Context: The rice-wheat (RW) system, spanning 13.5 million hectares in South Asia, is crucial for food security and livelihoods. However, intensive conventional tillage-based practices have harmed soil and environmental health, decreased productivity trends and increased greenhouse gas emissions. Objective: This study aims to develop resilient, climate-smart cropping systems within the RW system, focusing on soil and crop productivity, economic viability, and reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Methods: Over eight years, the study evaluated diverse parameters compared to farmer practices (FP) in seven scenarios (Sc), including one representing FP (Sc1) and six based on conservation agriculture (CA) principles. The study assessed system crop productivity, economic returns, soil quality (organic carbon; OC, nitrogen; N, phosphorus; P, potassium; K contents, bulk density; BD, soil aggregation, infiltration rates, microbial counts, and earthworm density), and GHG emissions. Results: CA-based scenarios (Sc2 to Sc7) showed improved soil quality, lower bulk density, enhanced soil aggregation, and increased infiltration rates compared to Sc1. In the 0–15 cm layer, surface soil organic carbon (OC) and C stock were 63.7 % and 49.6 % higher, respectively, in CA-based scenarios. Additionally, available N, P and K contents in the surface layer increased by 10.2 %, 28.6 %, and 21.8 % under CA-based scenarios. Adoption of CA in intensified maize-based scenarios (Sc4 and Sc5) led to the increased system and economic yields, higher soil quality index (SQI), reduced GHG emissions and increased C stock compared to Sc1. Implications: The study highlights that Conservation Agriculture (CA) practices and diversified crop rotations can address issues like falling crop productivity, reduced economic returns, soil degradation, and increasing environmental impacts in northwestern India's traditional rice-wheat system. However, widespread adoption requires government policies, including C credit payments and guaranteed markets with supportive pricing.

Various trace elements, including zinc, magnesium, iron, copper, chromium and selenium, are crucial for proper body development. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between trace elements and TNF-α and IL-6 to elicit and possible pathway responsible for short stature. Methods: Two hundred and twenty samples were recruited for this study, 100 short statures and 120 controls were randomly selected. Six trace elements were measured using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The concentrations of IL-6 and TNF-α in serum were assessed utilizing the Enzyme-Linked-Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). Superoxide dismutase was also analysed to determine the oxidative stress response. Results: The study revealed notable distinctions in serum trace element levels of short stature. They exhibited significant lower levels of zinc and magnesium, alongside higher levels of copper. The altered Cu/Zn ratio seemed to have a positive correlation with short stature. Conversely, no significant disparities were observed in iron, chromium, and selenium levels. Furthermore, a significant rise was noted in proinflammatory marker TNF-α and cytokine IL-6. Additionally, superoxide dismutase was low in the short statures In silico study shows a high affinity of Zinc with TNF alpha. It may be suggested that inflammation at any time during childhood, with the rise in TNF alpha tightly binds with zinc and may have led to a decrease in zinc serum levels, altered redox homeostasis and resulted in short stature. Conclusion: The altered Cu/Zn ratio along with high TNF alpha and IL6 may be used as a marker for short stature in the initial years of growth in children before they reach maturity at the age of 18. Thereafter, introducing zinc supplementation could potentially enhance stature by mitigating TNF-alpha level. Further experimental studies will help to establish the exact role of zinc with TNF alpha in short stature. Keywords: short stature, zinc, trace element, superoxide dismutase and inflammation

Orbital angular momentum (OAM) and torque transfer play central roles in a wide range of magnetic textures and devices including skyrmions and spin-torque electronics. Analogous topological structures are now also being explored in ferroelectrics, including polarization vortex arrays in ferroelectric/dielectric superlattices. Unlike magnetic toroidal order, electric toroidal order does not couple directly to linear external fields. Instead, we find that the presence of an electric toroidal moment in a ferrorotational phase transfers measurable torque and OAM to a localized electron beam in the ballistic limit. We record these torque transfers from a high-energy electron beam using a momentum-resolved detector. This approach provides a high-sensitivity method to detect polarization fields and their more complex order parameters and topologies. In addition to toroidal order, we also demonstrate high-precision measurements of vorticity and chirality for polar vortexlike phases.

