Portable X‐ray imaging technology plays a crucial role in enabling prompt diagnosis and treatment outdoors. Nevertheless, the persistent challenge of external optical signal crosstalk poses a significant bottleneck to its advancement. Herein, a solution utilizing near‐infrared (NIR) light to effectively mitigate optical crosstalk is proposed, thereby demonstrating the feasibility of portable X‐ray imaging even under ambient light. A series of rare earth ions doped Cs2AgxNa1‐xInyBi1‐yCl6 halide scintillators is reported, which possess bright broadband visible and NIR emissions. Taking Cs2Ag0.6Na0.4In0.95Bi0.05Cl6: 5%Tm as an example, it shows decent thermal quenching resistance, high PLQY up to 76.3%, and compelling light yield up to 33500 photons MeV−1. The highly efficient NIR emission is attributed to the energy transfer from the optimized host to lanthanide ions. A flexible scintillation film is prepared by mixing poly(dimethyl‐siloxane) with Cs2Ag0.6Na0.4In0.95Bi0.05Cl6: 5%Tm powder, realizing a low X‐ray detection limit of 55.2 nGyair/s and a high spatial resolution of 11.2 lp mm−1. Due to the efficient NIR emission, the scintillation film enables clear X‐ray imaging under bright LED illumination with the simple addition of filters, avoiding the necessity of a complex imaging apparatus. The significant demand of sustainable power sources has been triggered by the development of wearable electronics (e.g., electronic skin, human health monitors, and intelligent robotics). However, tensile strain limitation and low conformability of existing power sources cannot match their development. Herein, a stretchable and shape‐adaptable liquid‐based single‐electrode triboelectric nanogenerator (LS‐TENG) based on potassium iodide and glycerol (KI‐Gly) liquid electrolyte as work electrode is developed for harvesting human motion energy to power wearable electronics. The LS‐TENG demonstrates high output performances (open‐circuit voltage of 300 V, short‐circuit current density of 17.5 mA m–2, and maximum output power of 2.0 W m–2) and maintains the stable output performances without deterioration under 250% tension stretching and after 10 000 cycles of repeated contact‐separation motion. Moreover, the LS‐TENG can harvest biomechanical energy, including arm shaking, human walking, and hand tapping, to power commercial electronics without extra power sources. The LS‐TENG attached on different joints of body enables to work as self‐powered human motion monitor. Furthermore, a flexible touch panel based on the LS‐TENG combined with a microcontroller is explored for human–machine interactions. Consequently, the stretchable and shape‐adaptable LS‐TENG based on KI‐Gly electrolyte would act as an exciting platform for biomechanical energy harvesting and wearable human–machine interaction. This review discusses the utilization of metal halide perovskite (MHP) materials in X‐ray direct imaging detectors for medical application. Compared to traditional semiconductors, MHP has multiple advantages including high linear attenuation coefficient, low exciton binding energy, long carrier diffusion length, and high carrier mobility. These ascendancies allow for low‐dose and high‐resolution medical imaging. Apartment from a historical overview of the develop‐X‐ray direct imaging detectors and their performance indicators, this review specifically focuses on the development and innovation of X‐ray direct imaging detectors using MHP materials. The article concludes by identifying existing challenges and discussing the potential application of perovskite X‐ray direct imaging detectors in the medical industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Dense (ZrO2)0.85(REO1.5)0.15 (RE=Sc, Y) specimens have been obtained from the nanoparticulate powders prepared by three Pechini-type gel routes, viz. poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) containing-process (route I), poly(ethylene glycol) and formic acid-containing process (route II), and in situ polymerizable complex method (route III). During sintering over 1000–1400°C, (ZrO2)0.85(ScO1.5)0.15 samples prepared by routes II and III, and (ZrO2)0.85(YO1.5)0.15 samples prepared by the three routes retain pure cubic fluorite structure, however, a monoclinic phase segregation takes place for the Sc-doped zirconia prepared by route I. Various gel routes are shown to display significant impact on sinterability of the green body, crystallinity and particle size uniformity of the sintered body, and the ionic conductivity of the dense specimens. The specimens prepared from route III exhibit superior sinterability and ionic conductance to those prepared from routes I and II. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

(ZrO2)0.85(REO1.5)0.15 (RE=Sc, Y) nanoparticles with pure cubic fluorite structure have been synthesized by three Pechini-type gel routes, viz. poly(vinyl alcohol) containing-process (route I), poly(ethylene glycol) and formic acid-containing process (route II), and in situ polymerizable complex method (route III). The coordination modes between metal ions and polymers in the gels are shown to be highly correlative with the synthesis route used. The gels prepared by route III have the strongest coordination throughout their network and therefore the best chemical homogeneity. The altered variety of polymer and cross-linking within the gels adopted by these three routes has made the as-synthesized samples show appreciable differences in thermal behavior, powder reactivity and nanoparticle properties.
