To study the effect of large area uniform garnet film on the consistency of image quality of a magneto-optical imaging system, the effect of lattice mismatch on a large area uniform domain structure of magneto-optical materials was studied. In this paper, (BiTm)3(GaFe)5O12 thin garnet films with different stress were prepared on the surface of gadolinium gallium garnet by liquid phase epitaxy. The results show that the magnetic hysteresis mechanism exists in the (BiTm)3(GaFe)5O12 thin films with tensile stress, and the domains can preferentially respond to magnetic signals in very small regions. This is mainly the phenomenon of magnetic domain partitioning caused by cracks. In addition, the non-uniform distribution of coercive force in a large range is the main cause of hysteresis. The thin films with weak compressive stress (BiTm)3(GaFe)5O12 are uniformly distributed over a large area. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Magneto‐optical activity is a significant way to achieve asymmetric transmission for spin photons. However, it is severely limited by the weak light‐matter interaction in the terahertz (THz) region. In this work, a magnetic Moiré grating (MMG) is constructed by sandwiching an Yttrium iron garnet (YIG) single crystal in a pair of twisted 2D subwavelength gratings. The twisted angle between two gratings introduces a strong geometric Moiré chirality related to the Moiré pattern. When an external magnetic field is applied to the YIG layer, three different symmetries of spacial mirror image, time reversal, and spin conjugation are broken simultaneously under the chiral coupling between magneto‐optical activity and Moiré chirality, leading to both the enhanced magneto‐optical chiral transmission and the nonreciprocal spin isolation. Under the magnetic field varying from −0.26 to +0.26 T in the experiment, the MMG achieves an active modulation of circular dichroism from 39 to −37.5 dB and optical activity from −35° to 30°. Moreover, the maximum spin isolation over 32.6 dB is also obtained near 0.5 THz. This study aimed to investigate the effects of fermented puffed feather meal (FPFM) on growth performance, serum biochemical indices, meat quality, and intestinal microbiota in Arbor Acres (AA) broilers. A single-factor design was adopted, and four treatments were administered with five replicates to 240 one-day-old AA broilers. The control group (group A) received a basal diet, while the experimental groups received a basal diet plus 33% (group B), 67% (group C) and 100% (group D) FPFM, respectively. Compared with group A, (1) the average daily gain (ADG) in group C decreased (P<0.05), and the feed conversion ratio (FCR) in group D increased (P<0.05); (2) the level of serum urea nitrogen in treatment groups decreased (P<0.05), and the levels of triglyceride, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein, cholesterol, and glucose contents in group D increased (P<0.05) at day 21; (3) the serum immunoglobulin M and immunoglobulin G in group B and the immunoglobulin A in group C increased (P<0.05) at day 21, and the serum immunoglobulin M and immunoglobulin G in group D decreased (P<0.05) at day 42; (4) the share force of breast muscle and thigh muscle in group D increased (P<0.05); (5) the villus height to crypt depth ratio in the jejunum of group B increased (P<0.05) at day 21, and the villus height in group C and D increased (P<0.05) at day 42; (6) the proteobacteria counts in the cecum digesta in treatment groups decreased (P<0.05) at day 21. The basal diet supplemented with 33% FPFM promoted protein metabolism, enhanced immunity and improved meat quality, promoted the digestion and absorption of nutrients, increased intestinal microbial diversity, and improved the content of beneficial bacteria without affecting the growth performance, it was possible to be used as a good substitute for fish meal. Objectives: Lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors that threaten human health seriously. Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) is an important factor affecting tumorigenesis and development. However, the mechanism of lncRNA in lung cancer progression remains to be further explored. Methods: In this study, the TCGA database was analyzed, and LINC01572 was found to be increased in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tissues. Thereafter, with the help of databases including lncBase, TargetScan, and mirDIP, as well as Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis, LINC01572/miRNA-338-5p/TTK regulatory axis and downstream p53 signaling pathway were excavated. qRT-PCR was adopted to detect levels of LINC01572, miRNA-338-5p, and TTK in LUAD cells. The role that LINC01572 played in LUAD cells was validated by CCK-8 assay, flow cytometry, colony formation, Transwell, and scratch healing assays. The binding ability between LINC01572/TTK and miRNA-338-5p was then verified by dual-luciferase and RIP analysis. Key findings: The results of this study demonstrated that LINC01572 was elevated in LUAD cells compared with normal cells. The overexpression of LINC01572 promoted the proliferative and migratory properties of LUAD cells but inhibited cell apoptosis. The inhibition of LINC01572 resulted in the opposite result. In addition, rescue experiments revealed that LINC01572, as a molecular sponge of miRNA-338-5p, targeted TTK to manipulate p53 for facilitating LUAD cell malignant progression. Apart from this, we constructed a mouse xenograft model and confirmed that the knockdown of LINC01572 hindered the growth of LUAD solid tumors in vivo. Conclusions: Our findings illuminated the molecular mechanism of LINC01572 influencing LUAD and provided new insights for targeted therapy of LUAD cells. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