Background: Cutaneous angiomyolipoma (CAML) is a rare benign tumour originating from the perivascular cells of the smooth muscle and fat. Owing to its rarity, clinical presentation, size, and location, we report a case of interest. Case report: A 59-years-old male patient from the Etawah district presented with a lump in the anterior abdominal wall of the umbilical region for the past 5 months. The patient was asymptomatic, but was concerned about the nature of the lump and agreed to undergo excision of the lump, which revealed angiomyolipoma of the anterior abdominal wall on histopathological examination. The patient experienced no complications from the excision and was discharged from the hospital. This particular subsite is rare and lacks association with tuberous sclerosis, a clinical entity commonly associated with renal angiomyolipoma Conclusion: The final diagnosis was confirmed by histopathology based on the traditional criteria of the presence of blood vessels, fat tissue, and smooth muscles. Surgery is the preferred course of treatment, and complete resection is important because incomplete resection may cause recurrence.

Self-managed abortion was associated with fewer self-reported abortion-related complications than clinician-managed abortions when adjusted for covariates not including gestational age (Adjusted Odds Ratio (aOR) 0.82, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.69, 0.97). However, once adjusted for gestational age, there was no longer a clinically meaningful or statistically significant difference in the odds of self-reported complications between self-managed and clinician-managed abortions (aOR = 0.98, 95% CI 0.81, 1.18).Conclusion: These findings suggest that people in India are using safe methods to self-manage abortions and support the hypothesis that self-managed abortion can improve access to abortion and reproductive choice without increasing risk. Keywords: reproductive autonomy, reproductive choice, self-use, medication abortion, misoprostol, mifepristone

- Abstract
Flexoelectricity refers to electric polarization generated by heterogeneous mechanical strains, namely strain gradients, in materials of arbitrary crystal symmetries. Despite more than 50 years of work on this effect, an accurate identification of its coupling strength remains an experimental challenge for most materials, which impedes its wide recognition. Here, we show the presence of flexoelectricity in the recently discovered polar vortices in PbTiO3/SrTiO3 superlattices based on a combination of machine-learning analysis of the atomic-scale electron microscopy imaging data and phenomenological phase-field modeling. By scrutinizing the influence of flexocoupling on the global vortex structure, we match theory and experiment using computer vision methodologies to determine the flexoelectric coefficients for PbTiO3 and SrTiO3. Our findings highlight the inherent, nontrivial role of flexoelectricity in the generation of emergent complex polarization morphologies and demonstrate a viable approach to delineating this effect, conducive to the deeper exploration of both topics.

Systems that exhibit phase competition, order parameter coexistence, and emergent order parameter topologies constitute a major part of modern condensed-matter physics. Here, by applying a range of characterization techniques, and simulations, we observe that in PbTiO3/SrTiO3 superlattices all of these effects can be found. By exploring superlattice period-, temperature- and field-dependent evolution of these structures, we observe several new features. First, it is possible to engineer phase coexistence mediated by a first-order phase transition between an emergent, low-temperature vortex phase with electric toroidal order and a high-temperature ferroelectric a1/a2 phase. At room temperature, the coexisting vortex and ferroelectric phases form a mesoscale, fibre-textured hierarchical superstructure. The vortex phase possesses an axial polarization, set by the net polarization of the surrounding ferroelectric domains, such that it possesses a multi-order-parameter state and belongs to a class of gyrotropic electrotoroidal compounds. Finally, application of electric fields to this mixed-phase system permits interconversion between the vortex and the ferroelectric phases concomitant with order-of-magnitude changes in piezoelectric and nonlinear optical responses. Our findings suggest new cross-coupled functionalities.

INTRODUCTION: The aim of this study is to assess the outcomes of ala carte posteromedial release in children over two years of age who were not responding to the Ponseti method of treatment of idiopathic clubfoot. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective observational study from September 2013 to August 2015 was conducted at a tertiary level medical teaching institution. The clubfeet were classified according to the Harold and Walker classification. Radiographic parameters assessed were the talocalcaneal angle (AP, lateral), talus-first metatarsal angle (AP, lateral) and calcaneal-fifth metatarsal angle. The scar and the functional score, according to Laaveg and Ponseti, were evaluated as outcome measures at the final follow-up. RESULTS: Twenty-four children with a mean age of 43.7 ± 24.7 months were enrolled in the study. There was a total of 36 clubfeet: 21 (65.6%) with a poor functional outcome; 12 (37.4%) with excellent to good scar in both horizontal and vertical components. There was a statistical significance between the pre-operative and post-operative radiological parameters (p

