The paper aims to reveal the challenges and opportunities faced by mariculture in coastal areas in China under the background of global warming, and to provide a scientific basis for policy making and sustainable development in this field. This paper selects the panel data of 11 coastal provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) for 35 years (1985-2019) and uses description statistics and panel effect models to deeply explore the trend of regional temperature change and its impact on mariculture yield. The results show that: (1) Although there are inter-annual fluctuations and regional differencesin temperature changes among provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) there is an upward trend on the whole, confirming the macro background of global warming. (2) The overall output of mariculture in China is generally on the rise, especially in Liaoning, Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong and other provinces, which have become the core regions of mariculture in China. (3) Through in-depth analysis of the correlation between the temperature and the mariculture yield, it is found that there is a significant negative relationship between the two, that is, every 1% increase in temperature will lead to a decrease of about 2.65% in the mariculture yield. Further research also reveals that in different marine industrial economic circles, the impact of climate warming on mariculture output is significantly different, which has a certain promoting effect in the Yangtze River Delta economic circle, while it has an obvious inhibitory effect in the Bohai Rim economic circle and the Pearl River Delta economic circle. Based on the above research results, this paper puts forward a series of targeted policy suggestions, including strengthening the construction of climate change research and early warning system, optimize the spatial layout of mariculture industry, strengthen disease prevention and control and health management measures, establish and improve the risk management mechanism, in order to cope with the impact of climate warming, promote the sustained, stable and development of mariculture in China provide important reference.

China is the world's largest fishery country and also the world's largest aquaculture country. Fisheries is a very important industry in the national economy and has a significant impact on maintaining and improving the quality of people's lives. Therefore, the government has formulated relevant policies in this field to promote the development of the fishery industry. The paper selects 250 fishery normative document texts, covering policies and regulations promulgated and implemented by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council and its relevant departments, and national conferences since 1949, and analyzes the impact of policy texts on the development of the fishery industry. Through policy text analysis methods and word cloud analysis methods, a quantitative analysis of China's fishery policy texts is conducted to deeply explore the evolution characteristics and development laws of China's fishery policies. The development characteristics of fishery policies overall show an upward trend. The focus has long been on the level of aquaculture. The issuers show diversified characteristics. The formulation of policy texts is mainly based on single department decisions, and multi-department joint decisions are relatively rare. The type of policy tools used is mainly information control type, and the use of command and control type, economic incentive type and voluntary participation type tools is insufficient. The improvement of the effectiveness of policy texts changes in the same direction as the increase in the number of fishery policies.

Nickel resources are vital for national economic development. As the largest consumer of nickel metal worldwide, China faces a scarcity of nickel metal raw materials which depend highly on imports. Therefore, it is necessary to achieve breakthroughs in nickel resource exploration, promote the comprehensive development and utilization of nickel resources, and broaden import channels, to ensure a secure and stable supply of nickel resources. Based on the analysis of the latest data of the nickel industry, this study reviews the nickel resource endowments and the status of nickel supply and demand in China and abroad, and summarizes the genetic types, spatiotemporal distribution, and prospecting potentials of nickel ore deposits. It also analyzes the issues facing the development and supply security of China’s nickel resource industry, and proposes key technologies for nickel exploration as well as development paths for the comprehensive utilization of nickel resources. To ensure the stable supply and safe development of nickel resources in China, countermeasures are proposed from both international and domestic aspects. Internationally, it is necessary to stabilize the important nickel resource import markets represented by Indonesia and the Philippines, increase investment in mining projects overseas to enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises, and strengthen international cooperation to diversify the channels for nickel resource imports. Domestically, the following suggestions are proposed: (1) increasing nickel resource exploration, (2) promoting the comprehensive utilization of nickel resources to increase the utilization rate of recycled nickel resources, (3) optimizing traditional technical processes and adjusting the industrial structure, (4) strengthening nickel reserve bases to ensure effective increase in reserves; and (5) encouraging research on mining technologies of potential nickel ores such as ferromanganese nodules on the ocean floor.
