Abstract

The optimization study of the radiotherapeutic plan by Monte Carlo method is discussed in this paper. The investigation results show that for a specific patient there must be an optimized radio-therapeutic plan, which includes the size, the direction and the energy of the incident -rays beam and the distance of the patient's skin from the irradiated source. It is pointed out in this paper that the isotope workers are challenged by the concept of radio-therapeutic science.