General Science & Technology - Abstract
The complex interplay of spin, charge, orbital and lattice degrees of freedom provides a plethora of exotic phases and physical phenomena. In recent years, complex spin topologies have emerged as a consequence of the electronic band structure and the interplay between spin and spin-orbit coupling in materials. Here we produce complex topologies of electrical polarization--namely, nanometre-scale vortex-antivortex (that is, clockwise-anticlockwise) arrays that are reminiscent of rotational spin topologies--by making use of the competition between charge, orbital and lattice degrees of freedom in superlattices of alternating lead titanate and strontium titanate layers. Atomic-scale mapping of the polar atomic displacements by scanning transmission electron microscopy reveals the presence of long-range ordered vortex-antivortex arrays that exhibit nearly continuous polarization rotation. Phase-field modelling confirms that the vortex array is the low-energy state for a range of superlattice periods. Within this range, the large gradient energy from the vortex structure is counterbalanced by the corresponding large reduction in overall electrostatic energy (which would otherwise arise from polar discontinuities at the lead titanate/strontium titanate interfaces) and the elastic energy associated with epitaxial constraints and domain formation. These observations have implications for the creation of new states of matter (such as dipolar skyrmions, hedgehog states) and associated phenomena in ferroic materials, such as electrically controllable chirality.

Lepton-Nucleon Scattering (experiments) - Abstract
A measurement of the inclusive b-jet production cross section is presented in pp and p-Pb collisions at √S-NN = 5.02 TeV, using data collected with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The jets were reconstructed in the central rapidity region vertical bar eta vertical bar < 0.5 from charged particles using the anti-kT algorithm with resolution parameter R = 0.4. Identification of b jets exploits the long lifetime of b hadrons, using the properties of secondary vertices and impact parameter distributions. The p(T)-differential inclusive production cross section of b jets, as well as the corresponding inclusive b-jet fraction, are reported for pp and p-Pb collisions in the jet transverse momentum range 10

Heavy Ion Experiments - Abstract
Measurements of elliptic (v(2)) and triangular (v(3)) flow coefficients of pi(+/-), K-+/-, p+(p) over bar, K-S(0), and Lambda+(Lambda) over bar obtained with the scalar product method in Xe-Xe collisions at root sNN = 5.44TeV are presented. The results are obtained in the rapidity range |y| < 0.5 and reported as a function of transverse momentum, p(T), for several collision centrality classes. The flow coefficients exhibit a particle mass dependence for pT < 3 GeV/c, while a grouping according to particle type (i.e., meson and baryon) is found at intermediate transverse momenta (3 < p(T) < 8 GeV/c). The magnitude of the baryon v(2) is larger than that of mesons up to pT = 6 GeV/c. The centrality dependence of the shape evolution of the p(T)-differential v(2) is studied for the various hadron species. The v(2) coefficients of pi(+/-), K-+/-, and p+(p) over bar are reproduced by MUSIC hydrodynamic calculations coupled to a hadronic cascade model (UrQMD) for p(T) < 1 GeV/c. A comparison with vn measurements in the corresponding centrality intervals in Pb-Pb collisions at root sNN = 5.02TeV yields an enhanced v(2) in central collisions and diminished value in semicentral collisions.

Chemical Physics - Abstract
© 2019 Elsevier B.V. In recent years, gold nanoparticles have emerged as unique non-invasive drug carriers for targeting drugs to their site of action. Their site specificity has helped in increasing drugs' efficacy at lower dose as well as reduction in their side effects. Moreover, their excellent optical properties and small size offer their utilization as diagnostic tools to diagnose tumors as well as other diseases. This review focuses on various approaches that have been used in last several years for preparation of gold nanoparticles, their characterization techniques and theranostic applications. Their toxicity related aspects are also highlighted. Gold nanoparticles are useful as theranostic agents, owing to their small size, biocompatible nature, size dependent physical, chemical and optical properties etc. However, the challenges associated with these nanoparticles such as scale up, cost, low drug payload, toxicity and stability have been the major impediments in their commercialization. The review looks into all these critical issues and identifies the possibilities to overcome these challenges for successful positioning of metallic nanoparticles in market.

