[Objective] The development of new LNG terminals in China is currently oriented in the direction of large-scale construction while the existing LNG terminals are already undergoing expansion. Consequently, these terminals are generating an increasing volume of boil-off gas(BOG), with a substantial portion as stable sources, providing a promising opportunity for the application of centrifugal BOG compressors at these LNG terminals. [Methods] In this paper, an expanded LNG terminal in China was taken as the study subject.Its total generation and stable generation of BOG were calculated. A systematic study was performed to explore the feasibility of the widespread application of centrifugal BOG compressors at LNG terminals in China, from various perspectives, including the configuration principles of centrifugal compressors and reciprocating compressors, crucial factors in their parallel operation, and the advantages of centrifugal compressors. [Results] (1) Centrifugal compressors are suitable for application at new or expanded terminals furnished with either five LNG tanks of 16×104 m3 or four LNG tanks of 22×104 m3.(2) Implementing a configuration that combines a centrifugal compressor to handle the base load of BOG generation and a reciprocating compressor to handle the peak load of BOG generation ensures steady operation at the terminals.(3) When centrifugal and reciprocating compressors are in parallel operation, it is crucial to incorporate a buffer tank at the outlet of the reciprocating compressor, in order to mitigate the impact of pressure pulsations at its outlet on the centrifugal compressor.(4) In the same parallel operation mode, it is recommended to reduce the fluctuation range of discharge pressure at the reciprocating compressor's outlet, to reduce the influence of pressure pulsation on the downstream BOG recondenser. [Conclusion] These research findings serve as theoretical guidance and technical support for the application promotion of centrifugal compressors at LNG stations in China, their parallel operation with reciprocating compressors, and relevant engineering design.

The 3 D FE models of reactor pressure vessel（ RPV） with an axial crackwere built. The aspect ratio of the crack is a/c = 1/2（ a = 30 mm,c = 60 mm）. The elastic-plastic fracture mechanics analysis of reactor pressure vessels with different cladding thickness（ h = 0 mm,4 mm and 8 mm） subjected to pressurized thermal shock（ PTS） transients was studied. The influence of cladding thickness on integrity has been discussed by using J-A2 method and J-Qmethod. The result shows that the Jintegral on the front of crack decreases with the increasing thickness of cladding. The Q and A2 valueincreases near the interface between cladding and base material. But the maximum of Q and A2 ofcladding on the front of the crack is near the deepest point of the crack and decreases with the increasing cladding thickness.

To explore how cytohesin-1 (CYTH-1) small interfering RNA (siRNA) influences the insulin-like growth factor receptor (IGFR)-associated signal transduction in prostate cancer, we transfected human prostate cancer PC-3 cell lines with liposome-encapsulatedCYTH-1 siRNA in serum-free medium and exposed the cells to 100 nM IGF-1. The mRNA and protein levels of the signal molecules involved in the IGFR signaling pathways were determined by real-time PCR and detected by Western blotting. The relative mRNA levels of CYTH-1, c-Myc, cyclinD1 and IGF-1R (CYTH-1 siRNA group vs scrambled siRNA group) were 0.26 vs 0.97, 0.34 vs 1.06, 0.10 vs 0.95, and 0.27 vs 0.41 (P < 0.05 for all), respectively. The relative protein levels of CYTH-1, pIGF-1R, pIRS1, pAkt1, pErk1, c-Myc, and cyclinD1 (CYTH-1 siRNA group vsscrambled siRNA group) were 0.10 vs 1.00 (30 min), 0.10 vs 0.98 (30 min), 0.04 vs 0.50 (30 min), 0.10 vs 1.00 (30 min), 0.10 vs 1.00 (30 min), 0.13 vs 0.85 (5 h), and 0.08 vs 0.80 (7 h), respectively. The tyrosine kinase activity of IGF-1R was associated with CYTH-1. The proliferative activity of PC-3 cells transfected with CYTH-1 siRNA was significantly lower than that of cells transfected with scrambled siRNA at 48 h (40.5 vs87.6%, P < 0.05) and at 72 h (34.5 vs 93.5%, P < 0.05). In conclusion, the interference of siRNA with cytohesin-1 leads to reduced IGFR signaling in prostate cancer; therefore, CYTH-1 might serve as a new molecular target for the treatment of prostate cancer.

Epigenetics is a biological process that modifies and regulates gene expression, affects neuronal function, and contributes to pain. However, the mechanism by which epigenetics facilitates and maintains chronic pain is poorly understood. We aimed to determine whether [N.sup.6]-methyladenosine (m6A) specifically modified by methyltransferase-like 14 (METTL14) alters neuronal activity and governs pain by sensitizing the GluN2A subunit of the N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) in the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons in a model of chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain (CINP). Using dot blotting, immunofluorescence, gain/loss-of-function, and behavioral assays, we found that m6A levels were upregulated in L4-L6 DRG neurons in CINP in a DBP/METTL14-dependent manner, which was also confirmed in human DRGs. Blocking METTL14 reduced m6A methylation and attenuated pain hypersensitivity. Mechanistically, METTL14-mediated m6A modification facilitated the synaptic plasticity of DRG neurons by enhancing the GluN2A subunit of NMDAR, and inhibiting METTL14 blocked this effect. In contrast, overexpression of METTL14 upregulated m6A modifications, enhanced presynaptic NMDAR activity in DRG neurons, and facilitated pain sensation. Our findings reveal a previously unrecognized mechanism of METTL14-mediated m6A modification in DRG neurons to maintain neuropathic pain.
