As the main transmission parts, the quality of automobile engine connecting rod directly affects the engine performance, and ultimately affects the safety of the vehicle. Image preprocessing is the key basic technology that affects the precision of multi-parameters detection based on machine vision for the quality of automobile engine connecting rod. The image preprocessing based on multi threshold analysis and homomorphic filter is proposed to remove the shadow and enhance the contrast of the engine connecting rod image. The multi-parameters inspection vision system of automobile engine connecting rod quality is constructed to realize the simultaneous detection of geometric parameters, bending and twisting for connecting rod. The problem of shadow elimination method in single color space is analyzed for engine connecting rod image. The shadow elimination method of color image is studied based on multi threshold analysis. A Gaussian homomorphic filter is designed to enhance image contrast. An application example of image preprocessing for the connecting rod of a vehicle engine shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Under the rapid economic growth in China, environmental pollution has increased rapidly. Energy-saving and emission-reduction policies have been proposed in the government's Five-Year Plans (FYPs) to achieve sustainable development. Yunnan (YN) province, which is in its economic infancy, is facing industrial structure adjustment and is a typical case of severe environmental degradation. In this study, a decoupling analysis was conducted to explore the performances of economic growth and environmental pressure during the period from 2006 to 2016. The author of this paper made an innovative use of the pollutant discharge fee (PDF) as the measure of environmental pressure and Gross domestic product (GDP) as the measure of economic growth. The trend analysis and decoupling analysis revealed that although YN has already transformed from a weak decoupling to a strong decoupling state in the long term, stable and strong decoupling cannot be guaranteed. Moreover, there was consistency between the decoupling conditions and the FYP cycle, all of which indicated that there was a shift from the target emissions to non-target emissions during the 11th (2006–2010) and 12th (2011–2015) FYPs. Thus, a single index for evaluating pollutant emissions cannot be adopted effectively to achieve adequate pollutant emission reduction. In addition, three industrial structures were considered in the decoupling analysis, which indicated that the tertiary industry will be a new key area for emission reduction, and the emissions of secondary industries have also been reduced.

Both the homotopy analysis method and Galerkin spectral method are applied to find the analytical solutions of the two-dimensional and time-independent Gross-Pitaevskii equation, a nonlinear Schrodinger equation used in describing the system of Bose-Einstein condensates trapped in a harmonic potential. The approximate analytical solutions are obtained successfully. Comparisons between the analytical solutions and the numerical solutions have been made. The results indicate that they are agreement very well with each other when the atomic interaction is not too strong.

With the end of United Nations Convention on Climate Change Meeting which was hold in Bonn and Copenhagen,the world has entered into a low carbon economy which bring the concept of low carbon supply chain management.In order to comply with the changes of the domestic and international situation,enterprises are supposed to adopt low carbon supply chain management to raise the competitiveness. However,it is a systems engineering to carry out the low carbon supply chain management in which the good cooperation of each enterprises in the supply chain is required.The paper proposes some strategies on how to advance cooperation satisfaction among enterprises based on low carbon supply chain management in order to enhance the competence of the whole supply chain.

We discuss the possible nonlinear waves of atomic matter wave in a Bose–Einstein condensate. One and two of two-dimensional (2D) dark solitons in the Bose–Einstein condensed system are investigated. A rich dynamics is studied for the interactions between two solitons. The interaction profiles of two solitons are greatly different if the angle between them are different. If the angle is small enough, the maximum amplitude during the interaction between two solitons is even less than that of a single soliton. However, if the angle is large enough, the maximum amplitude of two solitons can gradually attend to the sum of two soliton amplitudes.

In this paper, the Fisher equation is analysed. One of its travelling wave solution is obtained by comparing it with KdV–Burgers (KdVB) equation. Its amplitude, width and speed are investigated. The instability for the higher order disturbances to the solution of the Fisher equation is also studied.