- Abstract
© 2018 Elsevier B.V. Modified Apple Polysaccharide (MAP) has been reported to cure colorectal diseases by up-regulating apoptosis and down regulating metastasis. In the present study, mesalamine (MES) and MAP mini tablets have been prepared and co-administered with probiotics to provide site specific release of drug. Probiotics along with MAP, which acts as a prebiotic would replenish the colonic microflora that have been compromised due to colorectal pathology. MES mini tablets were prepared keeping guar gum in the core and coating them with Eudragit S100 and guar gum. The optimized batch was explored for its curative potential on acetic acid induced ulcerative colitis (UC) in rat model with and without administration of probiotic and MAP. The results revealed that the rats treated with the combination of MAP and MES mini tablets along with probiotics show maximum curative potential. It was also observed that MAP mini tablets show better curative potential as compared to probiotics. The results of disease activity index, macroscopic scoring, antioxidant studies, tumour alpha and histopathological examination suggested that the rats treated with combination of MES-MAP mini tablets and probiotics have maximum therapeutic effect followed by MES mini tablets alone, MAP mini tablets alone and probiotics.

From the previous literature it was observed that modern lifestyle habits among youngsters are risk factors for hearing loss. So, there is a need to investigate the risk of early “Lifestyle Induced Hearing Loss” among younger adults. The present study aimed to investigate the risk of early “Lifestyle Induced Hearing Loss” among younger adults. Lifestyle Induced Hearing Loss Risk Questionnaire (LIHLRQ) was developed and administered among 412 university students in the age range of 17 to 25 years. There are 28 questions in LIHLQ, categorized fewer than three sections i.e, Noise Exposure (NE), Lifestyle and Auditory Health Belief (LAHB) and Ear related Medical History (ERMH). Among a total of 412 participants in the present study, only 1.21% falls under no risk category, whereas 54.61% and 39.56% falls under mild and moderate risk category respectively. The percentage of population falls under high risk was 4.61%. Kruskal Wallis test revealed significant difference across groups (p

- Abstract
© 2017 The Author(s). Here, we show the presence of flexoelectricity in the recently discovered polar vortices in PbTiO3/SrTiO3superlattices based on a combination of machine-learning analysis of the atomic-scale electron microscopy imaging data and phenomenological phase-field modeling. By scrutinizing the influence of flexocoupling on the global vortex structure, we match theory and experiment using computer vision methodologies to determine the flexoelectric coefficients for PbTiO3and SrTiO3. Our findings highlight the inherent, nontrivial role of flexoelectricity in the generation of emergent complex polarization morphologies and demonstrate a viable approach to delineating this effect, conducive to the deeper exploration of both topics.

- Abstract
Use of active forms of vitamin D is advocated in CKD patients for treatment of mineral bone disease because of the presumption that native forms of vitamin D would not undergo significant activation to calcitriol, the most active biological form of vitamin D. We present secondary analysis looking at bone turnover in subjects who completed the randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial investigating the effect of cholecalciferol supplementation on vascular function in non-diabetic CKD stage G3-4 and vitamin D ≤20ng/ml [CTRI/2013/05/003648]. Patients were randomized (1:1) to receive either two directly observed oral doses of 300,000 IU of cholecalciferol or matching placebo at baseline and 8 weeks. Of the 120 subjects enrolled, 58 in the cholecalciferol group and 59 in the placebo group completed the study. At 16 weeks, the serum 25(OH)D and 1,25(OH)2D levels increased in the cholecalciferol group but not in the placebo group [between-group difference in mean change: 23.40 ng/ml; 95% CI: 19.76 to 27.06; p

- Abstract
Continuous rice-wheat (RW) rotation with conventional agronomic practices has resulted in declining factor productivity and degrading soil resources. A farmer's participatory research trial was conducted in Karnal, India to evaluate 8 combinations of cropping systems, tillage, crop establishment method and residue management effects on key soil physico-chemical and biological properties. Treatments (T) 1–4 involved RW and 5–8 maize-wheat (MW) with conventional tillage (CT) and zero tillage (ZT) with (+ R) and without (− R) residue recycling. Residue was either incorporated (Ri) or mulched (Rm). Treatment 1 (RW/CT − R) had the highest bulk density (BD) (1.47 Mg m−3) and T8 (MW/ZT + Rm), the lowest (1.34 Mg m−3). After 3 years of cropping, soil accumulated more organic C in (a) MW (9.33 Mg ha−1) than RW (8.5 Mg ha−1), (b) ZT (9.25 Mg ha−1) than CT (8.58 Mg ha−1), and (c) + R (10.18 Mg ha−1) than –R (7.65 Mg ha−1). MW system with ZT and residue (T8: MW/ZT + Rm) registered 208, 263, 210 and 48% improvement in soil microbial biomass C (MBC) and N, dehydrogenase activity (DHA) and alkaline phosphatase activity (APA), whereas RW system in T4 (RW/ZT + Rm) registered 83, 81, 44 and 13%, respectively as compared with T1 (RW/CT − R), the business as usual scenario. Treatment 8 (MW/ZT + Rm) recorded the highest microbial population viz. bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes. The most abundant micro-arthropods present in the soil of experimental plot were Collembola, Acari and Protura which varied with treatments. Soil MBC, APA, BD and micro-arthropod population were identified as the key indicators and contributed significantly towards soil quality index (SQI). MW system with ZT and Rm (T8) recorded the highest SQI (1.45) followed by T6 (1.34) and the lowest score (0.29) being in T1 (RW/CT − R). The SQI was higher by 90% in MW compared to RW, 22% in ZT compared to CT, and 100% in residue recycling compared with residue removal. System yield was strongly related to key soil quality

