Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor with a high degree of malignancy. Multiple liver metastases from gastric cancer (LMGCs) are common. However, the treatment of LMGCs is very difficult. It is rare to achieve complete remission (CR) and long-term survival after treatment. We present the case of a patient with gastric adenocarcinoma and multiple liver metastases who showed CR for more than 33 months after perioperative EOX (epirubicin, oxaliplatin, and capecitabine) combination chemotherapy with radical distal gastrectomy and resection of liver metastases. The patient is still in follow-up without tumor recurrence. These findings suggest that LMGC does not necessarily mean a poor prognosis; preoperative chemotherapy combined with surgery may be a good treatment option for LMGC in selected patients. Further studies are needed to support this treatment approach.

Based on the heterogeneous firm trade theory, we choose the data of Chinese listed enterprises in manufacturing industry from 2010 to 2014 to examine the relationship between export and the productivity of enterprises. In order to eliminate simultaneity and selectivity biases, we calculate the total factor productivity through Levinsohn-Petrin estimation. For the sake of robustness, we choose both labor productivity and total factor productivity as the representative of productivity respectively to examine the existence of self-selection effect and learning by exporting effect. The empirical results show that enterprises do not have self-selection effect but have learning by exporting effect. So they are with the regression results year by year. Thus, Chinese enterprises can improve their international competitiveness by export.

Energy saving and environment protection is the major issues in China which speeds up the electric vehicle industrialization sector. The proposed study is a survey based evaluation study. Taking Beijing as a centre, the paper proposes the evaluation of EVs from the following several aspects: performance of the electric vehicles from different aspects; evaluation from different issues relating to its uncertainties; the evaluation with respect to its market trends; evaluation from its acceptance by its users; Furthermore the results from the evaluation study will be helpful to discuss the key points on the innovation strategy of electric vehicles relating to the development areas, policies, drawbacks and further improvements for solving this major issue in China.

Many research works have been done on the formal modeling and correctness analysis of interorganizational processes. But the coupling measurement of interorganizational processes is neglected. The coupling situation represents the adaptability and flexibility of interorganizational processes to the changing market environment. And it is one of the most important factors in the agility analysis of interorganizational processes. This paper discusses the coupling measurement technique of interorganizational business processes based on Petri nets. The formal definition of collaborative mesh is proposed. And the coupling intensity is presented to evaluate the coupling degree between process tasks and the process structure. It is calculated based on the relation between the related elements of the task and the whole process structure. Furthermore, the importance level of each business partner in the interorganizational process is analyzed.

Consistency property describes the relation between the communication pattern and process logic of interorganizational processes. The Petri net and message sequence chart are applied as the modeling tool for the communication pattern and process logic of interorganizational processes respectively. But these two different modeling tools bring confusions and make it is hard to analyze the consistency property of interorganizational processes. The modeling method of interorganizational processes based on activity diagrams is proposed in this work. The formal semantics of activity diagrams and the standardized mapping technique from activity diagrams to message sequence charts are introduced. Based on activity diagrams, the N-consistency property of interorganizational processes is defined and verified

Three-dimensional SiO2 photonic crystals (PhCs) are fabricated on quartz substrates by the vertical deposition method. Scanning electron microscopy measurement reveals that the samples exhibit an ordered close-packed arrangement of SiO2 spheres. It is found that the position of the [111] photonic band gap (PBG) shifts to a long wavelength (red shift) with increasing sphere size. Gap broadening effects are observed due to the presence of defects in the samples. Moreover, the optical properties of the PBG are very sensitive to the annealing temperature. Our results indicate that the optical properties of the PBG can be easily tuned in the visible region by appropriate experimental parameters, which will be useful for practical applications of PhC optical devices.

The as-deposited Au/Ti/p-diamond contacts prepared by rf sputtering are ohmic. The ohmic characteristics of the contacts are improved after annealing. As for the as-deposited and annealed contacts, the specific contact resistivities of 2.886 ? 10-3 and 2.040 ? 10-4 ??cm2 are obtained, respectively. The x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis indicates that the titanium carbide formation occurs at the interface between titanium and the diamond substrate in the as-deposited state, and no TiO2 is observed.

The measurements of the specific contact resistance (ρc) were carrie d out for Ti/Au ohmic contact to heavily boron-doped p-diamond (～1020cm-3) by the transmission line model (TLM).I-V measurements were per formed before and after annealing at 500℃,as well as in big current cases.The a nnealing effects on the ρc value were investigated.It is shown that heavy doping of the semiconductor and annealing are effective means to improve o hmic contacts.The changes of ρc value with the operating temperature are discussed.We suggest that the dominant transport mechanism at the metal/sem iconductor interface is tunneling.No light effects on the ρc value h ave been observed,the results show that diamond can be an ideal window material. In our experiments,the smallest ρc value of the Au/Ti/p-diamond reac hes ～10-4Ωcm2.
