In this paper, the finite‐time simultaneous stabilization problem of two nonlinear singular time‐delay Hamiltonian systems is investigated. Firstly, the two general nonlinear singular time‐delay Hamiltonian systems are transformed into their Hamiltonian differential‐algebraic forms by equivalent transformation, respectively, they are then converted to two strictly dissipative Hamiltonian forms via the state feedback method, and two strictly dissipative Hamiltonian systems are extended into a Hamiltonian one. Based on which, a suitable Hamiltonian function is constructed to analyze the finite‐time simultaneous stability and finite‐time robust simultaneous stabilization problem. Finally, an illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the results obtained. It should be pointed out that since there does not exist a finite‐time stability criterion on the nonlinear singular delay system, we adopt a new double compound asymptotic method. Using the Hamiltonian function method with different powers, this paper studies the observer-based finite-time robust control problem of general nonlinear uncertain systems with time delay and presents some new results on this issue. First, by applying Hamiltonian realization method, the paper develops an equivalent Hamiltonian form of original system and designs its observer system. Then, based on the observer system, we study finite-time control problem and present several finite-time stabilization and finite-time robust stabilization results by using the augmented technology and the Lyapunov method. Finally, a real unmanned vehicle is used to verify the performance of the observer-based finite-time robust stabilization controller. Different from the existing literature on Hamiltonian method, the Hamiltonian function in the paper has different powers, which implies that the results developed in the paper have a wider range of application. The three-phase voltage type Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) rectifier is widely used in the front-end power factor of electric vehicle wireless charging systems due to its simple control structure and easy implementation. The system often adopts a double closed-loop PI control method based on voltage and current, which inevitably leads to a significant starting current surge and poses significant risks to the safe operation of the equipment. On the basis of establishing a mathematical model for PWM rectifiers, this article analyzes in detail the causes of starting over-current and designs a starting strategy with a voltage outer proportional and integral separated active current directly given. Simulation experiments show that this method can reduce the starting over-current of PWM rectifiers and the excessive DC voltage surge towards normal operation during the starting process. This article studies the finite-time stabilization and finite-time H ∞ control problems for a class of Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy singular systems and proposes a finite-time H ∞ fuzzy controller to enable the system to cope with external disturbances, and the closed-loop system state converges to the equilibrium point. Before designing the controller, impulse controllability of the Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy singular system is discussed. Then, a finite-time H ∞ fuzzy controller is designed, and the finite-time stabilization conditions of the Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy singular system are expressed by linear matrix inequality. Finally, the simulation outcomes of a nonlinear singular system demonstrate that the designed controller has a good suppression effect on external disturbances, and the closed-loop system state converges to the equilibrium point in finite-time T and remains at the equilibrium point after T. The manuscript proposes a data-based integral terminal sliding mode control approach to determine fault-tolerant control (FTC) concerning a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems (DTNS) containing sensor fault. The proposed scheme can be readily implemented because it purely utilizes the input and output data of the system to employ a model called the compact form dynamic linearization (CFDL) data model, while the one-step forward approximator is employed to estimate the fault function term in the system. Moreover, the fault diagnosis mechanism utilizes a time-varying threshold with prescribed performance to judge whether the fault occurs. Hence, the problem of a standard fixed threshold used at the start-up state of the control system is resolved. Then, the discrete-time integral terminal sliding mode fault-tolerant control (DITSM-FTC) method is proposed. Concurrently, the sturdiness of the proposed method is assured by hypothetical investigation. When compared with the literature, the fundamental features of the proposed method are presented as follows: (1) the problem pertinent to fault utilizing a data-driven model is resolved; (2) a fault diagnosis mechanism with prescribed performance is proposed, and (3) one step forward approximator is utilized to devise an estimation approach of fault detection. This article studies robust stabilization and adaptive H ∞ control problems for a class of continuous-time nonlinear singular systems by static output feedback. First, under sufficient conditions which the system is impulse controllable, the static output feedback controller is designed, and the stabilization problem of the system is discussed. Second, the H ∞ and adaptive H ∞ controllers are designed for the continuous-time nonlinear singular systems with external disturbances. Compared with the existing conclusions, the controller can be designed for more nonlinear singular systems. This paper investigates the prescribed‐time robust control problem of a class of nonlinear time‐delay systems, and proposes some new prescribed‐time robust stabilization results. First, by applying the full decomposition method based on the delay term, the paper obtains an equivalent model of original system and promotes existing prescribed‐time stability criterion of delay‐free system to delay one. Based on these, when the bound of the disturbance is known, we design the corresponding prescribed‐time stabilization and robust stabilization controller. On the basis, we further give several robust stabilization results for the unknown disturbance by designing a new prescribed‐time controller. Finally, the study of two illustrative examples shows that the results obtained of the paper work well in the prescribed‐time robust stabilization the nonlinear delay systems. It is well worth pointing out that, different from existing infinite‐time and finite‐time asymptotical results of nonlinear delay system, the closed‐loop system under the prescribed‐time controller can reach the desired position within the specified time, and has stronger anti‐interference ability. This article discusses the input-output finite-time stability and stabilization problems of a class of nonlinear descriptor systems. Two classes of disturbance inputs which belong to L 2 and L ∞ are considered. Under the impulse-free condition of the descriptor systems, the article first studies the input-output finite-time stability with respect to the nonlinear descriptor systems with L 2 and L ∞ disturbance inputs. Based on this, the design of the state feedback controllers ensures that the closed-loop descriptor systems are input-output finite-time stabilization. Via Hamiltonian function method, the article studies the observer-based finite-time robust stabilization problem of a class of two joint uncertain manipulator system under external disturbance. First, we present an equivalent Hamiltonian model for the two-degree-of-freedom manipulator system and design its finite-time observer and develop a finite-time robust stabilization control result by using Lyapunov stability theory and dimension expansion technique for the manipulator system with external disturbance. On this basis, we further study the robust control problem of the mechanical system containing uncertainty and external disturbance simultaneously and develop several corresponding robust control results for the system. Finally, the control effect is proved by an example simulation. Compared with the existing observer-based infinite time stability control results, an observer and a finite time controller are designed in this article. In this paper, the robust simultaneous stabilization problem of multiple n‐degree‐of‐freedom (n‐DOF) robot systems is studied by using Hamiltonian function method, and the corresponding L2 interference suppression controller is designed. First, we investigate the general simultaneous stabilization of the multiple n‐DOF robot systems without external disturbance. On this basis, we further study the robust simultaneous stabilization control problem for multiple n‐DOF robot systems with external disturbance and design a simultaneous stabilization controller. Finally, the simulation results show that the simultaneous stabilization controller designed for the paper is very effective in stabilizing multiple robot systems at the same time.