- Abstract
Aim: Blood levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH) D] are reduced in patients with nephrotic syndrome (NS). The lowering is thought to be due to urinary loss of vitamin D binding protein (DBP). A link between vitamin D deficiency and bone disease or markers of mineral metabolism has not yet been shown in NS. We hypothesized that alterations in bioavailable vitamin D levels might be linked to these abnormalities in NS. Methods: We measured circulating levels of 25(OH)D, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D [1,25(OH)2D], DBP, serum albumin and intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) in 106 adults with sporadic idiopathic NS and 40 healthy controls. Bioavailable vitamin D was calculated from previously validated formulae. Bone mineral density (BMD) was measured at left hip (neck of femur) by DEXA. Results: Compared to healthy controls, total and bioavailable 25(OH)D levels were significantly reduced in patients with NS as compared to healthy controls. Among the nephrotic patients, BMD was positively correlated with bioavailable 25(OH)D (r = 0.358; P = 0.0002) but not with total 25(OH)D (r = 0.174; P = 0.079). Total 1,25(OH)2D and bioavailable 1,25(OH)2D did not correlate with BMD (r = 0.131; P = 0.206 and r = 0.107, P = 0.295). Bioavailable 25(OH)D levels showed a strong inverse correlation with iPTH on univariate (r = −0.457; P P Conclusions: We conclude that bioavailable 25(OH)D is a better measure of vitamin D status with respect of BMD and mineral metabolism in patients of nephrotic syndrome.

GBD 2015 HIV Collaborators - Abstract
BACKGROUND: Timely assessment of the burden of HIV/AIDS is essential for policy setting and programme evaluation. In this report from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2015 (GBD 2015), we provide national estimates of levels and trends of HIV/AIDS incidence, prevalence, coverage of antiretroviral therapy (ART), and mortality for 195 countries and territories from 1980 to 2015. METHODS: For countries without high-quality vital registration data, we estimated prevalence and incidence with data from antenatal care clinics and population-based seroprevalence surveys, and with assumptions by age and sex on initial CD4 distribution at infection, CD4 progression rates (probability of progression from higher to lower CD4 cell-count category), on and off antiretroviral therapy (ART) mortality, and mortality from all other causes. Our estimation strategy links the GBD 2015 assessment of all-cause mortality and estimation of incidence and prevalence so that for each draw from the uncertainty distribution all assumptions used in each step are internally consistent. We estimated incidence, prevalence, and death with GBD versions of the Estimation and Projection Package (EPP) and Spectrum software originally developed by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). We used an open-source version of EPP and recoded Spectrum for speed, and used updated assumptions from systematic reviews of the literature and GBD demographic data. For countries with high-quality vital registration data, we developed the cohort incidence bias adjustment model to estimate HIV incidence and prevalence largely from the number of deaths caused by HIV recorded in cause-of-death statistics. We corrected these statistics for garbage coding and HIV misclassification. FINDINGS: Global HIV incidence reached its peak in 1997, at 3·3 million new infections (95% uncertainty interval [UI] 3·1-3·4 million). Annual incidence has stayed relatively constant at about 2·6 million per year (range 2·5-2·8 million) since 2005, after a period of fast decline between 1997 and 2005. The number of people living with HIV/AIDS has been steadily increasing and reached 38·8 million (95% UI 37·6-40·4 million) in 2015. At the same time, HIV/AIDS mortality has been declining at a steady pace, from a peak of 1·8 million deaths (95% UI 1·7-1·9 million) in 2005, to 1·2 million deaths (1·1-1·3 million) in 2015. We recorded substantial heterogeneity in the levels and trends of HIV/AIDS across countries. Although many countries have experienced decreases in HIV/AIDS mortality and in annual new infections, other countries have had slowdowns or increases in rates of change in annual new infections. INTERPRETATION: Scale-up of ART and prevention of mother-to-child transmission has been one of the great successes of global health in the past two decades. However, in the past decade, progress in reducing new infections has been slow, development assistance for health devoted to HIV has stagnated, and resources for health in low-income countries have grown slowly. Achievement of the new ambitious goals for HIV enshrined in Sustainable Development Goal 3 and the 90-90-90 UNAIDS targets will be challenging, and will need continued efforts from governments and international agencies in the next 15 years to end AIDS by 2030. Solanum nigrum belongs to family Solanaceae. Blacknight-shade and Makoi are the common name for it. The chemical constituents commonly found in Solanum nigrum are glycoalkaloids, glycoproteins, polysaccharides, polyphenolic compounds such as gallic acid, cathechin, protocatechuic acid, caffeic acid, epicatechin, rutin etc. Solanum nigrum has very much importance as a medicinal plant. Root, whole plant and leaves are used but fruits of black colour are not used as they possess toxicity, therefore they are not used for medicinal purposes. Reddish- brown coloured fruits are used for edible purpose. It has been also extensively used in traditional medicine in India and other parts of world to cure liver disorders, digestion, chronic skin ailments, inflammatory conditions, painful periods, fevers, diarrhoea, eye disease, hydrophobia etc. Extracts prepared with using spices condiments exhibited stomach disorders and also improved digestion activity as compared to other digestive pills.

