reactive gliosis) and fibrotic (formed by fibroblasts) scars. Recent studies have shown that the fibrotic scar was much more important for hindering regeneration after brain or spinal cord injury than the astrocytic scar. However, it has been given much less attention for effects and mechanism of fibroblasts during formation of the fibrotic scar. Resveratrol may be a potential anti-scarring agent in burn-related scarring and keloid fibroblasts. However, it is unclear whether and how resveratrol affects formation of the fibrotic scar after brain or spinal cord injury. Earlier studies have shown that the activated Shh signaling has anti-apoptosis, anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation properties. Moreover, resveratrol can activate the Shh signaling. However, it is unclear how resveratrol activates the Shh signaling. Resveratrol is a activator of Sirt1. It is unknown whether resveratrol activates the Shh signaling via Sirt1. Methods: NIH3T3 cells, a fibroblast cell line, were used as model cells and treated with drugs. Cell viability was assessed by Cell Counting Kit 8. The expressions and activity of Shh signaling pathway proteins were evaluated by immunocytochemistry and Western blotting. Transcriptional activity of Gli-1 was detected with Dual-Luciferase Reporter Gene Assay Kit. Results: Resveratrol, Sirt1 agonist STR1720 and recombinant mouse Shh protein, an activator of hedgehog signaling, enhanced the viability of NIH3T3 cells, promoted Smo to translocated to the primary cilia and Gli-1 entered into the nuclei from cytoplasm, and upregulated expressions of Shh, Ptc-1, Smo, and Gli-1 proteins, which can be reversed by Smo antagonist cyclopamine and Sirt1 antagonist Sirtinol. Additionally, resveratrol increased transcriptional activity of Gli-1. Conclusion: We indicate in the first time that it may be mediated by Sirt1 for resveratrol activating the Shh signaling to enhance viability of NIH3T3 cells, and Sirt1 may be a regulator for upstream of the Shh signaling pathway.This study provides a basis for further investigating effects and mechanism of resveratrol during the formation of fibrous scar after brain or spinal cord injury.

Coordination and innovation of cloud-network will become the differentiated competitive advantage of telecom operators,the integration innovation based on the existing cloud network soltions will be the basic,and the business innovation of cloud-network coordination will be the most important.Based on this,the core concept,industry development,typical services,and industry trends were reviewed and analyzed.The core needs of business application of cloud-network coordination of telecom operators were summarized.A hierarchical functional architecture of cloud-network coordination service based on overlay technology was analyzed,and the key technologies were described.The reference system architecture of cloud-network coordination of telecom operators were proposed based on the cloud business needs and network developing status of telecom operators.And the typical business scenaries of cloud-network coordination of telecom operators were emphatically analyzed.

The traditional way was used to qualitatively describe the IPv6 communication capabilities for end-to-end carrier grade network with many old devices.By introducing concepts of IPv6 communication events,IPv6 communication capability index,the algorithms were presented to calculate the IPv6 communication capability index for single node,node set,single path,multi-path and end-to-end network.These algorithms were also used to analyze and evaluate the IPv6 communication capability for end-to-end carrier grade network.

Hybrid oysters often show heterosis in growth rate, weight, survival and adaptability to extremes of salinity. Oysters have also been used as model organisms to study the evolution of host-defense system. To gain comprehensive knowledge about various physiological processes in hybrid oysters under low salinity stress, we performed transcriptomic analysis of gill tissue of Crassostrea sikamea ♀ × Crassostrea angulata♂ hybrid using the deep-sequencing platform Illumina HiSeq. We exploited the high-throughput technique to delineate differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in oysters maintained in hypotonic conditions. A total of 199,391 high quality unigenes, with average length of 644 bp, were generated. Of these 35 and 31 genes showed up- and down-regulation, respectively. Functional categorization and pathway analysis of these DEGs revealed enrichment for immune mechanism, apoptosis, energy metabolism and osmoregulation under low salinity stress. The expression patterns of 41 DEGs in hybrids and their parental species were further analyzed by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). This study will serve as a platform for subsequent gene expression analysis regarding environmental stress. Our findings will also provide valuable information about gene expression to better understand the immune mechanism, apoptosis, energy metabolism and osmoregulation in hybrid oysters under low salinity stress.

By redefining the reserved CU bits in IPv6 header traffic class field and the structured code of IPv6 flow label,the region information, application information, port number or other information were defined. The capability of identifying traffic type based on flow label code value was improved, the way to use the IPv6 flow label for differentiated service in IPv6 transiting network was discussed.
