ObjectiveTo know the epidemic incidence features of the nurseries and kindergartens in Jinshan District， and to supply the scientific supporting data for the work of preventing and controlling the epidemic diseases in nurseries and kindergartens.MethodsThe epidemic incidence rate， diseases sequence， and time distribution in Jinshan District from Jan 1， 2011 to Dec 30， 2020 were subjected to descriptive epidemic analysis， and the incidence rate in different years was analyzed by the Model of Joinpoint.ResultsBetween 2011 and 2020 in Jinshan nurseries and kindergartens， the epidemic incidence rate were 5 257 cases， with an annual average of 3.28%. It presented the peak every 2 or 3 years， and the yearly peak was distinctively from March to June and from September to December. The top three epidemic diseases were hand-foot-mouth diseases， herpangina and chicken pox. The trend analysis by Joinpoint showed that there is no obvious downtrend in the overall incidence of infectious diseases， but the incidence rate trend of herpangina， influenza， and infectious diarrhea apparently appeared rising.ConclusionThe nurseries and kindergartens should prevent and control the epidemic incidence peak more targeted and effective. It should add the herpangina to the list of “The Nursery and Kindergarten Monthly Epidemic Report”.

BackgroundIt is necessary to differentiate high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infection and cervical lesions during pregnancy using an effective measure, so as to guide personalized diagnosis and treatment and to reduce unnecessary invasive examinations during pregnancy.ObjectiveTo assess the value of HR-HPV E6/E7 mRNA detection in differentiating HR-HPV infection and cervical lesions during pregnancy by comparing efficacy between it and HR-HPV DNA testing.MethodsParticipants were healthy women with singleton pregnancy (20-45-years old) selected from Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Capital Medical University Xuanwu Hospital during January 2016 to January 2019. All had file creation and underwent regular prenatal examination, and those with abnormal liquid-based cytology and HR-HPV DNA testing results further underwent colposcopy with biopsy taken for pathological examination (serving as a gold standard) , and performed HR-HPV E6/E7 mRNA detection in cervical exfoliated cells collected as samples. Pathologically detected CIN Ⅱand Ⅲ were defined as high-grade cervical lesions.ResultsOf the 1 058 participants, 118 had cytological abnormalities and/or HPV 16 and 18 infections, and 84 of them consented to perform colposcopy with biopsy pathological results successfully obtained. The prevalence of HR-HPV E6/E7 mRNA positivity was lower than that of HR-HPV DNA positivity in women with CINⅠ, normal cervical epithelium or cervicitis detected by pathological examination (P0.05) . In predicting CINⅡ and Ⅲ, the HR-HPV DNA testing had a sensitivity of 89.7% (26/29) , a specificity of 21.8% (12/55) , a positive predictive value of 37.1% (26/69) , and a negative predictive value of 75.0% (12/29) , and the HR-HPV E6/E7 mRNA detection had a sensitivity of 65.5% (19/29) , a specificity of 54.5% (25/55) , a positive predictive value of 43.0% (19/44) , and a negative predictive value 75.0% (25/40) . McNemar's test revealed that HR-HPV E6/E7 mRNA detection had a lower sensitivity but a higher specificity than HR-HPV DNA testing in diagnosing CINⅡ and Ⅲ (P

In this paper, biological synthesis of silver and gold crystals using grapefruit extract is reported. On treatment of aqueous solutions of silver nitrate and chloroauric acid with grapefruit extract, the formation of stable silver and gold particles at high concentrations is observed to occur. The silver particles formed are quasi-spherical or irregular with sizes ranging from several hundred nanometers to several microns. The gold quasi-spheres with holes on surfaces and with diameters ranging from 1 to 3 microns are obtained. The formation mechanism of silver and gold crystals is discussed, indicating that the soluble biomolecules such as protein(s) and vitamin C in grapefruit extract may play a crucial role in defining the morphology and/or crystal phase of silver and gold crystals.

Purpose: With the rapid advancement of technology, online health care services are becoming increasingly prominent. This study aims to investigate medical students' perceptions, attitudes, and readiness to adopt online health care services. Methods: Based on a literature review, this study constructed a conceptual model describing the relationships among medical students' perception, personality traits, and usage intention, grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model and Technology Readiness Index (TRI). The data for this study were collected from January to February 2023 through a questionnaire survey at Wenzhou Medical University, China. The proposed hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling through AMOS software. Results: Out of the 340 respondents, 281 (82.6%) validly responded. Among these, 58.4% of medical students agreed and strongly agreed with the intention to become an online doctor. Within the TRI's motivational factors, optimism positively and significantly affected perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU). Innovativeness also significantly enhanced PEOU. Among the inhibitory factors, insecurity was found to have a negative and statistically significant influence on PU. The rest of the dimensions did not have a significant effect on either PU or PEOU. Importantly, both PU and PEOU demonstrated a direct and substantial effect on usage intention. Conclusions: This study emphasizes the significance of comprehending medical students' readiness to adopt the role of online doctors in shaping the future of health care. By equipping medical students with the necessary skills and competencies, health care institutions can effectively leverage the full potential of online health care services while ensuring the provision of high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered care in the digital era.