Tourism activities is considered as one of the major sources of economic growth, at International level it is one of the fastest growing industries, accounting for more than 10% of total international trade and almost half of total trade in services, and can be considered as one of the world’s largest export earners (WTO, 2010). It regarded as a medium of employment generation Tourism reduces the trade deficit by generating the foreign exchange earnings from foreign tourist arrivals FTAs. It sometimes finances the import of capital goods necessary for the growth of manufacturing sectors in the economy. In many countries, foreign currency receipts from tourism exceeded currency receipts from all other sectors together. Over the past decades, the importance of the tourism sector for the economy has been steadily increasing. At International level it is recognized as a major contributor for long-run economic growth. It plays an important role in spurring investments in infrastructure and stimulates other industries by direct, indirect and induced effects. Tourism in India has shown a phenomenal growth in the past decade. But the growth was not so uniform since the promotional campaigns (Incredible India’ and ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’) focuses on tourism for holiday, recreation and leisure only hence tourism in India has confined its scope to these only but as the time is changing the tourism has evolved itself as a multi dimensional activity. In India tourism has much to offer to travellers and tourists than offering tourism for holiday and recreation only viz. 1. Medical Tourism: Medical Services in India are quiet cheaper in comparison to the developed nations, so we can take the advantage of this to promote medical tourism in order to attract more FTAs. 2. Business Tourism: As India is the fastest growing economy in the world, we can attract more people to do business here in this way promote business tourism which would result more FTAs. 3. Educational Tourism: Indian education system is known for its quality, many doctors, engineers and other professionals who have been educated in India are serving the world and have proved their worthiness. In this way by focusing on our quality education system we should promote educational tourism and attract more students of foreign nationals and consequently increasing the FTAs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 September 2014 launched the ‘Make in India’ campaign at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. PM Modi has targeted 25 sectors for ‘Make in India’ programme. Among them hospitality and tourism are also included. Through, ‘Make in India’ the infrastructure a key driver of the economy highly responsible for propelling countries overall development. Would ensure time-bound creation of world class infrastructure in the country. This sector includes power, bridges, dams, roads and urban infrastructure development etc. Infrastructure of the country would be improved. There would be no dearth of accessing basic amenities, which will ultimately improve the quality of life in India. If investment in hospitality and tourism sector is made then the fertility of this investment will be proved only if we could succeed to attract more foreign tourist arrivals (FTAs) towards India. Taking the advantage of changing scenario of improvement in infrastructure and other basic amenities, we need to revitalize the promotional campaigning for promoting tourism as a multi dimensional activity Keeping in mind the above things the concept of “Travel in India” International Advertising Programme for promoting multi dimensional tourism in India is given in order to increase India’s global share in tourism by attracting more FTAs.
